This week a match that Matthew has been waiting for will finally happen as Matthew takes on Nick Jones in a singles match, Nick has claimed that despite all evidence to the contrary Matthew’s claims that Nick cheated to win are fraudulent, can Matthew win?
Matthew’s hotel room, San Jose, California
December 14, 2012, 6:00pm
“Matthew, the cameracrew are here.” Marty called out and I turned to him with a frown on my face. “And yes, it’s the SCW cameracrew!”
“Good, at least your good for something.” I muttered under my breath and Marty let the SCW Cameracrew in without hesitation. “It’s a good thing you got here when you did, my moron off an opponent needs to be put in his place.”
“Normally I’d object to you calling your opponent a moron but in this case I’ll side with you.” Marty said as he shook his head. “He was kissing his own ass so much you’d think he practiced Yoga!”
“That statement is so hypocritical you may as well change your name to Mark Ward.” I grunted in annoyance as the cameracrew took up their positions. “Marty at this point I’d shoo you out of the room but I know you want to address Nick as well.”
“Say no more.” Marty said before walking over to me and sitting down next to me. “What about the Skar Brothers?”
“They can stay.” I responded and the brothers shrugged and resumed what they were doing, namely leaning against the wall. “Nick Jones, you are a bloody idiot, you are so moronic that I’m surprised that you’re not running around wearing a helmet normally worn my mentally challenged people, why the bloody hell haven’t you been committed yet!?”
In short, I don’t think Nick is very intelligent.
“YOU ARE SAYING THAT THERE WAS NO BLOODY CONTROVERSY IN OUR LAST MATCH?! Anyone with half a brain cell who watched that match…..oh wait, you have half a brain-cell and yet you can’t process that information, anyone who is smarter than Nick Jones knows that you can’t beat me without the assistance of those idiots you drag around and yet you claim that I’m making excuses.”
Sometimes I wonder why I signed up for this company.
“If anyone is making excuses it’s you! You know you can’t beat me, everyone knows that if it weren’t for those idiots you drag around then Spike Staggs wouldn’t be the current holder of the SCW World Heavyweight Championship on account of the fact that it would be around my waist because I won it! But no, you proved yourself once again to be the most pathetic champion in SCW History! And yes that includes Hawkes!”
“Matthew, may I say my piece?” Marty asked and I frowned.
“Fine, try not to make an idiot out of yourself for once.” I responded before standing up and walking off camera, Marty ignored my last comment and frowned.
“I don’t normally do this, at all, in fact I normally take a backseat to Matthew and let him handle this promo business, but I have to side with Matthew because of the truly idiotic nature off Nick’s comments, for starters I never contacted the Skar Brothers, Matthew did, and second if you think for one second that you beat Matthew fair and square you are a delusional moron!”
Marty said before shaking his head.
“Not only that but as far as I’m concerned you should’ve retired long ago, every time you step in front of the camera for a promo you make an idiot out of yourself, every time you step into the ring and fight you have to rely on wrestling’s answer to Dumb and Dumber in order to help you win and nine times out of ten they can’t even do a good job of that! I’m done for now and I’m going to let my client take over for the rest of the promo!”
Good, back to business, I sat back down next to Marty who leaned back in his chair obviously happy with himself.
“You know what? I have an ultimatum for Nick Jones; give your cronies the night off, and tell Mark to stay out of your business, say the same thing to your stablemates whilst you’re at it, why? It’s simple, because if you can beat me without any interference or beat me cleanly for that matter, I will stop my crusade against Mark Ward’s stable.”
Yes, you heard me correctly.
“I will focus entirely on winning the SCW Heavyweight Title from Spike Staggs, hell I may go back to the Roulette Division because I’m pretty bloody sure that even Marty can beat the current champion! Do you get the point Nick? If you can beat me fairly than you will eliminate the biggest threat to Mark Ward’s stable in SCW, there is no bluff for you to call, I am not lying, I am many things and a man off my word is one of them!”
But off course, Nick Jones is too much of a moron for that to happen.
“Does that mean that I expect you to do that? If I did then I wouldn’t have spent the opening lines of this promo pointing out how much of an idiot you are! Instead you will try to beat me with the assistance of your cronies and I will continue my crusade, who knows? Maybe Mark Ward will realize how big a mistake he’s made aligning himself with Nick Jones in the first place and fire you from his stable and the company!”
And I also doubt that that will happen.
“And should your cronies try anything, the Skar Brothers will deal with them as easily as they dealt with you last week on Climax Control.” I said as the brothers smirked cockily before cracking their fists. “You know how strong they are and you know what they are capable off, if your cronies where smart, well for starters they would’ve stopped hanging out with you long ago, then they wouldn’t even attempt to assist you in this match!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“Nick, this match will end the way our first match should’ve ended, with me getting the three count and winning the match, it’s a pity that you lost the SCW Heavyweight Championship because if you still held it and the title was on the line then I would’ve been able to rectify all the wrongs that happened in our original match, my name is “Prime Time” Matthew Kennedy and Nick Jones’s cancelation is long overdue.”
I turned to my laptop as the scene fades.
