The scene opens up with Justin Smith standing in outside the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs, Colorado to enjoy the park. Before he looks around, he decides to call his friend and former trainer Casey Williams
Justin-Hey Casey, looks like I am in a Pin the Jackass gauntlet match, whatever that means, for the Roulette championship, against reigning champion Logan Hunter, “Bulldog” Bill Barnhart and some random entrant. What do you think my chances are?
Casey-I think you have as much a chance in that style match as anyone else, as it’s a matter of who can do what it takes to “pin the jackass”!
Justin-I am not too sure, as I haven’t had much luck against Bill, and lost to Logan in his debut match, and have no idea who this mystery entrant is.
Casey-I know, and I should expect you to be confident in yourself despite your record.
Justin-Yeah, and I will do my best to win the match, regardless of what needs to be done.
Casey-I’ll send Dying Breed and Hitamashii to train with you.
Justin nods and waves off the cameraman, asking him to leave so Justin can continue his conversation as the scene fades to black.
The next day, Justin is seen at his hotel room, getting ready to go to the gym to meet up with Dying Breed and Hitamashii. He arrives at the gym to see Dying Breed members Andrew Garcia and Ivan Darrell already there sparring with each other and Hitamashii.
Andrew-You’re late!
Justin-Sorry, got lost and stuck in traffic.
Ivan-Let’s work on some different techniques.
Justin-Let’s do this!!![/b]
Andrew-At least your skill set can hopefully shine in this “Pin the Jackass” match!
Justin-How so?
Ivan-You are known for your power and speed, right?
Justin-Yes.
Andrew-Let us see how we can use that to your advantage in this match, given some of the guys are more agile than you. Let’s see you do a frog splash.
Both Justin and Ivan get into position and Justin attempts the frog splash onto Ivan.
Andrew-That’s good. Now I want to see you try it again.
Justin and Ivan get into position again and Justin hits the frog splash with more ease than the first time.
Andrew-Good job!
Dying Breed and Hitamashii continue working with Justin as the scene fades to black.
Later that night, Justin is seen at the Street Car 520 for dinner, but turns to the camera with an evil look in his eyes to call out his opponents in Logan Hunter, “Bulldog” Bill Barnhart and the mystery opponent.
Justin- Logan, you know what would be awesome and the best way for me to avenge my loss from your debut match? Defeating you and taking that Roulette championship from you. You can disregard me all you like, but I am going to cause the upset of the century when I am victorious in this match and become the true Roulette Champion. There is nothing you can say that hasn’t already been said, and I am not afraid of you, and since I have already faced you before, I know what is coming, so I can prepare for anything from you. Why do you think I am adding more moves to my move set? To keep everybody guessing, as they won’t know what to expect from me.
Justin smiles as he orders the Sticky Bear as his drink, which has Barenjager honey whiskey, lemon, ginger beer and a blueberry simple syrup as he turns to call out “Bulldog” Bill Barnhart next.
Justin-Bill, we meet again. I know what you’re capable of more than everyone else in this match, as I have faced you before, and like I said to Logan, I know you better than you know yourself, and am not afraid of what you can do. I can read you like a book and am willing to got do whatever it takes to become roulette champion. I don’t think you’re ready to regain the roulette champion. You are a shell of the man you once were, especially from the stories that Casey Williams used to tell when I was training with him. I lost respect for you after facing you because you were not the man he made you up to be.
Justin cackles and then he orders the seared tenderloin, which comes with creamy potatoes, squash and zucchini, a compound butter and Demi glace for his entree. He turns his attention now to the mystery opponent in the match.
Justin-Mystery entrant, you may be the biggest threat in this match, or you could be someone like The Troll, and then it becomes a much easier match for everyone else involved. I am not going to speculate who you are, but I am going to do whatever it takes to win the Roulette championship, and there is nothing nobody can do about it. I know that either you will be a big threat in this match, or the weakest link. There is no middle ground. When all is said and done, I hope to be the one who runs the gauntlet and comes out the other side the new Roulette Champion, despite all odds. Everyone looks at me as the weakest link in this match, and I will do everything in my power to prove them wrong, and what better way than win this match and claim my first title.
The scene fades to black with Justin hums his theme song “Madness” after ordering the caramel churros for dessert and enjoys the rest of his night in Colorado Springs.
