As Harper starts her vlog the now twenty year old wrestler clear has a lot on her mind.

”Let’s have trip down memory lane, shall we? Last year, September 10th, 2023, to be precise, I made my Sin City Wrestling debut, my opponent was one of many who ultimately became a footnote in SCW history, she and her brother stuck around for a few more matches before bailing but I still won my debut match.” Harper stated as she fan a hand through her dirty blonde hair. ”And let’s be honest, not everyone can make that claim, not everyone can hit the ground running like Julianna DiMaria for example, and two weeks later my second match was scheduled against Bea Barnhart.

A match that I ended up being screwed out of!”

Harper shakes her head with an annoyed huff.

”I said it back then and I’ll say it here, I wasn’t expecting to stay undefeated forever and I bounced back when I beat Laura Phoenix in her retirement match at last year’s High Stakes, which also happened to be my Supercard debut as a Bombshell, but that loss hung over me for the longest time! Every other Bombshell I faced used that bullshit loss against me because Bea’s the bottom of the Bombshell Roster’s totem pole! Never mind the fact that I got a win over Mercedes in the next cycle or scored the upset of the year against Courtney!

Okay, those were tainted wins but if certain Bombshells can ignore the circumstances of my one loss against Bea then I can ignore the circumstances behind those wins!”

Harper shakes her head.

”To make a long story short, I’ve been after a return match against Bea for over a year, and apparently the brass have forgotten about my history with Bea because they didn’t bring it up in the card preview for the first Climax Control of the High Stakes cycle.” Harper shakes her head with a grin. ”It’s funny, isn’t it? I made my SCW Debut on the first Climax Control of last year’s High Stakes cycle and fast forward a year? I’m getting the return match against my second ever opponent on the first Climax Control of the High Stakes cycle, I believe a certain Australian former Bombshell Roulette Champion once said that fate has a funny sense of humour, if that’s true?

Then I’ll be laughing all the way to the bank as I get the win I should’ve gotten one year ago!”

Jessie’s home, Las Vegas, Nevada
Monday the 7th of October 2024, 17:00pm

Harper’s time on the Royal Pain tour was a busy one for the Salco family in general as on top of Harper’s birthday taking place on the first week of Violent Conduct’s hype cycle and Jessie giving birth to her daughter the week before Harper hasn’t had much time to relax.

”I wasn’t even on the Violent Conduct card you’d think I’d use it to check in Jessie.” Harper commented to herself as she walked up the walkway to Jessie’s home and shook her head. ”Then again, she was in hospital for a good chunk of the first week so I’d probably have been bored out of my mind.”

Harper shook her head before reaching the door and giving it a knock, which was followed by several barks. ”Titan, calm down, it’s only Harper!” Jessie’s voice rang out from the other side of the door before she opened the door revealing Jessie standing alongside her Chow-Chow Titan. ”Hey Harp, here to see April outside of hospital for the first time?”

”Well that and to just check in on you in general.” Harper responded before Jessie led her into the house with the dog behind them. ”What was the recovery time given by the docs again?”

”About six weeks, probably as late as eight weeks, that was three weeks ago so I’m about halfway through my recovery.” Jessie commented as she shook her head and Harper nodded as she got the idea. ”I’d go into detail about my symptoms but they’d probably be enough to put you off the idea of having kids all together.”

”And male wrestlers wonder why so many women wrestlers are gay or are single like me, am I right?” Harper joked and Jessie shook her head with a chuckle. ”Not that I don’t want to date but I’ve been so busy with wrestling and all that! And Josh is the closest thing I have to a male companion and he’s old enough to be my dad!”

”Yeah, let’s not go down THAT rabbit hole, this industry is fucked up enough as it is!” Jessie responded as she shook her head before leading Harper up the stairs. ”How’s Cass settling in at Sin City? I know she made her debut in the last cycle.”

”Pretty salty over the winner of the Proving Ground Tournament bailing after her loss to Juliana, otherwise? Just fine.” Harper responded with a shrug as she glanced around. ”Still searching for her first win but I know it was like that for you when you arrived in Sin City, kinda like me and searching for my first win in months really.”

”And if by that you mean the rematch with Bea? That should be easy enough.” Jessie responded as she shook her head before the two women reached the top of the stairs. ”You actually arrived at a pretty good time Harp, we just changed April’s diaper and fed her about an hour ago, in other words? You managed to hit the sweet spot.”

”Jess, I’ve got two kid siblings remember? I still remember what it was like to be the big sister to a pair of babies.” Harper countered and Jessie nodded conceding that Harper had a point before opening the door to the baby’s room and letting Harper in, April’s crib was on the other side of the room and Harper walked up to it, seeing the baby girl asleep in the crib. ”Hey April, it’s your……….” Harper paused before turning to Jessie. ”What IS my relation to her? I know we’re cousins but I literally had to stop myself from calling me her sister!”

”Muscle memory from meeting your baby siblings?” Jessie asked with a chuckle and Harper nodded. ”I’m pretty sure Keira said something about second cousin, I’ll have to double check since that would’ve been around the time I announced my pregnancy last December.”

”Honestly that sounds about right, hopefully this December will involve a lot less visits to the hospital.”” Harper responded with a shrug before the baby started crying a bit and Harper turned around. ”And I woke her up.”

”To be fair Harp, it was probably a combination of us chatting that did it.” Jessie responded as she shook her head before she came over to crab and picked up April gently. ”Hey April, it’s your second Cousin Harper!”

”Hey kiddo!” Harper greeted the baby with a grin as she waved to her. ”Honestly can’t tell if she has your eyes or Shane’s to be honest.”

”Don’t even get me started! Me and Shane have been debating it since we brought her home.” Jessie admitted as she shook her head.  ”Doesn’t exactly help that our eyes look so similar anyway, want to get some reps done in the Home Gym while you’re here?”

”Thought you’d never ask.” Harper responded before she left the room.

We cut to Harper sitting in the middle of Jessie’s ring in her home gym.

”One of the first things I learned about life as a wrestler is that it’s about politics as it is talent, take that for what you will, but if that is true? Then Bea might be the biggest politician in Sin City Wrestling.” Harper states as she shifts her weight. ”But she isn’t a good politician, she thinks she’s good a seat on the senate when in reality she’s the mayor of a town that literally no one outside the general area has heard of and WOW! This analogy got away from me in a hurry!

Look, my point is that Bea likes to make up shit about her opponents, hell Bill’s just as guilty of this! And guess what? After I won my debut Bea tries pulling that shit on me!”

Harper lets out an annoyed grunt.

”Namely? she tried to claim that I had beaten Jane unfairly when in reality I beat her clean as a whistle! Literally anyone who watched my debut match could tell that but I guess Bea can’t be othered to watch anything that’s not relevant to her!” Harper added ass she folded her arms. ”Wonder what lies she’ll try to spread about our first match? That she won fairly? That the match never happened? That I used more baby oil than P Diddy before our match?

Okay that last one in poor taste but would you really put that past Bea? Whatever lies she vomits from her mouth I will call out on Social Media and at Climax Control, right before beating her off course!”

Harper shakes her head.

”Now that I think about it, you’d think my dad’s military service would’ve carried some weight with the Barnharts given how old school they are.” Harper commented before shaking her head. ”Then again they’ve probably taken enough headshots over the years that they think their hometown is some small town in England!

Any way you look at it? Kicking Bea’s ass will be satisfying on Sunday!”

Local café, Las Vegas, Nevada
Tuesday the 8th of October 2024, 11:00am

Following the day at Jessie’s house Harper is getting a bite to eat at a local café for brunch.

”Okay, what to do for the rest of the week when I’m not training for the match with Bea.” Harper wondered to herself as she scrolled through TikTok while waiting for her food. ”Maybe I should start posting TikToks like I’ve been telling myself to do? Then again it does seem lie they’re going to ban TikTok soon so there might not be much point.” Harper sighed as she ran a hand through her hair. ”Maybe I should’ve seen what Cass is up to over in Reno? It’s not like she doesn’t have her own match to worry about.”

Harper’s train of thought was stopped when she heard an argument nearby and looked up, seeing an attractive red head arguing with what seemed to be her boyfriend at another table,  Harper shook her head and paid it no mind until……………. “I can’t believe you cheated on me! We’re through!” The redhead declared loud enough for everyone to hear her and everyone in the café glanced up.

“Kaylee, please……..” The boyfriend responded before she put some money down on the table and stormed off.

”Maybe the single life isn’t so bad after all?” Harper muttered under her breath before the waitress came over with her food. ”Some people huh?”

“Tell me about it, it’s like she invited hm to come here just to embarrass him publicly.” The waitress responded as she shook her head. “And she can do so much better than him!”

”Exactly what I was thinking! Anyway, I got food to eat!” Harper added as she grabbed her knife and fork. ”And I haven’t eaten since I woke up so I’m starving.”

“Late sleep in?” The waitress asked and Harper nodded.

”Pretty much.” Harper shrugged and as the now ex-boyfriend stormed off Harper started eating her meal.

*on camera, start vlog, final promo part*

We see Harper back at her loft ready for the final part of her promo.

”Here’s what I don’t get about Bea’s lies and the crap she spreads, especially when it’s about me, I’ve always tried to treat my opponents with respect since I graduated from Hero Academy last year, there’s only been a couple of Bombshells who have been exceptions to the rule, one’s the Bombshell Roulette Champion, the other is Mercedes Vargas.” Harper stated as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And depending on what she says aout me when she cuts her rambling, incoherent nonsense that somehow passes for a promo, Bea may well be the third Bombshell on the list!

Yeah, I know, one of these things is not like the other and all that, will probably be the one and only time Victoria Lyons is mentioned in the same sentence unless they end up challenging her in a Triple Threat before her match with Luna but I digress.”

Harper shakes her head.

”And what do I get for my troubles? A handicap match against two of the best in the company because I pay tribute to my trainers and an opportunity for Bea to spread more lies about me!” Harper shook her head. ”At least this time I can shut her up, at least this time, I ca make her eat her own words, at least this time I won’t give her a chance to cheat!

Also, quick question Bea, I missed Violent Conduct because I couldn’t be medically cleared in time to make it onto the card, what’s your excuse?”

It’s that simple.

”Playing cheerleader for Bill while he gets his ass kicked by Aiden in a street fight? At least your husband was putting the effort in!” Harper commented as she shook her head. ”Then again if you two put in as much effort into your wrestling as you do spreading lies about me and other opponents you’ve faced? Who knows? Maybe you’d be the World Bombshell Champion Bea!

I’m pretty sure Kayla Richards is throwing up at that very thought as we speak but you know what? I don’t care.”

And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.

”I mean you didn’t care about being truthful about me last September when we faced off for the first time so why would I care now? This match has been a year in the making for me Bea and I will be getting that win back.” Harper added as she narrowed her eyes. ”And unlike you? I won’t need to cheat to win my match! Because the world needs a new hero and her name is “The Slaytanic Avenger” Harper Mason! Bea? I’ll see you on Sunday!”

Harper turned off her webcam as the scene fades.
