[The scene opens with a close-up shot of a photo of the current lineup of the Mean Girls. The camera then pans over each stable member from past to present from debut in Sin City Wrestling onward. First we see Veronica and Angelica…then Delia Darling, Tessa Flannigan and Mz. Holly Wood later on…the newest members then to join in Liz Smalls and Mercedes Vargas followed by Amanda Cortez…the historic moment when the stable captured every title in the division as Mercedes, Liz, Veronica and Delia as a photo of the foursome is showing off their gold...a moment in time during Delia and Mercedes dominant reigns with the Bombshell and Bombshell Roulette Titles…Amanda and Amanda posing with the Bombshell Tag Titles during their reign…Veronica winning her first singles titles holding up the Bombshell Roulette Title, ending Kate Steele’s reign. The camera then stays on the current incarnation of the group once again. A  portrait of the Mean Girls smiling while posing for a group photo. This particular moment was in successful times, some nine matches into their comeback tour.]

“So, the fine folks over at Sin City Wrestling want to know what has become of the Mean Girls, huh? That’s one of the major topics ahead of this weekend’s show? Suddenly, it’s  â€˜SCW: Mean Girls Matter Here’ again?”

[The camera pulls back to frame Mercedes Vargas, who is sitting leisurely on her living room couch in her Los Angeles residence. She arches an eyebrow at the camera and a confused expression overtakes her face. Even hidden under a Mean Girls baseball cap, her emotions were all the more evident. If anything the news of Mean Girls whereabouts surprised even her.]

“Well, that’s just great.”

[She throws up her hands in disgust.]

“See, I get it, I do. I get that the co-hosts of the fastest growing talk show in the company can’t help themselves taking a part out of their little show to talk about Mean Girls. All the time, every time. The rumors and speculations about us have been running wild that they had to pose the question everyone can’t help wondering if the Mean Girls has gone the way of the SCW tag team division. Believe e, I’m not surprised this is the one hot take everyone is talking about at the water cooler, at the playground and street corners, on social media, and in the most elusive nightclubs.

“I'm sure the majority of you love this. I know the MPC are. It was all they talked about last week. Trust me, I would have love to been out there last week at the Freemont Experience, but I was happy enough to experience something better: the Metal and Punk Connection Experience. If any of you thought the Mohawk and Metalhead were both bringing home gold last week, then you should refill your prescription.  Did you seriously think Jessie was on her way to make history? The only history she made was ending up as a footnote to Samantha’s title reign. As for Amy, well, things didn’t exactly worked out for her either, now did they? No, no I’m afraid not.”

[She pauses, brushing a few strands of hair from her face. Almost despite herself, Mercedes takes on a comical tone.]

“I’m not entirely surprised SCW brought up this question in their little preview this weekend because people remember you for your failures more than your successes. Well, let me set the record straight. At Summer XXXtreme, Amy and Kate NEEDED that win because if it were the other way around, if the Mean Girls would have treated them and Devona like complete amateurs at the supercard, you wouldn’t hear the end of it from the peanut gallery and the claims that we cheated to win. It’s practically their favorite go-to excuse. What happened more than two weeks ago changes nothing. There’s only one stable that is, was and forever will be the greatest of all time, and it damn sure isn’t the Metal and Punk Connection.

“So maybe I still have yet to win at Summer XXXtreme, but I did get to watch karma at work dealing with the Metal and Punk Connection. Jessie Salco has been lucky for so long and the only reason why she’s tied with Necra and I as a three-time Bombshell Roulette Champion is because she cheated Chelsea Payne out of the title by using dirty tactics. Yeah. That's definitely more notable than Jessie’s first reign, or her second. The sad thing is her most recent reign was purely based on shock value alone. But was anyone shocked that she would be one-and-done at Summer XXXtreme? Was anyone shocked Sam walked out still champion last Climax Control? And even though it’s been three years since we last saw Amy compete for the World Bombshell Title, raise your hand if you thought she was going to win? Anyone? No takers?”

[She looks around her for a moment, nodding her head. Then she sighs, looks at the camera and speaks.]

"Yeah, that's what I thought.

“If Raynin practically handed her ass to her when she ended her fluke reign and knocked her the hell out in the rematch to retain, what do you think Evie was going to do to top that?”

[She shakes her head incredulously before her thoughts turn to what she's up for this week.]

“So Climax Control 186, Christian has me facing Otaki: The girl who got crushed – literally and figuratively - by one Bobbie Dahl. I have to say, she and Cadence were incredibly lucky to make it out of that cruise ship alive otherwise we would have had a CSI crime scene on our hands, and who wouldn’t want that? Better her than me. That our fun-loving purple-haired anime aficionado is able to use social media is a miracle, but she sure sounds a lot different than she appears. She calls herself the Lord of the Matyrs. Anyone else remember her little vignettes and promos? Ooooh, scary."

[Mercedes raises her hands just slightly, wiggling her fingers in a spooky fingers gesture.].

"Almost as scary as her claims that she’s been scouting the competition for a long time. Yeah, I’m thinking someone should put a bell on you and maybe Mark and Christian should beef up SCW security because I’m almost sure stalking is a crime by law. Listen, sweetheart, I really don't have time to deal with you and your little legion and whatever else convoluted BS that you've come up with. Otaki, you're not dealing with Veronica Taylor this weekend, you're not dealing with Bobbi Dahl, you're dealing with someone who can very well end your career before it even started. You don't want to play this game with me because as sure as my name is Mercedes, I will make your nightmares seem like a happy place. Your legion is no match for me and neither are you.

"Call everyone you know. Text your friends and tell them to tune in to Climax Control Sunday night. There's going to be a funeral service in Reno, Nevada.

"R.I.P. Otaki. You never stood a chance.

"R.I.P. Amy Marshall. We hardly knew you.

"R.I.P. Jessie Salco. Mourn not her career, but celebrate her mediocrity.

"R.I.P. SCW Bombshells Division. It was fun while it lasted."

[She pauses, brushing a few strands of hair from her face, then moves forward now sitting on the edge of the couch.]

"The Mean Girls have been the scapegoat of this division for as long as I can remember. It’s not our fault none of you could stand up to us during our reign of dominance. And for once, it’s not our fault what the division has turned into today. We gave you back your vanilla division so you can be happy. It’s now YOUR division. You own it. Everything that’s happen so far – the godawful champions, the bloated Bombshell Title reigns, the hot shot title reigns with the other championships, the vacancies, girls who only last here for more than a cup of coffee, all of it – this is ALL. ON. YOU. Whatever happens, you’re responsible. If it doesn’t happen, you’re responsible.

“So next time you see the empty seats during a Bombshell match or when you pass the merchandise stand and can’t help but notice your t-shirts barely hanging on the table and haven’t been touched or when you give a speech and the only sound you hear is deafening silence, don’t blame us. Just remember that while you don’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone, you don’t know what you’ve been missing until it arrives."

"And if this is the end of the Mean Girls?

"Well, then, I guess it’s better to burn out than to fade away.”

[Her eyes fails to meet the camera, then looks up again.]

"Don't worry, we’ll be over here sipping tea and playing violins…"

[She pauses for emphasis.]

“…while this division burns.”

[***Fade***]
