“ENOUGH OF THE BULLSHIT”
SCENE ONE

“I’m sorry to inform you all... but the company will be shutting it’s doors as of this moment.”

Those words rang out through the halls of the Seibert Hall. Men and women alike stood by one another as they had just been told the company they had been giving their all too was closing down. Lots of groans of displeasure could be heard. There were even some people that were getting rather emotional over the closing to the point they had small tears running down their cheers. Calvin stood right beside his girlfriend Nova and looked around at the reactions of everyone. Not to mention the man had just had time to process what had happened. His emotion wasn’t displeasure. His emotion wasn’t even a matter of being sad.

Instead Calvin’s reaction was pure anger, bitterness, and feeling as if he had just been lied to. That’s exactly why he couldn’t hold back what came out of his mouth next. “This is complete fucking bullshit!” Sure enough the outburst that came from him had everyone turning their attention to him. Nova quickly grabbed a hold of his hand in an attempt to prevent him from going over the deep end, but he yanked his hand away from hers. Seemed like it was too late to even attempt to calm him down.

You mean to tell me you let every last one of these people go out there tonight and bust their ass... When in reality, you knew you were closing the doors before hand?!

People were staring to spread out around him, pretty much making him the center of attention. Calvin’s eyes narrowed as he was staring at one person. He was staring at the woman in charge of the company he worked for. She who shall not be named.

Better yet, you put me in this bogus ass fucking storyline where I was suspended. To build me up to being put in a title match and then you fuck me by not giving me the title match? Kind of like fat boy fucked me out of becoming the champion in the first place.

Calvin’s hand directly pointed out to the Heavyweight Champion that was standing right up beside the owner herself. Those shocked expressions remained on their faces. He stepped forward like he was going to walk right up to the woman that signed his checks, but again Nova reached out and yanked on his arm in an attempt to stop him.

There was a bit of a collective gasp from everyone that was watching this go down from the words that escaped his mouth. To take matters even further Calvin proceeded to hold up the middle finger on his right hand aiming it right at the woman in charge of what was now going to be a defunct company.

You tried to sell me on the fact that you were different than the hell-hole I worked for before here. You tried to sell me on the bullshit that I wouldn’t be screwed over and that I wouldn’t be held down. Tried telling me I’d have my fair share at success, but in reality. Unless I was kissing your ass or the goons you had helping run things behind the scenes. I wasn’t going to go anywhere. That much has been proven and all I did was waste eight months of my career for a place that didn’t deserve me in the first place.

By now those couple steps that he taken forward lead to him standing right before what would now be his former boss. In fact he towered over her by a few inches. She looked back at him and tried to remain calm.

“Calvin, now I know you’re upset...”

Upset? No, I’m not upset. I’m a little pissed off, but truth be told. This company crashing and burning into the ground is one of the best things that could happen to me. Because now I know I’ll never be in a position like this again. You proved that your word wasn’t shit and you proved that you yourself ain’t shit. Thank you for wasting my time, but most of all thank you for providing me with an opportunity to go be better elsewhere!

For a brief moment there was this stare down between Calvin and the woman that owned the company. It ended a couple brief seconds later when Calvin turned himself around and walked right back down the aisle of splitted people that had watched his every movement and word. Grabbing a hold of Nova’s hand when he got back within distance and proceeded to yank her towards him. He continued down the aisle which resulted in him walking further into the back of the arena. He had said his peace and it was something that was surely going to leave a lasting impression on those that had seen it. Nothing could be done, the company was closing, and now it was time for the Martyr to take his talents elsewhere.

“THE UNSPOKEN TRUTH”
SCENE TWO

Sacramento, California wasn’t such a bad place to be, especially when you’re from the midwest and it was getting colder and colder in that area as the days went on. Before long Winter would be here and people would be complaining for at least three months about how cold it was. How they were sick of snow and so forth. That wouldn’t be the case for the people of Sacramento, hell that wouldn’t even be the case for most of the people in the state of California. Now because of where the state and the city was located. They had the opportunity and in some cases the luxury of being able to enjoy something like a Theme Park all year long. Speaking of theme park’s that's where today’s journey was going to begin at the Ultimate Terror Scream Park.

Cameras found themselves rolling in at that exact moment. To be more exact the cameras were focused on what appeared to be a set up for a wrestling show. The ring was smack dab in the middle of the park. The guard-rails were set up all around. Chairs set up on all four of those guard-rails. It truly seemed like there was a big crowd expected for this event. At the same time, why would someone run a wrestling show in a theme park? Believe it or not people this was a thing in 2016. That being said though the cameras found themselves zooming out a tad bit and in doing so a man with his attention locked on the ring was seen.

Seeing someone there it made sense that the person was going to become the person of interest. Sure enough that was the case with the cameras zooming in on that person. Like clockwork the person turned to face the cameras and in doing so revealed themselves to be the newest edition to the Sin City Wrestling roster. A man that was making quite a name for himself in the wrestling business. That man was known as “The Martyr Of Professional Wrestling” Calvin Harris. This arrogant smirk of his crossed his lips and he began to speak with a commending tone of voice.

So this is where it’s all going down, huh?

Using his right hand, he kind of proceeded to move it in a manner in which he was presenting everything to the viewers. Obviously talking about the show that was set to happen.

I step into the ring for the first time in several weeks and it’ll be in a brand new company. A company by the name of Sin City Wrestling. A company that I’ve heard a lot about. A company that once recruited me many-many years ago. A company where I’ve seen some of my friends have success. Not to mention I’ve seen some of my foes have success here as well. And sure enough it’s a company that I can without a doubt see myself having success in.

A small nod came from the man that clearly seemed confident in his abilities to be successful. Something that was going to end up rubbing someone the wrong way before long. After all it was a given people couldn’t stand the success of others.

Assuming this isn’t a constant thing where I’m going to have to continue to compete in a Theme Park. That and assuming that the owner of the company doesn’t disappear for weeks to months on end... the champion isn’t involved with management in some kind of way... and it isn’t a matter of just people’s friends getting pushed. Basically, as long as Sin City Wrestling is nothing like my previous employer then I shouldn’t have a problem at all having success around these parts... But please for the love of God. Never have me compete in a theme park again. Those flashbacks are worse than ones from the Vietnam war.

There was a brief disgruntled expression that overcame his face.

However the point to all of this is in exactly twenty four hours from now. I’ll step into a ring for this company for the very first time. And it seems that the man they’ve chose to put against me is a man by the name of Caleb Houston. Now I can tell you that as long as Houston and I have been doing this. We’ve never really crossed paths with one another. We’ve never had a match against one another. Hell, we’ve never even so much as been in the same company as each other. Then again there’s probably a good reason for that. From what I know Caleb isn’t the type of person I’d want to be around. Not is he the type of person I’d like. In fact Caleb is the type of person I’d like to punch in the face over and over again until he lost all his teeth and needed surgery to reconstruct his jaw... Yes, I know I’m violent and got some anger issues.

He proceeded to bring his hand right up to the cameras and give a “thumbs up” as he seemed to acknowledge his so called “anger issues” with those comments. At the same time it seemed like he was very much sarcastic than anything else.

Course there’s a reason why I feel the way that I do about Mr. Houston. First of all it starts off with the type of company that he keeps. I have established over the last couple of years that most of the wrestling business is filled with the worst kind of people. You’ve got people that think their shit don’t stink and they're just the greatest this business has ever seen. Despite no one ever hearing of them or they come out of promotions that don’t matter. You’ve got people that are adults that act like their children and just love starting drama and being as petty as they can possibly be just for the sake of having some kind of issue. Most of those people start that shit in a hundred and forty characters or less. Because let’s face it twitter is their entire life. Or there’s the type of people that are just completely and utterly the scum of the heart. The type of people that need to have a shotgun put in their mouth and their brains splattered all over the ceiling.

Those words of his just seemed to roll right off his tongue without any hesitation at all.

And from what I know Mr. Houston associates with quite a few people that fit those categories. As well as some others that I just don’t feel like wasting my time by going through. The fact is I remember when I was a young boy. My father sat me down and taught me that the company I keep in life is very important. The people that I associate with can have both a positive and negative affect on my life. Sometimes it’ll be minor and sometimes it’ll be extreme. But at the end of the day if you hang with trash, then you’re going to be looked at as trash.  Mr. Houston someone should have taught you that lesson when you were young, but sadly they didn’t and now it’s entirely too late. You’ve associated yourself with trash for too long. The company that you keep, the people you associate with. They’ve all brought you down and seriously devalued you as a person. It’s a shame really, but at the same time it’s no one’s fault but your own.

Each word that came out of his mouth at that moment was a clear attack on the man he was set to step into the ring with. This was wrestling and trash talking was a thing, but these words seemed to be a little bit more of a personal attack on Caleb Houston.

I’m sure people are going to come out of nowhere and start preaching about how wrong it is of me to judge someone off of something like that, but there’s two things about that. Number one, I don’t give a shit what people think. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. And number two, believe me I’m not simply judging Mr. Houston on his company. I’m judging him on what I know about him as a person as well. Let’s start off with the fact that the guy has no real credibility to his name. Yes, I said it. Caleb Houston has no real credibility to his name. Now sure if you hold a conversation with the man. He’ll tell you all these places he’s been, all these matches he’s won, and all these so called championship as well as accolades he has to his name. The dude will sell you on the fact he’s one of the best to ever do this. But if you look into his history. Most of those companies, championships, and accolades don’t even exist!

There was a type of anger in his voice for that split second. More than anything at all, it appeared that he took offense to the fact that Caleb Houston was a liar, well at least that’s what the Martyr himself had convinced himself that he was.

I imagine that’s going to get under Mr. Houston’s skin and he’ll have a few choice words for me, but he’ll learn to get the hell over it. For I can pretty much prove the man is full of shit. Based on the fact he’ll say that he’s something great here in Sin City Wrestling. He’ll talk like he’s got some type of bragging rights around here. He’ll talk like he’s a valued member or that he’s done something in this company, but if you go back and look at things. The only accomplishment he’s ever had in these parts is being in a Tag Team with JT Midas. To which they had a couple month reign as the SCW Tag Team Champions. Something that happened over a year ago. Literally that’s the only claim to fame he has around these parts. Other than that he’s mostly remembered for being the guy that gets put out on his back and takes the L. At this point I’m sure dude has taken more L’s than Meek Mills has from 2015 and 2016 combined!

From the smirk spread across his lips. It was pretty much a given that he truly found himself to be amazing with his quick witted comments. Sure enough it was going to turn out that he was the only one that stroked his ego. For it was almost a given that the Sin City Wrestling fans were going to be very much against him.

And on October 30th, he’ll be taking another L. That’s of course assuming that he has the balls to actually show up and compete. You see because that’s the other issue I have with Mr. Houston. He reminds me a lot of my ex who kind of just hops around from person to person, which only makes her feel further empty inside. Mr. Houston is known for going from company to company to company. Now granted this is professional wrestling and we can all choose to work for whatever company that we want. Hell, if we’re lucky. Some of us get non-exclusive deals and can work for a couple different promotions. But that’s not the case with Mr. Houston. Nah, he’s the type that bounces around from promotion to promotion. Because he can’t get the job done.

Simply a shrug left his shoulders in that moment.

Mr. Houston is one of those people that will get upset when people don’t buy the hype, and he’ll go somewhere else to try to sell a different company his bullshit. When that doesn’t work, then he’ll leave and go somewhere else trying the same thing. At the same time though, Mr. Houston is also the type of person that will fall on his face once. Claim it’s something about the company. Claim he was screwed over. Claim that something shady or underhanded happened. He isn’t the type of man or the type of wrestler to just admit that he fell short or admit that he just didn’t have what it takes to get the job done. There’s an excuse and always someone to blame. Which results in him running elsewhere with his tail tucked between his legs and only for him to pick right back up where he left off when things don’t go his way. It’s a repetitive song and dance. That never seems to end.

This professional and seemingly sometimes personal attack in the form of words continued to escape the lips of the man known as the Martyr. At this point it was truly a matter where a line had been crossed. In crossing that line Calvin was either going to put himself in a position where he was going to have quite a bit of heat on him and was going to meet Caleb Houston head up. Or it would be a situation where he did nothing other than expose Houston with the truth.

Everything I have said is from what I’ve seen and from what I know. Things might suddenly change within Mr. Houston. He might decide to actually prove his worth for a change. Hell, he might decide to do something just because I called him out and he doesn’t want me to be right. In all actuality, I would like to have a match for my debut. I don’t want to get ready and then five minutes before match time. Be told my opponent is too much of a coward and that I won’t be facing him that night. I don’t want nor have the desire to find myself in matches with “enhancement” talent. That isn’t going to make the situation better. So this is one of those situations where I do hope that Mr. Houston does have a set of balls. This is one of those situations where I hope that Mr. Houston does decide to be in this match. This is a situation where I do hope that Mr. Houston does attempt to prove me wrong.

A small change in his tone of voice could be heard. To the point that it sounded pretty sincere to say the very least. It made it seem like he was one that truly cared about the match. That arrogant smirk of his still remained on his lips.

Though rest assured that it certainly isn’t going to make a difference if he does decide to show up and fight. For the moment he steps in the ring with me is the moment that he is going to find himself in a world of hurt. For I didn’t come to Sin City Wrestling to make friends. I didn’t come to this company to be buddy-buddy with anyone. I didn’t come to play nice or to kiss ass. I simply came to this company to continue the legacy that I am building for myself and to become everything I’ve ever set out to become. Therefore if that means Mr. Houston is dropped on his head and-or neck, then so be it. It’s all about what’s best for me!

He spoke once again with base in his voice. Almost like he was doing what he could to make sure that people understood that he was without a doubt a man that meant serious business.

Looking right at the cameras he proceeded to give a little wink with that smirk spread across his very lips. That smirk alone just seemed to finish setting the tone for how things were going to be when it came to this man and his official debut into the company. With that being said the cameras found themselves fading to black leaving every fan to wonder what was going to happen when Climax Control finally did take place. It was almost a given that people would be very much against Calvin and succeeding, but at the same time it wasn’t up them in rather he succeeded or not.
