A win over Courtney Peirce wasn’t to be sneezed at, truth be told Courtney is very much the future of Sin City Wrestling. Yet, Evie didn’t have the time to celebrate, she didn’t have a spare moment to appreciate the magnitude of her victory. As soon as the bell tolled, her arm was raised in victory, her mind was already thousands of miles away in New York City to be exact. Evie moved out of the ring with haste, not waiting around to watch the end of the show from backstage, she left with Ben and headed off towards the Golden Ring Casino.

This is where I’ll test your memory because if you have been paying attention, you would have known that Evie had gone to Daniel Morgan and asked for a helping hand with a very sticky family matter and well with a hand shake of approval, Mackenzie and Charlotte were more than happy to assist the Aussie in her latest mission. The mission wasn’t simple, but there wasn’t a choice Evie had to do something to save her Niece. There was no way Evie was going to allow a child to suffer, at the hands of her half-sister’s mother, especially not after learning the truth of why Evie was the way that she is now.

While Evie was away wrestling, Charlotte and Mackenzie had moved forward with their plans while Os, Daniel and Nicky kept a close eye on Ayla. She was a flight risk as her eyes stayed glued to her watch, the time ticking down to save her daughter but even if she did want to bull rush her way to New York, she knew she didn’t have the skills or the know how to stop her mother. Evie didn’t waste time once she hit the casino floor she had moved through the motions, she showered, got changed into black jeans and tight black tank top, black ADIDAS shoes and gathered her duffle bag she had stashed there hours before Climax Control.

Once prepared the group convened inside Daniel’s office, standing around the room was Daniel, Os, Nicky, Ben, Ayla, Charlotte, Mackenzie and Evie. Awkward silence filled the room, as this was foreign grounds for some, yet, it was all too familiar for others. Daniel had filled in Os and Nicky the plan, even though they weren’t going with the girls they worked as a unit and if they could offer any advice, it would be taken on with much weight behind it. However, there wasn’t a stone left unturned by Evie in her plans and with the expertise of Charlotte and Mackenzie, the chances of those three leaving something out was next to non-existent. Ben was doing his best to save face, he was nervous he hated this part about Evie’s life and yet, you can’t help the girl you fall for he was defiantly finding it hard to take his girl out of the spy game, and yet finding it even harder to keep the spy out of the girl. Ayla was doing her best to offer a helping hand to Charlotte and Mackenzie who were loading their shoulders up with duffle bags, as Evie just cracked her knuckles over and over. It was to the point the sound drove Mackenzie towards the edge of breaking.

“Are you always this annoying before a job?” Mackenzie shouted.

Evie just looked up at her from her spot on the arm rest of the large black chair in Daniel’s office and flipped Mackenzie the bird. Mackenzie just rolled her eyes, as Charlotte bit down on her bottom lip trying to stifle a laugh. All the males had lifted their heads and turned their attention towards Evie and Mackenzie who even though were friends, still they were both headstrong standoffish females. Two alpha’s who refused to let up even for a good cause.

“Am I’m going to have to knock your heads together?” Charlotte scowled. “Because I don’t handle babysitting duties well.” She smirked, wildly.

Evie and Mackenzie both turned to Charlotte the same screwed up nose expression on their faces as they mocked her. All the while Ayla was looking around the room, she wasn’t sure why everyone was acting like this wasn’t a high stress situation. To her she could barely hold it together as she shouted.

“Shouldn’t we get moving?” Ayla questioned.

Everyone’s attention shifted towards her, as she nervously tucked a strand of her long brown hair behind her left ear. Ayla had made a very valid point, instead of standing around taking the piss out of each other, the girls should have been moving towards the airport to hop on the Jordan’s jet and make a dash towards New York City, yet there was something stopping Evie from rushing back into a life she once lived. Turning away from Ayla, Evie looked back at the reason why she was hesitant as she looked towards her husband. It was never a good feeling knowing you would have to break a promise, but she couldn’t help but feel like he was okay with this one. Moving away from Daniel’s chair, Evie made her way towards Ben and the two stepped to the side to share a quick conversation.

“One piece you hear me” Ben ordered. “I’ll love you in pieces as well, but I’d prefer you to be in one.” He nervously chuckled.

Evie just reached up, rocking forward onto her tippy toes to press her lips to his. This part was never easy. She never knew what to say that would put Ben’s mind at rest, because the truth was simple she couldn’t guarantee she would make it back. Breaking the kiss reluctantly Evie just whispered into his right ear.

“I’ll do everything in my power.” Evie whispered.

That was as good as of promise she could make right now and Ben was happy with that. He knew Evie would do everything she could to come back home safely. It was in her nature but he knew that Evie wanted to return to him, as badly as he wanted her as well. As they shared another kiss, they were interrupted by the cocky sounding voice of Nicky George.

“What no farewell kisses for Nicky Boy?” Nicky George smirked.

Nicky was talking to Charlotte and Mackenzie who were standing in front of him, his arms outstretched as he looked for a hug. Nicky was known to be a funny man, he knew the mood needed lifting and he was trying his best to add in his two cents worth of charm. Charlotte and Mackenzie just shoved past him, shaking their heads in amusement, before they made their way towards the doorway. Ayla followed behind them, while Evie was the last one to leave the room, leaving London Underground and Ben Jordan to stay behind in Vegas and wait it all out. Daniel made his way over towards Ben, as Evie quickly did a look back to check to see if he was alright. But, to be honest she needed to rest her emerald eyes on him one more time, to calm the anger that was brewing inside her.

“It’s like the modern day Charlie’s Angels.” Daniel smiled proudly.

“Yeah but for some reason, it’s less of a let’s save the world, more let’s watch it burn vibe.” Ben chuckled, nervously.

Nicky George just slapped Ben on the chest with his left palm, his right arm outstretched with a glass of the whisky and without being rude Ben took it and swigged the liquid down in one swift mouthful.

The four hour flight to New York, felt like a blink of the eye, no sooner had they taken off from Vegas, the wheels of the Jordan’s jet kissed the private runway outside the main part of New York City. The flight time wasn’t wasted however, as Charlotte, Mackenzie and Evie went over the plan again and again, troubleshooting ideas. The plan was simple, storm the building where Evie’s niece was being held hostage and deal with whatever comes their way as it does. They already had eyes in the sky as Calista could remotely hack into the cameras around New York City and lucky for Evie there were plenty. They knew there was about eight bodies in total in the building, but beyond the top two levels, they would have to navigate before they hit the basement the man / woman power was unaccounted for. It was the uncertainty of the basement level that had Evie breaking a sweat, it wasn’t something she was used to. She had been on countless missions and never once felt as conflicted as she did right now. I guess it was to be expected as she didn’t just have her life in her hands right now, there were five others she was responsible for. Even if Mackenzie and Charlotte were old enough and ugly enough to look after themselves, Evie had made a promise to Daniel to bring them back unharmed.

Ayla was a fish out of water in this environment, but she managed to talk herself into tagging along because she swore black and blue that her daughter wouldn’t come willingly with Evie as she didn’t know who she was. That sounded ridiculous to Evie, her niece was all of two years old for crying out loud, but there was a softness in her heart when it came to Ayla and for some reason in a weird wacky way this mission could have been some valuable family bonding time between the two of them. Mackenzie made her feelings vocal from the get go, Ayla wasn’t allowed into the building until all three of them gave her the all clear over the coms. Ayla reluctantly agreed, while Evie could see the sense in what Mackenzie was saying.

The four girls piled out of the plane and into a car and with the morning light beaming over the horizon they knew they had to move quickly to get to their accommodation. They couldn’t risk being noticed, they couldn’t put Ayla’s daughter in danger like that and lucky for the girls, the Jordan’s still owned real estate in New York. The day ticked away painfully, as they waited for the day to turn into night once more. The timeline ticking down, leaving five days left for Ayla to come up with 40 million dollars or kiss her daughter goodbye forever, but Evie had other ideas. As the hours boiled over the moment 7pm hit their watches, Evie, Mackenzie and Charlotte started to get ready. They showered, changed into all black, each with their own little personal touches. Mackenzie had more of a pantsuit get up, while Charlotte opted for a tank top and long black jeans, a large coat draped over her shoulders to help conceal her weaponry from the nosey on lookers they would pass on their way to their cars. Evie was in all black tight leather pants, a black vest, that she delicately lined with knives, hiding the black handles perfectly as they slipped into the vest seamlessly. Over her shoulders was black leather jacket that she hiding away two loaded guns in the inside pockets. As Ayla watched the girls assemble in the main living room of the penthouse apartment that overlooks central park, she couldn’t help but swallow hard as they checked over their weapons of choice. Evie checked her knives, and double checked her hand guns while Mackenzie, just rolled her wrists loosening them up, she too had a small knife but she was more of hands on type of girl. Mackenzie was wrapping a piece of twine up into a small pocket sized loop.

“You don’t think you’ll have to use any of that right?” Ayla questioned.

Mackenzie couldn’t hide her smirk, but she bit her tongue and didn’t fire back with any witty remarks. All three of them looked at one another, before looking back down at Ayla who was seated in front of the TV nervously bouncing her right leg up and down trying to make time fly by. Evie broke away from Mackenzie and Charlotte and made her way over towards her sister, she dropped down to her knees so she could be at her level as she spoke.

“I get it, you’re nervous… but we won’t do anything to put your daughter at risk.” Evie tried to sound reassuring. “But you need to understand, we aren’t going to go in unprepared.” She sighed. “Just think like this… in about two hours’ time, you’ll have your daughter back… focus on that and that alone.” Evie said sternly.

Evie went to stand up, but Ayla placed her right hand on top of Evie’s shoulder holding her there for a moment. The two of them exchange a weird glance. Evie wasn’t used to this, she wasn’t fit to be a big sister to anyone, especially to a half blood like Ayla but she felt sympathy towards her. She knew what it was like to grow up in this world first hand, she knew what it was like to be locked in a room for months on end and she knew what it was like to be held for ransom. Ayla looked Evie directly in the eye before she parted her dry lips to speak.

“Her name is Quinn.” Ayla whispered.

Evie wanted to say that was a beautiful name, but she couldn’t bring herself to do it, it was too raw for her to comprehend. She did her best to fire off a convincing smile before she made her way back up to her feet, standing up she dusted herself off and turned her attention back towards Mackenzie and Charlotte. Charlotte was quick to clear the awkward silence that had surrounded them.

“Alright… chop, chop you lot.” Charlotte huffed. “I don’t have all night.” She followed with a sigh.

Evie moved across the room and smiled towards Charlotte, who was looking down at her watch.

“What’s the rush? You got a hot date or something?” Evie teased.

Charlotte moved towards the door, looking to get this show on the road before she turned back to look at Mackenzie who was smirking wildly.

“I just prefer Vegas to this shit heap.” Charlotte lashed out.

Before Charlotte could walk out of the apartment Mackenzie fired towards her in the driest sarcastic tone of all time.

“Ah come on, you’re not in a rush to get back in time to catch Cassian are you?” Mackenzie fired off with a smile.

Charlotte didn’t reply, not a single word escaped her lips as she swung the door open and let it slam shut behind her. Mackenzie turned to Evie with a wild smile on her face, as she was pleased with her efforts in annoying Charlotte. Turning back around, Evie looked at her sister and with the simple nod of her head she let Ayla know that it was show time. Evie turned back towards Mackenzie but she too had already left the apartment and with a last minute watch check 8pm flashed up before Evie’s emerald eyes. Evie watched as Ayla gathered her things as she knew they weren’t coming back here, before she headed towards the door Evie took up the tail end of the modern day Charlie’s angels as three of them headed into an unknown battle.

It took less than forty minutes to drive across town to the location they were looking for in New York, they were making great time considering the hustle and bustle of New York City at night. The shift in scenery had changed dramatically as they left the beautiful Chelsea area and moved into the abandoned, lesson flamboyant streets of Harlem. Evie had rolled her car to a stop and without a single word exchanged, Mackenzie, Charlotte and Evie all got out of the car and moved forward with the plan. Ayla knew what she had to do as she moved to the driver’s seat of the car and moved it to a few blocks over. Ayla had to stay out of sight and out of mind, the last thing any of the three woman wanted was for her to get into harm’s way or get involved and make a mess of things.

Evie turned to look at Mackenzie who was chomping at the bit to get inside the brown apartment block building that was right in front of her eyes. Charlotte was adjusting her ear piece, whilst Evie moved her hands up and hooked her thumbs into the back of her vest. They knew what needed to be done. They knew the first floor they needed to hit was the top floor and lucky for them, the fire escape stairs were already drawn down and ready to be climbed. It was the advantage of this area, the buildings were ill maintained and that meant easier to break into. Yet, Evie couldn’t help but shake the feeling that this was trap, it all seemed to easy but then again she was dealing with a doctor, not a crazed assassin, not an evil mob boss and even know the she had at least eight foot soldiers they couldn’t have been anyone of worth or anyone that Evie had known because she made damn sure she destroyed anyone worth a pinch of salt when she went on her mission to watch her father’s empire crumble.

With a simple nod of the head the three girls moved towards the building like hungry cats in the night, on the hunt. Not a sound was made between the trio, as they scaled the stairwell, not a single echo or thud was caused as they stepped lightly on the metal making their way towards the top floor of this three story building. Once they hit the top, they shadowed the building, snaking along the brick work before they reached a curtained off window. Evie moved towards it, trying to sneak a peek inside but the blacked out curtains made it impossible to judge what was going on inside. She placed a small black box on the window and within seconds she received a message through her ear piece from Calista who was working from home heavily pregnant to give the all clear.

“The heat sensors are picking up four bodies.” Calista whispered.

Evie turned to look at Mackenzie who was ready for war, whilst Charlotte couldn’t wipe the smile from her face either. They had missed being out in the field it seemed as the both tried to bull rush the window, but Evie beat them too it as she drove her right foot in the centre of the glass, shattering it into pieces. If the people inside didn’t know they were in town they sure did now. Evie smashed out the rest of the glass before she made her way through the window, pushing the curtain to the side and she was met with a shift fist to the side of her face for her efforts. Followed by a swift attempt to stab her with a pig stick. The young man that delivered the first attack didn’t stay on his feet for long as Charlotte knocked him on his arse with a swift right hook of her own. Mackenzie crunched the base of her heel down on the guys face for good measure, making sure he stayed out cold before she moved towards the next two that started to rush their way. Evie ducked the swing from the second guy, but was quick to wrap her hands around his neck as she brushed past her and with a single jerk, his body crumpled up into a heap as he fell on the ground where he stood.

Mackenzie drove her foot in the third guy’s midsection and Charlotte wasted very little time in introducing his face into the coffee table, his nose breaking on impact as he proceeded to go night on the kitchen floor. Evie instructed the girls to zip tie them up, Mackenzie was already working on the first attacker, as Charlotte made quick work on the third. The girls kept their heads on a swivel as Calista was convinced there was a fourth one with them on this level. Evie snaked through the kitchen and moved past a row of bedrooms and when she hit the end of the top floor, could hear a voice sound out from behind a door, a bathroom door as she could tell from the muffled echo that came behind it.

“She’s here.” The guy mumbled.

Before he could finish alerting whomever he was on the phone to, Evie used her full body weight to plough the door inwards knocking him off his feet and sending him crashing to the floor. The guy started to swing back, but Evie viciously, without any remorse drove her foot into the bottom of his nose and drove upwards with an almighty kick. The bruising was instant as Evie watched his face turn from white, to blue. Dropping to her knees, she gathered his hands and zipped them together before she wedged another zip tie into the one around his wrists and tied him to a leg of the free standing hand basin.

“Who said you got to have all the fun without us?” Mackenzie said with a smirk.

She was now standing behind Evie, a smile from ear to ear as she watched the man that Evie had just craved the face in on, squirm in pain. He wasn’t dead, he can’t be dead… as murder isn’t allowed on the rules page. So, consider him sleeping. Charlotte had moved towards them but she didn’t get the chance to make it to them as the sound of footsteps rushed the internal stairwell. The girls moved towards the stairs and saw three people rushing up them, guns drawn ready to shoot but Mackenzie wouldn’t allow it, as she sprung to action leaping over the rails of the stairs she dropped down on top of them. The third was greeted with the pointy end of Evie’s knife as he took a swing at Charlotte. Evie slammed her left hand into the base of her knife, to drive it into his spine and before he could gasp for his next gulp of air, Charlotte and introduced his face to her right knee. Knocking him out cold. Mackenzie was now wrestling with the two others as they tried to overpower her, but Charlotte leaped towards the taller of the two knocking him on his arse before she crunched her foot into the side of his knee breaking it on impact. As he fell down to one knee, Charlotte swiftly kicked his head in.

Evie looked over at Charlotte impressed with her work, as she smirked towards her. Evie moved to help Mackenzie, but Mackenzie had already made light work out of him as she put him in a choke hold and within seconds he was out to it.

“I thought you said this might be dangerous?” Charlotte smirked.

She was right it had been pretty light work as of right now, or maybe the three of them were just that damn good that all of the excitement of it all had lost a little of its shine of how predictable the “bad guys” were. As Mackenzie finished zip tying the last guy up, she motioned to Charlotte to head back up stairs and check it all out. Mackenzie moved to the middle floor as Evie made her way down to the bottom floor. The basement. The level she had no idea what she was walking into as they weren’t able to study a floor plan, or ready any heat signatures or receive any footage from even with all of Calista’s cyber digging. She waited for both Charlotte and Mackenzie to come back to her and as they quickly put together a plan, Evie took a step forward she reached down to grab hold of the door handle to open it. Praying for a miracle that it wasn’t hooked up to some sort of explosive. Yet, before she could even attempt to twist the door handle, the door opened inwards and standing before her was the face of a lady that she hadn’t seen for years.

There she was, the blond hair, the green eyes, the short slender build of a woman who had cared for Evie in times when others had just told her to suck it up. There was the woman who had operated on Evie who removed her ovaries, to had stolen her chance to have children, but it was also the woman who treated her burns, stitched up her cuts, iced her bruises she was like a second mother to her at times the little scared teenage girl in Evie wanted to reach out and hug her, but the evil sadistic pissed off hurt grown woman wanted to reach out and wrap both hands around her neck and wring the life out of her.

Evie had to stop herself and her mind from racing. She couldn’t believe it. It’s not to say that she didn’t believe Ayla’s story but for her whole life growing up the woman who was standing in front of her had been a hero, had been a saint and now she was the lady who single handedly took everything away from her?

“Evie darling.” Her voice was sickly sweet.

Veronica had always had a soft tone, it helped with her caring persona. Evie just double blinked letting it all sink in before she shook her head from side to side as if to sweep the cobwebs out from her memories and move on with the task at hand. Charlotte and Mackenzie stayed close by, but still managed to give Evie the space she deserved.

“I see you made light work of the boys.” Veronica smiled. “I knew you would.” She sighed.

Veronica took a step back into the room, leading Evie to follow. The light flickered and in the far right corner she could see her niece Quinn.  She didn’t seem frightened she didn’t seem at all concerned as she played with her dolls.

“I’m here for her.” Evie scowled. “So take your warm smiles and compliments elsewhere, preferably your arse and fuck off.” She huffed.

Charlotte and Mackenzie followed Evie into the room, Mackenzie snaked around the back of Veronica, trapping her in a triangle but Veronica didn’t seem fazed. In fact she completely ignored Charlotte and Mackenzie as her green eyes stayed stuck on Evie. Her emotions were filled with joy but Evie wasn’t buying it.

“Oh I can’t let you take Quinn away from me Evie… she means so much to me.” Veronica smiled.

Veronica looked back at her granddaughter for a moment, her face lighting up with joy as she watched her play with her toys.

“I think you mean she means a lot of money to you.” Evie barked back.

Veronica just smiled again as she turned back to look at Evie. She pushed a strand of her blonde hair out of her eyes and tucked it behind her right ear. Evie’s emerald eyes didn’t shift from her. If Veronica moved or even flinched she was on her.

“Oh so I take it you know about your father’s inheritance.” Veronica chuffed. “Who knew he would leave everything he was worth to a granddaughter he never got to meet… thanks to you.” Her tone changed.

The friendly tone in Veronica's voice shifted to cold and vindictive. Evie had never heard it before, but once again she had been blinded by the good doctor act.

“I Guess Quinn has you to thank for that. Doesn’t she?” Veronica sighed.

She moved towards Evie, but Evie didn’t rock back as she stayed in place. Her feet planted firmly on the floor. Charlotte watched as Evie’s fists started to clench and with a simple tilt of her head she let Mackenzie aware of the state of mind Evie was swirling towards.

“I guess sacrifices have to be made… like the one you’re making now.” Veronica beamed.

Evie’s right eyebrow arched as she looked towards Veronica confused by her statement. Veronica knew this was the reaction she would get from Evie so she lapped it up.

“Wait… let me guess… Ayla didn’t tell you?” Veronica beamed. “So, typical of my daughter to only think of herself… forgive me Evie, she gets that trait from her father I swear.” She smiled.

Evie didn’t have time for a trip down memory lane, she didn’t have time for Veronica to read the family traits out. She wanted answers, stepping up so she was basically nose to nose with her, Evie’s blood red lips parted as she spoke through gritted teeth.

“What are you talking about?” Evie snarled.

Her emerald eyes locked on her, Evie wanted to know the truth. Charlotte and Mackenzie moved in as well as they saw Veronica go for a knife that was poking out of her pocket. They weren’t sure if Evie had missed it or not as she was blindly being fed a family story.

“You see I gave Ayla a choice… Quinn’s safety… for sixty million dollars… I figured that would compensate me for all the heartache I have been feeling since your father’s untimely death.” Veronica howled. “Yet, I told the little bitch that she couldn’t go running to you for help… because I told her if I ever saw your face again, I would ruin you.” She laughed, softly.

Veronica took a step back, she wasn’t afraid of Evie in fact she matched her hot headed attitude. Veronica turned on her heels and made her way over towards a large white fridge that was standing in the opposite corner to Quinn.

“More than you already have? I find that very unlikely.” Evie scoffed. “Now just shut the fuck up and hand her over… we’ll be taking Quinn and be on our merry way. Yeah?” She threatened.

Evie moved towards the little girl, but her direct line of eye sight was pulled away from her niece as she watched Veronica open the large standing fridge door. Freezing cold air spilled from the opening exposing that it was actually a freezer. Veronica very confidently turned her back towards Evie as she spoke, trying to find something she was looking for in the freezer.

“Oh… little Evie… trust me… what your sister failed to tell you… what your sister knew damn well of what I had… is going to cripple you, for the rest of your miserable days.” Veronica said proudly.

Veronica had found what she was looking for, reaching in she grabbed two tubes that were frozen she held them in her right hand as she spun around on her heels. The smile on her face was cold, her intentions were filled with pain as she parted her lips to explain herself.

“You see I kept these… when I took away your chance to have children after finding out that your father was going to leave his fortune to an uncreated child.” Veronica smiled. “Oh what, you don’t recognize them? Forgive me… these are your children, or well could have been… you see if you just would have handed Ayla the money you owe me. I would have sent them over to you, all tucked away in a freezer so you and your pathetic husband could have attempted to create a family… your own family, a real family with your own eggs… but no, Ayla knew the risk of bringing you here, bringing you into this and well… that chance to be the mother you have always wanted to be has once again slipped through your fingers.” She smirked wildly.

Evie was frozen stiff she couldn’t move as her eyes darted down to Veronica’s right hand. It couldn’t be true and if it was the chance of those eggs that had been frozen for well over sixteen years couldn’t be worth anything, could they? Evie took a step forward, before taking half a step back her left hand raised as she reached out towards Veronica. She wanted them, she wanted her chance to have a child and she was going to do everything she could to bring those two tubes home. As Evie ripped herself apart internally she watched on as the two tubes slipped from Veronica’s hands and plummeted towards the floor.

“Oh and now it appears that it has slipped through my mine.” Veronica's words dripped with poison.

Evie made a mad dash across the room trying to catch them before they hit the cold floor but she didn’t make it in time. The two glass tubes shattered into a million pieces. Skidding to her knees, Evie went to reach towards them. She wasn’t sure why she wanted to scoop up what was left of them, she couldn’t help herself. Her last chance of becoming a mother was now dying on the floor.

Looking up from the floor Evie’s eyes welled up she didn’t know if this was some sick joke, she didn’t know if Veronica was telling the truth. Hell Evie didn’t know what was fact or fiction anymore. All she knew is that she was angry and with one foul swoop, she launched herself back up to her feet. And ploughed herself towards Veronica, she whipped one of her knives out from the vest and had the blade jammed up against Veronica’s throat.

“YOU’RE LYING” Evie shouted. “TELL ME YOU’RE LYING!” She shrieked in pain.

As Evie pressed Veronica up against the wall she drove the side of her blade into her throat, a small streak of blood started to pool. Veronica didn’t fear Evie, she just looked directly into her eyes and smiled. She knew if she couldn’t get the money she wanted, she wanted death but before she left Veronica made damn sure she ruined everyone else’s lives the way they had ruined hers.

“Ask her.” Veronica gurgled as she spoke.

Evie watched as Veronica’s eyes shifted from Evie to across the room towards the doorway. Evie pulled her eyes away from Veronica to look back over her shoulder to see a pale Ayla staring at her shaking.

“Evie…” Ayla panted. “I can explain.” She pleaded.

Mackenzie moved towards Evie but she wasn’t fast enough. She watched as Evie’s eyes flashed with betrayal, hurt and coldness. She was seething, Veronica’s smile disappeared as Evie drove the knife up to her throat once more, applying more pressure before a cracking sound filled the room. Charlotte and Mackenzie already knew what had happened they had heard that sound time and time again. Charlotte made her way towards Ayla as she shouted.

“EVIE!!! NOOOO!!!” Ayla cried.

It was too late, it was far too late for Ayla to try and save her mother because even with her timely appearance all Evie could do was picture her face as she looked towards Veronica. It was over in an instant and Veronica just simply dropped to the floor, piling up on top of herself. Mackenzie reached Evie grabbing her and pulling her away from Veronica who was gasping for air still holding on to life. Meanwhile Charlotte had dragged Ayla into the room and pushed her over towards her daughter. Once Ayla’s eyes laid on Quinn she made light work of the distance between herself and her daughter. Scooping her up in her arms Ayla cradled her bursting into tears as they reunited. Evie just turned around, she saw the happiness in Ayla’s eyes but she couldn’t return the joy. She couldn’t return the love, ducking her head down Evie just made her way towards the exit. She needed fresh air, she needed the cold New York air on her face so she could feel something other than the pure rage that was flowing through her veins coursing like hot lava.

Evie needed to get the fuck out of this city, she needed to head to Vegas to be with the only person who could calm her. She needed her Husband. She needed Ben Jordan.

There was no real rush to get back to the plane, no one was chasing them, yet Evie couldn’t stop herself from speeding. The way she took corners, it flung Mackenzie, Ayla and Quinn into each other as if they were playing an unofficial game of backseat corners. Evie’s bloodied hands gripped the wheel as she tried to force down the words that Ayla’s mother had just said to her, it was taking every ounce of strength in her body to lash out towards her sister, but she didn’t have the words right now she didn’t have the time. Evie just wanted to get back to the plane, get back to Vegas and get away from New York City a city she once loved, a city that held so many precious memories of her and Ben’s early days. Yet, not all she could taste was deceit, all she could feel was lies, it crippled her as the words played over and over in her mind. As he clouded mind was elsewhere, Evie almost missed a turn, but she quickly shifted down and hit the corner at top speed, sending the passengers in the backseat to tussle around before Charlotte shouted towards Evie.

“Are you trying to get us all killed?” Charlotte snarled. “Because I don’t fancy dying with you lot.” She huffed.

Evie just looked over towards Charlotte, before making the final turn into the private airport proceeding alongside the tarmac before pulling up in a swift stop before the parking garage where the rich and famous housed their vehicles before jetting off on super holidays in their private jets. Without a care, she rolled up towards the parking space that she and Ben rented, she waited for the door to roll up before she pulled the car into park. As soon as the tyres came to a halt, Evie powered down the vehicle and she was out of the car. She didn’t muck around as she moved towards the boot lifting it up before she started to pile out their belongings. Mackenzie knew Evie was furious, she could sense it but not just that it was written all over her face as Evie’s emerald eyed never left Ayla. It was as if she was sizing her up, it was as if she was the next meal set in Evie’s sights.

Charlotte looked towards Mackenzie, who picked up the silent message she was sending. Both girls of London Underground scooped up their belongings and before Mackenzie pushed Ayla who had Quinn in her arms towards the direction of the Jordan’s plane. Turning back to look towards Evie, Charlotte was trying to see what the holdup was, but she didn’t need to wait for answers as she could already tell what was wrong with Evie. Evie had slammed the trunk of the car down, her right hand coming up to her side as she clutched it, before she raised her hand up towards her, blood was dotted over Evie’s open palm. She has been sliced in the siege to take back little Quinn and hadn’t bothered to check the pain that was radiating through her body until now.

Once Evie realised that she was bleeding, that’s when her eyes saw red. Wiping the blood off her hand using her shirt, Evie swung her duffle bag over her shoulder before she made a mad rush towards Ayla. She was livid. Her heart was pounding as she caught up to Ayla and Mackenzie, there was not time for rational thinking, Evie couldn’t see out of the forest through the trees. She didn’t care that Ayla was cradling her niece in her hands, all she wanted was answers, and she needed answers so she demanded them.

“HOW COULD YOU?” Evie screamed.

Ayla spun around carefully, holding onto Quinn who was fast asleep in her mother’s arms. She saw the look of fury in Evie’s eyes and she knew her sister was unpredictable, she knew damn well what Evie was capable of. She killed their father for crying out loud. Ayla took a step back, but she didn’t have to add distance between herself and her sister, as Mackenzie was now standing between them both.

“Evie… please…I didn’t have a choice.” Ayla’s voice buckled.

Ayla stood behind Mackenzie, using her as a shield. Mackenzie kept taking steps back but not to get away from Evie but to continue them on their path towards the Jordan’s jet. Evie didn’t care as she ate up the space between them and through gritted teeth she shouted towards her sister over Mackenzie’s shoulder.

“You HAD a choice, you’ve ALWAYS had a choice.” Evie howled

Evie launched towards Ayla, perhaps she had forgotten all about Quinn in her blinded rage about having her chance to have children, her own children with Ben ripped out from underneath her again. That didn’t stop Evie from firing straight towards Ayla, with her right hand Evie looked as if she wanted to wrap her fingers around Ayla’s throat but Mackenzie quickly caught her arm mid swing, yanking on it and forcefully throwing it back towards Evie.

“EVIE NO!” Mackenzie spoke sternly. “You don’t want to do this.” She quickly followed up.

Mackenzie and Evie were now nose to nose, as Ayla ran towards the plane. Evie forced her hand from Mackenzie’s grip her eyes lifting from her to watch Ayla board her plane a sick and demented smirk on her face.

“Oh I think I do.” Evie trailed off.

Evie went to side step Mackenzie, the mission was simple hurt Ayla. However as Evie went to take a step forward the world went pitch black around her.

WHACK!

The Aussie hit the deck as Charlotte stood over a satisfied smile beaming on her face.

“That should shut her up.” Charlotte smirked.

Mackenzie looked up at Charlotte with a smile, but a hint of concern in her eyes.

“Took you look enough.” Mackenzie chuckled.

Charlotte just shrugged her shoulders and the two girls got to work as they scooped the lifeless Evie up and dragged her towards the plane. Now, they just had to get them both to Vegas without any more fights erupting.

It was the wee hours of the morning in Vegas and Jordan's jet was back on the tarmac across from the hustle and bustle of the Vegas strip. Ben had watched the flight tracker on his phone carefully so he knew exactly where his wife was and when she was going to land. He had made his way to the airport, received clearance and made his way over towards the hanger he rented whilst in town. Only Daniel from London Underground had travelled with Ben as the two males watched as the plane parked up, the final checks were done before the door popped open and out the girls walked. Ayla was first with Quinn in her hands, Charlotte followed closely keeping herself between Ayla and Evie at all times. Mackenzie was third to walk down the steps her feet hitting the Vegas ground bringing a half smile to her face. The four girls made their way towards Daniel and Ben thankful to be alive and back with people they knew. Ben couldn’t help but notice the absence of his wife, he looked towards the plane with a painful look in his usual calm blue eyes.

“Where’s Evie?” Ben question.

The hint of fear was evident in his tone. Mackenzie just sighed and did her best to reassure him. Charlotte moved Ayla and Quinn to the side so she couldn’t hear what  Mackenzie was about to say.

“She’ll be okay physically, Charlotte stitched her up wonderfully… a small knife wound, nothing she hasn’t already had a hundred times before.” Mackenzie smiled, but quickly continued. “Although mentally… your wife is going to be fucked.” She grimaced.

Ben looked down at Mackenzie, his eyebrows coming together as if to question her words.

“Turns out old half blood isn’t as sweet and innocent as she appears.” Mackenzie spat out. “Anyways, it’s none of my fucking business but you’ll probably have to go up and collect Evie… we had to knock her out to get her on the plane, or other wise she was going to neck this one.” She sighed.

Mackenzie just tapped Ben on the shoulder as if to say “you’re in for a rough one” but Ben just shrugged it off before making his way towards his jet. As he made it to the bottom step, he looked up to see Evie making her way out of the doorway. She stumbled down the first step before Ben reached her in the middle, catching her in his arms. Evie just wrapped her arms around him, holding on as tightly as she could muster.  She felt like shit, her side was stinging while the back of her head was pounding. Looking over Ben’s shoulder she saw Charlotte and Mackenzie standing with Daniel telling him all the details while Ayla stood to the side checking over Quinn in the daylight  to make sure she was okay. Ben tried to pull away from the hug to look down at his wife, but Evie refused to let him go.

“You okay, Eves?” Ben whispered.

Evie didn’t have words right now, she just shook her head to say no. She wasn’t okay. Even though she had saved her niece she had lost their chance of having a baby. Evie hated harping on about it, but she was gutted over and over again. Ben wrapped his arms around her tightly too scared to let her go, as he felt his wife melt into his arms. Ben was her safe place and he knew all too well being wrapped up in his arms was all she wanted to do right now. He would have to wait a little longer for answers but Ben knew his wife wouldn’t hold them in for long. As Ben lifted Evie off her feet he walked her down the last two steps before putting her back on solid ground. She moved away from him to look him in the eyes, he could see the pain behind them. However before she could say anything Ayla had made her way up behind them.

“Evie, please.” Ayla spoke. “I need to explain.” She rushed her words.

As Ayla made bold steps towards her sister, Evie took a step back running into Ben who rested his hands on her shoulders.

“You... you got it all, you have it all.” Evie’s voice started to break. “Your family took away my choices, you took away my voice just to use me... over and over again.” An aching creak escaped her lips.

Ayla took a step back but before she could speak Evie cut her off.

“Stay the fuck away from me. You hear me? We are done, we are so fucking done.” Evie whispered.

Ben knew Evie had hit the next level mad because she was being quiet, defensive, and pushing people away. That’s how he knew Ayla had done her dash with Evie. If she wanted you around, she would be vocal. Evie was a passionate fighter but when she spoke to Ayla she was nothing but defeated. Ben watched as Ayla went to speak, but he raised his right index finger to stop her. She took the hint and spun on her heels before, collecting her belongings, picking up her daughter and making her way across the tarmac towards the exit. Evie watched on even though she hated every single fibre in Ayla’s being right now, she still looked on as she walked out of her life… hopefully for good. If she knew what was good for her.

“Time for a drink.” Daniel spoke out loud. “Lucky I know a place that’s local.” He chuckled.

Ben gave Daniel a look that said they would catch up, it was an unwritten language males could understand in the form of eyebrow talk. Charlotte, Mackenzie and Daniel headed off towards the building so they could make their way back to the two cars that were waiting. Evie just stayed behind, she knew she had to thank the girls for their help but right now she was speechless. Ben just reached down and held her hand, rubbing his thumb over the back of it to soothe her. They were in for a rough few weeks, he knew this from the broken look in her eyes.

The scene opened up on the back deck of the Jordan’s beautiful lakeside home. The sun was setting, tucking itself in for the night while the stars were just starting to wake up and glitter the night sky with their greatness. The moon was half, but still it was glowing fighting for its time in the sky as the sun still held on for as long as it could. Evie could be seen making her way towards the camera, she was dressed in a long floor length blood red dress, her long black hair was down and curled flowing in the breeze on top of her head she wore a crown of thorns that had been pushed into her skull hard enough to cause some streaks of blood to drool down her forehead. Evie didn’t waste any time once she knew the camera was on her and recording she parted her blood red lips and she started to speak as she moved towards the camera.

“Kate… Kate… Kate…” Evie sighed. “How many fucking times? You run your mouth over and over and you always end up in the same situations in the same messes and this Sunday night at High Stakes will be no different. You might think that you have gotten your way with this match, you might think this is your perfect way to redeem yourself when it comes to your win loss track record when it comes to standing across the ring from me… but I can assure you, this Sunday night won’t be your return to glory, it won’t be your moment to shine… it will be your downfall it will be your reminder… it will be your FINAL wake up call.” She snarled.

Evie moved towards the camera, letting her hair get caught up in the cool evening breeze.

“How many times do we have to repeat the same process? You tell the world that you hate me, but then on the other hand you tell the world that you respect me… you don’t respect me and you sure as fuck don’t hate me. You envy me, you want to be me and no matter how hard you try to kick your career off in the right direction, you always make it to the final hurdle that stops you reaching your potential and lately that hurdle has been me… Sunday night won’t be no fucking different you think that this big win for you is just around the corner but I can promise you, you’re sadly fucking mistaken. For all your effort and all you might will be ripped to shreds once again and you’ll be left lying flat on your back wondering where it all went wrong for you.” Evie smiled.

Evie approached the camera, a wild smile on her face.

“I’ll tell you exactly where you went wrong. Every time you opened your mouth about me, every time you tried to extend an olive branch in my direction.  You think anyone is buying this crap about you hating me? You think people are buying your stories about how you want to best me? It’s bullshit you want to be me, you want to be friends with me… you want me to see you as an equal that’s why you constantly kiss my arse that’s why you’re constantly in my fucking business… it’s why you’re always inserting yourself in my line of sight, because you're begging to be accepted. You might preach greatness but I know… the cockiness that you speak is formulated off a weak foundation. Although you don’t lack drive, you’re driven off false confidence. You know damn well no matter how many times you stand across the ring from me, you’ll always be second, you’ll always be beaten.” Evie smirked.

She swept a lock of her long black brown hair behind her right ear, her focus didn’t shift from the camera's lens.

“I said this last time we came face to face… you might have beaten me and stopped me from winning the Internet championship, but since then… you’ve been in my rear view mirror. Your victory over me didn’t hinder me, it didn’t cripple me it didn’t stop me and while you’ve been stuck in the midcard… I’ve been dominating the main events. I’ve been headlining shows, I’ve been winning tournaments, I’ve become a two time World Bombshell Champion… my last reign put the bombshell roster back on the fucking map. What have you done? Nothing… you haven’t stepped up, you’ve stepped back… you’re stuck in fucking limbo and come Sunday night, you’ll reach out for greatness once again… only to have your hand slapped away.” Evie smirked, wildly.

Evie moved towards the camera, the night starting to settle in as the moon moved across the sky.

“There is no chance in hell you're going to advance past me at High Stakes, there is no chance in hell you're going to be granted a chance to be seen as equal to me. You will be beaten once more the only difference is this time you’ll be beaten within an inch of your life. You’ll be left hanging in a balance because there are no rules, no holds banished, no disqualifications. I can and I fucking will do everything in my power to destroy you. I will take everything you pride yourself on and destroy it. There won’t be time for Showtime Kate to make an appearance there won’t be time for a Diamond display because I will and trust me I fucking guarantee this I will crush your fucking throat. I will rip out your vocal cords I will use them to sing you a fucking song of respect. I will use them to teach you a fucking lesson of knowing your worth and what are you worth to Sin City Wrestling? Nothing and what are you worth to me Kate, even fucking less. You're just an annoying little pissant who refuses to give up, when time and time again the world has shown you… we don’t want you here! We don’t need you here and your dreams of becoming the next big thing in Sin City Wrestling have already expired, you’re old news and no matter how many times you try and reinvent yourself, you’ll still be a washed up wanna be mermaid who believes she is worth a pinch of shit. News flash… no one gives a shit, they never have and they never win.” Evie snarled, evilly.

Evie moved along the deck, turning to the lake was now the backdrop of her promotional video. It was her happy place, it’s where she felt most at ease. With a quick break to ponder on what to say next, Evie didn’t waste the viewers time as she quickly moved on.

“Once I end you at High Stakes and once James polishes off Teddy in a wrestling classic and takes his Internet Championship away from him… you should do us all a favour. Pack your bags and fuck off. Take time away from the spotlight and come back when you have your heads fucking checked. You need the break, you need to clear your minds and come back when you know what path you want to walk along because this choppy, good girl bad girl routine is doing everyone’s fucking head in. Trust me. This wishy washy attempt to stay in the spotlight is only extinguishing your own fucking flames. You're just too caught up in being the best to see what’s in front of you. You’re too caught up with a reality that isn’t going to happen for you to notice what you have and what you have is limited talent… what you have is low level at best, you should stick to that… you should own that, you shouldn’t try and puff out your chest and claim to world that you’re the best bombshell on this roster for twenty fucking twenty because what have you done? What did you do that was so ground shaking this year? Nothing absolutely nothing and that trend won’t change on Sunday… your luck won’t shift, your chances of beating me will be sour and there is nothing you can do about it. It’s destiny Kate.” Evie paused.

She smirked towards the camera, the look of the devil in her emerald eyes.

“Everytime we step inside the ring it doesn’t matter. I will always walk out far better off than you. You might have pinned me once, but since then… losing hasn’t really been in my deck of cards you on the other hand? You get on a roll of wins and when it matters the most you trip, stumble and fucking fall. High Stakes reads the same for you. Sunday won’t be your time to shine, it won’t be your chance to steal the show… it will be a lesson that all dreams are replaced with nightmares and Kate… I am your forever nightmare I am the one bombshell that has your fucking number. I am the bombshell that drives you insane because you know you can’t and you will never be as great as me… you won’t ever step close to being anything like me, you will always been in the shadows you will always be the understudy you’ll always be second best and that fucking eats you alive. My fucking exsistance eats you alive and you can’t fucking stand it.” Evil snarled.

She looked towards the camera with a smirk so wild it just screamed of evil.

“That’s why this Sunday night when you have the chance to silence me… you’ll fail because I cripple you with fear. No matter what you throw at me, no matter what you do to me at High Stakes, I will laugh in your face as you attempt to make me feel anything other than sympathy for you. All those moves you have planned on your head, all those weapons you think you’re going to use to hurt me… will be nothing more than a flesh wound… for what I do to you will cut deeper when I expose you for the fraud that you are. When I cut you open and gut you like a fucking fish in front of a live audience, in front of the world… your weaknesses will be exposed… your lack of talent will be highlighted and once again you’ll be my little bitch.” Evie smirked.

Evie tilted her head to the side adjusting her crown so that more blood started to trickle down her face.

“Heavy is the head that wears the crown of violence and believe me Kate… you wouldn’t be able to stand up if you had this weight upon your shoulders. So, I’ll be a darling and carry it for you… I’ll be a darling and end your suffering this Sunday night at High Stakes. Then once again I’ll leave you in the shadows as I move on to reclaim my position at the head of the table.” Evie smiled, wildly. “And I don’t even need the World Bombshell Championship to fucking prove it.” She smirked

With those last words spoken the camera panned in on Evie’s smiling face, as blood streamed down her cheeks before sliding off her face dropping to the ground. She was focused for her match at High Stakes and she was going to take it all, via bloodshed and victory.

Re: Evie Jordan v Kate Steele - Hardcore Grudge Match

Jet City South
San Diego, California

Kate had really adapted well to her role as a teacher at Jet City South. It was only natural considering that she and Kris Ryans were tied together through that of Violet Ripley. Kate was doing everything in her power to prepare for the battle at hand with that of Evie Jordan. It wouldn’t be long before she stepped into the ring with her biggest nemesis in all of SCW. The two had been at war with one another for the better of three years and now their long historical grudge would come to an end when the two stepped into the ring with one another in a hardcore grudge match. Kate Steele stood in the middle of a ring. She was clad in her Union Jack designed tights and wore her trademark white sports bra with a black fishnet over it. She was absolutely violent as she was in the ring with one of the newer recruits in the form of her cousin Prudence better known to the entire world as Ruby Steele. Ruby tried to clothesline Kate but the petite wrestler quickly kicked her in the gut before yanking her by the hair and slamming her to the mat. The blue haired vixen hit the mat with a very loud thud as she reached for her head in pain.

“OWWWWWW Kate there’s no need to be rough…”

Ruby tried to rise up to her feet but Kate was like a vulture as she quickly kicked Ruby as hard as she could right in the ribs. It was hard for her to breathe and Sapphire just stood outside of the ring as she glanced over at Kate with a disgusted look on her face.

“Diamond what the fuck is your problem?! That’s your little cousin… There’s no need to be so rough with her…”

Kate however was disgusted as she shook her head in utter disgust. She glared daggers right at the raven haired Sapphire as she replies back to her.

“If you have a problem with the way I conduct myself in the ring why don’t you come in here and do something about it…”

Emerald sighs as she jumps onto the apron as she tries her best to keep the best.

“Everybody relax! We are a band and we shouldn’t be fighting with one another. Diamond maybe Sapphie is right though. You should at least go a little easy. At the end of the day that is your cousin and you need to protect her instead of beating her up. What you plan to do isn’t going to solve anything and…”

Kate however wasn’t about to hear that though as she quickly runs at full steam and catches Emerald in the face with a forearm that sends her crashing back down. Sapphire has had enough as she quickly slides into the ring and she tries to spear Kate. Kate however side steps the attempt as she instead grabs a hold of Emerald’s arm and throws her to the ground on top of Ruby. She doesn’t hesitate as she quickly sits on her arm and places her into a very tight Ship Wrecked submission. She pulls back on the arm and Sapphire screams at the top of her lungs as she immediately begins to tap out. Kate doesn’t let go as she is locked in a trance to the point that she is about to break the arm. Before we can hear the sound of bones breaking she is quickly lifted off of her feet and put into a full nelson. The woman that has her locked tightly is none other than Courtney Pierce. Courtney squeezes the life out of her as she yells at the English beauty.

“You seriously need to settle down Kate… This isn’t who you are…”

“GET YOUR BLOODY FUCKING HANDS OFF OF ME… I WILL BEAT THE BOLLOCKS OUT OF EACH AND EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THESE WANKERS!!!!”

Courtney squeezes tighter than before as she does everything in her power to calm down the lunatic British woman. Finally after struggling and resisting for a good while Kate finally starts settling down. Once she does Courtney Pierce finally let’s go and Kate just sighs in return as she looks at what she did. All of her band mates seem to be in serious pain as they are aching on the floor. Kate just sighs as she drops down in the corner taking a seat as she glances at the carnage.

“Bloody fucking hell what did I just do?!”

Courtney looks down at Kate just sighing in return.

“From my perspective it seems like you honestly lost a lot of control. What has gotten into you?! These are supposed to be your friends and one of them is your cousin. You shouldn’t be trying to tear them up but instead should be trying to elevate them so they could maybe take a huge step in becoming wrestlers. You can’t do that if they are all beat up!”

Sapphire struggles as she rises up to her knees and she clutches at her arm in pain.

“And you attacked my playing arm you dipshit… I think you were trying to yank my arm right out of the socket because you know deep in your heart that I am a much better guitar player than you are… I still don’t understand why you lost control like you did…”

Kate uses the ropes to pull herself up to her feet. She looks at all of her band mates before turning her attention over to Courtney and shakes her head at her.

“I guess I am sorry for what I just did but let me explain myself. You have no idea how important this match with Evie Jordan is to me… That fucking Bitch almost burnt me with a boiling hot liquid. She could have burned me and that would have happened it would have been some severe burns. Who knows what might have happened when it came to me but one thing I do know is that this match with Evie is going to take everything out of me. It is a Hardcore Grudge match which means all of the hatred that Evie and I have built up for one another is going to come out in the form of this wrestling match. A lot can happen in that ring but the main concept is anything goes in a match like this… I will be honest you all should be ashamed of yourselves which includes you Courtney…”

Courtney raises an eye in return as she looks at the older woman.

“What did I do?!”

“You lost to Evie a few weeks ago. Back in the day you made all of this noise that you were a Blast From The Past winner. Where is that fire that helped you win that final round. I don’t care if you had Fenris as a partner and honestly that doesn’t mean anything but since you have been back you got submitted by me and Evie knocked you out. You should have been tougher and shouldn’t have lost to her…”

Courtney just shakes her head.

“It’s just one match. Besides you lost as well so it’s nothing to be ashamed of… Just because you are upset doesn’t mean you have to take it out on everybody else…”

Kate however ignores her as she looks at her band mates. Ruby is slowly rising up to her feet as she holds her head in pain.

“You really lost control Kate… The way you act in sparring is completely OUTR…..”

She doesn’t even get a chance to finish the statement as Sapphire quickly cuts her off.

“It’s bunch of bull shit if you ask me… I don’t understand why you attacked us in the way that you did especially considering when you were relaxing at home the Gem Stones did exactly what we were supposed to do. In your void of being absent we really took it to Evie. We beat her down and we avenged her trying to take you out…”

Kate however just shakes her head in disgust as she begins to speak some more.

“I don’t give a damn… The fact is she should have never put me in that situation to begin with. All of you should have been by my side from the beginning. Had you been there we could have turned the tables on her. She could have been the one who potentially got burnt. She would have been the one to stay at home and it would have honestly been a beautiful sight. Instead the roles were reversed and considering I have a group of women following me in the form of my band I would have expected you to have my back. We cannot make mistakes like that and this is why come this Hardcore match I plan to do whatever takes by any means necessary…”

Courtney raises her eyes in return.

“What do you mean by any means necessary… This doesn’t sound like the Kate that I would have expected at this gym… That’s actually very unbecoming of you…”

Kate chuckles as she just shakes her head and speaks some more.

“You think I gave a bloody fuck on what anybody thinks of me… The only thing I care about is beating the hell out of Evie. She has been my biggest rival in this company since the very beginning. It’s time I end this bitch by any means necessarily and what that means that I plan on having all of my band interfere in this match. Since there isn’t any rules that means everything is fair in this type of match. This is your chance to avenge your leader and make me proud…”

Ruby seems taken back as she looks back at Kate.

“Kate I don’t think that’s right… This is supposed to be a singles affair with Evie. I don’t understand what you have to gain by using us in a match to gain…”

“Obviously little cousin you still have so much to learn about this business. SCW feels on disrespecting me and to be honest the only thing I really care about right now is forging my way into the World Bombshell Championship division. You know how much I feel disrespected that I became the longest reigning Internet Champion?! I carried the fucking division I have the longest combined reign with the title and yet that didn’t mean shit for them. In their eyes I was nowhere close to even being considered for the hunt. That’s a bunch of poppycock. I carried the company. I was the best pure wrestler on the roster. I beat up Keira, I beat up Roxi Johnson. I tore down various members of the roster and all I get is being shoved into a rematch with Myra when I didn’t even want it… That isn’t my ceiling…. I know that deep down I have the talent to be so much more than that… If I can somehow beat Evie, I know that might just be the push I need to finally get on their radar. That is why this is so important to me…”

Emerald seems nervous as she looks at Kate with an uneasy expression on her face.

“But at what cost is this important to you?! Do you remember what went down in the Avengers Infinity War?! Thanos wanted to get the Soul Stone at all costs and the only way he could go about getting it was killing his daughter to get it. Do you remember what she asked him inside of the stone?! She asked him what did it cost him… Is all of this really worth it?! Is hurting your friends and your cousin worth gaining your own personal gratification?! Because if that is the case I don’t think it is even that important…”

Kate however looks directly into the eyes of Emerald as she shakes her head about her.

“The reality is all of this is about the title… It’s always been about that. You can call me title crazy. You can call me obsessed but at the end of the day I want to be respected. I want to get what I rightfully deserve. You all should be excited if things do go my way because if I do somehow get into the title hunt that only means the best for all of the Gem Stones. We are going to get the publicity. We will get the attention and the band will be back where it needs to be and that’s right at the forefront of the entire world…You just need some toughening up but when I am done. Things will be absolutely perfect…”

The Gem Stones all look at Kate as she seems to be locked in a trance of sorts. Kate just chuckles as she shrugs her shoulders in disgust as she glances at everybody in the gym.

“So I guess the next question is which one of you wish to try their luck with me, and you better make sure you give me everything you have because if it’s not good enough you might find yourself with a broken arm…”

Everybody looks at Kate with uneasy expressions on their faces. However a while it is at that point where we are able to see Kristopher Ryans walking over to where Kate and everybody is standing. He smiles as he looks right into the eyes of Kate.

“As far as somebody to wrestle with I wouldn’t mind stepping into the ring for a few with you. That is of course you are afraid?!”

Kate however shakes her head as she looks right into the eyes of Kris.

“You know damn well I am not afraid of anything. Why don’t you bring it on!”

“Consider it done… Everybody else is dismissed for the day… Courtney take them all out of here…”

With that Courtney shakes her head as she pulls all of the Gem Stones and some of the students out of the gym. Now it’s just Kristopher and Kate by themselves. Kris can only shake his head in disgust as he begins to speak to Kate.

“What the hell has gotten into you, as a teacher for Jet City South I expect you to be humble and to really be patient with the students. I don’t care if they are your friends or not you shouldn’t be overly aggressive. We don’t want anybody to get injured. It’s not what we are about and I want to see safety all around. Nobody should go through what Courtney did a few years ago and I don’t think what you did to your cousin was really right either. What has gotten into you?! I know you don’t really want to hurt your cousin or your friends… Speak to me…”

Kate looks at Kris as she just shrugs her shoulders in return.

“I don’t know what got into me. I guess I just feel like I have been disrespected for the past 9 months. It was amazing to win the Internet Championship and I worked my ass off into doing whatever it took to maintain that title but it was like a reign that went under the radar. There wasn’t any respect my way. I beat a list of top notch stars and I felt like it didn’t mean a thing. As soon as I am not champion anymore I get thrown to the side like I didn’t even matter.  I am nothing and it just sucks. The entire feeling absolutely sucks and I feel like I deserve so much better than that…”

Kris just shakes his head as he looks right into Kate’s eyes.

“Listen you can’t let a few setbacks take control of your entire career and you can’t let it affect you. I know you are so much better than that Kate… You have always been better than that. Just breathe and think things through. You will bounce back from all of this…”

Kate however shakes her head in disgust as she looks daggers at Kris.

“It’s easy for you to say that especially considering that you have a championship match in your back pocket. However that doesn’t help me out. I did everything like I was supposed to do so. I worked my ass out. I beat everybody and it’s NEVER ENOUGH… Now here I am in a match with Evie Jordan and everything seems to be on the table in this match. Evie wants to kill me but she is also the very person who stands in the way of me trying to get to what I am really after. I honestly don’t know how to feel about any of it…”

“It seems like you have a lot on your mind but regardless you do you think it’s safe to put all of your eggs into one basket?! Regardless of what happens do you think this one match is going to be the end all and be all for whatever happens to you on this journey in trying to be the best…”

Kate shrugs her shoulders.

“Honestly I don’t really know but in the eyes of SCW is definitely will go a very long way. Evie was a dominating World Champion. She damn near had beaten everybody that the company had placed in front of her. She struggled against Alicia but that doesn’t take away from the fact that she has still been a dominant star this year…”

“That might be true but it still doesn’t compare to holding a championship for seven months like you did. It still doesn’t add up to all of the wins you have managed to put together and you shouldn’t sell yourself short for anything. You worked your ass off this year as well! You have had an amazing year and just because people might few somebody as having a great year doesn’t mean that yours is any less important. You are still great Kate. You have the heart and soul of a champion and you need to carry that in everything that you do…”

Kate raises her eyes as she looks back at Kris.

“You still think I am quite the champion even though I treated my friends like absolute shit?!”

“Listen you were just being passionate about what you like to do. There’s no harm in any of that… Just remember that at the end of the day you can’t betray your friends. They put way too much into you for you to betray them… You need them as much as they need you. It’s a two way street and just remember that…”

Kate looks at Kris as she nods her head in agreement and we fade out on that image.

On Camera

Long behold this is what we both have been waiting for Evie. From the bottom of my heart I just want to give you a personal FUCK YOU. I don’t like you by any means. You have been my biggest rival ever since I got here and it drives me to the point of insanity. You and I have always been at each other’s throats since the beginning. I remember when you defeated me in one of your early matches here and in turn I proudly defended my Internet Championship against you not once but on two separate occasions. It doesn’t get any bigger or better than it does then stepping foot into the ring with you.

I know that you are an amazing talent and I have no qualms that you know how to fuck a Bitch up. However as much as I might sit here and actually sing your praises about what you do and all of the shit that you have accomplished, the fact of the matter is that I just don’t like you. I have never liked you and whenever I see you there is nothing but venom coming from my side of things. You have accomplished everything that I have ever wanted out of wrestling.

There was a time when you were the future star of the year and you had everybody looking at you to do big things which resulted in you actually living up to that achievement as you went on to not only win the Blast From The Past tournament but you continued living up to that legacy by winning the World Championship. If doing it once wasn’t hard enough you actually stepped away from the fucking company returned and won the Roulette Championship, and after leaving again. You managed to return win another Blast From The Past tournament that you didn’t even sign up for and you actually went on to win the championship again.

You fought your way through some tough competition. You beat the snot out of Andrea Hernandez and you took the championship away from a red hot competitor. If that wasn’t enough you actually continued on with that streak and you retained your title in a triple threat match against Alicia Lukas who some people are considering to be like this newfound top notch talent in all of the company and you beat Andrea Hernandez yet again.

That is so impressive and no matter how much you look at things even though I really don’t give a shit about you or even like you, I can’t help but respect what you have done within the ring in SCW.

It has been marvelous and in the words of my cousin I guess you can say that it was truly OUTRAGEOUS!

I am not here to feed you stupid one liners from an 80s cartoon though because the fact is I am envious of everything that you have become in wrestling. I know some people might try to get on your nerves and say that you are only where you are at because you are a Jordan by injection and you are fucking your way to success and accomplishing things. It’s bullshit for anybody to actually believe in that because you were a star before even being married to Ben. One doesn’t become as great as you do by simply fucking their way to the top. You had to already possess some serious skills and it’s those skills that have always carried you to wherever you wanted to go.

I mean it’s one thing to make it to the finals of the Blast From The Past but you made it to the finals on three separate occasions and you managed to actually win two tournaments. It doesn’t matter who they set you up with for a partner. You showcased you could team with anybody and you would be able to hold your own. You would be able to actually be able to gel together with different partners and I respect that.

However what I don’t respect is that you always seem your way back into the main event and there is this ceiling that stays locked above my head. It never seems like I can get anywhere and it just doesn’t seem like anything I do really matters to anybody.

I am tired of staying at this ceiling and it’s time to break this down in one way or another. Whatever happens we are ending this rivalry between us in one way or another. There will be blood shed. There will be tears but through it all it will definitely be finished. Mark my words on it.
