I’m just human!
« on: April 11, 2025, 01:19:20 PM »
The scene opens up with Justin Smith standing in outside the KV-Park við Frostaskjól in Reykjavík, Iceland to watch some football, more commonly known in America as soccer. He stops before going to ask for tickets for the KV game to call his friend and former trainer Casey Williams.

Justin-Hey Casey, looks like my opponent for the first round of the Blast From the Past Tournament is a returning Travis Levitt. What do you think my chances are?

Casey-Travis is not a bad wrestler, but he is coming off from time away from SCW, and I dunno what kind of ring rust he may have. I don’t wanna say you have no shot in beating him, but there is a chance you can win if he has ring rust!

Justin-I am aware, I’m not worried though, I am going to do whatever it takes to win.

Casey-I know, and I should expect you to be confident in yourself despite your record.

Justin-Yeah, and I will do my best to advance to the next round of the tournament.

Casey-I’ll send Dying Breed to train with you.

Justin-What, no Hitamashii?

Casey-Since he is in the tournament this year too, and can face you any time should you both advance, I don’t want you guys training together right now.

Justin nods and waves off the cameraman, asking him to leave so Justin can continue his conversation as the scene fades to black.

The next day, Justin is seen at his hotel room, getting ready to go to the gym to meet up with Dying Breed. He arrives at the gym to see Dying Breed members Andrew Garcia and Ivan Darrell already there sparring with each other.

Andrew-You’re late!

Justin-Sorry, got lost and stuck in traffic.

Ivan-Let’s work on some mat based techniques.

Justin-I’m not a technical type wrestler! I’m a brawler!!![/b]

Andrew-I know, but in order to catch Travis off guard, we want to broaden your skills a little bit, because he’ll be expecting the brawling from you!

Justin-Good point!

Justin climbs into the ring and Ivan then walks over in front of Justin once he gets to the middle of the ring.

Ivan-Now hit me with a German suplex!

Justin hits Ivan with a German suplex and looks confident with himself.

Andrew-Good, good! Only thing I would suggest is when you go to hit it, have your legs spread out a little more, so you have a little bit better fluid movement. Try it again.

Both Justin and Ivan get into position and Justin does it again, taking Andrew’s advice. Justin looks more confident after the 2nd suplex.

Andrew-That’s more like it. Now I want to see a belly to belly suplex. Keep your legs spread like you did with the German suplex.

Justin and Ivan get into position and Justin hits a belly to belly suplex with ease.

Andrew-Good job!

Dying Breed continue working with Justin as the scene fades to black.

Later that night, Justin is seen at a local street cart to get some smoked lamb, but turns to the camera with an evil look in his eyes to call out his opponent Travis Levitt.

Justin-Travis, I know you’re a lot like me inside the ring, very intense, and very no nonsense. I also know you haven’t been seen here in SCW in a while, and that may come to bite you in the butt.  Just know that I am prepared for anything you have to throw my way.  I think we may throw a banger of a match and surprise a lot of people.  I look forward to dominating you in ways nobody would have expected.  You should be prepared for a loss by me, and then you can go back to whatever hole you crawled out of while I advance to the second round of the Blast From the Past Tournament and one step closer to that title opportunity.  There is nothing I will not do to achieve success here in SCW and I will not let you stop me from achieving my goals.

The scene fades to black with Justin hums his theme song “Madness” as he gets his smoked lamb and enjoys it while sightseeing.
