Following her win over Levana Cade at the second Climax Control of the cycle, Jessie found herself without a match as she watched from the backstage area while other, younger Bombshells took centre stage! That was changing at the Go Home Show for Into the Void X where Jessie was booked against the current Number One Contender for the Bombshell Roulette Championship Kat Jones in a Roulette Rules match! Jessie was one of SCW’s most tenured Bombshells and was in fact that seventh ever Bombshell Roulette Champion having won the title at Blaze of Glory II back in 2013! Can Jessie get the win over the newcomer or will Kat get the momentum boost she needed heading into her first title match in SCW?
Backstage at Climax Control 329, Rhodes, Greece

I have a lot on my mind, in case the promo I cut earlier tonight didn’t give that away.
Truth is? I’m not getting any younger, that much is obvious, and on top of that? Years of doing this high flying, high risk style has left me with more nagging injuries than I care to count! I was hoping to take up MMA training so I could incorporate that and turn my style into a more ground based, hard hitting style but the Greece tour has put a damper on those plans and don’t get me wrong, I love Greece and I’ve loved every other trip that SCW has taken to this area of the world in years past but there’s a huge difference there.
For the most part, I was still in my twenties when SCW travelled to Greece before, I’m thirty two now and if I want to be like Myra and continue to wrestle well into my late thirties? Something needs to change.
I was watching the Main Event between Roxi and Seleana on the monitor and I had to admit that I was wondering if there was going to be a place for me on the Into the Void X card, especially since the Queen for a Day Match was announced earlier tonight and they seemed to have their sites set on certain Bombshells to populate that match, including previous winner Alicia Lukas, former champion Amber Ryan and Krystal Wolfe but the rest of the match was yet to be filled.
”I was so close!” I heard Ariana’s frustrated voice and I glanced up seeing the Greek-American Bombshell chatting with her boyfriend Francisco, it didn’t take me long to figure out what Ari was talking about, her match against Alicia Lukas earlier in the night was a lot closer than anyone had expected but in the end, Alicia’s experience edge was enough for the former World Bombshell Champion to get the win. ”If I had just hit the Angel’s Wrath I would’ve scored the upset win.”
”You have nothing to be ashamed off Ari, Alicia has been wrestling for a lot longer than you.” Francisco assured her as I walked up to the young couple. ”We both knew that facing a former World Bombshell Champion in your first match as an official SCW Bombshell was going to be tough.”
”I know, heck I thought I had it after I hit the Angel’s Descent.” Ari admitted as she folded her arms. ”Maybe I should start working on a third finisher at the Go Gym once we’re back stateside.”
”You can develop a million finishers but Alicia will still be a tough opponent for someone of your experience level.” I commented as I approached them and Ari looked up. ”Hell I’ve been wrestling a lot longer than you and my only win over Alicia was in that Internet Title qualifier back in December.”
”Yeah and you didn’t even pin Alicia in that match, it was Seleana who took the pin in that match.” Ari nodded once she remembered the match in question. ”Don’t take this the wrong way Jess but you’re pretty much the queen of bouncing back from a loss, any tips?”
”Don’t expect any profound wisdom just because I’ve been wrestling since you were a toddler Ari.” I teased her and Ari rolled her eyes in response, we heard a text notification and knowing what day it was we both knew that it was the weekly new card text. ”Best I can say is to pick yourself back up and do better next time, you’ve been doing this for three years and your nearly twenty two, you’ve still got a long career ahead of you.”
”I wasn’t aware that six months translated out to “nearly.” Ari responded with a grin and I shook my head with a chuckle before we got our phones out to check the card. ”Looks like they’re doing qualifiers to determine the other participants in the Queen and King for a Day Matches, Agostino’s taking on Hitamashi and Candy’s got Bella Madison.”
”No offence Ari but those matches aren’t the ones I’m interested in.” I said as I locked eyes with the next two matches on the card. ”Goth’s in a handicap match against two unknowns and I’m taking on Kat Jones in a Roulette Rules match, nothing about me being added to the title match at Into the Void if I win.”
”Didn’t they stop doing that a while ago? I remember Matthew Knox getting added to the Internet Title Match at Blaze of Glory X but that was only because Ken Davidson insisted on it.” Ari remembered and I nodded knowing what she was talking about. ”And didn’t happen with your first title win?”
”Yeah, Faith scored the win in a non-title Roulette Rules match over Alexis on the Go Home Show for Blaze of Glory II and suddenly I was sharing the spotlight with another Bombshell.” I nodded as I folded my arms. ”I still won the title that night but I wasn’t happy about it, especially considering I had earned it in a Hardcore Bra and Panties match.”
”Huh, the last time I saw something that had “hardcore” and “bra and panties” in the title was on Por……..” Francisco trailed off when he saw the amused look his girlfriend was giving him and I had to admit, I was barely containing my laughter. ”I mean my friend saw something like that on PornHub!”
”Your friend’s name wasn’t Frank, was it Francisco?” I teased him and the Brazilian man shook his head with a chuckle. ”As far as Kat Jones goes? I’m not worried because it’s as I said, this is Kat’s second Roulette Rules match since she joined the company in December, me? I’ve been doing this since Ari was a preteen.”
”I’d argue against that to avoid making you feel old but honestly? You’re right, I was a few months short of twelve years old when you made your SCW debut.” Ari admitted and I had to shake my head, yes I brought it up but it wasn’t making me feel any younger and no, my comments earlier in the night weren’t helping. ”But you last competed for the Roulette Title in 2020, when you traded it back and forth with Johanna Krieger.”
”Yep, and that’s still a sore spot for me.” I grumbled under my breath as I rolled my eyes. ”Anyway, I’m going to call it a night, unless Knox and Bane have started another parking lot brawl I should be able to get an early night.”
”Well the ring didn’t implode during the main event so that’s a good start.” Ariana joked and I shook my head with a chuckle, mostly at how the SCW rings had stood for years yet it took two huge man Superplexing each other to destroy one of them, I get the feeling that the bosses are going to be reinforcing the remaining rings that they have in storage back stateside as soon as the post Supercard break starts, not to mention checking that they are all in working order. ”Seriously though, getting some sleep sounds good, especially with Francisco, though I’m not looking forward to the week in Lesbos.”
”Why? All the other Greek islands we’ve visited have been beautiful?” I asked with a curious look on my face and Ari shook her head. ”Is Lesbos a dump or something?”
”No, not at all, it’s a beautiful island.” Ari explained as she shook her head. ”But given the name and the high number of bombshells who happen to either be gay or bi, I’m not looking forward to explaining to everyone making the inevitable jokes that the island existed for a very long time and has been inhabited since at least Roman times and thus predates the term “lesbian” by a LOT of years.”
”I’m already getting a headache just thinking about that, and I’m not even from Greece!” I commented as I shook my head before I started making my way to the parking lot. ”Might be because I’m one of the bi bombshells admittedly! Anyway, I’ll catch you tomorrow Ari.”
”See you tomorrow.” Ari called back before we went our separate ways, ready for the penultimate show of the Greece Lightning Tour.

Well, here we are, the penultimate stop on the Greece Lightning Tour, the first International tour that SCW has partook in since the ill-fated Homecoming tour of 2020 and it’s ending in one place that is getting a LOT of juvenile jokes because of its name (although according to Ari the Greek Alphabet doesn’t haver the letter b in it and should be called “Lesvos” instead) and the arguable birthplace of democracy.
I say arguable because if you take a long hard look at ancient Athens and its idea of democracy, it’s nothing like how we understand it! For one thing, the Bombshell roster wouldn’t be able to work Into the Void if Athens still used those ancient rules! I’m not kidding, look it up!
Still Greece has always been a favourite destination of mine since SCW started doing international tours and this year has been no different, even if it does make me wonder what’s in store for the SCW roster come the Summer XXXTreme Cycle.
”12 Labours of Hercules, Labyrinth, if you had told me that the bosses had two years of pent up creativity when it came to the Roulette Divisions I’d believe it.” I commented to Jake and Shane after we had finished listening to the self-titled debut album by the heavy metal band RF Force. ”Makes me wonder what Into the Void will bring to be honest.”
“Or your match against Kat on Sunday.” Jake responded with a shrug as my much bigger older brother leaned back. “It is being contested under Roulette Rules and you know as well as we do that the wheel can be a harsh mistress.”
”Well, yeah, I was the seventh ever Bombshell Roulette Champion and I’ve held that title four times over the course of my career.” I commented as I thought back over the past ten years of my career. ”Speaking off, if my math is right, then the Summer XXXTreme Cycle should cover the tenth year anniversary of my SCW debut, in ring that is, not my appearance in the backstage segs the week before.”
“15th of July 2012, you vs. Ms. Evangelista and Alexis Morrison.” Shane nodded after thinking for a minute. “Ms. Evangelista ultimately won that Triple Threat but you outlasted both of them and beat Alexis to win your first title.”
”I can’t even say that the wrong person won that Triple Threat, I was four years into my wrestling career by that point, I still had a lot to learn.” I commented with a shrug as I paused to think back to when the dates for this tour was announced. ”Into the Void is happening on the 15th of May, post Supercard break will take us up to the 29th of May and the first Climax Control post Into the Void, based on that math we’ll likely be deep into the Summer XXXTreme Cycle by the time July rolls around, if not on board the cruise ship itself but I guess we’ll have to wait for the bosses to announce the dates first.”
“Well even if you’re not wrestling on that date I think we should commemorate the occasion.” Jake suggested and I nodded in agreement. “15th of July is falling on a Sunday this year anyway, so unless you appear for an indy fed, you won’t be wrestling on that day.”
“We won’t know what we’re doing period until the next cycle’s dates get announced anyway.” Shane pointed out and we had to admit that he had a point. “I think we should hold off on any plans until we know the dates at least, for all we know SCW might do another international tour.”
”Wouldn’t put it past them, we have spent the past two years cooped up stateside and this is our first international tour in a while.” I nodded in agreement as I glanced over towards the window. ”One that’s given me a lot to think about.”
“Yeah, I meant to ask.” Shane commented and I turned to him. “What’s with all this talk about retirement lately?”
”No comment.” I responded with a shrug and the boys left it that.
Panagia Agia Sion, Lesbos, Greece
Thursday the 28th of April 2022, 17:00pm
For lack of better term, this destination seemed appropriate.
This place was described on TripAdvisor as a ancient village and church with a nearby café and was noted as being a site of interest for architectural and history buffs, plus it was this or a museum of industrial olive oil production and with all due respect to Ari, she was literally the only person interested in that place.
Guess you can take the girl out of Greece but you can’t take the Greece out of the girl!
”Even as an atheist I’ll admit, this has been interesting.” I commented to the others (Krystal, Makayla, Ari and Cass, Francisco couldn’t make it due to a stomach bug). ”Might use that church as the location for my promo.”
”I’ll ask the locals just to be sure but it shouldn’t be a problem.” Ari responded as she turned to me. ”Just try to get too sacrilegious and there shouldn’t be a problem.”
”I’m sorry but that’s just hilarious coming from the woman who, up until last year, had been calling herself The Greek Angel.” Cassie teased Ari and I had to admit, she did have a point there. ”Then again, angel is a popular nickname in wrestling so what do I know?”
”I took that initial nickname because my surname literally translates out to Angel and I couldn’t think of anything better at the time.” Ari admitted with a sheepish grin as we explored the ancient village. ”I later took the Greek Goddess because I got sick of being pushed around, fat lot of good that did me.”
”Your official SCW career is just starting, you’ll be fine.” Krystal assured Ari as the Aussie turned to her. ”Hell, you’re already doing better than I did in my first six months as a member of the SCW roster.”
”And I’m just waiting for Into the Void itself, I was born in Athens after all.” Makayla admitted as we turned to her. ”I’m not saying that the rest of the tour hasn’t been fantastic but Athens has been my most anticipated destination on this tour since the dates were announced.”
”And I’m sure it’ll live up to the expectations, but we still have three weeks to go before we reach that show.” I pointed out before we felt our stomachs rumbling and I shared a look with the other women. ”I think that’s a sign that we should grab something to eat.”
”That’s music to my ears.” Cassie responded with a grin before we headed over to the nearby café and Ari sorted us a table in Greek. ”Hopefully the food here lives up to the food we’ve had at every other stop of the tour.”
”It’s not part of a foodie tour like the other places but it’s popular so that should be a good sign.” Ari pointed out as we were led to the table and the night continued on as we enjoyed our food.
Ancient church, Lesbos, Greece

Here we go.
”Lesbos, according to the Greek-American Bombshell on the roster, it’s supposed to be spelled Lesvos because the Greek Alphabet doesn’t have the letter b in it but I guess the bosses couldn’t resist the joke given the number of LGTBQ women that are on the roster, myself included! This is the last stop on the Greece Lightning tour and to say that I’ve had an opponent upgrade since my match against Levana Cade back in the second show of the cycle would be an understatement because I’ve gone from someone who’s flamed out since failing to win the Blast from the Past Tournament to the current number one contender for the Bombshell Roulette Title Kat Jones and it’s Roulette Rules, how fun.”
I commented as I walked through the church.
”Kat I’ll give you some credit, you are a lot more generous than most wrestlers in your position would be! What do I mean? You’re the Number One Contender for the Bombshell Roulette Title, you beat Ms. Jon and Bella Madison in that Labyrinth match fair and square to earn that shot against Diamond Steele at Into the Void XI and the bosses apparently decided to test your mettle against one of the original Bombshell Roulette Champions with this match, I made it clear on Twitter that I wasn’t expecting the bosses to make the match between you and Diamond a Triple Threat if I win this match, I’ve been in this company long enough to know the bosses inside and out and Mark and Christian? They REALLY don’t like having to change their plans, and what did you say?”
Something that I won’t forget.
”You said that you would add me to your title match if I won our match but it was ultimately in the hands of the bosses if/when I won the match, I’ve been in the wrestling business long enough to know that it’s about 75% selfish pricks and that’s me being generous so for someone who’s been around as long as you have to say that Kat? I will say, you might be the first newcomer in a while that I actually get along with from the word go.”
But that won’t matter.
”But as much as I respect you for that Kat, this isn’t my first rodeo in the Roulette Division, I’ve held that title four separate times over the course of a ten year long career for fuck’s sake! And in that time, I’ve learned two things, one: that the Roulette Wheel can be a harsh bitch, even to the woman whose job it is to spin it! Just look at the men’s Roulette Title Match at the beginning of the cycle if you don’t believe me! And the other thing I’ve learned? That respect can only get you so far.”
Story time.
”Let’s take the clock back a few years, shall we? Back to early 2017 to be precise! My good friend and better tag team partner and opponent Amy Santino, then wrestling under her maiden name Amy Marshall, had just won the Bombshell Roulette Title from Veronica Taylor and Christian thought it would be fun to have a best of three series between me and Amy for the Bombshell Roulette Title in a series that would culminate at that year’s Blaze of Glory, Amy won the first match but come the second? I would dethrone Amy and win the title for the second time in my career, I would go on to win the tie breaker at Blaze of Glory only to lose the title and subsequently win in back from Chelsea Payne! There is a point to this story but I wanted to give you some background before I got too it!”
And that point is………
”My point is a concept that someone with your experience should know, respect can only get you so far in singles competition, we are ultimately trying to win a match here Kat and we can’t let our feelings get in the way of that goal, as to whether I’ve made that mistake myself in the past, no comment! It’s been a long ten years Kat, I’ve seen a lot of Bombshells come and go in that time, some go on to great success, others flame out and become a footnote, where do you fall Kat?”
A good question.
”I’m sure you’ll say that you won’t be a footnote in this companies long history but every newcomer has said some variant of that statement at some point, and I’m not saying that you had a bad career so far, you wrestled Roxi Johnson in your Supercard debut and as someone who was Roxi’s first ever opponent in SCW I know how tough she is, you competed in the Bombshell Gauntlet and nearly went all the way, but that’s been a recuring theme for you in SCW Kat.”
Namely?
”You’ve repeatedly fallen at the finish line when it mattered most, you lost the match to Roxi, you lost the Bombshell Gauntlet after Chrystal eliminated you, your win in that labyrinth match was your first taste of significant success because by winning that match, you secured your spot in the Bombshell Roulette Title Match at Into the Void X which does beg the question, will you fall again in this match?”
Good question.
”As I said earlier Kat, if I do win this match I’ll be surprised if the bosses add me to the Bombshell Roulette Title Match at Into the Void XI, pleasantly mind you but you don’t work for the same two guys for a little under ten years without knowing what makes them tick and I’m the only Bombshell on the roster with that claim to fame, at least continuously, but if I do win this match and the bosses decide that the Bombshell Roulette Title Match at Into the Void X needs just a little extra spice, will I complain?”
Hell no.
”A lot has been said about how her reign ended but in all honesty? Krystal Wolfe’s one Roulette Title Reign was the reign I wish I had when I was first starting out in SCW! Kat, I may be getting older but I still have a lot of fight left in me and when I win this match and if I get added to the Bombshell Roulette Title Match, which again, is a big if, I’ll be looking to emulate her success as one last hurrah, make of that what you will.”
It's that simple.
”But you wouldn’t be in this situation if beating you was this easy, would you Kat? You’re a tough woman and a talented wrestler who, on your own, would be a fantastic challenger for Diamond, but it wouldn’t be the first time that a spanner was thrown into the works by my title aspirations, it’s backfired more times than it hasn’t, I’ll be the first to admit that but who knows? Maybe this one time will be the charm?”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
”I’m an old bitch but I’m an old bitch who knows what it takes to succeed in the Bombshell Roulette Division because despite what some people would tell you, you don’t become a four time Bombshell Roulette Champion on a fluke! And this Sunday Kat you’ll find out that the old adage “you can’t teach an old dog new tricks” doesn’t apply to me, Jessie Salco, as you are struck like Blood Lightning! I’ll see you in the ring, or wherever the Roulette Wheel takes us really!”
I left the church as the scene fades.
