The scene opens on a familiar setting with Victoria Seated on her throne, Crown resting firmly on her head, Vincent standing firmly beside the throne like a knight protecting his Queen holding on to the Bombshell roulette championship. As she looks at the camera with her signature arrogant stare her signature smirk also forms on her face as she starts to slow clap.
“Congratulations Andrea Hernandez.” She begins, “You did something very few people have been able to do and that's defeat Kayla Richards, and not just defeat Kayla Richards but defeat her for a championship. Truly no easy task, I've done it myself so I know.”
It was of course her cousin Eddie who had won the mixed tag titles for them a few months back only for her to cause the team to lose the belt in their first defense back in December, but the technicalities mean that Victoria did in fact win a championship from Kayla Richards.
“I suppose you probably think that makes you the top champion in the Bombshell division.” Victoria continued “And sure that championship you hold is technically the top championship, but does that make you the top Bombshell Champion?”
She pauses for a moment raising an eyebrow as if waiting for an answer.
“The answer is no it does not.” said Victoria “Not yet. You haven't even shown if you can defend that yet and nobody knows better than me how vicious Kayla can be when she wants something back. But the answer to who the top Bombshell Champion is right now is me."
Vincent hands Victoria the Bombshell Roulette Championship which she holds up out to the camera.
“I have held this for over 200 days.” said Victoria “I have gone up against some of the best this company had to offer and came out victorious. I have elevated the status of the Bombshell Roulette Championship. So I don't think it's going to be too arrogant of me to say right now I should be considered the top Bombshell champion. Bella Madison and Aleesha seem to be playing ping pong with the Bombshell Internet Championship and your reign has barely begun. I am the constant now. So I think it's only fair that I be considered the top Bombshell champion at the moment.”
She leans back into her throne resting her Championship on her shoulder.
“Now you do have a chance to truly show yourself as champion.” said Victoria “But you have drawn the short straw it seems because not only are you going to have to defend your championship in an Elimination Chamber against five of the best Bombshells this company has to offer, but you have to face me in the weeks leading into it and I promise you after we go to war, you won't be able to get to that chamber at one hundred percent.”
Victoria pauses for a moment letting her words linger in the air.
“But if you can survive the chamber as champion.” said Victoria “Then perhaps you may be well on your way to being a great champion like Kayla was, a great champion like I currently am. Right now all I can call you is a champion but not a great champion. Not yet.”
She takes another short pause.
“You've already done the easy part.” said Victoria “You won a championship but being a champion is a whole different fight. You did earn that Championship there's no doubt about that you went in there with Kayla Richards and with all the scrutiny that comes with facing someone like her you left with a championship you took what she believed to be hers and made it yours and now the whole world is looking at you.”
Victoria chuckles and shifts slightly in her seat making herself more comfortable.
“That's the thing about being a champion.” said Victoria “You don't get to breathe and you don't get to stop and you certainly don't get to rest. Those same people that cheered for you and screamed your name when you got your moment, they'll be the same ones waiting for you to fall, waiting for the next woman to come along and take your place on top.”
She exhaled slightly, running her fingers along her own championship.
“It's the burden of being on top Andrea.” Victoria continued “And right now you stand at the peak, looking down on a division of women who are already plotting how to rip that title from your hands. You’ve barely begun to celebrate and the hunt is already begun and I know because I've lived this every single day for more than 200 days now.”
She lets out an arrogant chuckle.
“Look at Alexandra Calaway.” said Victoria “She called me out on X, wanted a shot at my sweet Rue, and I of course accepted because I don't back down from a challenge. But then Christian Underwood offered her an opportunity to earn a chance at the chamber, a chance at you.”
Without the smirk leaving Victoria shook her head slightly.
“So she took it.” said Victoria “And of course she did, who wouldn't want that opportunity? The problem with that is I had already accepted her challenge and I don't appreciate people ducking me. So I had to handle my business and you won't be seeing her in the chamber. You can thank me later.”
She pauses for a moment keeping the smirk on her face.
“See people talk about the Bombshell World Championship as if it's the only prize worth having.” said Victoria “But this title, The Bombshell Roulette Championship? My sweet Rue? She's not just a stepping stone, she's the one title in this company that demands more than just skill. She demands adaptability and strategy, and she demands that no matter what situation you're thrown into you survive and that's exactly what I've done ever since I won her.”
There's a flicker of pride in her eyes as she looks into the camera.
“So Andrea now that you've done what many considered impossible and ended the reign of Kayla Richards.” Victoria continued, “What happens next, What if the pressure becomes too much and the spotlight becomes too blinding? What happens when the cheers start to fade and you realize that everyone around you is waiting for you to fail? Because you make no mistake about it, they're all waiting.”
She takes a short pause for a moment.
“Because people love to act like they want brand new eras and fresh faces with the truth is legacies don't fade that easily.” said Victoria “And if there's one thing I know Andrea, from one champion to another. No matter how high you climb, someone's always going to be waiting to remind you that you're not the only one holding power and you're not the only one who can reign.”
She pauses again a little longer, this time her smirk never disappearing.
“Enjoy this while it lasts.“ said Victoria “Because now that you are a champion, that's when the real test and the real battle begins. At Climax Control you're going to realize the expectations of being an SCW champion and you are going to become just another victim in my glorious reign.”
With that she leans back into her throne as the camera lingers on her for a few moments before everything slowly fades to black.
__________
Victoria strode through the halls of the Lyons Den with Vincent close behind as though she owned the place, and in many ways she did. It was their father that had founded the training center which was the main reason she got to have her own private room to store her throne that she used for her promos.
After closing up her promo against Andrea Hernandez for Climax Control she was feeling confident as she rounded the corner into the main hall of the Lyons Den where she ran into one of her other family members, her cousin Alexander Lyons. He wasn't happy, of course with Alexander, he was never happy but this time he seemed more upset than usual.
“Do you need something cousin?” she asked with a flair of attitude.
“You know what you did.” Alexander said sternly as he stood in her path
Victoria sighed. This had to be about Alexandra Calaway.
“Is this about Alexandra?” said Victoria “Look I just needed to remind her that I'm not some warm up act.”
“You gave her a concussion.” Alexander snarled
“And?” Victoria replied nonchalantly “She's a big girl, she'll get over it.”
“She's my PWS tag team partner.” said Alexander “We are the number one contenders for the PWS Tag Team championships and you risked ruining that for the both of us.”
“Oh relax cousin.” said Victoria “You act like I hit her with a truck or something.”
“Well if you're going to be having a problem with Alexandra.” he said “You're going to be having a problem with me.”
At that point Vincent's eyes grew and he took a few steps forward but Victoria held him back with one hand.
“No it's okay Vincent, don't worry about him.” she said.
Vincent nodded and stopped his stride.
“As for your dark sister or whatever you call her.” said Victoria “She challenged me first and once I accepted she backed out for an opportunity at the chamber like I'm just supposed to be an afterthought. I took offense to that.”
“All she did was take an opportunity.” said Alexander “One that you know doesn't come often, one that you would have done the exact same thing if presented to you.”
“She took an opportunity.” said Victoria “And I took exception.”
“You don't even care do you?” said Alexander scowling.
“No Alex I don't.“ said Victoria with a smirk
“Of course.” said Alex shaking his head, “Of course you don't. You only care about yourself.”
Victoria simply folded her arms and rolled her eyes.
“Look Alexander.” Victoria said with a mocking tone "I understand this is all very tragic for you but I don't have time for the this heart to heart, Alexandra got what she got and if you're going to cry about it doing somewhere not in my way.”
This conversation wasn't worth her time she had more important things to do she still had Andrea Hernandez to prepare for who despite being a young champion had still dethroned Kayla Richards and that's something Victoria took very seriously giving her own history with Kayla.
So she had nothing more to say to her cousin from some other company she showed right past him down the hall to more important things to bigger plans not noticing the key that had slipped from her pocket.
Neither her Vincent had caught Alexander's gaze as he watched it clink onto the ground, as soon as she rounded the corner he scooped it up and put it into his pocket, before pulling out his cell phone.
“Call Alexandra.” he said.
__________
The air was thick and heavy and the scent of damp stone lingered throughout there was a fake lower light reflecting off the stone walls of wherever Victoria had taken her twin brother Vincent. This was not a place of comfort but a place of transformation.
Victoria stood arms crossed leaning against a wall observing her brother with a casual gaze studying him watching every subtle movement. His posture was still uncertain as though he was waiting to only strike when necessary.
“You don't need to hesitate Vincent.” said Victoria “We don't second guess. We are not like Eddie.”
Vincent's gaze shifted to hers.
“Hesitation…” said Vincent “Eddie holds back still plays by the rules…”
“Exactly.” said Victoria “That's Eddie's weakness. He wants to keep believing in honor and fairness, in doing the right thing. That's why he's always going to come up short.”
Vincent nodded listening has Victoria approached him, circling him like a shark would its prey.
“But you're not like that Vincent.” she continued “You're different, you don't care about the rules. You don't care about being fair. When you were lost out there on that island did anybody play fair with you?”
“No.” Vincent muttered “Wolves bad, wolves took Charlie. Charlie fell down the hill.”
“But what about you?” Victoria continued “You survived, you adapted because you started to become a predator of your own.”
“Run ran hide run ran hide” Vincent said.
“Sometimes running is part of survival.” said Victoria “All you did was choose to survive. You refuse to let yourself become prey.”
She continued to smile as she circled him.
"If you look at someone like Andrea Hernandez." Victoria continued "She beat Kayla Richards and won the top title in our division. She believes she's the biggest predator now but she doesn't understand that she's already prey.”
Victoria continues to circle Vincent as she speaks.
“Then there's Alexandra Calaway," said Victoria with a smirk “Too stubborn to stay down, but it won't matter because I've already proven myself against her on multiple occasions.”
“A wounded animal…" Vincent smirked
“Exactly “ said Victoria, "You and I need to prove that we are the predators around here and not the prey.”
“What is sister's desire?” asked Vincent.
“I want you to become what Eddie never will.” said Victoria “I want you to be merciless you don't need to fight with honor or for pride you fight to win.”
She continued her circling of him as Vincent stood and listened.
“We fight to win.” said Victoria “You and I are who matter. Nobody else I'm going to take care of Andrea Hernandez, and prove to everybody who the top champion is in our division and when you finally make your arrival everyone will realize that there's a new predator in town and he's ready to start hunting.”
“Ready to fight.” Vincent said
“Yes Vincent. It's time to fight.” she said with a smirk.
__________
There is no throne as the scene opens this time no grandeur no spotlight this is Victoria slipping into her darkness under the flickering of a single lantern looking like a hungry beast as the camera pulls in close to the darkness revealing her to be sitting at it wooden table worn by time, the Bombshell Roulette Championship rests on the table.
There's more of a look of focus in her this time her eyes burning with a controlled fire. This is a woman that is on the hunt. Beside her looming in the shadows, her twin brother Vincent stands. A presence that is more felt than seen, his gaze watchful, knowing that this is Victoria's time and her words will be the ones doing the cutting.
“Over 200 days.” said Victoria “That's how long I've been a champion, that's how long I've held this. By the time we face Off Andrea I should be close to, if not the second longest reigning Bombshell Roulette Champion of all time and well on my way to dethroning Krystal Wolfe’s spot at the top.”
“Wolves bad, too many wolves.” said Vincent
“Yes there are too many with the wolf moniker.” said Victoria “Too many from Wolfslair but that's not important right now.”
“Lions reign supreme..” said Vincent.
“Yes they do.” said Victoria “Because they are predators, do you understand that Andrea? I am a predator in our division. I've had challenges rise to me thinking they would be the ones to fell me and each and every time I proved why I rule this division.”
She exhales has a cold smile grows on her face.
“And now here you are Andrea.” said Victoria “The new Bombshell World Champion, the woman who everyone's talking about because she took down Kayla Richards. The woman who climbed the mountain, and now stands at the peak.”
She pauses for a moment leaning forward resting her elbows on the table.
“Do you feel it yet?” Victoria asked with a calculating tone “The weight, the pressure of knowing that you're not the hunter anymore but the hunted?”
“Heavy is the crown.” said Vincent
“Oh yes it is dear brother.“ said Victoria “But the thing about people like Andrea is she doesn't realize it yet. She's still caught in the moment feeling that high believing she has the time to adjust but she doesn't and she never did. From the moment she won that championship the second she held it above her head in that ring she was already under the sword.”
She reaches down beside her and pulls out a dusty old book with a cracked cover and yellowed pages. Her fingers trace the spine as she opens it.
“Do you know the story of Damocles?” asked Victoria “A man who wanted to taste power, he wanted to feel what it was like to be on top and sit on the throne. For a moment he had it, he was King but above his head hung a blade.”
She flips a few pages of the book.
“A sword suspended by nothing but a fraying thread.” Victoria continued “And as he sat there feeling the weight of the crown he realized that power isn't just about winning power is about surviving.”
With a sharp snap she slams the book shut the sound echoing through the room.
“That's what no one warns you about Andrea.” said Victoria her expression shifting more predatory, “That championship that you hold, you don't realize it yet but you're beneath the blade and I'm coming to cut the thread.”
She pauses letting her signature smirk grow onto her face.
“It's okay Andrea.” said Victoria “They tried to compare me to the story of Icarus when I arrived saying I was flying too close to the sun too much success too soon and I was going to fall hard. But here I still stand over 200 days later proving my dominance as the Bombshell Roulette Champion.”
She waves her hand across the Bombshell Roulette Championship in front of her. Her sweet Rue as she's come to call it.
“So maybe you'll do the same.” said Victoria “Maybe you'll make me eat my words and become a great champion in your own right. Defeating Kayla Richards certainly is no easy task, so you have already taken one step in that direction. The problem is now you're in the ring with me.”
“The undeniable.” said Vincent
“Exactly dear brother.” said Victoria “They voted me most hated, and they voted me future star of the year. Do you know what that tells me Andrea? It means they hate me because they ain't me. I may be most hated around here but they were unable to deny me and my star power. You get to find out why.”
“She doesn't see it yet.” said Vincent
“No but she will.” said Victoria “You see Andrea, this match isn't just about me proving why I'm the most dangerous woman in this division or reminding why my reign has lasted this long. It’s about setting the tone for yours and making sure you understand from the very beginning what it means to stand in the same ring as me.”
She pauses letting her words settle.
“This is going to be more than just a match for you Andrea.” Victoria said “This is going to be your trial by fire and we're going to see if you're able to survive. If you can avoid the sword looming above your head and truly rise up as a champion as I have. Truly rise up as a champion as Kayla Richards did before you. That's the real question isn't it? What type of champion will you be?”
“Will she survive?” said Vincent.
“I guess we'll have to see.” said Victoria “We will simply have to see. She's proven to be strong enough to become a champion but is she strong enough to survive against me?”
She pauses again keeping her eyes on the camera in front of her.
“Welcome to the jungle Andrea.” said Victoria.
After a flickering of the lantern everything fades out to Black.
