The sound of a dull beat on wood gains the attention of a man who is looking into a refrigerator. Looking towards the door where the sound is heard again, the man pulls out a bottle of beer that he cracks as he moves towards the door. Opening it reveals Connor Murphy in a suit with his tie pulled open at his neck.
“Hey there, Dev,” he comments as his hand moves up to the tie, pulling it open and off his neck. “I think I did a thing…”
Brushing past Devlin, Connor makes his way to the fridge, opens it, and pulls out his own beer bottle. Turning he opens it and tosses the cap behind him. “Hello to you too Connor, and what kind of thing?”
Chugging the beer, Connor gives a soft chuckle. “I decided that the nine to five just wasn’t for me.” Connor reaches the couch inside the apartment and moves to sit there. Swigging from the bottle again, he is silent which makes Dev give him a look. “I ain’t kiddin’ Dev. I have been thinking about it for a while now and I think I want to get back into wrestling. But to do that, I needed to quit muckin’ about in that office and take a serious chance to get back to fighting form. And that is where you come in.”
Dev moves to sit on a chair to the side. “You quit? To get back to being a wrestler? What the fuck?” Dev leans forward, the bottle of beer hanging from his hand. “And what do you want from me?”
Connor smiles and points the top of his bottle at Dev. “Well you are the one with a sister who used to wrestle and works and trains in a gym owned by her husband. So, I was wondering if you would give her a call and see if I can come to the Dungeon and try getting ready to make a return to the ring,” asks Connor before he leans back bringing the bottle to his lips.
“You want me to call Vix and ask for her to give you some training?” demands Dev as he watches Connor, and rolls his eyes as a grin begins to cross the face of his friend. “All right, but I am making no promises…”
Connor grins wider as Devlin picks up his phone, swipes across the screen and brings the phone to his ear. After a moment, Devlin looks at Connor. “Hey Vix…Connor wanted me to call you about coming to train at the Dungeon…”
Connor leans forward as the scene fades out on Devlin reaching down to put the call on speaker.

Present day…
Connor Murphy stands in what looks like the ring at Climax Control. Looking into the camera.
“I heard that you were quite welcoming of me making my return Justin Smith so thank you. You are the first wrestler that said that I was welcome and I appreciate it. But I have to admit, as much as I thank you for the comment, I don’t really know you personally,” offers Connor.
He moves to the ropes and leans against them. “I guess you want to make sure that I am getting the right impression that I need to be put in my place but I have to say that you can’t just think that because I don’t know you and that I haven’t been in the ring for four years, you are going to have an easy night of it. I mean I understand you are young and ready for taking on a returning veteran who hasn’t wrestled in a dog’s age but I do have to warn you too. I haven’t been sitting back on my laurels of memories. I have been training my ass off because I am not just coming back to job to the other wrestlers. I am coming back to Sin City Wrestling to make my mark and I am starting with you.”
“So thank you for the welcome and sorry that I am going to be beating you in my first match back,” declares Connor before turning to walk into the darkness at the other side of the ring.
