Kingingiseisha “Hitamashii” Shirasu is seen in the living room of his home in the outskirts of Las Vegas, and he is watching the documentary Harry Potter: A History of Magic on the TV and he gets a call from his childhood friend Johan Svensson and Hitamashii pauses the documentary on the TV before answering the phone.
Hitamashii-]Hey Johan, what can I do for you?
Johan-I wanted you to know that I saw your debut and was impressed with how you handled yourself against a larger opponent.
Hitamashii-Thank you, and as much as I appreciate the sentiment, you should know that I did what came natural to me, given the fact I was bullied as a kid. You should know that about me by now, knowing how long we’ve known each other.
Johan-My apologies, you are absolutely right. I am just so used to being polite and forgot who I am talking to. Either way, I am still impressed with how you handled him so convincingly and that you don’t let somebodies size get in the way of being a success.
Hitamashii-I mean, can you blame me? You saw how bad I was bullied as a kid, and I had to defend myself. I wasn’t going to let anyone walk all over me. I use that mentality in wrestling as well. Just because I am a smaller wrestler, I am not going to give up without a fight. I would rather go down swinging if given the option.
Johan smiles while Hitamashii responds and before Johan can respond, Giovanna Teixeira, another childhood friend and Johan’s girlfriend chimes in.
Giovanna-Hey Hitamashii, its Giovanna. That is admirable, but at the same time, it is kind of reckless. You could get seriously hurt with that kind of reckless abandonment.
Johan-Hitamashii, Giovanna is right to a degree, but at the same time, you have every right to defend yourself, and I know how much of a fighter you are. I just don’t want you to do something careless and risking getting seriously hurt before the wedding and all.
Hitamashii-I have been trained on how to wrestle safely against a larger wrestler. My trainer is 7 feet tall and 370 pounds and helped me with how to be safe against larger opponents and all. That was one of the perks of learning with Casey Williams, I learned from a SCW legend and how to wrestle different sized wrestlers and people with different backgrounds and wanting to do different things. It allowed me to be as prepared as possible for anything in SCW.
Johan-Anyways, we just wanted to make sure you were being safe and all, and we wouldn’t want anything to happen to my best man before the wedding. We’ll be in touch soon.
Hitamashii-Ok, talk to you later.
Hitamashii gives a half smile, and hangs up the phone and resumes the documentary as the scene fades to black.
Hitamashii is seen standing outside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, host site of Climax Control, about to go watch the Vegas Golden Knights hockey team and decides to talk about his opponent Jake Raab.
Hitamashii- Jeiku Raab, itoko ga itten de koko de torikunda koto o kangaeru to, anata wa SCW de anata ga roiyaritidearu ka kimy?na koto o shite iru to omoimasuga, watashi ga mikiki shita koto kara, anata wa watashi o kanshin shimasen. Hitamashii breathes as he translates from Japanese to English.
Hitamashii-Jake Raab, I know you think you are royalty or some weird shit around here in SCW given your cousin wrestled here at one point, but from what I have seen and heard, you don’t impress me, and there is nothing you can do that will impress me. I am going to plow through you just like I did to Kadar Hasheem in my debut match and work my way up to earn a title shot one day. I am going to prove to the world that you are nothing more than a punk and that I am hungrier for success than you. When I succeed at beating you, and eventually get a title shot before you, I will show the world what I already know, and that you are a failure, just like your whole family! I will prove that I am the superior athlete and better wrestler when I win.
Hitamashii laughs maniacally while looking very confident in himself as he enters the arena after buying his ticket to the game as the scene fades to black.
Hitamashii is seen standing outside the building that used to house Casey Williams’ House of Pain wrestling school, where Hitamashii got his start in the wrestling world. He decides to walk down the street and as he does so, gets a call from former trainee and friend in Andrew Garcia.
Hitamashii-Hey Andrew, long time no talk, huh? How are you? What have you been up to since we last talked?
Andrew-Hey Hitamashii, it has been a while, hasn’t it? Quite a bit is up since we last talked. Remember Ivan Darrell?
Hitamashii-Yeah, what about him?
Andrew-We are now a married couple. We also went to SCW like you are now and won the tag team titles when it was strictly gender exclusive. Then I won the Roulette title. Now we are helping Casey Williams by either watching his kids or being on call if he needs extra hands at SCU where he is the Head of Security now. I saw that you had your debut match a few weeks ago and beat Kadar Hasheem convincingly. Can’t say I am surprised, seeing how you were gutsy going after Casey and some of the other big men so many times when training.
Hitamashii-Yeah, I had something to prove, and that I will not be a pawn for anyone, and the best way to prove it is to go after the biggest men before they get you. I take no shit from anyone anymore, as you know I did as a kid because of my constant moving with my dad being in the Army and all.
Andrew=I can’t say I blame you, given the circumstances. I would probably have done the same thing in your shoes. I wanted to congratulate you on your win, as does Ivan. We want you to know that if you need anyone to help you critique or want to get some insight on certain wrestlers or whatever, Ivan and I are at your disposal.
Hitamashii-I appreciate it, but I think I can handle myself just fine. If I do find myself in a situation that warrants my needing help, you and Ivan will be the first ones I call, as you have been in the business, and Casey is busy with SCU. I will talk to you later, as I am about to go get some dinner.
Andrew-No rush. Talk to you later my friend.
Hitamashii hangs up the phone as he arrives at the Edge Steakhouse as the scene fades to black.
