OOC: This WAS to be my 2nd rp, but alas, I forgot about the deadline being last night. So, this is posted will all match relevance taken out, just so there's no errors in continuity, for those of you following the story arc.
Roxi - I'm in.
[ Back to the Casino, where Roxi, under the cover of her own name, has made an appearance. ]
Roxi - What now?
[ She speaks discreetly with a transmitter in her ear. Vision is on the other end. ]
Vision Try to make contact with Childress.
Roxi - How exactly am I supposed to do that?
[ She is stopped by a fan. ]
Fan - Oh, my god, Roxi Johnson!
Roxi - Hey!
Fan - Wow, what luck meeting you here.
Roxi - I try to get out a lot.
Fan - Can...can I have your autograph?
Roxi - Sure.
Fan - Wow, thanks, you're the best.
Roxi - I try.
[ She smiles to herself as she signs the autograph and the fan walks away. ]
Vision Roxi?
Roxi - What?
Vision Get over yourself, and focus please.
Roxi - Hey, it's nice, a fan recognized me.
Vision Keep your head out of the clouds.
Roxi - Whatever.
Vision Any sign of Blood Priest or Sister Shadow?
Roxi - Not yet, I'll keep looking.
[ She walks around the party, meeting fans, signing autographs, taking pictures. ]
Man, This is a sweet gig. I gotta go undercover more often.
Vision Anything?
[ Her eyes dart around the room. ]
Roxi - I got nothing. Hey! Nachos!
Vision Roxi!
Roxi - There's nothing. No Priest, no Shadow, no Childress....Wait.
Vision What?
Roxi - All of them came in here, and none are here now.
Vision Bad sign, I'd say.
Roxi - Yeah.
Vision Just...try to make contact with Childress, and lure him away from everyone, Commando will take it from there.

Vision What?

[ A long silence.

[ She continues to make her way through the people. Finally...

Roxi - I found them.
Vision You did?
Roxi - Yeah, all three. Together.

Evan Childress - Well, hello.
Roxi - Uh, hey Mr. Childress.
Evan Childress - I couldn't help notice you from across the room, and, I must say you ...are stunning.

Evan Childress - Well, enjoy your night.

Evan Childress - Good-bye.
[ He walks away. ]
Roxi - Whew.
Vision Roxi?
Roxi - Yeah?
Vision You...need to hold his attention. Get him away.
Roxi - Priest and Shadow are...shadowing him.
Vision Gotta try.
Roxi - Ugh.
Why does this always happen. I really don't want to do this. Every female character in every story has this moment. It's so stupid. I...Really don't want to do this.
Vision Roxi?
Roxi - Fine.
[ Roxi disappears into the bathroom. And returns moments later.]
This...better...work.
[ She finds Childress again, and hands him something. ]
Evan Childress - What's...
[ He unfolds it, in his hands...her panties.
Roxi - Yeah. Maybe, we could...go somewhere...private.
[ He smirks at her. ]
Evan Childress - Sure. My hotel room.
Roxi - Sounds like a plan.
[ He takes her arm, and they leave together. ]

[ Moments later, they're alone in the hotel room. ]
Evan Childress - Well now, How about that dress hits the ground too?

[ She enters the bathroom ]
Roxi - Vision, I'm alone with Childress. Alert Commando. Floor 3, room 24F
Vision I'm on it.
Roxi - Thank you.
Vision What now?
Roxi - ugh...I...gotta stall him.
Evan Childress - Come on out, baby.

[ She exits the bathroom.
Evan Childress - There she is.

[ She gets about 30 seconds into the dance, when Commando finally appears. He takes Childress out the window, and he screams attract Shadow and Priest. They bust into the room.
Roxi - Somebody...took him!
[Priest and Shadow exit the window and climb the nearby fire escape. Leaving Roxi time to run and change.
That, almost got weird, Commando better thank me when this is over.
[ Now clad in her costume, she climbs the fire escape and joins Commando, staring down Priest and Shadow.
Roxi - Hey, is this a private party? Or can any superhero join?
Priest - You! Again?!
Roxi - Aww, you remembered me. How sweet.
Priest - I took your mask the last time, this time, I will take you whole head!
Roxi - What are you gonna do this time? Eat your spinich?
Priest - Shut up! Sister Shadow, get her!
Sister Shadow With pleasure, comrade.
Roxi - Comrade? Lady, you need to hang out with a better crowd.
Sister Shadow I suppose you...know the crowd good, yes?!
Roxi - Wha?

Roxi - The...the double down. Famous heart attack enducing...nevermind, fight time!
[ Shadow lunges but Roxi leaps out of the way, Priest tries to go for her mask again, but she blocks, kicks him in the face, and throws him into Shadow. Priest looks to be out cold.
Sister Shadow How, you dare!
Roxi - Whew. No more sermons. And I think you mean...how dare you!
Sister Shadow Beat you, I will.
Roxi - Okay, now you're just yodaing it up.
Sister Shadow I hate you.
Roxi - Ah, good old fashioned insults. Good stuff. I like the effort.
[ Shadow swings again, but again misses, now she pulls out a knife. She swings it wildly, but Roxi sidesteps it, then blocks with her staff..
Roxi - It's okay young padawan. You will learn with time.
[ They standoff again.
Sister Shadow There will come when you beg for mercy.
Roxi - Pfft. Who taught you have to knife fight, Raphael?
Sister Shadow What?
Roxi - The Ninja Tur- forget it.
[ Priest gets up, and holds Shadow back.
Priest No! It's too later, He's gone.
Sister Shadow I want to fight!
Roxi - Me too.
Priest Another time, then, you will feel our power, and that mask will be mine, forever.
Roxi - I'll be here. Ya'll come back now, ya hear?!
[ With that, Priest and Shadow flee the rooftop. ]
Hope it wasn't something I said.
[Fade to Roxi on the rooftop with Herman again.
Roxi - Well Herman, another mission accomplished. Childress is safely in Guild custody, but lord knows what Commando will do to him. And you're truly once again bravely fought the odds and come out victorious.
[ She stares at Herman ]
Roxi - I know, I know. It's nothing. But, I'm more concerned with Sonja now. I think. I could barely understand a word. But what I did hear, was commie! And you know how we feel about commie's around here!
[ A pause ]
Roxi - Exactly! We hate 'em. Wow, I sound so terrible right now. Okay, Russians aren't so bad. They did give us vodka right? No terrible people have ever given something so great.
[ She stares at Herman ]
Roxi - Okay, so the Nazi's gave us Volkswagon. It's not like that's a great car right? Still, my point stands.
[ She looks around, nodding to herself. ]
Roxi - Yeap, things are looking up Herman, I'll squash that one woman commie resistance, and beat up Priest again, no sweat.
[ She looks back at Herman's smiling face. ]
Roxi - Glad to see you're still confident in me. It's why I like you Herman. Wait...
[ She stares at Herman ]
Roxi - You're laughing at me because I'm not wearing any underwear right now, aren't you?
[ She stares at Herman ]
Roxi - Lair! Aw, what's the use, I can't stay mad at you. But, I gotta run, I can't run around without panties forever, I'll catch cold.
[ She blows a kiss to Herman and skips away. ]
