WRESTLING A FRIEND SUCKS
Narrator: Felix has been assigned to a match against Senor Vinnie at Climax Control 418 with the winner of their match advancing to the Elimination Chamber match as the next SuperCard. The situation is that Felix is friends with Bill and Bea Barnhart AND he is friends with Senor Vinnie. Before I came on camera to give you my lead-in comments Felix told me that he never enjoys having to wrestle against a friend. With that said it will be interesting to hear what Felix is going to say about his upcoming match.
The camera shot changes from a shot of the Narrator to a shot of Felix Hernandez who is at the Selland Arena in Fresno, California. When the camera pans around the room we realize he is in the room where the wrestling ring is set up for Climax Control 418 and this is the Climax Control where Felix will be facing off against Senor Vinnie. When Felix notices the camera person is focusing on him he takes a seat at the table where Jason Adams and Belinda Simone call the action for the wrestling matches. Once seated Bill turns and looks into the camera to present comments for his upcoming match.
Felix: Before I go into comments on my upcoming match against Senor Vinnie I want to let everyone know that Bill and Bea are not here at Climax Control 418. They decided since both of them are off this wrestling event they would travel back to Lawrenceville, Georgia, to spend time with their English Bulldog Iris. Some of you may wonder if I will feel less adequate in the ring if Bea is not in my corner serving as my Manager for this match. Nah! I am the one wrestling. . .not my Manager. . .so please put your stupid thoughts back into your heads. With that out of the way I will now talk about my upcoming match against Senor Vinnie.
Felix looks into the camera and launches into comments concerning his match against Senor Vinnie.
Felix: I would like to open my comments with how I feel about facing Senor Vinnie for a chance to get into the upcoming Elimination Chamber match. First I want to state that I am friends with Bill and Bea Barnhart but I am also a friend with Senor Vinnie. How is that you ask? Because Bill and Bea, and their English Bulldog Iris, are friends of mine. When Vinnie returned to action in Sin City Wrestling he was automatically added to my friends list. Next I would like to say that I have followed the wrestling career of Vinnie and he has a fantastic record in the wrestling ring. The third item is that even though I am a very good wrestler, and have wins over wrestlers nobody thought I would be able to defeat, I am a realistic person and wrestler so I evaluate everything.
Felix pauses for a moment to take a drink of water.
Felix: I have, over my wrestling career, defeated wrestlers who were either taller than I am, or they weighed more than I did, or both of those items, there are some wrestlers that I talk about honestly and that is what I want to do now and that is to talk to Vinnie so you can hear what I have to say to him. Vinnie has 8 inches of height over me and that is a significant amount of height when you take into consideration that I am giving up 8 inches of height to Vinnie. Then you factor into the equation that I am 165 pounds while Vinnie comes into our match at 280 pounds, which gives him a 115 pound weight advantage over me, you can clearly see that I have a few obstacles I need to overcome. Can I overcome those obstacles and defeat Senor Vinnie? Yes I am capable of accomplishing that. However the question still remains if I can defeat Vinnie. We will find out at Climax Control 418.
Felix stands up from the announcing where Jason Adams and Belinda Simone will call the action of the matches and he walks over to the wrestling ring and stands near one of the corner steps.
Felix: Vinnie we have a lot of tall and heavy wrestlers in Sin City Wrestling. Most of them do fairly well and get wins but those tall and heavy wrestlers also take their share of losses. I realize that wrestlers your size feel that with a height advantage over me of 8 inches, and a weight advantage over me of 115 pounds. But there is a flip side to every story. There are factors that play into a wrestling match between two wrestlers who have a difference in height, or weight, or both. There is a saying that is based on Dog Fighting. It basically goes IT IS NOT THE SIZE OF THE DOG IN THE FIGHT THAT MATTERS…WHAT MATTERS IS THE SIZE OF THE FIGHT IN THE DOG and that is something all wrestlers who are taller and have more weight than I do need to remember.
Felix walks up the ring steps and he enters the ring while continuing to look into the camera and present his comments.
Felix: There is another factor that larger wrestlers fail to take into consideration, or they know the factors but tend to try to ignore them, and that is the fact that with the additional weight and additional height they have over an opponent that also means they are often clumsy and wear down quicker than us smaller wrestlers. All wrestlers larger than I am need to keep in mind that with me being smaller I can move quickly so that I can quickly run in and strike with devastating blows and then quickly move away to allow my opponent time to feel the hurt I put on them.
Felix exits the ring and returns to sitting at the table where Jason Adams and Belinda Simone will be calling the play-by-play of all the matches at this event.
Felix: Let me tell everyone watching what is going on. People automatically assume a wrestler like me cannot win matches and yet again and again and again I have proven to defeat opponents. Some were my size and others were larger than me. I don’t back down from anyone. I don’t get intimidated by what others do or say. I am walking into my match with Senor Vinnie with the intention of winning. If I don’t win that is okay as I will continually support Vinnie in his wrestling career. That’s what makes me different than most of the other wrestlers because they are jerks and I am not.
Felix stands up and walks away from the table where Jason Adams and Belinda Simone will be calling the play-by-play action.
Felix: Everyone, including you Vinnie, need to know that regardless of who wins our match we are both winners. If you win and move on to the Elimination Chamber I will be cheering for both Vinnie, and Bill Barnhart, in in that match. With both of them in that match it will be the highlight match of Climax Control 418. If I get into the Elimination Chamber match it will still be a great match and I would support the abilities of Bill Barnhart but I would also work hard to win that match. Felix informs the camera person that he is finished with his comments for his match at Climax Control 418. The camera person calls into the broadcast studio to let them know that Felix has finished his comments on his match. The broadcast studio cuts the feed to that camera and our screen goes dark.
