Prologue
So Laura had indeed come away from New Year Rising with the tag titles after she pinned Necra for the win however it didn’t come without a price. That being her partner on the evening Trish Newborn was hurt in fact she suffered a broken leg and this had Laura worried about losing the belts but as it turned out it Laura wasn’t losing her title she was told to get a new partner and she did the woman she trusted as well as loved Amanda Cortez. So now that was sorted she could focus on this tournament she had been placed in. So the question was just how far could she and her partner Max Cross go?

Scene 1 – Talking tactics

The screen came up to show Max Burke and Trevor Irons better known as the Young Lions. The pair were talking among themselves in their ring gear as the camera came in but every few moments they looked around like they were waiting for someone. Just then a voice was heard over the pair.

Ok that them.

The voice belong to one half of the current SCW bombshell tag champions The Tattooed Beauty Laura Jackson. She was in her ring gear and she had her newly won title sitting on her shoulder.

Laura Jackson
Come on Mandy let go meet our partners!

NO

The camera cut to Laura looking at her tag partner / girlfriend Amanda Cortez. The other half of the team known as the Tattooed Goddess was in her ring gear but she had her arms folded and the kind of look on her face that was like a five year old being told that they couldn’t have candy.

Laura Jackson
Come on Mandy they won’t bite!

Amanda Cortez
I don’t care this whole thing is so stupid! I mean why should I team with some man for something I couldn’t give a shit about.

Laura then walked over to Amanda as she finished but as she did it looked like she wasn’t happy.

Laura Jackson
Mandy you are going to do this for a couple of reasons! The first being we are paying our respect to those who have gone before us and have allowed us to take part in this business. I also happen to be someone who has a lot of respect for Mildred Burke to me she was a woman who I respect the hell out of since she too didn’t take no crap. Secondary if we don’t take part in this tournament we could lose our tag title and so help me if your attitude cost us the belt then I promise you now their will punishment for you. No luxuries for one months and that means no bike, no foot rubs, no photo-shoots and most of all no chocolate pudding.

Mandy went white as she had that. Laura knew it was probably extreme to threaten her in that way but Laura knew that it was the best way for her to agree to do this when Mandy was being stubborn. Mandy groaned and unfolded her arms at that.

Amanda Cortez
Fine I do it Laura.

Laura smiled as she heard her as she did this.

Laura Jackson
I know you would see things my way Mandy come on let go!

With that the pair walked over to the Young Lions who saw the pair walking over to them. She spoke to the guy on the left of the pair.

Laura Jackson
Are you Max?

The guy nodded and Laura let out a pleased sigh at that before shaking Max’s hand.

Max Burke
Yeah you must be Laura I remember your voice from talking on the phone to you. This is my tag partner Trevor Irons.

Laura lent over and shook Trevor hands. After Laura did this she stepped back.

Laura Jackson
And this is Amanda say hello Amanda.

Amanda didn’t move so Laura elbowed her in the ribs Amanda let out a cry before she shook the pair hands. As Amanda returned to her sulk Trevor looked at her.

Trevor Irons
Well looks like we are teaming up together Amanda why don’t we talk about our plans over some pudding!

Amanda peaked up as he said that.

Amanda Cortez
Did you say pudding?

Trevor nodded at her as she looked at them.

Trevor Irons
Do you like pudding?

Amanda nodded excitedly at Trevor as she walked over him

Amanda Cortez
Me like pudding let’s go!

With that Amanda grabbed Trevor and pulled him along clearly excited about it. As she did this Laura had to laugh and then she turned to Max.
Laura Jackson
Thanks for getting Trevor to agree to do that Mandy is a nice person it just sometimes it takes a lot of work for someone to trust her.

Max Burke
Not a problem she seems like she is fun.

Laura Jackson
You know what she can be hard work but at the end of the day I wouldn’t trade her for the world. So anyway now we are alone we better talk tactics I mean we are going to work on things make sure we are ready.

Max Burke
Well we and Trevor have a moved called pounce! Basically I lift up the opponent and Trevor hits a tornado DDT do you think that you could do it?

Laura Jackson
Sure I can do that if you think you can do a move for me?

Max Burke
Sure what is it?

Laura Jackson
Me and Mandy call it the Bow Down basically I sweep the person leg out from under them and you take them down with a jumping spinning heel kick you ok with that?

Max nodded at her listening to her request.

Max Burke
Yeah I can listen also don’t worry about me walking out on you or something like that I mean I want to win this whole thing!

Laura nodded at him and smiled.

Laura Jackson
Well I feel the same way so don’t worry about me doing it either so yeah. I will also tell you if you are in the ring with Necra don’t take her lightly she is like Shang Tsang in Mortal Kombat it feels like she has other people in her body and you are taking on more than one  person. So yeah watch her

Max Burke
Same go with Tom just be careful if you are in the ring with him as he is good! So you want to go somewhere and get warmed up.

Laura Jackson
I’m going to the basement to warm up you can come too if you want.

With that the pair left together could this team be tournament winners? Only time would say but for now they were getting along it seemed.
