Cadence Carter...MUST DIE!
« on: August 11, 2017, 11:50:30 PM »
~It has been a VERY trying, damaging, and disheartening go of it for me these past handful of matches.  Clearly I was right about everyone on my list being a good challenge.  I bet everybody out there thought I was just giving myself creampuff matches, when that was NOT what I was doing!  If I were Mikah, yeah, I would have done that.  I would have asked to face Twisted Sister or Amy Marshall or Jessie Salco or Veronica Taylor five times in a row.  But I did not do that.~

~Now though the both of them, the both of them are questioning if I should even get to be in the Bombshell Division’s main event at Violent Conduct.  I STILL should be getting my contractual rematch.  I never said I didn’t want it.  I said I wanted to be READY for it!  Being that I’m heavily battle-tested, I may as well just go for it, even though I’ve been having trouble getting more wins under my belt.~

~One of these nights my luck will change.  One of these nights my opponent or opponents won’t take the easy and cheap ways out!  That next newest night is about to arrive, as I will say this.  Cadence Carter will be headlining NOTHING…~

She can be heard screaming in her makeshift locker room in the backstage area that had been created for this outdoor event from behind the closed and locked door, far more than once, as clearly this is not something that she is used to.  A few items can be heard hitting other things.  If we were in the room with her, we would be scared for our lives, so thankfully we aren’t.

On the other side of the door, Polly looks anything but pretty right now, as she is very incensed that she was unable to take down and pin Samantha Marlowe, leaving her challenge series record now at one win, two losses, and one draw.  Meaning she has definitely challenged herself right to her brink, and apparently over it.  For her it’s clear she knows that she only has one last chance to prove herself that she deserves her contractual rematch for the SCW World Bombshell Championship.

As her tantrum begins to lessen some, she does something she does not do all that often… cries.  With her face in her hands she cries until her eyes are all red.  Then the anger seems to set back in once the tears have dried up.

Polly:  â€œI have no choice.  They want to take it away from me.  They want to take my contractual rematch taken away.  I have to do it.  I have to KILL Cadence Carter!  Leave no questions looming.  Cadence Carter must DIE!!!”

Polly looks around the room and then without even thinking picks up the small lamp in the room.  She yanks it out of the cord and hurls it right against the door and it smashes into bits and pieces, leaving her in the dark.  It’s at this very moment that her tantrum ends.  A few moments later she illuminates her face with the light from the flashlight that she has.  And oh when we see it, it’s not the usual look from Polly that we are all used to seeing.  There is not one ounce of playfulness on it.  When she finally speaks aloud, it’s almost as if she’s in a trance as she speaks in basically a monotone.  Clearly this has all gotten to her, and we can see it as she records herself using her usual tool.

Polly:  â€œI have no choice.  I don’t expect you to understand Cadence.  I only expect you to feel like you are the victim here, because you are.  Originally I wanted to face you to just prove myself against you and pick up another win on my way back to the World Bombshell Championship.  However now, next weekend means far much more to me.  I now have the bosses thinking about taking something that I am owed away from me.”

“So, where the heck does that leave you Cadence?  It leaves you in the biggest danger zone that you will ever come across in what you call your young wrestling career.  I never thought I would come to this crossroads, yet here I am.  And here are you.  We are close to being in the same boat, with everybody doubting us and our abilities.  Yet it only takes one night, just ONE NIGHT for everything to change.  And honestly, that’s the night I need.  I need it MORE than you.  I want it MORE than you.  For you this is just another match, another chance to show that you’re a future headliner.  But for me, I don’t care about headlines, except for the papers show your face on it with the surprised and dejected look after you have lost to me!”

Polly is breathing quite hard and it’s easy to hear.  She takes a few moments before she dives back into her thoughts.  Her normal passion is there, her normal desire to want to destroy her next opponent is there, but something…  Something just seems off.

Polly:  â€œYou won’t ever recover from that.  You will feel exactly the same way I feel RIGHT NOW!  I feel like…  I feel like I’m on the brink of losing it!  Against you Cadence, that’s not good for you.  Look at you.  Heck, look at the BOTH of us.  We’re both 21.  We both have our full lives ahead of us.  Yet here you are, standing in front of me, ready to die.”

“I’m not going to show any mercy.  I have learned that you can’t even show a single ounce of that, because if you do, you are just destined to fall.  You WILL do the one thing that I don’t like doing… and that’s losing.  My opponents are the ones that deserve to lose, yet lately they have been worming their way out of what they deserve.  Each and every single one of them will pay for their sins eventually, but that’s not what matters right now.  I am desperate to get back on the right path.  I am desperate to keep my contractual rematch for the SCW World Bombshell Championship.  I have earned the right to have that rematch as I did defeat Melody Grace to win the championship in the first place!  If Mark and Christian take it away from me, they have NO IDEA what is coming their way.  It won’t just affect them either.  It will affect ALL of Sin City Wrestling!  It will affect you too Cadence.  So one-time warning only… DON’T cheat.  DON’T try to keep me out of the ring for the count of ten.  And most importantly DON’T try to be something you clearly can’t be… a hero.”

“Because if they take from me what I’ve rightfully and fairly earned, NO ONE will get what they want!”

Another brief pause follows…

Polly:  â€œSo either way Cadence.  Next Climax Control for you is a lose-lose situation.  If you take the CORRECT way out of the situation though, at least the loss will only be personal.  You’ll have other chances to headline in the future.”

“But right now, this is MY turn to headline, and YOUR turn to not even make the papers, because well, this Sunday, I will be looking right back down at your downed frail body on the mat and yell right down to you, YOU LOST!  Mark and Christian’s doubts will no longer linger, and I will get what I am due.  Even though I haven’t been at my top form lately, I will go to Violent Conduct, I will turn things around, and I will get BACK the SCW World Bombshell Championship!”

Polly suddenly turns off the flashlight, leaving the whole area in total darkness…
