While the result was controversial thanks to the interference by Bombshell Roulette Champion Victoria Lyons? The results were in the history books: Cassie had defeated Alexandra Callaway to earn her spot in the Elimination Chamber Match at Blaze of Glory! And over the next few weeks the slots would be filled: Mercedes Vargas won the very first qualifier over Crystal Zdunich, Bobbie Dahl defeated Prudence Pierce to qualify, Kayla Richards and Andrea Hernandez were added to the fray after it was made a World Bombshell Championship Match and Candy was added after she won her return match over Ms. Manners.
However, Bobbie subsequently pulled out of the match when it was revealed that she was pregnant meaning that there was still another slot in the match to be filled! And to make things interesting? The bosses had booked a Strange Bedfellows Tag Team Match for the penultimate Climax Control of the cycle, in one corner? The World Bombshell Champion Andrea Hernandez and former World Bombshell Champion and Mixed Tag Team Champion Kayla Richards, in the other? Cassie and 2x Hall of Famer and former champion Mercedes Vargas! Can Cassie score the upset?

If you had told me, following my loss to Crystal at Inception VI, that I’d follow that up by challenging for the World Bombshell Championship at Blaze of Glory? I’d probably call you insane.
But that’s how it worked out three weeks ago at the first Climax Control of the Blaze of Glory Cycle: my match with Alexandra was one of two qualifiers being held that night (the first being Mercedes vs. Crystal in the opener) for the Bombshell Elimination Chamber Match! At the time no one knew what the prize for the winner was, the only thing that was announced at Inception was the fact that Blaze of Glory was going to host SCW’s first Elimination Chamber matches.
Could’ve sworn they had done such matches back in 2019 but I digress!
But yeah, heading into my latest match with Alexandra I wasn’t feeling that great about my chances considering that before that match I had yet to beat her,, whether it was in singles, multiperson, you get the idea! Hell I was almost wishing that I had been facing Mercedes instead because at least she was a fresh opponent.
And now to address the elephant in the room: yeah, Victoria Lyons cost Alexandra the match and I booked my ticket to the Elimination Chamber that night, ironically joining Mercedes as the first two women to qualify! Was I happy about how it went down? No, I would’ve preferred earning my spot fairly and I made that clear to Alexandra on Twitter later that night, at the end of the day a win’s a win, but the other qualifiers wouldn’t be so cut and dry.
The third qualifying match was supposed to be between Seleana Zdunich and Song and take place the following week, I say supposed too because both women had travel issues and the match got cancelled! Fast forward a week and a new qualifying match was announced: Bobbie Dahl vs. Prudence Pierce, Bobbie went on to win that match handily so surely, with Candy being announced as the latest entrant following her win over Ms. Manners in last night’s opener, the match was set in stone, right?
Surprise! Bobbie wrestled Prudence while pregnant and now she’s out of the match too! Though given how far Prudence has fallen from grace since her Blast from the Past win I shouldn’t be too surprised that she got her ass kicked by a pregnant woman!
Apparently there’s going to be an announcement this week but in the meantime, do you wanna know what me, Mercedes, Candy and whoever they pick as Bobbie’s replacement is will be fighting for? Here’s a hint, I mentioned it at the beginning! That’s right, it’s the World Bombshell Championship and the first two slots are being taken up by the champ Andrea Hernandez and the former champ Kayla Richards!

And speaking of this week: the bosses in their infinite wisdom have decided to create a bit of hype for the matches by booking two Strange Bedfellows Tag Team Matches featuring wrestlers from both chamber matches! In one corner: Kayla and Andrea, in the other corner: me and Mercedes.
Yeah, I’m not thrilled about this! honestly I would’ve taken Candy as a partner any day of the week!
”How is it that a cycle where I’ve only wrestled twice is shaping up to be one of the wildest of my SCW Career to date?!” I grunted to myself as my dog Sandy looked up at me from her laying position. ”Qualifying for a World Bombshell Title Match at my first Blaze of Glory, all the trouble the bosses have had finding wrestlers to fill in the last two slots after Song and Seleana’s travel issues and Bobbie’s pregnancy announcement? Almost makes me envy the guys, at least their match doesn’t have this much drama!”
“And you have been wondering when you were going to wrestle a Barnhart to be fair.” Josh pointed out as he entered the room and I glanced over at him, Josh had arrived about an hour ago to strategize for the elimination chamber match, at least that was the plan before I learned through Mercedes’s tweet that Bobbie was no longer in the match due to her pregnancy. “That said any strategy we were going to discuss was thrown out the window by Bobbie’s pregnancy announcement.”
”Leave it to me to go get a snack immediately after I filmed by bit for the aftermath of Bobbie’s match against Prudence.” I commented as I shook my head and Josh nodded in agreement. ”If I had known the catering line was that long I would’ve stuck around a bit longer! And look, I’m happy for Bobbie and all but this makes me glad that I’m both single AND gay!”
“True, less chance of a pregnancy derailing your career for most of the year that way.” Josh nodded in agreement as Sandy stood up and joined me on the couch. “Or the entire year depending on what month you get pregnant in.”
”Yeah, Bobbie got pregnant in March, that should mean that she’ll give birth around December, factor in recovery time which Harp told me was a big factor as to why Jessie didn’t return to wrestling for about a month after she gave birth to April.” I did the math in my head quickly before leaning my head back. ”We probably won’t see Bobbie on another SCW show until next January at the latest, of course I’m more focussed on that last slot in the chamber and who exactly will fill it now.”
“Candy’s already been confirmed as a participant so she won’t be announced, there’s also newcomers like Aaron Asphyxia and Lillith Locke that could get a sink or swim moment.” Josh reasoned and I nodded in agreement. “Or they add Harper to the match and it becomes the High Staks Rumble 2.0.”
”Ugh, on one hand, that whole saga led to me getting my first title match in SCW, on the other hand? That’s a headache that I’m in no hurry to relive!” I groaned as I thought back to the tail end of 2024/start of 2025 and my last tag match. ”And don’t even get me started on that tag match between Young Justice and Aleesha and Bella! And of course, that brings me back to my latest tag team match, me and Mercedes vs. Kayla and Andrea.” I sighed in frustration before I started stroking the Golden Lab that was sitting next to me. ”AKA one of the few instances where I’d rather team with my dog than another wrestler!”
“I know Mercedes’s history with Hero Academy is rocky, especially factoring in the fact that I had started managing Harper when she had that match against Mercedes at December 2 Dismember.” Josh nodded in acknowledgement and I let out a frustrated sigh. “But you’re teaming against the current World Bombshell Champion and the former champion, are you sure you can’t put your differences aside?”
”Have you seen what that bitch has tweeted?!” I asked pointedly before grabbing my phone, finding the tweet it question and showing it to Josh. ”She’s talking about carrying the team because I’m the youngest and least experienced wrestler inn the chamber match! As if she hasn’t been stinking up SCW cards for years and choking whenever she does get a title opportunity!”
“I’ll agree that this isn’t a great start.” Josh nodded in agreement as he read Mercedes’s tweet and my reply. “But if you enter this match divided Kayla and Andrea will take advantage of that! Don’t forget, Kayla held the Mixed Tag Team Championship with Finn for almost an entire year before Miles ended their first reign and Andrea has been around a lot longer than you.”
”They don’t have to deal with an over the hill 2x Hall of Famer with delusions of grandeur!” I countered as I rolled my eyes. ”Not to mention Mercy’s been coaxing on that past success for years at this point! Granted, Krystal was just as guilty of this but at least she tried put in an effort to make sure that her title reign wasn’t her only enduring legacy, and at this point Victoria’s on the fast track to beating her record!”
“Have you talked to Krystal about that?” Josh asked and I shook my head. “Just haven’t had time?”
”She brought it up once, when I showed up to last year’s Summer XXXTreme Cruise with a new SCW Contract in my hand.” I explained as I thought back to that weekend with a sigh. ”All she said was that she had made peace with the fact that someone was bound to break her record at some point long ago, whether she thought it’d happen so soon after her SCW Contract expired is another matter.”
“Victoria still has several more months before she gets to that point and for all we know Alexandra could end her reign at Blaze of Glory like she did to Bobbie during last year's Blast from the Past Tournament.” Josh reminded me and I nodded n agreement. “And if she does then you do have a claim to a title shot since you beat her to earn your spot in the Chamber match.”
”Assuming of course I don’t win the World Bombshell Championship.” I responded as I shook my head. ”I know the odds are against me when you look at who else is in the match but stranger things have happened in this sport.”
“Of course, and I’ll be there to help you reach that goal.” Josh nodded in response to my statement before the conversation drifted off.
Speed Dating Service, Las Vegas, Nevada
Thursday the 6th of March 2025, 13:00pm
On one hand I wanted a break from training and to get back on the dating scene after the breakup with Zoey and Becky, on the other hand? Well, this has been a bust.
It was hard enough finding a speed dating service that catered to lesbians like me but all the women I’ve talked too have either been much older or didn’t share my interests, so yeah, not a great start.
”Okay, we both like dogs, am into fitness.” I commented as I glanced at the attractive woman opposite me. ”What are your thoughts on metal? I love the stuff.”
“Ugh! That’s Satan’s music!” She responded and yeah, that was another dud. “But I can save you by throwing you into the arms of our lord and………..”
”Yeah, no, this ain’t gonna work.” I interrupted her as I shook my head and she stopped dead in her tracks, followed by an awkward silence as we waited for the three minutes to expire. ”Seriously, how can you be gay and claim to be Christian after everything conservative Christians have done to screw over gay people?” I muttered to myself after she moved on, a quick glance around confirmed that she was the last chance for the day. ”Should’ve stuck to online dating.”
Once the speed dating meeting had concluded I met Josh at his car alone. “Judging by your body language? That didn’t go well.” Josh commented as I walked up to him and I nodded.
”I appreciate you finding this service for me but it was a dud.” I sighed as I folded my arms. ”Had the best shot with the last woman because she volunteers at a animal shelter, loves dogs and was into fitness, but when I brought up metal it was game over because she described it as Satan’s Music.”
“That’s rough but they’ll be other opportunities.” Josh assured me before I got into his car and he joined me. “At least for now you can focus on the tag match.”
”True, and with my opposition and my partner? I need all the help I can get.” I sighed as I leaned my heads back against the headrest. ”If nothing else this was a welcome distraction from being stuck with an over the hill tag partner but still.”
“I know the partnership with Mercedes isn’t ideal to say the least, but if you want to bit Kayla and Andrea? You need to put up with it.” Josh responded with a nod of understanding before he started to drive off. “For now let’s get back to the gym so you can train.”
”Great idea.” I nodded in agreement before Josh drove off.

Knowing that the tag match could very well set the tone for the Elimination Chamber Match I was entering this with a lot on my mind.
”You ever look at a match and wonder “what did I do to piss off Christian?”, well, those were my exact thoughts when I saw this Strange Bedfellows Tag Team Match!” I stated as the green screen behind me showed me, Mercedes, Kayla and Andrea. ”Look, I get he’s trying to create some more hype for this match and considering the clusterfuck the qualification process has been since me and Mercedes’s matches during week one I’m pretty sure Christian is close to drowning his sorrows in alcohol at this point but still, pairing me with Mercedes?
I know the match happened two years ago, but do you remember the last time Mercedes shared a ring with a Hero Academy graduate?” I asked before the match graphic for Harper’s match against Mercedes at the last December 2 Dismember appeared on the screen behind me. ”Yeah, it wasn’t pretty and you expect us to get along, never mind go up against the current World Bombshell Champion and the former World Bombshell Champion?”
Seriously!
”And because Mercedes is about as delusional as they get, she’s talking about carrying the team because I’m the youngest and least experienced wrestler in this match by a country mile!” I groaned as I rolled my eyes. ”The same Mercedes who hasn’t held a singles title in years? The same Mercedes who’s the poster girl for the perpetual challengers club? The same Mercedes who is treated as a joke by everyone BUT the bosses.
I swear, I’d be laughing if that idea didn’t piss me off to hell and back!” I added as I shook my head. ”And yeah, I haven’t held a singles title period, in fact unless one of the new girls gets added to this thing I might well be the only Bombshell in the Chamber without a title reign to her name, but I’ve put in a hell of a lot more effort in the past few months than Mercedes has in years!”
As for my opponents?
”But since this is a tag match I can’t really talk about it without bringing up the opposing team, one who’s had an iron grip on the mixed tag titles and another who’s had an iron grip on the Bombshell Internet Championship! I’d almost be tempted to call this team The Iron Hand!” I stated as Kayla and Andrea’s pictures appeared on the screen behind me. ”As for what I think of them? Well, Andrea’s turned over a new leaf since she was last in SCW and Kayla is the biggest bitch on the roster who’s an active wrestler.
Sorry Brooke Shields but managers don’t count!” I added as I shook my head. ”And no, I don’t mean the actress! But as far as wrestling is concerned? Andrea and Kayla are two of the best on the roster which again leads me to ask just what did I do to piss off Christian so badly that I got stuck with Mercedes as my partner? Did Christian bet all his money on Alexandra beating me in my qualifying match and doesn’t want to punish Victoria for some reason?”
It’s that simple.
”Whatever the reason is, one thing is for sure: in both this match AND the Elimination Chamber, name of last participant notwithstanding, I’m the Odd One Out! I’m the only one in both matches, again barring the last participant, who hasn’t held a title in SCW and it hasn’t been for lack of trying either!” I added as I rolled my eyes. ”But does that mean I’m backing down from my opponents? Both in this tag match and in the chamber?
HELL NO!” I stated as I flipped some hair over my shoulder. ”No one expected me to win the Chamber Qualifier against Alexandra but here I am, who’s to say that I can’t repeat history at Blaze of Glory?”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”But we’re not talking about the Chamber Match just yet, we still have this Strange Bedfellows Tag Team Match and the fact that I’m stuck with Mercedes Vargas as my partner.” I added as I set out a deep breath. ”And look, Mercedes can talk all she wants about carrying this team to victory, if she wants to live in her deluded world of fantasy? Let her!
But I’m living in reality and if anyone’s carrying this team to a shock win? It’s going to be me!” I added as I threw up the devil horns. ”And let’s be real. The only contribution Mercedes will make towards the end is if and when she costs us the match, probably after I got tired of her pompous ass! Too all my fans? In a world of fake queens and Argentinian wrestlers who’s ego far outweighs their talent and relevancy? Be yourselves and be a Rebel Princess! But to Andrea and Kayla? Be ready because I’m hungry like the wolfe!”
I turned off the camera as the scene fades.
