ROXI JOHNSON vs KRISSY FILAPOVIC

 Issue #58: Dreams

{Roxi and Keira are inside their modest home gym, complete with wrestling ring, and grappling mats. They spar lightly, going a half-speed to avoid injuring each other. They go through some basic moves and counters, Roxi instructs Keira who listens intently.}

Roxi – You’re doing well.

Keira – I feel better.

Roxi – See now? All this training is starting to pay off. You won your last match.

Keira – I did, but I want more.

Roxi – That’s good. It’s why we’re here.

{Roxi helps Keira to her feet after standing up herself. Both their workout shirt is drenched in sweat, they square up to each other.}

Keira – You know, this would be so much easier for both of us if you would just team with me.

{Roxi is taken aback by Keira’s statement. She relaxes her stance.}

Roxi – Keira, I would love to team with you. You know that.

Keira – Then why don’t you?

Roxi – You’re only in one place, and it’s the place I can’t wrestle at! I’m security. I can’t violate that job.

Keira – Even for one night? Just us against the tag champions! We beat them, and we move on!

Roxi – Keira, that’s not how that works all the time. When there’s a time, and a place that we can both do it, we will. I promise.

Keira – You really mean that?

Roxi – Of course I do.

Keira – I mean… I know you… were talking about taking a break…

Roxi – I was… but thanks to you, and the outpouring of people who got upset with me, I’ll be around for a while.

{Keira smiles a prideful smile.}

Keira – I had to.

Roxi – Yeah, yeah. Can we get on with the training?

Keira – Of course.

{Roxi and Keira resume their fighting stances. Keira aggressively charges, throwing some very quick combinations of kicks and punches, but Roxi is able to either block, or dodge, escaping any real trouble. Keira changes her strategy and dives in, single-legging Roxi, and Roxi is taken down, but Roxi gains control of Keira’s wrists, preventing her from doing anything. Wrapping her legs around Keira waist, She is able to turn Keira to her back, and switch positions. Keira throws her legs up and hooks them under Roxi’s arms, and is able to toss her back, and out of the mounted position. Keira rolls up, and Roxi gets to a knee and grins. Keira again charges, driving herself into Roxi as she stands. Keira keeps driving trying to get Roxi down, but Roxi sprawls out, and then slightly begins choking Keira with a guillotine, But Keira twists out into a hammerlock, and uses her foot to break Roxi down to her knees, But Roxi reverses with drop-toe hold, and floats onto Keira’s back. She tucks her legs in between Keira’s and grapevines them, ensuring Keira can go nowhere. Roxi pulls on Keira’s arm, bending her wrist and applying slight pressure.}

Keira – Ow…. Ow! Okay!

Roxi – Well done my love. You are getting better every single time we do this.

{Roxi let’s go of Keira’s wrist, and eases up off her, and helps Keira up.}

Keira – One day I’m going to get you.

Roxi – I don’t doubt it. You mixed up your attacks well.

Keira – Not well enough.

Roxi – You’re still learning good grappling techniques. I know Ju-jitsu. You’re kind of outmatched, but you’re holding your own.

Keira – I swear I’ll get you one of these times.

Roxi – Oh hush, you already get me enough.

Keira – But that’s not for real. We’re just messing around.

Roxi – I know, but still, I’m no match for you in that department.

{Keira grins slyly.}

Keira – Well, you know the superhero can always meet her supervillain match.

Roxi – Yeah, yeah, I think that’s enough for today. You are going to do great in your next match.

{Roxi fans herself and wipes the sweat off her brow.}

Roxi – I think it’s time for a shower.

Keira – I don’t know, I kinda like you all sweaty.

Roxi – We can do that later.

Keira – How about now, and then we can shower… together?

{Roxi ponders this.}

Roxi – Maybe.

Keira – Good girl.

Roxi – Just don’t lose that focus, you’re going to be a handful in your next match.

Keira – You think so?

Roxi – I know so.

{Roxi places her hand on Keira’s shoulder. Keira smiles at Roxi.}

Keira – What would I do without you?

{Roxi giggles at her own joke. Keira can’t help but smile either.}

Keira – Very funny.

{The two share a kiss before walking out of the gym, Roxi reaching back, and turning off the lights.}

I don’t want to crush Keira’s dreams. I would love to team up with her one day. Be one of the first married couples to win tag team gold. We just can’t do it in LAW where she works now. I’m security there. Not a wrestler. It’s just too bad that she doesn’t have a place with me. I hate making her wait around when she doesn’t need to. But, I do enjoy training her, and, in essence, training myself. And to be honest, maybe I needed to a lot more than I usually have.

Mainly because the world seems to have gone topsy-turvy all of a sudden. Everything in wrestling, and in SCW especially, can change on a dime. First, I was set to face Joanne Canelli and beat her for the Bombshell’s Internet championship, a concept that should have happened at Inception. But then, I drew with Krissy Filapovic a couple of weeks ago, and that… for some reason… impressed everyone enough for Krissy to be added to the match. So now, I’m staring at a triple threat match. But then, out of the blue, Joanne has a family emergency, and she has to leave SCW. She was forced to vacate the title, and now, it’s back to a one on one match with me, and Krissy at Blaze of Glory IV.

Obviously, I wasn’t the happiest camper given the circumstances. I worked very hard, and beat my fair share of bombshells, only to be passed over for others for no discernible reason. I’ve always been here, done what was asked of me, and never complained about what goes on. But this draw thing, it sticks in my craw. I was unaware I was putting a possible contender’s spot on the line against Krissy, and even in that, she didn’t beat me, we drew. I could see if Krissy beat me, that then she would get this opportunity, but she didn’t. Now, on the flip side, I didn’t beat her. I should have, but I didn’t.  But this always seems to be the case with me now. I have to prove my worth all of a sudden. I need to earn my opportunities. I guess has Krissy beat me, she would just have won the Bombshell’s Internet championship via forfeit. Yes, it bugs me,  yes, I’m kind of complaining right now, but from my perspective, I have never done anything wrong, and yet, I get walked on like I’m a pushover. So, I’m done with that nonsense, and standing up for what’s really right. It just so happens, it’s in my best interest.

So anyway, I can respect Krissy as an athlete, a wrestler, and as a person. I mean, she served in the Military, and that is awesome. I have nothing but respect for a hero like her. But that respect took a hard blow because what she did, was come out in front of the world, and call me fake. Like I don’t do what I do. Like I haven’t saved the world a dozen times over or so. It’s not like I go around parading that fact. I don’t have to tell you what I do all the time, in fact, in a lot of cases, its best you don’t know what I go through. But for Krissy, who barely knows me, to come out and tell me that I’m fake, and she doesn’t believe me, is a little insulting. Obviously, that’s what she was going for, but it just hurt that she would just come out of nowhere and just attack me like that. She wanted to make a name for herself, and that’s just fine. If you can talk and back it up, there won’t be a problem. But  when your first instinct is to try and tear down all that I have stood for, for so many years, it hurts, and it makes me not really like you. I can understand it was for the match, and all, to add some fuel to the fire. But that’s just something I’m not really going to sit here and take.

It would be one thing is Krissy had a long track record here in SCW for her to say that, but she doesn’t. And this isn’t going to be some kind of repeat of when Electra Styles came in to SCW and she beat me for the Bombshell’s title out of nowhere. I mean, back then, I was in a different place emotionally. I was lost then, and Electra brought me back. This time, it’s really some person coming in and trying to make a name for themselves at my expense, when really, I tried to be her friend. This always seems to happen to me now. Maybe I’ve reached the status of “grizzled vet” even though I’m only 28. But that doesn’t mean I’m just going to aside for anyone in SCW. I’ve earned my place, and I intend to not only keep it, but improve on it. I’m not just standing in a spot, I’m taking up residence there. And Krissy Filapovic isn’t about to just come in and evict me from my space. No, the fact of the matter is, the days of people just using me to get title matches and earn a place on the card is over. I’m not about to just let Krissy walk in and take what should have been mine 3 months ago.

The Bombshell’s Internet championship has had one owner, and she did nothing with it. SCW wants this new title to have some prestige, it looks like a job for Roxi Johnson doesn’t it? If not for that championship slipping out of my hand, and landing on Joanne’s body, I would already have it. And now, I’ve done all that was asked of me, again, and now, I’m walking into Denmark and I’m going to become the Bombshell’s Internet champion. The fact is, Krissy is just as good an opponent as Joanne would have been. Joanne walked away with the title by happenstance, and Krissy earned this opportunity by happenstance. Now, I’m going to prove to SCW that I’m going to get, what I’ve earned. First, the Bombshell’s Internet championship, and down the line, I’m going to be the Bombshell’s champion again.

So, to Krissy, I’m almost sorry I have to crush your dreams.

Almost.

{Roxi walks into Hamilton, and checks in at her desk. She walks into the cubicle area and spots Larry, and a small child with him.}

Roxi – Larry? Who’s this?

Larry – This is my daughter, Holly. Say hi to Roxi sweetie.

Holly – Hi Roxi.

Roxi – Hi sweetheart.

{Larry stands up from his desk, and places Holly in the chair.}

Larry – Her mom left us a few years ago. Ran off to “Save the world” or something down in Africa.

Roxi – So… what’s the deal with bringing her here?

Larry – I like to keep my professional and personal life separate. But, today, I can’t do that. I thought about putting her in the day care here in the building…

Roxi – But…

Larry – But that didn’t go well. Seems the company likes to put the kids to work.

Roxi – Wait, what?

Larry – They were going to have her go pain lines in the parking lots.

Roxi – Oh… no wonder they’re so screwed up.
Larry – I don’t think that’s really… a “day care” activity.

Roxi – You know, I did notice my garbage was picked up by a child.

Larry – Yeah, apparently they’re “training the future”

Roxi – I… I don’t even know anymore.

Larry – Yeah, well, I don’t have a sitter, she called in sick.

Holly – We think she may be pulling a fast one.

Larry – You think she’s pulling a fast one, I think she’s just sick.

Holly – Mmmhmm…

Larry – Anyway, with the project we’re working on, I figured it’s not the most… kid friendly.

Roxi – They are not.

Larry – Yeah, I’ll try and lighten things up for the meeting.

{Larry spots Heather walking into the office.}

Larry – And here comes trouble.

{Roxi sees Heather, as she dumps her bag at her desk, and heads back out into the cubicle area, and then to Roxi and Larry.}

Heather – Ah, good, just the two people I needed to see.

Roxi – Heather?

Heather – We’re having an issue with false contamination alarms going off in the lab. So, the company was wondering, since, putting on hazmat suits is so time consuming… maybe we could just not have them do it anymore.

{Roxi and Larry look at one another.}

Roxi – You want people to not put on their Hazmat suits when they hear an alarm?

Heather – If it’s a false one, yes.

Roxi – And… how would we know that?

Heather – Because they’re practically ALL false alarms.

{Roxi and Heather look at one another in silence for a few moments.}

Heather – You’re not going to go with that, are you?

Roxi – No.

Larry – That’s really not safe.

Heather – Ugh.

Larry – Also, did you even notice my daughter?

Heather – I look at people’s eyes when I speak to them Larry, not their waists.

{Heather looks down and over at Holly.}

Heather – Hello sweetheart.

Holly – Hello.

Larry – We’re having a day care problem.

Heather – Oh? Have you tried Hamilton’s? Many of the janitorial staff came up through there. They rave about it.

Larry – Just a little… over protective is all.

Heather – Well, you’re always welcome here, daughter of Larry.

Larry – Holly.

Heather – I know her name.

Roxi – Holly’s name.

Heather – You know sweetheart, you’re father –

Holly – Larry.

Heather – I KNOW EVERYONE’S NAME! It’s meeting time anyway!

{In a huff, Heather walks away.}

Larry – Shall we?

Roxi – Best not keep her waiting.

{Roxi, Larry, Heather, Holly, walk into the meeting room, joining Dave and Marcos, the two top scientists. Larry calls Dave over.}

Larry – Dave, you’re doing the speech right?

Dave – Yes.

Larry – Could you… maybe not use the… adult words for this one? My daughters sitting in.

Dave – Oh… okay… I’ll try.
<HR>
{The meeting progresses.}

Dave – Next, we looked at what would happen if we dropped a…

{Dave pauses, looking at Holly. Marcos speaks up.}

Marcos – Kitten.

Dave – Kitten, from an airplane at 30,000 feet.

Holly – You dropped a kitten from a plane?

Dave – Oh, of course not… why would we do that?

Larry – Not a real kitten sweetheart.

Dave – *Ahem* so, at that altitude, the kitten would…

{Dave peers over again to Holly.}

Marcos – Snuggle.

Dave – Snuggle! Yes, snuggle everyone within a two mile radius. Within 4 miles, they would be… cuddled so bad they would be hospitalized.

Roxi – And that’s why Kitten’s make bad pets, the end.

Larry – Let’s just end it there, for those unsure of what’s happening, we’ll re-do this meeting tomorrow.

{The meeting adjourns. Dave and Marcos huddle together, Dave grabbing some snacks from the food tray.}

Marcos – What are you doing?

Dave – I’m hungry.

Marcos – Don’t take those down to the lab.

Dave – Why?

Marcos – Because you’ll leave them in your pocket, you always do!

{Flustered, Dave places the snack back on the tray. Holly looks over at them.}

Holly – So… Marcos is your boss now?

Dave – What? No… he’s… he’s not my boss.

Marcos – We’re equals.

Dave – Why would you think that?

Holly – He was telling you what to say and do.

{Larry walks over to them.}

Larry – Come on Holly.

{Larry takes Holly out of the room, where they meet up with Roxi.}

Larry – Wow… well, that went better than I expected.

Roxi – No, that wasn’t awkward at all.

Larry – Could you, walk Holly back to my desk. I’ve… got to answer nature’s call.

Roxi – Sure. Come on sweetie, I’ll show you some cool stuff.

Holly – Okay.

{Roxi and Holly walk back to Larry’s desk, a huge chunk of a green putty-like substance sits on his desk. Roxi picks it up and examines it.}

Roxi – Oh, so that’s where that went.

Holly – What is it?

Roxi – It’s something we invented for a line of diet foods.

Holly – Ewww… people were going to eat this?

Roxi – The green is a big turn off, isn’t it?

Holly – Yeah… yuck.

Roxi –That’s what I said too.

{Larry returns to the desk.}

Larry – Hey beautiful

{Roxi and Holly both turn.}

Larry – Beautifuls…

Holly – Hi daddy.

Roxi – Hi daddy…

{Roxi’s eyes dart away.}

Roxi – I…. am just never going to call you that again.

Larry – Well… thanks for taking care of her.

Roxi – It’s nothing. Kids seem to like me.

Larry – You do seem good with them, how come you don’t have any?

Roxi – Oh… I… I guess I never thought about having them.

Larry – Sure you’d make a great mommy.

Roxi – Oh…. Well… thanks Larry.

{Heather walks out of her office as approaches Roxi and Larry again.}

Heather – Good, you’re both here. Marcos and Dave are having trouble with the prototype, I need you both to get down to the lab.

Larry – Oh, I can’t go, I have to watch Holly.

{Heather thinks for a second, and smirks.}

Heather – I can wash Holly.

Larry – I said WATCH Holly not…. Wash her?

Heather – Hmm.. even easier.

Roxi – The fact that you thought he said wash, makes me think you may not know a whole lot about child care.

Heather – I know they need to be clean. I mean, have I ever failed at ANYTHING? No. But you two will, if you don’t get down there.

Larry – Honey, I’m sorry, I can’t take you to the lab, there’s a lot of dangerous stuff down there.

Holly – it’s okay, Heather seems nice enough.

Heather – Thank you! I am friendly enough! Come on sweetheart.

{Holly takes Heather’s hand and smiles as they walk away towards Heather’s office.}

Roxi – That… is really scary.

Larry – I can’t believe that just happened.

Roxi – We’d better get to the lab, I don’t like that lasting any longer than it needs to.

Larry – The lab? Or Holly?

Roxi – Both.

{Roxi and Larry head towards the elevator. Entering, they stands and head down.}

Larry – Did you ever find out that stuff from Patricia?

Roxi – Oh… yeah. Patricia is very… much a workaholic.

Larry – I don’t see how she does it.

Roxi – Some people love their jobs.

Larry – Not here. Maybe she’s just an evil scientist.

Roxi – At this place? No…

Larry – You’re right, any self-respecting evil scientist would have his or her own place.

Roxi – Touché

{They exit the elevator, and head into the lab.}

Roxi – Dave. Marcos.

Larry – Guys? Is there a problem?

Marcos – Yeah, a child, your child, thought I was Dave’s boss, and nothing have been the same ever since.

Roxi – Geez, for a tiny person, she reeks a lot of havoc.

Dave – Don’t worry, we’ve worked it out, as everyone knows, Marcos is inherently bossy! But we’ve worked out a system. So, to continue, I did a series of equations.

{A timer on the table dings.}

Marcos – Which are totally useless.

Larry – So… Marcos is the boss now?

Dave – For 10, unbearable minutes.

Marcos – Through trial and error, we discovered 10 minutes is the max time either one of us can be bossed, before Dave becomes a jackass.

Dave – Keep talking buddy, in 9 minutes, there’s going to be a new sheriff in town!

Roxi – Okay… I think I see the problem.

{Roxi picks up the timer, and throws it away.}

Roxi – And, the problem is solved. Now… can you guys get back to work?

Marcos – We’re sorry.

{Larry taps Roxi on the shoulder.}

Larry – Can I talk to you?

Roxi – Sure.

{Roxi walks towards an empty office, but stops and takes the timer again.}

Roxi – It’s not that a don’t trust you guys…

{Roxi looks at the timer, then at Dave and Marcos.}

Roxi – Okay, it’s that I don’t trust you.

{Roxi and Larry walk into the next room. When the door shuts,  Dave pulls out another timer.}

Dave – you have 7 and a half minutes.

Marcos – Fantastic. Viva Marcos!

{Inside the room, Larry and Roxi talk.}

Larry – I… just wanted to say that it’s really great to have you here. Someone who understands people.

Roxi – I’m just trying to do my job is all.

Larry – This places has needed someone like you. I hope you can stay for a long time.

Roxi – I… uh… stay til the jobs done.

Larry – Well, this job, is could take a while.

Roxi – Oh, I know.

Larry – And… I don’t know if you heard, but… that Project S.I.N. thing? I think it’s almost ready.

Roxi – How do you –

{Roxi is interrupted by the contamination alarm.}

Larry – Oh crap. We’ve gotta get these suits on!

{Roxi and Larry put the Hazmat suits on.}

Larry – You know, I’ve never been down here for one of these.

Roxi – Well… we’re not jelly, so it’s probably a false alarm.

Larry – What if we took too long? We could be dead in a half an hour.

Roxi – Well… you could be wearing something even more ridiculous.

Larry – Touché

{The alarm finally stops buzzing, as the doors unseal, and a scientist walks in.}

Roxi – Mark? Is it clear?

Mark – Oh, yeah, it’s a false alarm.

{Roxi and Larry take of their headpiece of the hazmat suits.}

Mark – Oscar and I have been setting them off,
Roxi – What? Why?

Mark – I wanted more break time, and he goes along with it, because he’s weak.

Larry – Mark… that’s not good. We can’t let that go.

Mark – Neither could your daughter. She fired me.

{Larry gets wide-eyed}

Larry – My daughter fired you? Holly? About 4 feet tall? Hates broccoli?

Mark – That’s the one.

{Roxi and Larry look at each other.}

Larry – I have to get upstairs.

Roxi – Yes you do.

{Larry and Roxi walk back into the lab, to find Marcos and Dave, who are sharing one hazmat suit.}

Dave – Hi…

Marcos – Hi…

Roxi – Why…. Are you both in one suit?

Dave – The other one was in a different room.

Roxi – Whose idea was this? Who was the boss?

Marcos – Neither, we came up with this together.

Roxi – Good job guys.

{Roxi pats them on the shoulder and walks off with Larry. They head back into the elevator, and head back upstairs to their floor.}

Larry – I knew it wasn’t a good idea to leave Holly with Heather!

Roxi – Yeah, now she’s firing people.

Larry – Look like we gotta watch ourselves, or we could be next.

Roxi – I… that’s a good point. I was always nice to her!

{They get off the elevator, as Larry walks into Heather’s office.}

Holly – Hi daddy.

Larry – Come on sweetie, it’s time to go.

Holly – But Heather and I are having fun! Heather is teaching me what it’s like to be a woman in a man’s world.

Heather – She has a gift. You should have seen how cleanly she fired Mark.

Larry – I heard. But it’s time to go.

Holly – Good-bye Heather.

Heather – Good-bye dear.

{Heather and Holly hug. Holly gets up and joins Larry and takes his hand as they walk out of the office. Roxi watches on in approval before gathering her things to finish the work day.}

They are good people. At least… they mean well. They have their moments I guess. I’ve always believed that about people, even in the worst of circumstances, they can work together, and solve problems. Even though this particular group of people are almost unknowingly helping destroy the world. At least… nothing we’ve pushed out from my department has done damage. In fact… we haven’t pushed anything out since the jetpack. And that’s…. still a few years away from actual use.

I’m actually feeling a little sad now. To know that what I have to do, will probably cost all these people their jobs. Dave, Marcos, Larry, they’re really nice, and friendly, and… maybe in some cases naïve, but still, their hearts are in the right place. And now I’m going to become the bad guy, when it’s all said and done.

Of course, that’s all depending on whether or not I survive against Sin in the first place. I’m really not looking forward to this at all.

But, it’s my job. Whether certain people want to believe it, or not.

I never expected thanks, or people to take it seriously, just to understand, sometimes it’s what they don’t see, that’s the scariest.

{Returning home, Roxi finds Keira in the home gym again, hitting the heavy bag repeatedly. She strikes hard, and with precision, as Roxi looks on, nodding and smiling at her wife’s progression. Roxi’s wrist communicator then goes off.}

Roxi – Vision?

Vision – Roxi, is everything going to plan?

Roxi – For now yes.

Vision – The Guild was just a little worried about the progress.

Roxi – As far as I know, Project S.I.N. is pretty much out of money, so they’re making do. So, even if they complete it, which they said they’re close to, it won’t be 100%. That should give us a little bit of an advantage.

Vision – Everyone just wonder how you plan to combat this thing?

Roxi - I don’t know Vision. Amy and the Clan are ready to fight by our side, but we’re going to go over plans with them soon.

Vision – Anything else you’re going to need?

Roxi – Force. And Warp.

Vision – Okay…

Roxi – Vision, those people are work with aren’t all bad. I just want them safe from this thing, should it come to that. Force can shield them, and Warp can get the majority of them out of harm’s way instantly. I don’t know exactly what we’re facing, maybe Jenny can make more out of the plans, but I’m plotting for every scenario, including worst case.

Vision – But isn’t this Keira’s eval?

Roxi – It is, but… I don’t know, I don’t want her getting hurt.

Vision – She’s a grown up Roxi, she knows what she’s doing.

Roxi – Not in this case, none of us do.

{Roxi opens the gym door again, and sees that Keira is exiting, heading the living room area.}

Roxi – She’s my wife Vision, I don’t know what I’d do if anything happened to her.

Vision – Do you she thinks the same way?

{Roxi ponders Vision’s last statement.}

Roxi – I do.  I really do. I guess… I guess It’s just hard to for me.

Vision – You’ve planned everything, so, if anything comes up, we’ll let you know, also, we’ll find Ms. Tuck and bring her here.

Roxi – Yeah, maybe she knows the story with those plans. Thanks Vision.

Vision – You got it.

{Roxi ends the call, and goes to look for Keira.}

Well, things have certainly escalated, haven’t they?

I was shocked when Keira told me she was offered a contract by SCW. I never imagined this would be the place for her. I know this gets both of us one step closer to the dream of actually being tag champions one day, but we’re obviously going to take this one step at a time. Trust me, I’m going to make SCW proud, and prove them to be wise people for signing my wife to a contract. This will not be some pushover signing who will be gone in a few weeks. No, this is my wife, and my wife is going to be just like me: Constant.

It’s something I pride myself on everywhere I’ve been, and everywhere I am now. Being that performer who constantly gives the best they can out there. I’m not going to half-ass it, nor will I let my wife half-ass it out there. Together, we’re going to show SCW that they’ve got the best wrestling couple in the world! Because not only am I going to beat Krissy Filapovic at Blaze of Glory, but Keira, is going to wipe the floor with Veronica Taylor. You can bank on that.  Keira’s wanted to hurt the Mean Girls for a long time, and now, she finally gets her opportunity. It’s all surreal right now to me, but it’s something I’ve wanted for Keira. Now, she’s happy and excited, and that makes me happy.

But, as much as I want Keira to win, I want to win even more. Which is why I’m not taking any chances with Krissy. Last time, I underestimated her, and she almost knocked me out. This time, that will not happen. This time, I’m going to beat her, right in the middle of the ring, no questions asked. I am not about to leave this to chance, and rob myself of a championship again. In fact, the more I think about, the more fired up I get. I was kind of down on this show, even with my championship opportunity, and opening the show, and knowing full well that opening the show means I set the pace. But then again, haven’t I always done that? Haven’t I always been there? So it was right up my alley. But now, now the show has just a little extra meaning to put it over the top. I beat Krissy, Keira destroys Veronica, and everybody’s happy. There’s only a few more things that would complete the night, and that’s if Natalie beats Mercedes, Misty and Andrew win the Blaze of Glory tournament, and Amy beats Delia. That would just be perfect.

But, I can only do my part, and beat Krissy. So, I need to focus on that. I know that as a wrestler, Krissy is pretty good. I know she can hold her own, take it as well as she can dish it out and that’s impressive. But this is a different time now. Now things, things are ramped up significantly. And that means, I can’t come up short, or not give my all out there. Maybe with all the stuff going on, it’s been rougher than I thought on my body and mind, but now, at Blaze of Glory, I’ll be clear. I’ll beat back to normal. I’ll be the same as I ever was. A hero, ready to take on the world, and a champion that SCW can be proud of.

That’s my dream right now.

ANTI SUPERHERO
on camera

The scene opens at an undisclosed location in Copenhagen, Denmark. Krissy stands in a dark room with Consuela Amastacia. There are many tables with black clothes over them and many different things laid out of the tables.

Consuela Amastacia:  So all of this stuff is supposed to help you out?

Krissy nods her head, grabbing up some rappelling rope. Various thickness and lengths were on the table.

Krissy Filapovich: Yes. I can’t afford to make the same mistake that I made last time I faced Roxi.

Consuela purses her lips together, putting her hands on her curvy hips.

Consuela Amastacia: But your match was no contest. Neither of you lost.

Krissy looks at her and scoffs some.

Krissy Filapovich: Neither of us won either.

Consuela kind of lets her head wobble from side to side as she lets out a soft sigh.

Consuela Amastacia: Okay you got a point there. So what is your game plan with all of this bondage gear?

Krissy arches a brow at Connie, mouthing ‘The Fuck’ to her.

Krissy Filapovich: What? Bondage gear? Where?

Consuela gestures to all the tables that was around them. The rappelling ropes and harnesses. Ascenders and descenders. The zip ties and cords. Pulleys and loops. Krissy looks at her and shakes her head.

Krissy Filapovich: No. But Lindsey was right about her being a lesbian.

Consuela smirks.

Consuela Amastacia: Are you serious?

Krissy simply nods and walks over to the cable ties.

Krissy Filapovich: Yes, but that’s not big. Her sexuality is whatever. So what if she prefers vagina over dick? So these cable ties. They are for..

Consuela cuts her off.

Consuela Amastacia: Wait, didn’t Alex use these on you?

Krissy arches a brow, but says nothing as Connie continues.

Consuela Amastacia: Val told me about it. He uses this now on you because the handcuffs don’t work on your anymore.

Krissy blushes.

Krissy Filapovich: Yeah. Um, yeah. Now is not the time.

Consuela Amastacia: Right. So after you take on Roxi are you going to use any of this stuff to take on The Monster?

Krissy was about to speak again but she looks confused one more time.

Krissy Filapovich: What monster?

Consuela smirks.

Consuela Amastacia: The monster you told me Alex has in his pants.

Krissy’s eyes widen and she glances towards the camera and speaks real low to Connie, nudging her.

Krissy Filapovich: Now is not the time to discuss that

Consuela Amastacia: But you said that…

Krissy reaches up and covers her mouth.

Krissy Filapovich: Now is not the time to talk about that.... Now let's review this gear I have here....

Consuela smirks some at Krissy as she uncovers her mouth now.

Consuela Amastacia: Oh this oughta be good. Enlighten me.

Krissy nods to her and walks over to the rappelling rope.

Krissy Filapovich: This I can use to get away from Roxi when she tries to ensnare me in her trap of goody gumdrop evil

Consuela Amastacia: She has a trap called that?

Krissy shrugs.

Krissy Filapovich: No.... Now focus. All of this stuff has a use for how I can get the SCW Bombshell Internet Championship around my waist.

Consuela Amastacia: I have faith in you by the way.

Krissy smiles to her friend.

Krissy Filapovich: Thank you. I'm glad that my friends support me. This match isn't going to be an easy one, that's for sure.

Consuela looks confused.

Consuela Amastacia: Now when I watched the show and her faced Roxi, I saw this match was supposed to be a triple threat. Is that still on?

Krissy Filapovich: No it’s not. You see that changed when Joanne quit. Not because she was scared, family emergency. Which sucks, but it happens, sadly.

Krissy let out a soft sigh and shrugs her shoulders.

Krissy Filapovich: Now, I have to go get some gym time in before this match. Then meet with Alex.

Krissy walks over to the camera she had set and shuts it off. Cut to black.

TAKING ROXI SERIOUS
on camera

The scene opens with Krissy Filapovich in a gym, her body drenched with sweat. Her workout gear clinging to her tone body. She pants, drinking from a bottle of water.

Krissy Filapovich: Yes. My third match and I am getting a title shot. Is it my fault? Did I ask for it? No. Do I feel bad that you feel like you got overlooked or stepped on in this company? Yes.

She holds up a hand.

Krissy Filapovich:  Do I respect you? Yes. I respect the hell out of you Roxi. I thought you were banana balls. Walking around like you’re playing the game Clue and trying to solve a case.

Krissy smirks some, then pauses shaking her head again.

Krissy Filapovich:  To be blunt, I think you’re fake. Yeah. No I don’t think you’re really a superhero. You wanna get all pissy about that. Fine go right ahead. I don’t really give a shit. I grew up watching super man, spider man, batman, the avengers and all the actual superheroes on TV. Read the comics and watch the movies. You my dear are not a super hero. I’m going to keep saying that over and over again. I don’t care how much it pisses you off.

Krissy simply shrugs, her jar of fucks to give was empty.

Krissy Filapovich:  I’m not here to make friends. I’m here to wrestle. I’m in this match to win the Bombshell Internet Championship and if I have to become the Anti Superhero to do so, guess what little bunny foo foo I will. I have no problems getting down and dirty with you.

Krissy takes another sip from her bottle of water.

Krissy Filapovich: At the fourth annual Blaze of Glory there will be an actual Superhero winning the gold and sorry to tell you toots. It won't be you. Don't get your tights up in a bunch either. I do take you very seriously... as a wrestler. As a fighter and as a competitor. Other than that. Nope. Worry about crushing someone else's dreams. Not mine.

Krissy winks at the camera as the scene fades out to black.

ROXI JOHNSON vs KRISSY FILAPOVIC
« Reply #4 on: March 06, 2015, 09:18:05 PM »
  So, It’s been a week, I thought for a little bit there, during all this time to reflect on what I said last week may have been a little harsh. I mean, I don’t really know Krissy Filapovic that well, and while I thought that was kind of a hindrance to me, and I thought that maybe she didn’t exactly deserve this match for not winning, I can see now that… that may have been a little much. I’ve just had a emotional couple of weeks is all. I had to take my best friend to the hospital. I’m fighting a good friend of mine in a few days elsewhere, and I’ve had to prepare so much for what lies ahead for me, that this match, didn’t’ seem that important, and because who I interpreted Krissy to be, may have clouded my judgment going in.  So now, with a week to sit back and reflect, I realize that it was this kind of thinking that caused Krissy and I to draw the last time, and making the same mistake twice, would not be wise, and could leave to me again coming up short in winning a match. Not just any old match either, a championship match, and that’s not something I’m going to let happen.

Not, I will not let my guard down against Krissy Filapovic again. That’s just not going to happen, I will be fully prepared come Blast from the Past 4, because I don’t have a choice but to be. It’s been almost a year since I’ve worn any gold in SCW. I’ve had it in my grasp many times, and each time, I get tossed from the ring, the belt slips, whatever the reason, every single time since I lost the Bombshell’s title, it’s seems that one way or another, I find a way to pull defeat from the jaws of victory. Now, I’m hungry for gold. And while it’s not exactly the gold I want, it’s the gold that’s within my grasps once again. This time, I’m not going to fail. I’m going to thrive in this match. This will be the time where I show the rest of SCW, and more importantly Krissy Filapovic that I am still the hero that SCW enjoys. I may not be the hero in Krissy’s eyes, and that’s okay. I would have hoped she understood, but I guess not.

Krissy being in the military makes me think she would know, about doing the right thing, even when no one’s looking. She knows that much. See, that’s kind of how I operate. I may not always be in the spotlight when I do my thing, but you know how it goes, being a hero isn’t a job for the spotlight, or for those seeing glory or attention. Our job is thankless. Just a name, a uniform, and a job. We’re far more similar than she may think. We both know exactly what we have to do, and sometimes, we have to make difficult choices to get there, and in the end, our efforts may not be recognized at first. But we still do our jobs. Or, in Krissy’s case, DID our jobs.

And therein lies the major difference. Krissy’s done her job, she’s earned a break. She doesn’t need to put on that uniform anymore. She’s free to do whatever she wants to do with her life, and she’ll always be a hero. To me, and many others. But I don’t expect to dwell on hero status, because my job keeps presenting me with challenges. Sure, I could leave that job with my head held high, knowing I did what I had to do. But….I’m never one to leave a fight unfinished. And just like that, I’m not going to leave this match unfinished either. No Krissy will have my full attention on Sunday. But for now, I have some other business to finish up with.

I’ll see you Sunday Krissy, provided I’m able to get there. As you know, a hero’s work… is never done.

{Roxi is inside a wrestling ring, located in a local training gym in Las Vegas. She leans against the ropes, clearly waiting for someone, or something.}

Funny… she’s never been late before…

{Roxi checks her phone, showing the time as 3:21 pm. Then, as if on cue, the door swings open, and a clearly frustrated and angry Misty enters with her gym bag. She places it on the table outside the ring, and angrily blows her hair out of her face.}

Roxi – Hi.

Misty – Sorry I’m late. Things… came up.

Roxi – Oh… what kind of things?

Misty – Things Roxi. Okay?

Roxi – I didn’t say anything. I was just curious. Seeing if there was something I could do.

Misty – No. I’m fine.

Roxi – You’ve always been that way.

Misty – Yeah, I get that a lot.

Roxi – Ready to get this training done?

Misty – Yeah, I’m ready.  Thanks for doing this.

Roxi – Sure. Anytime.

{Misty climbs into the ring and Roxi gets off the ropes. The two circle in the empty ring, and fiercely lock up, jockeying for positon. Roxi executes a go-behind, trapping Misty in a waistlock. Misty pulls on Roxi’s hands to break the grip, but is unable to do so. Misty throws her arm up, and then swings it around, all the while turning her body to break the grip. She switches to a go-behind of her own, with Roxi now trapped in the waistlock. Roxi looks for an escape, trying her luck to break Misty’s grip, but is unable to as well. Roxi is able to turn her body and execute a drop toe hold to escape, stands up and backs away smiling at Misty, who returns the smile with a nod and a smirk as she stands.}

Roxi – You’re getting a lot better already.

Misty – Oh, thanks.

{Misty and Roxi circle again, and move in closer for the lock up, but Misty ducks behind Roxi and rolls her up, which Roxi kicks away almost immediately. Roxi smiles and nods at Misty as she rolls up, Misty nods herself as they both stand. Misty and Roxi circle once more, and this time they lock up. Roxi takes Misty’s left arm and wrings it, going under and tugging, enough pressure to force Misty to a knee. Roxi bars her arm and keeps it in place, applying pressure. Misty uses the pressure to her advantage and arm drags Roxi across the ring to escape. Roxi gets to a knee and nods. Misty this time doesn’t return the nod, she looks focused.}

Roxi – Tell you what Misty, at this rate you’ll be back to normal wrestling wise in no-time.

Misty – I’m trying.

{Misty and Roxi lock up one more time, and Roxi shifts to a side headlock this time. She keeps it on and Misty backs her into the ropes. She tries to throw Roxi off the headlock, but Roxi holds on tightly, refusing to let go. Misty drops to a knee but quickly is up off it, using her hands on Roxi’s wrists, fighting and turning her hips, all the while keeping Roxi’s wrist under control,  turning into a hammerlock and transitioning into a headlock of her own. Roxi drops to a knee, noticing and feeling Misty applying more pressure than usual, almost grinding the headlock in for all she’s worth.}

She’s…. she’s really trying here..

{Roxi grabs Misty’s waist, and is able to toss her backwards to escape. Roxi looks at Misty confused, as Misty is bouncing around ready to keep going.}

Misty – You ready to turn it up?

{Roxi smirks at Misty.}

Roxi – Fine by me.

{Roxi stands as Misty does as well. They lock up with far more force, and Misty takes Roxi’s arm and wrings it tightly, Roxi grimaces, and then turns her body into a hammerlock, but uses her free arm to apply a headlock, and take Misty over. Misty is careful to keep her shoulders off the mat, and kicks her leg up and wraps it around Roxi’s neck, taking her to the mat with head scissors. Roxi struggles in Misty’s strong legs, but swings her leg to turn her body, and do a head stand to pop her head out. She grabs Misty in a front headlock, with both her arms under-hooked. Misty fights to her feet, and twits her torso, and reverses back to an arm wringer, then a hammerlock. She uses her foot to push Roxi’s body away, all the while keeping her arm. Roxi grows frustrated, and single leg trips Misty to the mat, and then Roxi wraps her leg up in a leg lock. Misty grimaces in pain and then swings her leg around, and traps Roxi’s head again, but instead of a head scissors, Misty traps an arm as well for a cross-armbreaker. Roxi’s arm is trapped and she groans in pain, not wanting to yell out. She swings her legs to get to her knees, but Misty uses her legs to force Roxi back down. Misty keep wrenching the hold, but As Roxi swings up again, but Misty puts her back down again. Both girls start breathing heavy from the strain at this point. Roxi uses all her momentum to swing up again, this time getting to her feet. She grips Misty’s hands, and then picks up her off the ground, and slams her down hard to escape. Misty groans as Roxi shakes out her arm. Both women look at each other, the intensity clearly turned up. Roxi backs herself into the corner, and smiles and nods, brushing her hair out of her face. Both women are sweating from the effort they’ve put in, and both breathe heavily.}

Roxi – (Huff) I think … (huff) we’ve earned a break.

Misty – Yeah… (huff) I’d say so…

{Roxi helps Misty to her feet, and smiles. They slowly exit the ring and head over to their respective gym bags, grabbing water and taking some sips.}

Roxi – (Huff) Well… you’re lockups are excellent. (huff) You really do have a handle on chain wrestling, and… I tell you.. You’re intensity is awesome.

Misty – Well… I did learn from some good people.

{Misty pats Roxi on the back earning a smile from the superhero.}

Roxi – You keep this up, you’re a shoe-in for the Blast from the past victory.

{Misty frowns at the mention of the supercard.}

Misty – Yeah… about that….

{Roxi turns, intrigued.}

Roxi – What is it? Nervous? Don’t be, you’ll do just fine, you and Andrew are tearing it up out there.

Misty – It’s not that. It’s… it’s a lot of things actually.

Roxi – Well… there’s no better time than the present to get things off your chest.

{Misty arches an eyebrow at Roxi.}

Roxi – That’s not what I mean Misty… goodness.

Misty – I never know with you half the time, and… after that incident.

Roxi – Look, You are the person I respect more than any other person I’ve ever wrestled. Ever. I in no way will ever try to do that to you.

Misty – Thank you. It means a lot that you respect me.

Roxi – Anyway… what’s bothering you?

Misty – It’s…. hard to talk about really. I don’t want to make a big deal over it.

Roxi – You know every time you’ve had a problem, I’ve always told you, you can tell me. I’m not going to judge you Misty. No matter what. You are my friend.

Misty - We are friends. Absolutely. I’m not saying I don’t appreciate it, I’m just saying I… I don’t think I’ve ever been used to confiding in people about my problems.

Roxi – I’ve noticed.

Misty – It’s nothing personal. I’ve… just been thinking a lot lately, about my future.

Roxi – Okay… so… what’s the problem? You, me and Melly are going to do great things now that we’re a team.

{Roxi smiles at Misty, who forces one up, before frowning again.}

Misty – That’s… kinda the thing. I… uh… don’t know what I’m going to be doing after Blaze of Glory.

{Roxi frowns, her face showing almost heartbreak.}

Roxi – Wait… what are you saying?

Misty – Roxi, listen, you know I like you. You were the first person to offer to help me, no matter what happened in our past. I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do, but no matter what, you’ll always be my friend. I just… have so much on my mind, I can’t focus anymore.

Roxi – So… that’s it?

Misty – I don’t know.  I just… have a lot of thinking to do.

Roxi – Is… is that why you were late?

Misty – Yeah. Actually. Lost track of time, trying to figure things out.

{Roxi places an arm on Misty’s shoulder.}

Roxi – Look, if it means anything, I’m trying to hardest to figure out who attacked you.

Misty – I know you are, I appreciate it.

Roxi – Actually, I have been meaning to speak with O’Malley. Has… has he been around lately?

{Misty shakes her head as she drops it in sadness.}

Misty – No. He hasn’t. I think I scared him away. I’m really sad about that too.

Roxi – O’Malley is a good guy, he means well.

{Misty raises her head back up.}

Misty – I don’t know about that.

Roxi – Misty, you didn’t do anything wrong.

Misty – No Roxi, you don’t understand. You just don’t.

Roxi – We’re going to get the bottom of this mess, and hopefully, one day, all your memories will come back.

{Misty turns her head to Roxi and looks her dead in the eye.}

Misty – That’s another reason I haven’t been able to concentrate and focus.

Roxi – Don’t worry. It’ll all work out.

Misty – Yeah… after what’s happened…. I don’t think so.

{Roxi hugs Misty to comfort her.}

Roxi – Look, let’s just get back in the ring for now. Maybe a few more rounds will be beneficial for when you go against Amanda.

Misty – Ugh… that freak.

Roxi – She’s not that bad.

Misty – I don’t like her.

Roxi – Well… for a while there you didn’t like me either.

Misty – You’re different than she is. Amanda is a weirdo who does all kinds of strange things. She keeps talking about her feet and… ugh. I hate it.

Roxi – Well, why don’t we get back in the ring and get you ready so you can beat her.

{Roxi walks towards the ring and grabs the ropes and climbs up on the apron, but Misty just stands there, both hands flat on the table as she’s hunched over slightly. Roxi looks over, concerned.}

Roxi – You okay?

{Misty holds up a hand, and almost chuckles to herself.}

Misty – I’m not going to train with you anymore.

{Roxi frowns.}

Roxi – Why not?
Misty – Because there’s no need to.

Roxi – Misty, I just want to make sure…

{Misty holds up her hand and Roxi stops talking.}

Misty – Roxi… listen, there’s… some things I need to tell you.

{Roxi climbs down from the ring and slowly walks towards Misty. She stops a few feet away from Misty, who turns and looks at her, face to face. There’s a brief moment of silence, and then Misty hugs Roxi tightly. Roxi doesn’t really know what to do, but she returns the hug and pulls away slightly, looking Misty in the face again.}

Roxi – You know you can tell me anything.

Misty – I know. But… what I’m about to tell you… you may not be ready for…

<HR>
I… I don’t believe what she told me. She swore me to secrecy, because what she told me, she plans on telling everyone at Blaze of Glory. Not that she had to, Misty really knows she can trust me, and that’s all I’ve ever asked of her. I have to honor her wishes, but man… It’s like a punch in the gut. I’m still stunned. I really hope, for Misty’s sake, she finds what she’s looking for. I really want her to get closure on this whole situation.
<HR>

{Flash to Roxi and Keira, hugging as Roxi cries from the emotional confrontation they just went through. the communicator goes off again Roxi wipes her tears away, and answers.}

Roxi – Jenny?

Jenny – Get your asses back here...NOW

Keira – Why?

Jenny – I got done reading the Hamiliton's e-mail. It was sent to Heather. Good thing we got access to this...

Keira – What is it?

Jenny – Bio-Sin....is Complete. The unveiling is at 12 PM tomorrow

Roxi – We'll be there.

Jenny – Vision wants you two at Guild HQ, now!

Roxi – Right away…

Jenny – Wait

Roxi – What is it?

Jenny – It's...Level 5 from what Vision tells me. Meaning you two can't go to the apartment. You're sleeping there and will be briefed 4 hours before it's released.

Keira – Sleeping...at the HQ?

Jenny – It's no picnic for me. I got this small ass bed I got to sleep in tonight. I can't even have my wife here!

Keira – Which one?

Roxi – Could we focus here?!

Keira – Sorry

Roxi – We're on the way to HQ.

Jenny – Ok. Vision, Teleporter ready?

{the communicator goes off as Keira sighs.}

Keira – Well....the day has come

Roxi – We're going to get through this. I promise. Now... let's go.

{Keira nods as she stands and waits for Roxi. Roxi grabs her bag with her costume in it. She and Keira walk through the teleporter when it appears. They appear on the other side, inside Guild HQ. Jenny is there to greet them.}

Jenny – Good, you’re here. Look, the testing has turning into a company test. That means a lot of employees are going to be present.

Roxi – Great. More work for us.

Keira – Look, let’s just get some rest. We’ve got a big test tomorrow.

Jenny – They said to use the beds in the medical bay.

Roxi – Right. Thanks Jenny.

{Roxi and Keira walk towards the medical bay. Roxi looks around, as something seems to be bothering her. She shakes her head trying to lose the thought. Keira notices and they stop walking.}

Keira – What’s wrong?

Roxi – It’s nothing. I’m just… hoping it all goes well.

Keira – Now you’re nervous?

Roxi – A little, I guess. I just have a lot on my mind. You, tomorrow, and all those bad memories.

Keira – Like you said… together.

Roxi – Yeah. Together.

{Keira throws her arm around Roxi as the two walk into the medical bay.}

{The next day, Roxi and Keira are suited up, ready to go.}

Jenny – Okay guys… it’s time.

{Roxi looks at Keira, who looks nervous again.}

Keira – Wait! The Clan? Amy?

Roxi – Amy’s in the hospital…. There’s nothing we can do for her. The Clan never got back to me, I suspect they went back to Europe.

Keira – So… we really are alone?

Jenny – No, Force and Warp will be there. And… well… if you guys really need me, I won’t be far away.

Roxi – Jenny, you are the last, last resort.

Keira – You need to stay far, far away from there.

Jenny – I’ve fought that thing before and I beat it.

Roxi – And we have no idea what new powers this thing might have.  In addition to the radiation.

{Jenny turns on the news. The press seem to be gathering for this unveiling.}

Jenny – Oh crap…

Roxi – Jenny…. Get Force and Warp there! Get the civilians out of there! We’re on the way!

{Roxi grabs Keira by the arm to lead her out of the Guild HQ, And together they fly towards the Hamilton building.}

Grossly unprepared? Check.

Lack of Backup? Check.

Facing unreal odds? Check.

Why do I do these things again? It seems hopeless…. Exactly the odds I like.

{Landing at the Hamilton building Roxi and Keira look at the outside courtyard area, filling up with people. Three people in hazmat suits, begin to wheel the large tube out into the courtyard. Keira starts tugging at Roxi’s arm and costume, almost involuntarily.}

Keira – It’s her… it’s her…

Roxi – Keira, calm down…

Kiera – Roxi… we’ve got the stop her… She’s…. she’s so strong…

{Roxi is forced to slap Keira who shakes her head.}

Roxi – Keira, get a hold of yourself!  We’ve got to keep it together.

{Keira starts breathing deeply to calm herself. Roxi contacts Jenny on her wrist communicator.}
Roxi – Jenny? Are Force and Warp getting these people out of here? What’s the deal?

Jenny – They’re there.

Roxi – Good.

{Roxi turns to Keira, who is staring down at the tube.}

Roxi – Kiera… Kat…

{Keira looks over, still looking a little nervous.}

Keira – I….

Roxi – I love you. Let’s move.

{Roxi takes Keira by the arm and they fly down, landing in the middle of the area. The crowd gasps to see the two heroes.}

Roxi – You all need to leave here! Right now! This thing is a weapon! It can’t be controlled!

{Heather, present for the demo, shouts angrily.}

Heather – Don’t believe these costumed freaks! They’ve had it in for us for years! This is all perfectly safe!

{Inside the tube, the Bio-Sin opens her eyes, casting her gaze on Keira, her former host. The liquid surrounding the bio-weapon begins to bubble and sizzle, the weapon then then begins punching her way out of the tube. It catches the heroes’ attention.}

Roxi – Oh no….

Keira – ALL OF YOU! GET OUT OF HERE! NOW!

{Panic starts to engulf the area, the screams are heard. The tube’s glass is cracked, and breaking.}

Roxi – Force! Warp! Get them out of the area!

Heather – No! YOU’VE RUINED EVERYTHING!

{Keira turns to Roxi. Placing a hand on her shoulder.}

Roxi – Keira, what are you…

Keira – I told everyone to leave, that means you.

Roxi – Keira, we’re not having this discussion again! It’s REALLY not the time.

Keira – I know… remember when I got that piece of slime on me, and we killed it with salt water?

Roxi – So?

Keira – The slime… is in that tube.

Roxi – And she’s covered in it…. But we don’t have salt water.

Keira – The Ocean is not far from here. Find a bucket, find anything, and get some salt water.

Roxi – But….

Keira – 5 minutes is all I have. Let me do this….

{The glass breaks, and Bio-Sin is free.}

Roxi – Keira no…

Keira – There’s no time to argue anymore. Go! You’re faster!

{Roxi balls up her fists. She’s conflicted on what to do.}

Roxi – If anything happens to you, and that thing doesn’t kill you…. I will.

{Roxi flies off, headed as quickly as possible for the ocean. Keira turns as Bio-Sin stands up.}

Keira – It’s been a long time. I thought I was rid of you. I though you would finally just go away! You took so much from me! You almost cost me everything! Now… I’m going to finish this… once and for all.

{Bio Sin begins walking towards Keira, an angry look on it’s face.}

Keira – One way, or another, this ends now!

5….Minutes

{Keira charges Bio sin, her energy shield fully charged. She swings with furious punches. Rocking Bio-Sin back a few steps. Bio-Sin catches the last punch, and hit’s Keira with one of her own, sending Keira flying backwards. Keira gets up, charges her shield up again, and fires some energy blasts at Bio sin, with take off it’s arms and legs. Keira smirks, but it fades quickly when Bio-Sin simply re-generates the lost limbs! Keira charges again but Bio-Sin moves aside of the attempted punch, and nails Keira in the back of the head, sending her flying to the ground a great distance away. Keira starts getting up, but Bio-Sin rushes her and kicks her in the face, sending her flying the opposite direction. Keira lands face-down, hurting.}

5….Minutes

{Keira pulls herself up, obviously in a great deal of pain, as Bio-Sin stands ready, almost mocking her with it’s stance.}

Keira – Come…. Come  on…

{Keira charges, avoiding a big punch, and landing some of her own. Bio-Sin again avoids a big strike, and kicks Keira in the gut, and then a vicious headbutt that bloodies Keira’s forehead and hair. Bio-Sin grabs Keira’s head and knees her directly in the face and it sends her falling backwards, head over heels onto the ground, Keira lays there, almost unable to move. Bio-Sin turns around yells, almost proclaiming victory. Keira slowly begins to pull herself up, blood in her eyes, and in a great deal of pain. She can barely stand, but she’s up.}

Keira – Leaving…. So… soon?

{Keira is wobbly, bloody and beaten, but she again charges up her energy shield. Bio-Sin turns around to see her.}

Keira – Fight… me… coward…

{Bio-Sin cocks it’s head to the side, seemingly confused. It turns it’s lips it a wicked smile.}

Bio-Sin – You…. Weak…

{Keira flips off the Bio-Weapon, causing it to charge her. Keira readies herself, and launches a massive energy wave at Bio-Sin, which… it avoids! With Keira unable to defend herself, she’s easy pickings for massive strikes across the head and body. The vicious assault seems to wipe Keira out, as she turns away, out on her feet, and Bio-Sin slashes Keira across the back. Keira howls in pain as her costume tears and her back shows a massive open wound. Keira crawls into the fetal position, and tries to roll away. Bio Sin starts stalking her.

I…. I failed…. I’m so sorry…

{Bio-Sin preps the final blow, but It meets a massive kick to the face from Roxi! It stumbles back, before meeting a blow from the staff of Roxi, sending it off it’s feet. Roxi puts herself in between Keira and Bio-Sin.}

Roxi – I’ll kill you!

{Roxi looks over at Keira who lays almost lifeless, and places the bucket down next to her. She kneels down and checks Keira’s pulse.}

Roxi – No! Come on! You’d better not do this to me!

{Bio-Sin now charges them both, Roxi sees it coming, and grabs the bucket, holding it up, almost to block the attack, but then tosses the contents of the bucket at Bio-Sin! The salt water reacts with the slime coat of Bio-Sin, causing it to howl in pain, and slowly begin to melt. Roxi checks on Keira and picks up her body and flies a few feet away. Taking off her glove, she uses a blade from her pouch, and slices her own arm open, dropping some of the blood into Keira. She starts doing rescue breathes to her as well.}

Roxi – Come on…. Come on…

{Keira finally starts coughing, and groaning in pain. Roxi’s eyes light up.}

Roxi – Kat! Keira!

{Keira’s eyes flutter open, and she looks up at Roxi.}

Roxi – You’re alive!

Keira – Did…. Did we…. Win?

Roxi – Yes… yes we did.

{The roars of Bio-Sin grow silent, but it now stands up! Not completely melted, but a shell of what it once was. Roxi looks at Kiera.}

Roxi – Don’t move. I’ll take care of this.

{Roxi gently places Keira on the ground, and then charges Bio-Sin, throwing a flash bomb to stun it, and then so rapid-fire fists. Pretty much a blob at this point, Bio-Sin rocks and sways, but is then able to sneak in a blow that sends Roxi flying backwards. Roxi charges again, and goes back to punching, and using her staff, with the blob absorbs from her hands. Roxi stumbles back, only to be met with another blow that knocks her down. She’s stunned, as Bio-Sin starts coming towards her. The blob wraps a slimy extension around Roxi’s throat and starts strangling her.}

Roxi – *Cough* Gag*

{Keira, barely able to move, sees Roxi in danger. Her eyes light up, and her anger grows. Keira uses nothing but adrenaline to get up, charging her energy up… but this time… is goes beyond normal. Her hair goes from black to a lighter, a glow emerging from her entire body as she looks at her wife in trouble. Finally, she yells out. Causing a massive energy wave to catch Bio-Sin’s attention. Fully powered, Keira stares a hole through Bio-Sin.}

Keira – Let her go! You’re fight… is with me!

{With Keira causing the distraction she needed, Roxi takes a small vile from her from her pouch, and throws it at the ground the substance catches on Bio-Sin, and starts forcing the blob to solidify! Bio-Sin yells, but it’s cut off, as the blob solidifies! Roxi snaps off the extension to break away. She grabs her throat, looking at Keira}

Roxi – Now!

{Keira charges up a massive energy blast.}

Keira – Move!

{Roxi flies up  and out of the way, as Keira fires the energy blast with all her might, and Bio-Sin explodes from the impact. Every piece of it, vanishes in a brilliant white light. Keira looks at the devestation, as her energy seems to run out, as she begins falling like a rock from the sky, completely out of it. Roxi rushes in and catches her, gently floating to the ground. Roxi holds Keira upright, and she’s barely conscious.}

Roxi – Keira….

Keira – Now…. We won…

{Keira passes out, as Roxi tends to her. Roxi opens her comms with Jenny.}

Roxi – Jenny…. It’s…. It’s over. Get the police.

Jenny – Are you two okay? What happened?

Roxi – Bio-Sin is destroyed. We did it. All the civilians are safe.

Jenny – And Keira?

Roxi – She’s…. gonna need some help.

Jenny – I’ll open a teleporter, get her here as quickly as possible.

Roxi – Right…

{As Roxi scoops up Keira, Heather, who had been watching the whole thing from a distance, screams at them.}

Heather – You! You two fools! You ruined everything! You cost up BILLIONS IN DEFENSE CONTRACTS!

{Roxi turns to Heather, An uncaring scowl on her face.}

Roxi – Shut up Heather! You almost cost me my partner! You, and you’re stupid weapon could have cost BILLIONS OF LIVES!

Heather – You’ll be hearing from my lawyers!

{Roxi simply turns away from Heather, as the teleporter appears, and Roxi walks towards it with keira.}

Heather – This isn’t over!

{Roxi turns back to Heather.}

Roxi – Yes. It is. And if she doesn’t make it…. I’m coming back for you.

{Roxi walks through the teleporter as it disappears. Roxi steps through on the other side, and the medical team is ready to transport her to the medical bay. They take her from Roxi’s arms, and place her on a gurney and wheel her away. Roxi uses the wall to hold herself up exhausted mentally and physically from the battle.}

Roxi – Finally… it’s over.

{After spending the night again in the Medical bay, Roxi and Keira are patched up, and are able to leave after they’re checked out. Keira still needs a little assistance to get around.}

Roxi – Are you going to be okay?

Keira – If I wasn’t dead already, I won’t be from this.

Roxi – Keira, you should still be in the medical bay with the beating you took.

Keira – I said I was fine. I passed all the tests. Just… still in a little pain is all.

Roxi – I’m just worried.

Keira – As long as you’re okay, that’s all that matters to me.

Roxi – Speaking of which…. What… happened back there?

Keira – I … I don’t know. I just saw you there, and…. Something just… snapped. Must have been a rush of emotions to force me to react that way.

Roxi – Well… I’ll try not to get myself almost killed anymore…

Keira – Please do.

Roxi – So… ready to go home?

Keira – Actually, I’d like to go to the beach…

Roxi – I… alright… I can take you…

Keira – No… I need to go… myself…

{Keira eases her weight off of Roxi’s shoulder, as they exit the Guild HQ.}

Keira – I’ll see you at home.

{Keira flies away, slowly, gingerly, and head towards the beach. Roxi reluctantly lets her. As Keira flies towards the beach. She soon lands, looking out at the ocean waves crashing.}

Keira – It’s over…. No more Sin.

{Keira lets out a sigh of relief, continuing to stare out at the ocean…}

<HR>

I’ve overcome many obstacles in my life, Krissy, as I’m sure you have. And while I respect you as a person, and as a wrestler, and as a war hero, at Blaze of Glory, that's what you are to me. An obstacle. One that must be overcome if I am to be champion. No, I don't expect a walk in the park, I don't expect you to just concede this match to me, I expect a fight, and I expect a fight that will test me once again. But like always, I will come through on this test. I will pass it, because of what I know I can do.

That bombshell's Internet championship was so close last time, and now, it's my main focus. I'm going to beat you Krissy, and become the champion. I don't say that because I think less of you as a wrestler, I say that because it's my focus right now. With everything clear and you, right front and center, until Sunday, you will consume my every training session, every yoga session, every phase of my preparation is focused on beating you. That's how seriously I've been taking this match, no more holding it back, because if I want gold, I have to beat you.

I need to be a champion again. It’s been WAY too long, and as patronizing at it may sound, I’m not about to let you, an upstart by SCW standards, just come in and snatch another victory from me. No, not this time. This time, I’m taking home that Internet championship, and I’m showing SCW and the rest of the wrestling world, that I haven’t lost a step, I haven’t let my guard down, nor am I about to break. I’m stronger than ever before now, because I know who I am, and what I’m capable of. I have no doubt that you will be a champion one day Krissy if you give me the match I’m expecting.

But at Blaze of Glory, while you will obviously be good, I will be better.

I told you before we'd tear the house down, and putting us in the opener sets the tone for the rest of the night. It's match that not many will be able to follow, it will be the match everyone remembers between two heroes.

But, in this case, the SUPERHERO will beat the WAR HERO.

Sorry to break it like that, but that’s the way it’s going to be.

I’ll see you out there Krissy. Good luck.

MUCH NEEDED TRAINING
on camera

The scene opens at an unknown gym in Copenhagen, Denmark. Krissy and her trainer Shayne Edwards are in an MMA Cage. Both women are sweaty, in work out gear that is clinging to their very tone bodies. Shayne reaches up to adjust her ponytail as Krissy tucks some loose strands of hair out of her eyes. Shayne speaks with the same southern accent that Krissy has, but Shayne’s is deeper and more noticeable.

Shayne Edwards: A for real super hero? Or like a pretend one?

Shayne asks her pupil slash friend, reaching down and grabbing a bottle of water before she unscrews the cap to take a swig of the water.

Krissy Filapovich: Pretend. I guess. Like she investigates stuff. Thinks she makes changes in her community. But her tweets...

Krissy lets out of a low whistle, shaking her head with a chuckle.

Krissy Filapovich: ...not what you would expect from someone who would be a Role Model or Champion you know? She talks about spanking people. Getting booty rubs, spreading her love around. Not stuff you would want your kids to look up to. Ya know? If she were an actual super hero.

Shayne arches a brow and puts the cap back on her water bottle, putting a hand on her hip.

Shayne Edwards: Are you serious?

Krissy nods her head before she gets into a boxing stance, motioning for Shayne to come at her. Shayne lets out a low whistle of her own before she smirk and spears Krissy, into the cage. Krissy wasn’t expecting that. Shayne grabs Krissy and tosses her halfway across the cage. Krissy rolls with it and gets to her feet. Shayne comes back at her, Krissy grabs at Shayne, rolling back to the mat and pinning her to the mat putting her in an armbar ala Ronda Rounsey. Shayne doesn’t give up for about 23 seconds before she taps Krissy’s arm who releases her and gets to her feet.

Shayne Edwards: You’re getting quicker. Not bad. You need to lock that in better. Tighter. Think about what they taught us in the Corps. You don’t have time to thinks when you’re in combat. All you can do is react. Go by instinct. That’s how it’s gonna be when you take on Roxi.

Krissy nods, panting, she grabs her own bottle and lets out a soft sigh. The cage opens up and in steps a well built cowboy looking guy who looks like he definitely ate his wheaties, wrangled with a few bulls and one before slamming back some shots of jack. He was rather hot. He wore a tight black tee shirt, cowboy cut wranglers and cowboy boots. The whole nine. Shayne smiles and walks over to him, hugging him.

Krissy Filapovich: Hey baby. How you enjoying Copenhagen?

The guy smirks, speaking with a deep southern accent.

Cowboy: It’s not at all what I expected. How is training goin? Ya’ll been at this for about six hours, ya know that, right?

Shayne smirks some.

Shayne Edwards: Are you serious?

Krissy Filapovich: Damn, sorry Jake. You guys are supposed to be enjoying yourselves. I’ll let you two go.

Shayne winks at Krissy and slips out of the cage. They both watch her scurry off.

Shayne Edwards: I’ll just be a sec, have to go grab my stuff.

The cowboy; now known as Jake, walks over to Krissy and pulls something out of his pocket. It’s a little black box with a diamond engagement ring in it. Krissy’s eyes widen.

Krissy Filapovich: Oh wow. Jake Bohnny, are you planning on doing what I think you are?

He smiles real big, his pearly whites showing to his blonde friend. He nods, snapping the box closed and putting the box away.

Jake Bohnny: Yeah, just not here. Gonna wait until we get back home in Fort Worth to do it. You know Shayne better than anyone. Do you think she’ll like it?

Krissy Filapovich: Jake, she’ll love it. You guys have been together for about 2 or 3 years now. I can’t think of two people that I know who are more perfect for eachother. I am so excited for you guys.

She smiles to him, excited. He reaches over and gently pats her on the shoulder.

Jake Bohnny: Thanks Kris. Really. I’ll see you at the show. Alright?

She nods a big old smile on her face, genuinely happy for her two friends. He exits the cage.

Krissy Filapovich: Have fun!

Jake Bohnny: You’ve got this Kris. We all have faith in you.

He turns around, calling back to the cage as he walks backwards.

Krissy Filapovich: Thanks… It means a lot to me.

She chuckles some and then takes a deep breath. He gives her a wave and turns around walks out of the gym. She turns around and starts to gather stuff up as the scene fades out to black.

NOT A HERO
on camera

The scene opens with Krissy Filapovich walking along the streets of Copenhagen. Yes, she was dressed warmly for the weather. But wasn’t bundled up because she has dealt with far worse.

Krissy Filapovich: The superhero is gonna beat the war hero?

She can’t help but bust out laughing.

Krissy Filapovich:  Are you serious? You’re gonna beat the war hero? No, buttercup. That’s not how it’s gonna go down. Not at all. You are going to walk away from this match injured. No doubt about that. I am bringing my all with me. You may have plans to walk away with gold again, but you want to know something?

Krissy scoffs, a side to the blonde no one but Alex has really seen before.

Krissy Filapovich: Roxi, you amuse me. Really you do. You hunger for gold because you want it again. It’s been so long since you’ve had it. Please. Don’t start. Just save it. Really.

She pauses before crossing an intersection and continuing on her way.

Krissy Filapovich:  You are nothing but a dumb bitch. One, my name is Filapovich. F-I-L-A-P-O-V-I-C-H. There is an H at the end. No worries they will get it right when they put it on my title. So whether you get it right is irrelevant.

She enters the lobby of the hotel she is staying at with Alex.

Krissy Filapovich:  Two, I don’t give a fuck if you’ve let your guard down or not. Ever. This is my time. I’ve never held a title. Ever. Do you honestly think I am going to let a chance like this slip through my fingers so easily? Are you out of your fucking mind? Seriously?

Krissy then claps her hands together and then gestures to her head.

Krissy Filapovich:  Oh wait.

She snaps her fingers.

Krissy Filapovich:  Of course you are because you think you’re a superhero. Roxi. You and your little band of whatever the fuck you're delusional friends are need to stop taking whatever drugs you are taking. It’s messing with your heads. Focus on working out. Not just sparring. Go for a run. Do pilates. Yoga. Something aside from acting like a bunch of children trying to catch bad guys that don’t exist. Or better yet. Become police officers because after our match at Blaze of Glory you are going to need a back up plan. Not saying you’ll be so injured you can’t work, but you’ll be the laughing stalk of Sin City Wrestling. I don’t care how noble you think your cause is, most of us think and know that you are pretty fucking delusional.

Krissy smirks and decides to use the stairs instead of the elevators to get up to their room.

Krissy Filapovich:  I mean hey it’s great that you have an imagination and what not. Kudos to you. Really. But we all know you’re not that naive or innocent. We’ve all seen you’re twitter.

Krissy reaches their floor and makes her way to their room.

Krissy Filapovich:  I mean this is for the SCW Bombshell Internet Championship is it not? How could you not expect me to bring up the internet? Let’s take a look at some of your tweets, shall we?

She uses her key card to enter their room, shutting the door behind her. She opens her laptop and turns it on. She takes off her jacket as the laptop comes to life, connecting to the Hotel’s WiFi. Krissy smirks and opens up her browser.  She gestures towards the screen.

Krissy Filapovich:  Well what do we have here… you want to spank someone for teasing you with their pictures. I’m sure you’re wife must love that. But then from what I have seen I am guessing you two have an open relationship.

Krissy sighs and shakes her head.

Krissy Filapovich:  That is what you put out there on the Internet. That is what you want to be known as. That is not what a superhero does Roxi. That is not what a role model does. No parent wants their child looking up to someone like that. No company wants their Bombshell Internet Champion doing that.

Krissy stands up straight.

Krissy Filapovich: Now look at me.

She slowly turns around showing off her physique. She stop turning around and puts her hands on her hips, standing there confidently.

Krissy Filapovich: I am the perfect specimen of what a Champion looks like and how one acts.

She simply shrugs her shoulders.

Krissy Filapovich: You be sure you keep that in mind when I defeat you on Sunday and win my very first championship belt making myself the next SCW Bombshell Internet Champion.

Krissy winks to the camera as the scene fades out to black.
