The sun is setting over the Degouve-Brabant Stadium in Arras, France, giving everyone inside of the stadium the experience of an exciting wrestling program beneath the open sky. A spotlight begins to shine and the crowd cheers as ring announcer Justin Decent steps out onto the stage. The handsome exhibitionist jogs out to the ring, slapping hands to the fans who reach out to him.
He is handed the microphone by Jason Adams as he runs up the ring steps and climbs inside of the six-sided SCW ring and walks around, pumping his fist in the air to the tune of the crowd's chants;
Crowd: SCW! SCW! SCW!
Justin then hops up onto the corner turnbuckle and smiles, looking out around the fairgrounds at all of the fans filling the grandstand and the rows of seats around the grounds itself. He drops back down and takes his place in the center of the ring and brings the microphone up to his lips.
Justin: Hello everyone and welcome to the Degouve-Brabant Stadium, in Arras, France by way of Vimy Ridge, and welcome to the 2024 Battleground Tour for Sin City Wrestling!
The crowd cheers!
Justin: Now please help me welcome the Hostess With the Mostess for "Climax Control" -- Miss Amanda Hugginkiss!
The crowd cheers as Amanda comes skipping out dressed in a classic schoolgirl outfit with her hair done up in two large pigtails. She waves about to everyone and holds up her IPad and 'giggles' as the performance begins.
Amanda: They told him don't you ever have things to share

The song ends and the crowd cheers as Amanda bounces all over the stage, waving and blowing kisses. Misha steps back out and waves with a goofy smile on his face. Amanda dashes over and scoops the actor up into her arms and skidaddles off-stage, bringing the performance to a close.
The camera transitions to ringside where we join Belinda Simone and Jason Adams at the broadcast table!
Simone: Hello everyone and welcome to this the latest stop in the 2024 Battleground Tour! Welcome to Climax Control! I am Belinda Simone!
Adams: And Believe it or not, I'm Jason Adams!
Simone: I believe it. What I don't believe is that you got it right on the first try.
Adams: Seriously!
Simone: Fans, we are only miles away from the Canadian Memorial, commemorating the sacrifice here at Vimy Ridge. And tonight the men and women of Sin City Wrestling will be their best go to entertain the SCW Universe on this historic stop. And it begins as Nakita Niles makes her single debut, kicking things off against no other than Miss Manners!
Adams: Then we have Miles Kasey's half-brother Lyle Kasey Junior going up against Aiden Reynolds!
Simone: Julianna DiMaria has a date with destiny in a matter of weeks against Kayla Richards, but tonight she needs two eyes in the back of her head when she goes up against Seleana Zdunich!
Adams: Then we've got the first Blast From the Past Quarter-finals if the night when the *Dream Team" if Eiley and The Dragon Mark Cross goes up against THE most dysfunctional team of the tournament in Diamond Steele and The Beat, Jayden Harris!
Simone: In the match that was to happen three weeks ago, the reigning World Heavyweight and one half of the Mixed Tag Team Champions, Finn Whelan, faces Mister Golden Briefcase himself, Rodrigo Afonso!
Adams: And in tonight's main event, not only is it a quarter-final match in the Blast From the Past tournament, it's also a double championship match! The Bombshell Roulette Champion Bobbie Dahl and Internet Champion Peter Vaughn face Double-A, Alexandra Calaway and Alexander Raven! And if Double-A wins, the one who scores the fall is the brand new champion!
Simone: Tune in to see all this and more on SCW Climax Control!
Simone: Welcome to Climax Control and our first match of the evening! Nakita Miles signed up for the Blast from the Past Tournament but after a disappointing loss in the opening round, thanks in no small part to Bea Barnhart, last week Nakita cost Bea her spot in the tournament in return and now those two will meet at Into the Void! But first? Nakita has to make her official SCW Debut as she takes on SCW's resident Karen Ms. Manners in our opening match!
Adams: Nakita did impress during the Blast from the Past Match but can she hang in the Bombshell Division? It is one of the most competitive in wrestling!
Simone: One way to find out, let's take it to Justin!
Justin: Ladies and gentlemen this is your opening contest, scheduled for one fall!
The camera pans around the arena as the lights go out. That's when "Battlefield" by Peyton Parrish blasts throughout the P.A system. The lights come on as a mixture of red, white, and blue light starts to flicker around the arena. That's when Nakita Niles comes out wearing a pink camo jacket, pink camouflage pants, a pink camo top, pink and black camo stripes going down her right eye, and black military boots.
She looks at the fans and gives them a salute. She then lowers her hand as she starts to walk down the ramp. While she was on the ramp, she slapped the hands of the fans before stopping at the end of it. She takes a moment to breathe.
Justin: Introducing first, from Cobb County Georgia and making her SCW debut, NAKITA MILES!
She looks up at the ceiling and points up to the sky. Almost like she was saying something, but you couldn't understand the sounds of the music playing. She lowers her arm and walks towards the steel steps. She then walks up and moves along the edge before entering the ring. She went towards the turnbuckle and clapped her hands. She takes off her pink camouflage jacket and tosses it outside. You see her wearing pink camo wristbands with red, white, and blue strings on her wrist. She then looks up at the ceiling again and points up before lowering and pointing at the cheering fans. She then drops down as her music fades.
Simone: Nakita has a lot of pedigree coming in to the promotion and she's a former marine to boot! She's a tall woman and a powerhouse, makes me wonder how she stacks up against Tempest!
Adams: She has to work her way up the ranks first and she's starting at the bottom!
Justin: And her opponent!
Beethoven's "Moonlight" Sonata begins to play across the sound system of the building and the crowd turns toward the entrance stage where Miss Manners emerges with a heartwarming smile on her face and a hand in the air, greeting one and all politely.
Justin: Introducing from Madison, Wisconsin -- Miss Manners!
Not a single fan reaches out to her and some give her a thumbs down but she never the less smiles to them, holding hand over her heart as if she can feel their love and admiration as she arrives at ringside. She climbs up the steps and stares at Justin (or the male referee) and shouts, "Well aren't you going to hold the ropes open for a lady!?" prompting them to scramble over and hold the ropes open for her to step through. Miss Manners then walks around to the centre of the ring with her arms held open and out, greeting the boos and jeers before returning to her corner.
Simone: And you can't get much more bottom than the winless Ms. Manners!
Adams: Maybe this will be the one?
Dawn goes over the rules with the two women before calling for the bell.
Simone: And here we go with tonight's opener!
Adams: Time to see how Nakita does!
DING DING DING!
As soon as the bell rings Nakita and Ms. Manners lock up in the middle of the ring and Nakita wastes little time showing off her power by shoving away Ms. Manners and taking a moment to flex her muscles! Ms. Manners growls before she gets back to her feet but runs right into a high dropkick from Nakita sending her into a nearby corner, unfortunately for Ms. Manners Nakita follows her in with a STIFF knife edge chop!
Simone: Did you hear that knife edge chop?!
Adams: I felt it, Dawn felt it, the crowd felt it, everyone backstage felt it, the whole damn population of France felt it!
Ms. Manners is sent reeling from the knife edge chop which gives Nakita a chance to get a running start and nail her with a spear! Nakita goes for the pin!
ONE!
TWO!
And Ms. Manners kicks out! Nakita shakes her head before she picks up Ms. Manners and goes to hit her with a German Suplex but Ms. Manners lands on her feet before grabbing Nakita and nailing her with a Back Suplex and then yanking the military veteran back up to her feet and hitting a hangman's neckbreaker! Ms. Manners goes for a pin!
ONE!
TWO!
And Nakita kicks out.
Simone: Both Ms. Manners and Nakita have exchanged pin falls in this match and it could go either way!
Adams: Especially since they are both winless in SCW!
Ms. Manners looks at Dawn frustrated but shakes her head before she locks in a Boston Crab! Dawn gets into position to check on Nakita but Nakita refuses to tap out and manages to break the hold by reaching the ring ropes, Ms. Manners tries to drag Nakita to the centre of the ring to try for another submission but Nakita's grip on the ring ropes is too strong and she kicks away Ms. Manners sending her into a backflip with her power! As both women get back to their feet Ms. Manners charges in but gets met with another knife edge chop this one even stiffer then the last!
Simone: I hate to imagine what Ms. Manners' chest will look like by the time the match ends!
Adams: No kidding! Nakita's chops are hurting me to watch!
Nakita pulls up Ms. Manners and drives her into the matt with a Release Cobra Clutch Suplex! But the momentum from the move, called the Seal of Approval, sends Ms. Manners reeling out of the ring as it becomes clear that Ms. Manners has underestimated Nakita and that point is driven home when she is hit with a Suicide Dive from Nakita that knocks Ms. Manners with enough force that it sends her over the railing and into the crowd! Nakita grabs her and Suplexes Ms. Manners back onto the ringside area before rolling her back into the ring and going for a pin!
ONE!
TWO!
And Ms. Manners kicks out!
Simone: Give Ms. Manners credit, she isn't backing down from the much stronger Nakita!
Adams: Nakita meanwhile is showing why she'll fit right in with the Bombshell Division!
Nakita drags Ms. Manners to a corner and heads to the top rope where she tries for a Shooting Star Press only for Ms. Manners to get the knees up! Ms. Manners goes for a small package pin!
ONE!
TWO!
And Nakita kicks out! But as Ms. Manners gets to her feet she calls for the end.
Simone: Ms. Manners is going for the Moral Judgment!
Adams: Can she hit it?
Ms. Manners only gets as her as picking up Nakita for the Michinoku Driver though as Nakita slips out the back, spins her round and drops Ms. Manners with a Rock Bottom!
Simone: SEMPER FI! Nakita hits it!
Adams: Stick a fork in Ms. Manners, she's done!
Nakita goes for the pin!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING!
Justin: Here is your winner, NAKITA NILES!
Simone: Nakita gets her first win in SCW! Despite her rocky start I think she'll fit in just fine!
Adams: And it's back to the drawing board for Ms. Manners.
Nakita celebrates her win while Dawn checks on Ms. Manners.
BOMBSHELL INTERNET CHAMPIONSHIP
Tempest (c) vs Mercedes Vargas
Watching upon the SCW-Tron above the stage, the crowd reacts accordingly with both positivity as well as the negative as the first person seen is the Bombshell Internet Champion Tempest. She has an annoyed, disgruntled expression on her face and perhaps for good reason. As the camera pans out, she is joined by none other than…
Pussy Willow: Fans, the SCW 2024 Battleground tour continues and I am joined here tonight by the reigning Internet Champion for the Bombshells, none other than Tempest! Now Tempest, last week…
Tempest: Go ahead, get it over with!
Pussy Willow: Well, it's just that…
Tempest: I lost to Vargas! There, I said it so you didn't have to! But why the hell don't you or anyone else out there tell the REAL story! Tell them why I lost! The only damn way Vargas was able to beat me was going behind the referee's back and hitting me with brass knucks! You tell me a single person on this roster that could get clobbered by brass knucks and NOT get beat!
Pussy Willow: I-I can't? I just wanted to get your feedback on the earlier announcement tonight from Christian Underwood that now Mercedes Vargas would be challenging you for the championship at Into the Void XIII…
Tempest: ExCUSE me!? She cheats like a little bitch to get one over on me and they are actually REWARDING her for it!? Why the hell am I NOT sur-
Mid-rant, Tempest turned her head and found someone else standing near. The camera pans out a little wider to find none other than Crystal Zdunich standing there. The two women stare briefly at each other until Tempest breaks the uncomfortable silence.
Tempest: … What!?
Crystal crosses her arms as she looks at her newfound friend.
Crystal: What do you mean what?! It's bull crap that you have to put up with Mercedes cheating ways. It's unfair and truly it isn't right. I don't appreciate what she did to one of my newfound friends and something needs to be done about it!
Crystal looks at Tempest.
Crystal: I should take care of her for you. Nobody should get away with what she did and I have been dealing with her for years. It is crazy to think that the two of us actually used to be friends and tag team partners together back in the day.
Tempest stares briefly at Crystal, seemingly indifferent.
Tempest: No accounting for taste I suppose.
The champion then held her hand up, her other hand holding on to the golden championship belt over her shoulder.
Tempest: And as far as taking care of her for me? You have no need for how long? When have I ever needed somebody to take care of a problem for me?
Crystal quickly shakes her head.
Crystal: You don't necessarily NEED me to take care of her but this is something I wish to do as a friend. You are the most dominant bombshell on the roster and you can handle your own. Sometimes it's good to have a friend just to say they want to do something for you. On top of that there's a little girl of yours that would like to see me do something and I can't let her down right?
Tempest stares her down.
Tempest: Bringing my daughter into this? That … is fighting dirty.
She closes her eyes and shakes her head, massaging her temple with her fingers. She then lowers her hand and turns her head to stare at Crystal.
Tempest: Look, do what you want! But don't overdo it. Leave something for me to bury in the ground.
The champion then turns and walks away, leaving Crystal and Pussy Willow behind. Crystal smirks.
Crystal: Don't worry, there will be plenty for you champ. Mark my words on that!
Crystal winks as we go elsewhere.
Justin: Our next match is a Standard Rules match pitting Aiden Reynolds against Lyle Kasey Junior.
Adams: I like Aiden Reynolds and I am rooting for him to win this match.
Simone: Dream on, Jason, as Lyle Kasey is going to clean house on Aiden.
Justin: First to make their way to the ring, he hails from The Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia and he stands in at six feet even and two hundred twenty pounds, please give a great Vimy Ridge, France, welcome for "THE AUSSIE WOLF" AIDEN REYNOLDS!!
The opening riff of PARKWAY DRIVE's "VICE GRIP" hits the speakers The high speed gives way to Aiden Reynolds stepping out onto the entrance platform and he is holding a fist in the air and he is wearing a black leather jacket with "THE AUSSIE WOLF" spray painted on the back. Aiden moves his way down to the ring, shaking hands and giving high-five hand slaps to the crowd, and as the refrain of the song hits Aiden throws his arms out to the side as he and the crowd both chant..."YEAAAH YEAH YEAH!!!" Aiden then leaps onto the apron and takes a few steps backwards before sling-shotting himself into the ring and spinning around and then he stops and drops to one knee slamming his fist into the mat much to the delight of the fans. Aiden then stands up and takes a potion in one of the corners.
Adams: I told you an Aussie is one to be admired. Aiden plays the crowd well and the fans love him.
Simone: We shall see how much they still love him after Lyle Kasey Junior defeats him in this match.
Justin: Next to make their way to the ring, he hails from Middleton, United Kingdom, and he stands in at six feet four inches and two hundred ten pounds, please give a great Vimy Ridge, France, welcome for LYLE KASEY JUNIOR!!!
"KINGSLAYER" by "BRING ME THE HORIZON" hits the speakers and the crowd turns their attention to the entrance area. They do not have long as Lyle Kasey Junior steps out from the backstage area and he walks out to the landing. His ring attire consists of long tights with kickpads. Lyle is also wearing a long jacket with a hood that matches the color and patters of his wrestling attire. Lyle raises his arms into the air much to the delight of the fans. He then starts his walk down the ramp to the ring area. He stops occasionally to greet fans, shake their hands, and give high fives. When Lyle reaches the ringside area he walks up the ring steps, steps through the ropes, then he takes up a corner opposite of where Aiden Reynolds is located.
Simone: Now that is how a classy entrance is done Jason.
Adams: A classy entrance by someone from the United Kingdom does not match a amazingly fantastic entrance from an Aussie.
Simone: Dream all you want Jason but when this match is over and Lyle Kasey Junior gets his hand raised for the victory your tune will change.
Referee Jasmine St. John motions for Aiden and Lyle to join her in the center of the ring. She informs the two that their match is a Standard Rules match and that she will hold them accountable for violation of the rules. She further informs the two if she has to issue a third warning on either of them she will disqualify them for the match. Referee St. John asks if both wrestlers fully understand how she will officiate the match and both inform her that they understand. Referee Jasmine St. John then checks both wrestlers to ensure they are clean or any substances on their bodies and that they are clean of any foreign objects or weapons. Finding both of them clean she asks Aiden and Lyle to shake hands then return to their corners to wait for the bell from the Timekeeper to officially start their match. They shake hands and both return to their corners. Once they are in their respective corners the timekeeper rings the bell to officially start this match.
Adams: Oh...you are one to talk when you do that very thing all the time.
DING DING DING!
Adams: This match is officially underway and I will be rooting for Aiden Reynolds as you just cannot beat supporting a wrestler from Australia.
Simone: Nobody should base their like or dislike of a wrestler based on where they come from.
Aiden and Lyle come out of their corners and they meet in the center of the ring.
The stand closely facing each other. Both are running their mouth at the other. The bump chests in the process which leads to both ready to pounce any second. Aiden delivers the first shot of a forearm smash to the chest of Lyle. We watch as Lyle quickly responds by spinning around and landing a nice backhanded chop to the face of Aiden. They face each other and begin hurling comments at each other. The two lock up and both are working hard to obtain the advantage over the other. Kasey gets the advantage on Reynolds then he grabs the arm of Aiden and whips him hard into a corner where Reynolds whacks his back into the corner. Kasey runs into the corner and leaps up on the ropes so where he starts landing blows on Reynolds. Aiden manages to block some of the blows then he grabs Lyle firmly around the body and he steps out of the corner. Once they are a ways out from the corner Reynolds drops Kasen down onto his knee in a Reverse Atomic Drop, Aiden then releases his grasp on Lyle and Kasey drops to the mat holding his groin and complaining to Referee Jasmine St. John that the move was an illegal low blow. Referee St. John informs Lyle that it was a legitimate, and not illegal, Reverse Atomic Drop, and she tells him the match will continue. Aiden rolls Lyle on his back and goes for a pinfall but he only gets a ONE count from Referee Jasmine St. John due to Kasey getting a shoulder up. Reynolds questions the count by Referee St. John and she informs him that she is the Referee in the match and her calls are final then she orders the two wrestler to get back into the action of their match.
Adams: Nice Reverse Atomic Drop. I thought Aiden Reynolds was going to get a quick win in this match.
Simone: Too early in the match for something like a Reverse Atomic Drop to get a quick win in this match.
Both Lyle and Aiden are up on their feet while Referee St. John stays close to the wrestlers to keep a close eye on the action. When Lyle approaches Aiden we watch as Reynolds lashes out with a kick toward the mid-section of Kasey. However Lyle is quick to firmly grab the leg of Aiden and he holding onto the leg with a very firm grip. Reynolds is trying to remove his leg from the grasp of Kasey but he is not having success in doing so. Lyle then whips the leg of Aiden hard to the side causing Reynolds to spin around to where his back is facing Kasey. Lyle is quick to grab the arm of Aiden and pull Aiden's arm back where he cinches in a Hammer Lock. Reynolds is trying to break free but Kasey is not allowing him to maneuver out of the hold. Referee Jasmine St. John steps up to ask Aiden Reynolds if he wants to submit and he shouts out NO so Referee St. John allows the match to continue.
Adams: The good part about this hold, the Hammer Lock, is that there are ways to escape the hold but there are certain conditions that need to be in place to get out of the hold such as getting into the ropes or causing your opponent to ease up on the Hammer Lock. The good thing is that the Hammer Lock applied by Lyle is a regular one and not a Hammer Lock Lift like what Bill Barnhart uses.
Simone: Your comment just jinxed Aiden Reynolds...look!
We watch as Lyle Kasey cinches up on the Hammer Lock and lifts hard to lift Aiden Reynolds off the mat but he is not able to raise Aiden off the mat with the maneuver. This allows Reynolds to keep moving toward the ropes and after a short struggle Reynolds reaches the ropes and steps through the ropes. Referee St. John is quick to step in and demand a break due to Aiden Reynolds being tied up in the ropes. Lyle Kasey obviously does not want to release the hold but he does release it to eliminate the possibility of a count causing a Disqualification. Once Lyle releases the hold he steps back from the ropes and Referee St. John stands between the two to ensure Reynolds had adequate time to extricate himself from the ropes.
Adams: Both wrestlers are still in this match. It has been a good back and forth. To be honest it is a good match to watch.
Simone: I agree.
Aiden has come out of the ropes and Referee Jasmine St. John motions to the two wrestlers to get back into the action of their match. Once again the two face off in the center of the ring and jaw at each other. It is Lyle Kasey who takes the initiative by grabbing the arm of Aiden Reynolds and whipping him into the ropes. When Aiden rebounds off the ropes Lyle goes for a clothesline but Aiden ducks the attempt. Reynolds backs off a bit and Kasey charges across the ring where he attempts a clothesline but Aiden ducks the attempt. Lyle, realizing that he missed the clothesline spins around to his back will hit the ropes and he can rebound off the ropes and go after Reynolds. Just as Kasey rebounds off the ropes he is hit by a running knee by Reynolds and he gets whacked with Aiden's knee and the blow drops Lyle to the mat. Aiden is quick to go for a pin and Referee Jasmine St. John quickly drops into position to make the count on the pin attempt.
ONE!
TWO!
Before Referee St. John can deliver the third count on the pin attempt Lyle Kasey gets a shoulder up stopping the count by the Referee at a two count.
Adams: That was nearly a pinfall victory for Aiden Reynolds.
Simone: You know the saying Jason that "closies only count in horseshoes and hand-grenades" but this is the sport of wrestling so closies do not count.
Adams: Yeah I know.
Lyle and Aiden get to their feet and they start trading blows. After several back and forth continuous blows between the two Lyle leaps into the air and lands a Roundhouse Kick that hits Aiden in the head but the blow was somewhat less than expected due to grazing his shoulder in the process. Even so the kick causes Aiden to drop to the mat and Lyle goes for the pin but he does not realize that the leg of Aiden is in the ropes. Kasey looks over at Referee Jasmine St. John to question why she has not started a count on the pin attempt and Referee St. John informs Lyle that the leg of Aiden is in the ropes and he must release the pin attempt and step back to allow Reynolds to come out of the ropes. Kasey is not happy about the situation but there is nothing he can due to change it.
Adams: That was an unfortunate situation for Lyle Kasey as he might have gotten the win there.
Simone: That happens in the sport of wrestling.
The two start trading blows again and the blows they are delivering to each other is wearing both wrestlers down. Seeing an opening Lyle Kasey runs to the ropes and rebounds off the ropes and he leaps high into the air, feet first, but he gets caught by Aiden Reynolds who execute his Gold Coast Cutter TKO slamming Lyle hard into the mat. Reynolds quickly covers Kasey for the pin and firmly hooks the legs of Lyle. Referee Jasmine St. John drops into position for the count on the pinfall.
ONE!
TWO!
Simone: Nooooo!!!
THREE!
Adams: Yesssss!!!
DING DING DING!
Referee Jasmine St. John tells Aiden Reynolds to get up off of Lyle Kasey and to stand next to her. Justin Decent receives the official decision on the match from the Referee.
Justin: The official decision from Referee Jasmine St. John in this match is the winner, by pinfall, is "THE AUSSIE WOLF" AIDEN REYNOLDS!!!
Referee Jasmine St. John raises the hand of Aiden Reynolds for the win. After she drops his hand Aiden walks over to Lyle Kasey to ask him if he is okay and Lyle Kasey lets him know he will be fine. Aiden then exits the ring and makes his way into the backstage area while the crowd cheers for him. When our attention is returned to the ring we see that Lyle Kasey is on his feet and the crowd applauds him for his performance in the match. Lyle exits the ring and makes his way into the backstage area.
"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" by U2 hits the PA system and Mercedes Vargas makes her way to the ring as the nameplate graphic appears on the screen to identify her to those watching at home. Cut to Belinda and Jason at the announce table.
Simone: We're live tonight from Vimy Ridge, France and we're now four weeks away from Into the Void.
Adams: And it looks to me like the number one contender for the Bombshell Internet Championship is in a joyous mood. Look at Mercedes all smiles tonight.
Simone: And why wouldn't she be? Mercedes took Tempest to the limit in our main event last week and, yes, while she was able to pull off the upset, Mercedes got away with murder, Jason. The whole world saw it. I'm disgusted.
The camera cuts away from the announce table to inside the ring. Mercedes paces around the ring with her checklist in hand as her music plays on. She then walks over to request a microphone and a stagehand hands her one through the ropes.
Adams: Mercedes earned her first win of the year and now she's next in line to face Tempest for the Bombshell Internet Championship at Into the Void. I bet she can't wait to tell us the news.
The camera pans from the stage lighting above the ring before settling on Mercedes as her music fades. She raises her microphone to speak.
Mercedes: Before I get to why I'm out here, I just want to briefly mention my good friend Bella Madison. Hey, Bella!
Mercedes waves at the camera.
Mercedes: Now, Bella, I know we won't be exchanging Christmas cards this year, but I'm a little disappointed that you thought I had absolutely no chance against Tempest last week. I mean, I was rooting for you when you beat her.
Simone: This is true. Bella did beat Tempest three years ago in their only meeting so far.
Mercedes: But you know what, that's okay. I love it when I prove people wrong. Anyway, good luck on your journey of winning that first Bombshell singles title though. You'll be champion someday.
Mercedes smiles as she's booed out of the building.
Mercedes: I just don't know if you'll be around in another FIVE YEARS.
Mercedes holds up an index finger in a wait-a-minute gesture.
Mercedes: Wait, I didn't mean it like that!
Mercedes lowers her microphone for a moment before offering a dismissive wave at the crowd.
Mercedes: Guess who is the only undefeated Bombshell left in 2024? It's certainly not Tempest. That's right. I am the ONE in 6-1!
Mercedes holds up her open palm and an index finger with her hand, showing six fingers.
Mercedes: And now Tempest is on my checklist!
Mercedes holds up her clipboard, now with Tempest's name added to it in cursive. Looking around the arena, Mercedes nods, smiling.
Mercedes: I beat the Bombshell Internet Champion, so I get my opportunity against Tempest at Into the Void. Now, granted, it wasn't my finest moment, but I got the job done and yours truly will be heading to Hawaii. I've had Tempest's number these days. So, tell me, who's more under pressure? The challenger who's still undefeated or the champion whose reign is mercifully coming to an end?
Mercedes tilts her head sideways, giving this important question much thought before she drops this pose in favor of returning to adjusting her microphone as she continues.
Mercedes: I hear someone had a birthday this past Friday. Wait, was it you, Tempest? Aww, well happy belated birthday, mamita. Kind, beautiful, an amazing person. But enough about me. If you don't want us to ask you what your real age is, that's okay. Another year has gone by, but you haven't gotten any wiser. Oh, well.
Crowd: BOO!
Mercedes: I hope you accept my birthday wishes and these lies on your special day.
Mercedes drops her microphone with flair as a cheesy grin crosses her face, adding a patronizing wink at the crowd for good measure. "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me" cues again and Mercedes sends an arrogant air kiss at the crowd before taking her leave by way of the steel steps to overwhelming boos.
Simone: We heard from the challenger to the Bombshell Internet Championship, Mercedes Vargas. I hope she gets everything that's coming to her after the stunts she pulled against these past two weeks.
Adams: You can't wish ill will on Mercedes Vargas, Bindy. She's a two-time Hall of Famer. A bonafide living legend.
Simone: Hell has no fury like a woman scorned. If I was Mercedes I would be very careful these few weeks.
Mercedes can be heard saying "and neeeeeew Bombshell Internet Champion" while making the title belt motion around her waist. An equal share of cheers and boos sends her out, with some shrill catcalls thrown in for good measure as she heads to the back.
The scene opens backstage where we see Krystal and her minions standing by Krystal with a scowl on her face.
Krystal: Stop me if you've heard this before, blonde bombshell who has NEVER beaten me before gets one lucky win and everyone craps on me because I have an ego, or as I see it? I'm the only bombshell around here that takes pride in her work!
Kelly: Seleana's a joke, she won't beat Julianna tonight!
Hayley: Totally!
Krystal: But if I say that on twitter the idiots in the division act like I'm full of shit when in reality I was just stating facts! And as soon as Julianna puts Seleana in her place I'll focus on getting my next win!
Krystal and her minions walk off as the scene fades.
Julianna DiMaria is minding her own business and she makes sure to look around and take a quick glance, possibly to ensure that Kayla Richards is nowhere nearby. But, she does get caught off guard by the sudden presence of Ms. Rocky Mountains. She's not too happy to see her.
Julianna: Don't even start.
Ms. Rocky Mountains: I didn't even say anything.
Julianna: You're so predictable though. You're going to ask me either what I'm feeling going into this match with Seleana Zdunich or you're going to ask me about the recent happenings with Kayla Richards.
Julianna rolls her eyes as she sees Ms. Rocky Mountains basically swallow her pride.
Julianna: I knew it.
Ms. Rocky Mountains: They're both fair questions, though.
Julianna: Is the one about Seleana fair? I mean, I already faced her once and I beat her and if you listened to what she had to say coming into this thing, there's absolutely nothing to talk about. Nothing. She doesn't say anything. All she did was quote a bunch of things I said in months past just to fulfill her "hen made of feathers" quota. I mean seriously, can she talk about anything else? Can she at least come up with any other analogy?
Ms. Rocky Mountains: Apparently not, but I'm the one that's asking the questions. I'm just saying.
Julianna: I've said what I've needed to say. I'm going to step into that ring for the first time since Blaze of Glory. I'm going to beat her, again. I'm going to move forward to Into the Void where I regain the SCW Bombshells World Championship. Is it easier said than done? Sure. But that's the agenda and that's what I am going to get done. Before you ask the question, I've recovered from the sting of Blaze of Glory. But at the same time, like I've been saying, Seleana is going to experience something completely different from me, I can promise that. She's going to be a message sent, without a shadow of a doubt.
Ms. Rocky Mountains: I'd be careful with underestimating her. She's coming off of a win against Krystal Wolfe and considering how you feel about her, a loss to her would be a huge hit to your confidence.
Julianna merely rolls her eyes at this.
Julianna: She beat Krystal Wolfe last week and suddenly, you're ringing the alarm bells? It's KRYSTAL WOLFE! Who cares? MY MOTHER could beat Krystal Wolfe and she hasn't wrestled a match since before I was even born. Seleana only won that match because of the same exact reason Georgie Useless Bitch even has that Golden Briefcase that is becoming more and more devalued with every loss she eats in that ring: because Krystal thought she was too good to face the opponent in question and thought she was entitled to a win. Stupid bitch! So now you're pumping up Seleana acting like it's a COMEBACK TOUR. No, that was yet again, beating an opponent that overlooked her.
I'm not going to make the same fucking mistake that she made. I'm not going into this thing with the same attitude that she did. Since Blaze of Glory, I've done what I can to continue to make myself better and that's going to be on full display when I beat her. I know Kayla's going to be watching but I'm not going to concern myself so much with that. She's going to keep coming after me one way or another and that's fine. That's the nature of war. But, it's one step at a time and Seleana is the first step, inside the ring, that I need to take to make sure I get that title back.
Ms. Rocky Mountains: Most former champions in your position would allow a loss like what you suffered break them to the point of never being able to get back to that level. But, it seems like that's not you. How were you able to pull through this so flawlessly? Or rather… as flawless as you made it seem?
Julianna: That's 'growth' for you, got it? Most people in this company lose the big one, act like it's the end of the world and then they never get back there. That's not me. I licked some wounds, sure. I felt the sting and the grief for like a day or two. That's unavoidable. But what I have learned since coming here is exactly the kind of wrestler I am capable of being and pushing through that adversity of Blaze of Glory is what is going to win me that title a second time at Into the Void. I'm not done yet… not even close…
With that, Julianna bolts from the interview, putting it to an abrupt end before another question can be asked.
Justin: This match is scheduled for one fall… introducing first… hailing from San Deigo, California… Julianna DiMaria.!
"Paranoid" hits the speakers as Julianna DiMaria appears on the stage, greeted by some boos from the fans in attendance. She ignores them and heads down to the ring with a confident, focused look on her face. Once she heads inside the ring, she cracks her knuckles, indicating she's ready to fight and afterward does the "talk to the hand" gesture toward all the fans that are booing her, displaying another touch of arrogance to get the fans against her even more.. She heads to her corner and scoffs at the reaction she's getting as the song fades and she waits for what's coming next.
Justin: And her opponent… Residing from Los Angeles, California… Seleana Zdunich!
The arena fades to black as the screen lights up and we are treated to an old school movie countdown image.

Suddenly the countdown is stopped by claws slashing through the image and a cat's roar sounds through the arena. Janet Jackson's "Black Cat" blasts through the speakers and Seleana Zdunich walks through the entranceway and makes her way to the ring, slapping hands along the way as the crowd cheers her on.
The ref moves in and check both for weapons before indicating for the bell to be rung…

She keeps hold of one of DiMaria's hand before grabbing the other and goes for a pin…
Simone: DiMaria kicks out, as they keep the lock in place and get to their feet, where DiMaria breaks and locks in a wrist lock. Zdunich shows that she is in discomfort as she seeks a way out of the move.
Adams: She stands to her feet and cartwheels before hitting an arm drag and into a pin.

TWO!
Kick out!
DiMaria pushes her body and shoulder up, as Zdunich releases one hand but keeps hold of the other, as she makes her way to her feet, which forces DiMaria up but just as DiMaria gets to her feet, Zdunich yanks on DiMaria's wrist and forces her down to a knee. Zdunich tweaks on DiMaria's wrist and she stands to her feet as she grits her teeth from the pain, as Zdunich does it a couple more times and DiMaria pulls herself towards the ropes and the manages to get to them, as the ref moves in…
Simone: Pinning both hands down, DiMaria gets her body up for two, as Zdunich makes her way to feet and pulls DiMaria up as she locks in a wrist lock of her own and works on the wrist and yanks on it before DiMaria pulls herself to the ropes and forces Zdunich to release.
ONE!

Zdunich releases and puts her hands up and takes a step backwards but DiMaria surprises Zdunich with a kick to her side. Which drops Zdunich to a knee and DiMaria grabs her and throws her out of the ring, as DiMaria smirks and brags to a chorus of boos and jeers from the fans. As Zdunich makes her way back to her feet as she looks up into the ring, as she takes a moment before climbing onto the ring apron and then steps back into the ring,
Adams: DiMaria suddenly surprises Zdunich with a kick and then throws her out of the ring. Zdunich takes a moment to compose herself before climbing back into the ring.
They circle the ring once more before moving in and they lock up, where they jockey for position before Zdunich breaks and shoves DiMaria before grabbing her hand and Irish whips her into the ropes, as DiMaria bounces off the ropes Zdunich shoulder blocks her down to the mat before she turns and leaps onto the ropes. DiMaria rolls out of the way as Zdunich hits a springboard moonsault but lands on her feet. DiMaria climbs back to her feet, as Zdunich turns and DiMaria rushes forward and hits a dropkick and sends Zdunich to the mat. DiMaria climbs back to her feet as she moves after Zdunich but Zdunich rolls from the ring and to the outside.
Simone: They lock up once more, as this time Zdunich breaks and gives DiMaria a shove before sending her into the ropes and as DiMaria comes back Zdunich connects with a shoulder block. Zdunich looks for a springboard moonsault, but DiMaria rolls away and Zdunich lands her feet.
Adams: DiMaria climbs to her feet as Zdunich turns, she is met with a dropkick and send Zdunich down to the mat, which Zdunich makes a swift exit.
Zdunich makes her way back to her feet, as DiMaria quickly backs off before leaping onto the ropes and then leaps off with a crossbody and catches Zdunich and sends her back down to the mat, as DiMaria rolls away holding her torso before making her way to her feet. Zdunich rolls herself onto her hands and feet and begins to crawl away, as the ref shouts at DiMaria and Zdunich to get back into the ring.
Adams: DiMaria makes her way to her feet and she quickly leaps onto the ropes and hits a flying crossbody onto Zdunich, she is quickly back to her feet, while Zdunich crawls away.
DiMaria moves to Zdunich, where she grabs her by the hair and drags her up, where she hit then hits the DiMaria Code 2.0 (Double knee back breaker). Zdunich rolls away coughing as she arches her back in pain as DiMaria makes her way back to her feet, as the ref starts a count.
ONE!

THREE! Simone: DiMaria isn't done as she hits a double knee backbreaker as the ref shouts at DiMaria to bring the action back into the ring, but DiMaria has other idea's DiMaria begins to stomp on Zdunich a few times before sitting Zdunich up into a seat position before following up with a shining wizard.

DiMaria makes her way back to her feet, as she looks up at the ref and then climbs into the ring to break the count before sliding back out and goes back to Zdunich. She grabs Zdunich by the hair and lifts her up and rolls her back into the ring… as the ref start their count again…

She slaps the mat, as she as she climbs to her feet and takes Zdunich with her and once to the feet, Zdunich surprises DiMaria with a hip toss. DiMaria rolls away as she scrambles to her feet, as Zdunich takes a few moments to get back to her feet as DiMaria rushes in, Zdunich gets an elbow up and catches DiMaria. DiMaria stumbles backwards holding her face as Zdunich moves in and grabs DiMaria and goes for a pin…
ONE!

Kick out!
DiMaria kicks out with ease, as she rolls away from Zdunich, while Zdunich still struggles for DiMaria's earlier attack. Zdunich moves to the ropes as she grabs then and pulls herself up, as she takes a moment and stretches as DiMaria sits up and checks her face following the high elbow and the bulldog. Zdunich then moves forward and catches DiMaria with a shining wizard of her own and DiMaria falls backwards. Zdunich moves in and bend down to grab her and DiMaria grabs her and rolls her up in a small package…
ONE!

Kick out! Zdunich kicks out and quickly moves away before making her way to feet, as DiMaria sits up once more as Zdunich moves in and grabs DiMaria by the hair and pulls her up and puts in a reverse headlock as she looks for Asai DDT but DiMaria blocks it and pushes Zdunich away. She quickly steps forward and grabs Zdunich and hits a neckbreaker.
Zdunich holds head and neck as DiMaria quickly scrambles forward and grabs Zdunich arm and then locks in the "Mercedes Bends" - (Bridging Fujiwara Armbar). Zdunich cries out and tries to struggle but she realizes that she is trapped and taps!
DING DING DING! Justin: Here is your winner -- Julianna DiMaria! Julianna pulls her arm away from the official and raises it herself as Seleana recovers on the mat and slowly rolls to the outside. The scene opens backstage where we see Ariana Angelos sitting on a crate.
Ariana: I haven...t seen action since my World Bombshell Title Match in England, I was hoping that I...d get a chance to bounce back tonight but nope.
Ariana shakes her head.
Ariana: I'll be waiting to see when I get booked again because just because my latest attempt to win the World Bombshell Championship fell short doesn't mean I'm done!
Ariana walks off as the scene fades.
The shot found itself opening up into a pitch black scenery. Only audio cues that could be heard was what sounded like someone breathing rather heavily in the darkness. Then all of the sudden what sounded like a match being struck could be heard. Sure enough a flame was seen as the masked figure that was the Entity could now be seen in the darkness. Their soulless eyes just gazing on that burning flame on the tip of the match in their gloved hand.
Not that long ago...
I spoke about HIM.
But you were all clueless to who HIM was.
It was done by design to keep you in the dark.
More importantly it was done to keep HIM in the dark.
Their wicked smirk that was becoming quite the trademark could be seen crossing their painted lips.
In two thousand and thirteen.
HE was the reason that I didn't get resigned here in SCW.
HE was the reason the view on me changed.
HE was the reason I fizzled out in the eyes of the fans.
I was looked at as a joke because of HIM.
Mark and Christian no longer saw me as a main event player.
Because of HIM.
And HE didn't show any remorse for it.
HE didn't feel bad about it.
All HE cared about is how it benefited HIM at the time.
This left me bitter. It left me jaded.
It left me craving violence and it left me wanting to get revenge.
Sadly a few weeks Mark had to pay the piper.
If he would've just given me HIM from the start.
It may not have gone down the path it did.
But at the same time. Mark had that coming to him as well.
However HE was always the true target.
Of course at this moment the SCW audience were letting their voices be heard. Their boos became as loud as they could make them. The Entity was by no means someone they supported and talking in riddles only frustrated the faithful fans even more.
In case it's not clicking.
Allow me to put it into the most simple of terms.
GOTH was HIM all along.
He was always the one I was going to go after.
I just needed for the stars to align and the situation to be right.
Last week that situation became right.
The moment you thought you could retire, Goth.
How could you think you get to walk away peacefully?
How dare you believe you got to end things on your own terms?!
How unfair it is to me for you to think you could just leave
Without paying for your sin.
And without paying for what you did to me eleven years ago.
I would no doubt be standing here as a certified Hall of Famer.
If it wasn't for you.
I'd been a ten time World Heavyweight Champion.
I'd been the single most dominant Roulette Champion.
I'd made sure the joke that is the Internet Division never existed.
I'd held the tag team champions again. With more qualifying partners.
I'd had more Blast from the Past tournament wins than anyone else.
I would've been everything I said I was going to be. If it wasn't for you!
Their tone of voice said everything it needed to say. Lots and lots of spite in their tone. Lots of hate in their tone. Lots of bitterness. Fans picking up on it causing them to boo more.
I simply cannot forget what you did to me.
My heart is far too dark and hateful to ever...
Forgive you for what you did to me.
Being spiteful fuels me,
And while I can't make you reap what you sow.
Too much time has passed. I can however be the one.
That sends you into retirement. By making sure you're paralyzed.
And spin the rest of your life in a wheelchair.
That statement didn't do the Entity any favors. The last thing those fans wanted to see was Goth retire. They surely didn't want to see him having great bodily harm done to him. Entity finally let their eyes fall to the cameras
Goth, they say that you should never play with fire.
Because you're going to get burned.
A lesson you thought you'd escaped. After all, you played with fire for so long.
Never once has anything happened to you, but karma catches us all one day.
It all BLEW UP in your face last week.
And the best part is, that's just the beginning.
It's not even half of what I am truly capable of.
It's not even close to what you're going to endure.
Because When I see you again. I'm finishing what was started eleven years ago.
You will go down in flames!
No sooner than that last word was spoken. Entity blew air forward putting out the match that was in their hand returning to the pitch black. As soon as that happened the cameras shot back to the ringside area. Showing those unhappy hands after what they just had to hear. The attention now being shifted to the next match scheduled to take place.
SPECIAL CHALLENGE
Goth vs ENTITY
The cameras were back at ringside for the next scheduled contest of the night. The arena lights dim as the bassline to "Blood" begins to rumble around the arena. As the guitar riff hits, so does the lights, revealing Mark "The Dragon" Cross standing, one fist aloft, at the top of the aisle.
Justin: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is part of the Blast from the Past tournament. Introducing first from Canterbury, England, standing at 6'1" and weighing in at 225lb.. MARK "The Dragon" CROSS!
Receiving recognition from the crowd, he strides purposefully to ringside, taking a moment to survey the scene as he reaches the apron. Once he is done looking out at the crowd. Cross swings his leg over the middle rope and gets into the ring. His music starting to die down.
That's when "Nightmare (Reprise)" by Halsey begins to play and the lights flicker a few times before they stay on and Eiley walks out onto the stage. She smirks before stopping at the top of the ramp, her hands on her hips. She stands there for a few seconds with her hands on her hips before she walks down the ramp, ignoring the fans as she walks to the ring.
Justin: And now his tag team partner, making her way to the ring. From Honolulu, Hawaii... EILEY!
She stops at the bottom of the ramp and looks around before walking to the steel steps and jobs up them before stepping onto the apron and then getting into the ring between the top and middle rope. She stands in the middle of the ring and does a simple pose before moving off to one of the turnbuckles and climbs up and sits on the top turnbuckle.
Mark and Cross are in the ring talking strategy for the match coming up. When "Diamond and the Gem Stones" begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele emerging from the curtain with a microphone in her hand. She sings as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers.
Justin: Now introducing their opponents. Making her way to the ring at this time. All the way from London, England. 'The Mistress of the Microphone' DIAMOND STEELE!
Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who cheers louder than before. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin.
The surge of excitement from the jam packed arena could be felt. Each fan in attendance had high vibes, but little did they know they were about to be brought down. The opening beat to "Bad Man" by Polo G began to play over the building's speakers. That was more than enough to start turning those high vibes into low ones. From the song alone it had the crowd booing pretty heavily. Letting their voices be heard even if it wouldn't change anything as far as the outcome goes.
Cameras found themselves cutting over towards the ring entrance area. Standing right there peering out into the sea of fans with a big of a sour expression on his face was none other than "The Brat" himself. Jayden's sour expression didn't let up for even a second. Letting the boos being thrown in his direction simply roll off his back. Thumbing over his nose briefly, he began to march towards the ring.
Justin: And now introducing her tag team partner. Making his way to the ring. From Chicago, Illinois. Weighing in at two hundred and five pounds. The Brat, JAYDEN HARRIS!
By that point Jayden had made his way towards the ringside area. Ignoring the rude remarks being tossed in his direction by those fans with the front row seats. He found himself stopping right at the ring steps to peer around the arena with that same soured expression. There was a slight eye roll that escaped the second generation wrestler. Before he began to journey up the steps and walk across the ring apron.
Once Jayden hit the middle of the apron. He swung his left leg over the middle rope and climbed inside the ring. That bombastic side eye on his expression said everything it needed to say. He was not interested in being bothered. Approaching one of the corners of the ring. Leaning chest first into the corner and glaring out at the crowd. Simply waiting for the bell to ring for the scheduled contest.
DING DING DING!
Once the bell sounded the match was under way. Cross and Jayden found themselves standing face to face with each other. Jayden looked unimpressed with Cross saying something to him. All of the sudden Jayden shoved Cross out of his face and caused the former World Champion to back up a couple of inches. Cross just looked at him with a bit of a laugh before rushing the younger star Both men finding themselves locking up.
Cross became aggressive with the rookie right away with getting control and shoving Jayden back into the corner with all his might. Dawn Barnes right there to enforce the rules and demand there be a break up with the hold considering that Cross had Jayden in the corner. That's when Cross broke the lockup and took a couple steps back. As soon as he did though, Jayden came forward and proceeded to SLAP the taste right out of the veteran's mouth.
Simone: The lack of respect for Mark Cross!
Adams: And it's not going to do Jayden any favors.
Simone: Not at all. Mark on paper has Jayden beat in every category. Not to mention he's the most successful man to ever compete in this tournament.
Adams: Oh boy! I can see it in Cross's face he's very upset!
This triggered something within Cross. It instantly caused Cross to go red in the face. Before Jayden had a chance to react, Cross grabbed a hold of him by his head and neck TOSSING the rookie across the ring. Jayden flipped and landed harshly on his back. Rising to his feet in pain from the toss. Once he turned around there was Mark to grip a hold of him and take him down with a JAPANESE ARM DRAG!
Jayden was in a little bit of a loop. Clearly not expecting his actions to cause things to kick off the way they did. He reached out for the ropes and used them to get back to his feet. Letting go of the ropes to turn around right into a JUMPING KNEE to the face. This resulted in Jayden's eyes rolling into the back of his head before he fell down and found himself flopping out of the ring.
Adams: That's probably the smartest thing he could do at this moment. Get the hell out of dodge.
Simone: I don't even think that was on Jayden's own accord. That knee just rocked him so hard his body just fell where it fell.
For the moment Jayden was safe, but he wasn't about to stay safe. Cross rolled right out of the ring grabbing a hold of the limp rookie. Lifting him up some. Cross slammed Jayden's head off the ring apron before rolling him into the ring. Jayden rolled all the way to the middle, but even despite the onslaught of offense being delivered.
He was trying to get right back up in order to have control of some kind. Anything to swing the momentum before things got too out of hand. He had no sooner than got up to one knee before Cross slid back into the ring and blasted him with SHINING WIZARD that took Jayden back down. This was when Cross went for the first pin attempt of the match.
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT FROM JAYDEN!
Simone: Despite the onslaught that he's endured so far. Jayden looks like he's got a whole lot of fight still left in him.
Adams: But why fight it? The man says he doesn't care about this tournament. He doesn't want to win. Then why would he keep trying?
Simone: I mean you're not wrong. It doesn't make a lot of sense. But I think that Harris' ego is something else.
Adams: Well, it was fun not dealing with that ego. He should just get fired like his father did.
Cross had that full control and had Jayden right where he wanted him. Grabbing a hold of Jayden's hair he pulled him right up to his feet. Before landing a snug forearm that had Jayden stumbling back. Cross landed another snug forearm. This time knocking Jayden off his feet and sending him into the ropes. With the rookie still in a daze, Cross grabbed a hold of Jayden's wrist and then yanked him up from the kneeling position he was in and caught him on his shoulders.
That's when the former World Champion spun towards the middle of the ring with Jayden on his shoulders. Quickly attempting for the GO TO SL-NOOOOO! Jayden landed a stiff elbow to the side of his head. Followed by another. Followed by another. Allowing himself to slip down from the shoulders of Cross. Jayden fell back towards the corner, as it proved to be a situation where he baited Cross. Because the moment Cross rushed him.
Jayden leaped up and caught him with a pair of DOUBLE KNEES that sent Cross flying backwards towards the mat. Cross rolled right back to his feet only to see Jayden come flying out of the corner with a picture perfect DOUBLE JUMP CROSSBODY that caused him to land across the body of Cross and take him to the mat as he landed on top of the man and hooked one of his legs for the cover.
Adams: I didn't think the kid could take to the air like that!
ONE!
Simone: Might not like Jayden for his attitude, but for a young up and comer. He's got quite the deep nag of tricks to use. Very versatile in the ring.
TWO!
Adams: Is that really going to seal the deal here?!
STRONG KICK OUT FROM MARK!
Simone: Nope! Mark isn't going to ever go out like that!
Cross kicking out caused Jayden to roll up to his feet. He was getting to his feet when Cross rolled over into a three point stance. Jayden didn't even have a chance to get close to the man before Cross exploded out of that three point stance and hit Jayden with a POUNCE like move that shot Jayden into the ropes before he hit the mat hard. Seeing this had the crowd cheering loudly for the former World Champion. Cross looking at the crowd with a smirk.
Simone: Goodness! Mark almost sent Jayden flying out of the ring.
Adams: That's the football background coming into things.
Jayden was rolling around on the mat trying to shake the cobwebs loose. He was starting to get up again when Cross came up behind and grabbed a hold of his hair pulling him up. No sooner than he pulled the kid up. Jayden proceeded to dig his fingers right into the eyes of Cross to blind him for the moment. Cross stumbled back holding his eyes as Dawn quickly warned Jayden about the illegal tactic. He ignored her and zeroed in on Cross
Adams: That should've been a disqualification. It was right in front of Dawn.
Simone: I don't like Jayden anymore than you do, but I don't think that should have been a DQ. Sure, it's illegal but that's minor compared to going low or using a foreign object.
The moment Cross put his hands down. Jayden caught him with a right hand in the jaw. Then another right hand. Cross stumbled back but quickly exploded with a CLOTHESL-NOOOOO! Jayden had that scouted as he quickly ducked under the arm of Cross while hooking him around the waist. Quickly he lifted Cross up with a GERMAN SUPLEX! Jayden then rolled his hips while keeping a hold of Cross and stood them both up. Only to take Cross over head with a second GERMAN SUPLEX to the middle of the ring. Keeping his arms still latched to Cross's waist. Jayden willed them both back to their feet lifting Cross up for a THIRD and FINAL GERMAN SUPLEX in the ring.
Adams: The trifecta of German Suplexes!
Simone: That might've been exactly what Jayden needed to firmly stay in control here!
Adams: I don't want to agree with that statement, but driving someone on their head and neck three times in a row can do a lot of damage.
Simone: This is the perfect chance to take it home.
Adams: It would be, if the kid even has those kinds of instincts to pick up on that. Some things you can't be taught. It doesn't matter who your famous daddy is.
It's almost like Jayden could hear the commentary. Because he quickly got to his feet as he started to back up. His eyes narrowed on Cross motioning for him to get up. That's exactly what Cross was doing. Slowly rising to his knees with his back turned to Jayden. Before the Brat could charge towards him, Diamond reached over the top rope and TAGGED herself into the match. Jayden instantly spun around with hatred in her eyes. Dawn acknowledges the tag and tells Jayden to get out of the ring.
Diamond got into the ring smirking right in Jayden's face. The whole time he glared at her as he stepped through the ropes to take his place on the corner. All of the sudden he could be heard shouting at Diamond loud enough for everyone to hear "Mark my words. You'll regret that!" Diamond ignored every bit of it as she headed for the middle of the ring motioning for Eiley to get in as Cross just made his way over to make that forceful tag.
Simone: Diamond is making a statement here tonight. She's not going to put up with Jayden.
Adams: I get last week they didn't get along. I'm aware that they're not exactly keen on teaming with each other. But that's the name of the game when you become part of this tournament.
Simone: Oh one hundred percent. That's the risk of it all. But I can also understanding wanting to stand up for yourself.
Adams: All that did was cause a further divide amongst them. What happens if she's going to actually need him later in this match?
Simone: I guess in her mind she doesn't see that being a thing.
Once Eiley was in the ring Diamond immediately grabbed a hold of her by the head and dragged her to the middle of the ring. This is where she took the time to drive her knees right into the sternum of Eiley. Shot after shot. Taking big blows. Before she fell out, Diamond stopped with the knees and then whipped Eiley to one of the opposite corners. Diamond took one look at her with a smirk before charging the corner going for a YAKUZA KIC-NOOO! Eiley dodged the kick at last second.
This caused Diamond to ger her foot caught up on the top rope for a brief moment. That brief moment was all that Eiley needed. She grabbed a hold of Diamond by the hair and then WHIPPED her backwards the mat with everything she had. Her head smacked against the mat with force as it caused Diamond to immediately clutch the back of her head as she was in some pain. Eiley found herself briefly strutting across the ring with some confidence in her step.
Adams: There's that oozing confidence of Eiley. We've all had to experience it before.
Simone: I for one am glad to see Eiley back into the fold of things and glad to see that she hasn't missed a step at all in her time away.
Adams: Well, not to shade anyone or anything. But Eiley has always proven to thrive in a mixed tag team setting. This is her in her element.
Eiley turned back around to see that Diamond was trying to get to her feet. That wasn't going to fly with her as she rushed in for a RUNNING KNEE STRI-NOPE! Diamond pushed Eiley right out of her way and managed to miss the knee. As she exploded to her feet and went running towards the ropes. Hitting them for leverage, but the moment she was on her way back. Eiley cut her off short with a SPEAR that nearly took Diamond out of her shoes. Eiley quickly went for the cover.
ONE!
TWO!
KICK OUT FROM DIAMOND!
She was able to power out with plenty of time. Eiley just looked at her for a second with an annoyed expression on her facial features. Not a fan of the match still needing to continue. She grabbed those long locks of Diamond and began to pull her up to her feet. She landed a kick to Diamond's gut the both they were at a vertical basis to cause the woman to double over. Eiley then lifted Diamond up for the GORY SPECI-NOO! Before she could get the submission locked in. Diamond landed an elbow to the side of Eiley's head to free herself.
Adams: Ooh the elbow was crucial might've saved Diamond from being in a very bad position.
Simone: I have to agree with you, Jason. Eiley is a fantastic mat and submission based wrestler. Not quite sure Diamond is built for that kind of resilience when a submission is locked in.
Eiley was trying to shake off the effects of that stunning elbow. She was quick to turn around but as soon as she did. She was met with a PELE KICK to the top of the head from Diamond. Eiley crumbled to the mat and in doing so she found herself rolling to the outside. Diamond looked a little annoyed at how Eiley's natural instincts took over and got her out of the ring. But she found herself dropping down and rolling out of the ring to go after Eiley.
She grabbed a hold of Eiley and started to lift her up. No sooner than she got her up to her feet. Eiley popped her hands up and then drove her knee into Diamond's gut to cut her off. She then grabbed Diamond by the head and BASHED it off the ring apron. Only for Eiley to lift Diamond up and rolling her back into the ring. Eiley showed her arrogance by dusting her hands off like she had truly put an end to Diamond.
Simone: Eiley better reel it in just a little bit. She's showing off a little too much and it could cost her.
Adams: This is wrestling. We all know that being confident is a big part of things, but I do agree. Overdoing it could be your downfall.
Inside the ring Diamond was trying to get to her feet as Eiley stepped back in herself. She grabbed a hold of Diamond by her hair and pulled her up. That's when Diamond struck with a boot to the gut of her own. Before Eiley even knew what hit her. She was being hoisted up and then driven down onto her head with a BRAINBUSTER smack dab in the middle of the ring. After the move was a success Jayden could be heard stomping on the steel steps and extending his hand out for the tag.
Diamond was slow to get to her feet, but she did so. She found herself turning around to see Jayden waiting on the tag. She made a couple of steps towards the man, but as soon as she got close enough. She found herself bringing both hands up and giving Jayden the DOUBLE BIRD right to his face. Despite being someone the crowd didn't like. This got a major reaction out of them. Jayden's face was instantly turning a shade of red. His blood was boiling with Diamond turning back to Eiley.
Adams: The Double Bird! Oh man, the look on that kid's face.
Simone: That's twice now she's gotten the better of her tag partner. Diamond is shining bright.
Adams: She just better hope. She keeps control now. There's no way Jayden helps her now.
Eiley had her back turned to Diamond as she was using the ropes to help herself get up. What she didn't know is that Diamond was right behind her waiting in the winds. As soon as Eiley let go of the rope and she turned herself around. Diamond stuck fiercely catching Eiley by the head and driving her into the mat with a DIAMOND CUTTER! No sooner than it connected Diamond rolled Eiley onto her back and made the cover.
Simone: The Diamond Cutter! Is that all she wrote?!
ONE!
Adams: It very well could be. As we talked about before. Having your head and neck driven into the mat is no joke. It can knock you out on impact!
TWO!
Simone: And Eiley is showing no signs of movement right now!
THRE-NOOOOOOOO!
EILEY REACHES OUT AND GRABS THE BOTTOM ROPE.
DAWN SEES IT JUST BEFORE SHE MAKES THE THREE COUNT!
Adams: Wow! Wow! The ring awareness of Eiley right there!
Simone: That was too close for comfort I imagine for that young woman!
In the ring Diamond smacked her hands against the mat in frustration as she truly thought that was it. Diamond turned around and grabbed a hold of the arm of Eiley. Yanking it from the bottom rope where she had grabbed and rolled her onto her stomach for "SHIPWRECK-NOOO!" Before she could lock in that signature armbar. Eiley got her feet in position to kick Diamond away from her and bought herself some time for the moment.
Both women found themselves up on their feet within seconds. Diamond trying to strike first but Eiley blocked it. She landed a forearm to the jaw of Diamond to send her reeling. However Diamond came back with a forearm of her own that sent Eiley back a couple of inches. Then both women tried to strike at the same time DOUBLE STIFF FOREARMS as each of them caught the other right on the tip of the jaw and in doing so it knocked them both back against the mat.
Simone: They're both down and out!
Adams: That's the thing about catching someone on the jaw. You do it just right and you're going to sleep. In this case they both landed that same spot.
Simone: This is the time where they both need their partners! Whoever makes it to the corner first could end up seeing this thing come to an end.
Adams: You can say that again.
Eiley was trying to get to her corner, but Diamond was the first one to roll over to her stomach. When she looked up Jayden was in the corner actually willing her on. Despite all that happened he still had his hand out and he was almost begging to get into the match. Diamond forced herself up and dove towards the corner to make a ta-
NO! JAYDEN JUMPED OFF THE APRON!
He stood right there at ringside with the most devious smirk on his lips. Diamond's jaw about ready to hit the floor as she looked a little bit shocked by his actions. She leaned against the ropes and could be seen saying something but it couldn't be made out. With that smirk on his lips, Jayden began to walk away from the ringside area.
Adams: I told you, Belinda! I told you!
Simone: What a no good prick!
Adams: I'm all for Jayden Harris slander, but Diamond made it personal tonight. Tagging herself in. Flipping him off. He told her she was going to regret it and now look at the situation!
Simone: This isn't right and you know it, Jason.
Jayden was walking closer and closer towards the little makeshift ramp. Keeping his eyes on the ring with a smirk. Diamond hadn't taken her eyes off him. Shouting now showing she was visibly upset. Then all of the sudden she was spun around by Eiley. As soon as she did Eiley wasted no time in catching the unsuspecting Diamond in her clutches for "FINCH'S SONG" right there in the middle of the ring. Tugging hard on the arms of Diamond and securing her legs tight around her head. Dawn was right in position to see Diamond start to TAP OUT realizing she couldn't get out of the hold as the bell was called for.
DING DING DING!
Justin: Here are your winners and advancing in the Blast From The Past tournament: EIIILLEEEYYY and MAAARRKKK CRROOOSSSS!
With the bell sounding Eiley quickly let go of the hold and shoved Diamond to the ground to let her sulk in her own self pity. Right away Mark Cross got into the ring to join his partner. Dawn stands between the both of them before raising both Eiley and Cross's arm into the air for their victory.
Simone: There you have it folks. The team moved on to the next round.
Adams: Are we going to act like we are surprised by this? There were just far too many issues with the Diamond and Jayden team from the start. It was never going to last.
Simone: I don't blame anyone other than Jayden for that. He never cared about this tournament. He didn't ever want to win. Not the way Diamond did. He cost her.
Adams: I don't disagree that Jayden was the wrong person to team with. But I don't think if they had even been on the same page they'd gotten through this match.
Simone: I personally hope Diamond sticks around for the foreseeable future. And Jayden just disappears.
Adams: Again, I don't like the kid either. But I don't think he's going anywhere anytime soon.
The celebration continued into the ring. With a close up shot catching Diamond sitting on the edge of the ring visibly upset and visibly angry about how things ended up playing out. Slapping that mat in frustration she then hopped down from the apron to start heading for the back. Cameras catching another shot of Mark and Eiley celebrating their win to a mixed reaction from the crowd. It wasn't long before the cameras found themselves cutting elsewhere.
The cameras had gone from the ringside area right to the backstage area. Jayden had just been seen walking through the curtains of the gorilla position. The few people that worked in the backstage scene kind of gave him dirty looks for what he had just done out there in the ring. Not a single look seemed to bother him. Jayden began to unravel the tape on his wrist and keep walking. That was until he was being cut off by a familiar face. Scott Oliver being that person. Jayden just glared at him for the moment.
Scott Oliver: Jayden.
Jayden Harris: The hell do you want?
Scott Oliver: I was asked to get a word with you. Order from the bosses. Not mine.
Jayden Harris: So you're a puppet? Just say that next time.
His smirk on his facial features was very much apparent. As the man couldn't resist to take a shot at Scott who was simply just doing his job.
Jayden Harris: Make it quick. I don't have all day to waste with dumbasses.
Scott Oliver: Uh, right then. Everyone just witnessed you and Diamond come up short and lose your...
Jayden Harris: ... Correction. I DIDN'T lose anything. Diamond lost out there tonight. She's the one that tapped out. She's the reason why we're out of the tournament. She's the reason this was all nothing more than a giant waste of time.
Scott Oliver:I'm not quite sure if that's how others look at it.
Jayden Harris: Do I look like the type to care?
Scott Oliver: No sir.
It was clear based on Scott's response. Being around Jayden made him uneasy, but he did his best to keep going forward with his job.
Scott Oliver: But back to what I was saying. The two of you are now out of the Blast from the Past tournament. To which you had a major hand in when you left Diamond high and dry. Can we get the reason for why?
Jayden Harris: You really need a reason? I haven't made it obvious by now?
Scott Oliver:I guess not.
Jayden Harris: I said it so many times in the past. This tournament was just to get my foot in the door. It was never a priority for me, but the moment I saw who my partner was. I knew she wasn't any good. I knew I couldn't count on her. I knew she was going to choke when it mattered the most. And then she wants to disrespect me? Nah, fuck her. She got what she deserved tonight.
Scott Oliver: But aren't you worried about the repercussions of your actions?
Jayden Harris: What's she going to do bury me on twitter? Dawg, I aint worried about her. I did what I had to do. I showed her where her place is tonight. Now she's no longer my problem.
Tossing the tape he got off his wrist into the nearby trashcan.
Scott Oliver: Guess if that's how you feel no one can tell you otherwise. But one last question I have for you. You've mentioned you came to SCW with an agenda. You had other things you wanted to focus on. The tournament was nothing but to get your foot in the door. So, what is your goal?
Jayden Harris: You think it's just that easy. Like I am going to give any of those idiots in the locker room any kind of heads up for the hell I'm about to bring their way. I want them as in the dark as possible. I want them to never see it coming. I got that ambush when they least expect it type mentality.
Scott Oliver:You can't give us anything?
Jayden Harris: Not when it comes to what my ultimate goal is. But I do have one thing to say. One person to address. Aye, J2H. You want to sneak diss me prior to me showing up. Then you want to ambush my first night here. Sucker punch me in my face. And the funniest part is you like to throw the word bitch around like some kind of tough guy, but after sucker punching me you want to go back into hiding like a bitch.
His expression stayed twisted up in that traditional scowl of his.
Jayden Harris: Next week. I'll be here at Climax Control. So if you can suddenly grow a pair of balls again. Let's see you punch me in the face when I'm expecting it. Are you a man or are you a coward?
Following the challenge being laid down. Jayden found himself pushing Scott out of his way to make sure he couldn't ask him anything else. Jayden continued his way towards the locker room area. Scott stood there straightening out his tie before he cued the cameras to cut away from him.
As the camera pans around the venue we catch a glimpse of Bill and Bea Barnhart sitting at a table near where Jason Adams and Belinda Simone give commentary on the wrestling matches. We see that Bill is dressed in a black Tuxedo and Bea is dressed in a slinky black dress. The camera person focuses on the duo to see if they will issue any comments concerning their Blast From The Past Tournament matches.
Bea: I want to state that although me and my partner, Konrad Raab, in the Blast From The Past Tournament did not get past the first round I have to say it was still exciting for me. Nobody can win all their matches and it just was not our time for the win. Since both me and Bill are not scheduled for a match at Climax Control 393 we were able to obtain seating at ringside near where Jason Adams and Belinda Simone provide commentary on the matches. It appears that Nakita Niles feels that I was the reason her and Caleb Storms lost to Bill and Roux. So now it appears that Nakita did not want to see my team advance in the Tournament so she interfered in my match which caused me and Konrad Raab to lose the match. I take issue with the Referee we had for failing to call a Disqualification on our opponents for getting interference to cause us the loss. Oh well...stuff happens...maybe me and Nakita can get a one-on-one match and settle this once and for all.
Bill: Sorry your team lost Bea. It happens. Just sorry that it was because of interference on the part of your opponents. At least me and Roux won our first Blast From The Past Tournament match and we are looking forward to lasting until the final match in the tournament.
Bea: Even though I did not advance in the Blast From The Past Tournament I will still be at ringside for your matches as I am officially your Manager.
Bill: Thanks for being in my corner to keep my opponents, and the Referees, honest and fair. That is all we wish to state at this time. Thanks.
The camera person moves away from Bill and Bea to focus on other things going on in the venue.
GRUDGE MATCH
Nakita Niles vs Bea Barnhart
Justin: The following contest is a non-title match, scheduled for one fall to a finish!
Tomorrow Never Comes by Rancid plays over the sound system as Rodrigo comes down the ramp on his skateboard as he high-fives the fans along the way. He then stands on the ramp with his skateboard as the announcement comes with cheers coming from the crowd.
Justin: From Lisbon, Portugal, he weighs at one hundred and seventy pounds; he's a skateboarding wrestling prodigy, "Mister Golden Briefcase" Rodrigo Afonso!"
After the announcement, he does a couple of kickflips on his skateboard to attract the crowd, all of which cheer for him. He kicks the skateboard up and slides straight into the ring with his face painted up. He climbs on the turnbuckle for a roar as he beats his chest like a beast with the crowd cheering for him as he got down from the turnbuckle and does a kickflip once again on his skateboard before he slides out of the ring to give his skateboard to the ring crew before sliding in the ring again, sitting behind a turnbuckle waiting for his opponent to come out.
Justin: And his opponent…!
"DO YOU CROSS YOUR HEART WHEN YOU HOPE TO DIE?"
The lights dim down and cast the arena in a red glow, and for a moment -- only a moment -- the crowd quiets down just a smidge. The drum riff opening that carries into an aggressive rhythm of guitar chords breaks out as "Black Lungs" by Architects blares out over the P.A. System. This brings the crowd to their feet -- both in a positive and negative reaction, completely mixed.
The spotlight doesn't fall upon the stage, instead flowing across the crowd as the lyrics describe more than just a time in the world. Finn Whelan appears not from the curtain, but from one of the visitor entrances with a semi-cocky swagger written into his denim jeans. He stops at the top of the steps for a moment, a slight smirk on his face as he glances down at the people around him, blockaded off by the typical burly security guards. The crowd is not booing, but they're not exactly cheering either. He sets his eyes upon the ring below, and then makes his way down slowly, ignoring the people around him though a few of them clap him on the shoulders as he descends.
Justin: Making his way toward the ring! From New York City! He is the current World Heavyweight Champion AND one-half of the reigning World Mixed Tag Team Champions! Finn Whelan!!!
At the barrier, he slings himself over and slides immediately underneath the bottom rope and leaps to his feet in the center of the ring. He heads directly for the ropes in front of him, and hops up onto the bottom one, bouncing slightly as he looks back at the crowd, choosing a few choice words to share with them. e drops down from it, and pulls of his vest as he heads to his place against the turnbuckle, leaning into it and looking upwards at the stage (or conversely, at his opponent) past his brow as his music fades out.
Once both competitors are inside of the six-sided ring, referee Drew Patton calls for the bell!
DING DING DING!
As soon as the bell rings, both Rodrigo and Finn begin to circle one another before meeting at the center of the ring, where they quickly lock up into a collar and elbow tie up. The two struggled back and forth for leverage, with neither man able to gain the upper hand before breaking it off and backing up. They stare across the ring at each other for a moment before both jumping back to the center of the ring and tying up again, this time Finn quickly dropping down and taking Rodrigo over a fireman's carry takedown. Rodrigo quickly springs back up to his feet and stares back at Finn, who simple stares back dead in the eye.
Adams: It's really hard to tell what's going through Finn's head with those dead eyes of his, isn't it?
Simone: I wouldn't say that the man has 'dead eyes'. He has… well… no that's a pretty apt description.
The two tie right back up, but this time Rodrigo quickly brings a knee up into the taller man's ribs. As Finn doubles over, Rodrigo quickly nails him with an uppercut to the jaw, knocking him straight back up, followed with a number of forearms that sends Finn stumbling back against the ropes. Rodrigo fires him across the ring with an Irish whip. Finn hits the far ropes and bounces back and Rodrigo drops down to for a back body drop, but Finn leapfrogs right over him and hits the other ropes. He bounces back and Rodrigo turns around just in time to catch a savate kick to the jaw!
Simone: Finn is looking to take complete control of this match that was meant to take place three weeks ago.
Finn waits as Rodrigo stumbles back up to his feet and strikes with a knife edge chop that sends Afonso reeling and turning in a full circle! Finn then comes off of the ropes and jumps, driving him face-first with a one-handed bulldog. Finn then mounts Rodrigo at the waistline and starts to hammer him with repeated right hands, as Drew starts his count…
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
And Finn eventually breaks it up. Finn backs off and waits as Rodrigo gets back up and as soon as he does, Finn moves right back in. Finn kicks Rodrigo in the gut, doubling him over. He pulls Rodrigo in, hooks him up and starts to lift him for a suplex. However, Rodrigo manages to float over Finn and out of the suplex attempt, falling right behind Finn and then quickly grabbing him around the waist and rolling him up into a Backlund cradle!
ONE!
TWO!
Finn kicks out!
The kick out propels Rodrigo into the ropes and as he comes off the far side and Finn rises, Rodrigo plants him head-first with a float-over DDT! Rodrigo with a second cover!
ONE!
TWO!
Finn kicks out!
Adams: Rodrigo is trying to make the most out of this!
Simone: And why not? He is in there against the champion of the world!
Rodrigo grabs Finn by the back of the head and pulls him back up. Rodrigo then shoves Finn back into the corner and starts to lay in sharp, knife-edge chops across the chest of Finn, sending an echo throughout the arena!
Crowd: WOOOOO!!!
Adams: I was wondering when we'd get to that.
Simone: Even as far away as France…
Suddenly Finn grabs Rodrigo and shoves Mr. Golden Briefcase back into the corner. Finn then starts to lay in a flurry of punches right to the jaw of Rodrigo, rocking him back into the corner again and again before he eventually goes falling down to the mat, just barely propped up by the ropes. Finn then backs off, runs the ropes, bounces back and hits a dropkick right to the face of the seated Rodrigo!
Simone: Finn rallying a furious comeback, and things aren't looking so good for Rodrigo right now.
Rodrigo lays in the corner, seemingly completely out of it as Finn gets right back up and pulls Rodrigo out from the corner, placing him diagonal to the corner. Finn then springboards up and comes right back down with a split-legged moonsault! He quickly hooks the leg!
ONE!
TWO!
Rodrigo gets the shoulder up!
Adams: Ooo! That was close!
Simone: It certainly was and now that Finn knows Rodrigo means business, he is attempting to put him away and the sooner, the better!
Finn doesn't even hesitate as he immediately springs right back up to his feet. He quickly grabs Rodrigo and starts to pull him back up, back as Rodrigo is about half way up to his feet, he quickly jams his fingers into Finn's mouth, beneath the tongue in a mandible claw!
Adams: What were you saying about who putting anyway who, Bel!?
Simone: This is from out of nowhere! Rodrigo is going for the submission win!
Rodrigo cranks on the hold tightly, slowly forcing the Heavyweight Champion down to his knees! He clenches even tighter but Finn refuses to give up as Drew is asking him if he wants to fight another day and simply give this one up! Despite Rodrigo having his legs tightly wrapped around Finn's body, Finn manages to muscle his way up slightly and he grabs Afonso by the tights and he dumps him through the ropes and to the outside! Rodrigo almost hits the floor but manages to hang onto the ropes!
Simone: There was simply nothing else that Finn Whelan could do to get out of that claw hold!
Finn shakes the cobwebs and checks his jaw as he pulls himself back to his feet and he turns around and Rodrigo catches him by complete surprise, using the top rope as a launching pad and he sails into the ring with a Hurricanrana, hooking both of Finn's legs under his arms in a tightly held pin fall!
ONE!
TWO!
Finn kicks out!
Simone: ALMOST a three!
Rodrigo is in a state of disbelief as he looks at the referee and then at Finn with wide eyes. Rodrigo then stands and grabs Finn, dragging him up into a front face lock when suddenly Finn rallies up all his strength and wraps his arms around Rodrigo and lights him up and over straight into a Northern Lights suplex!
ONE!
TWO!
Rodrigo kicks out!
Both men lay down on the mat as the referee checks on them both before he begins his count!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
Finn is the first man up, as he slowly stumbles up to his feet. He looks over at Rodrigo who just seems to be pulling himself back up and the two then begin to exchange right hands back and forth as they work their way up to their feet. Finn starts to gain the upper hand, and knocks Rodrigo back against the rope before shooting him off with an Irish whip, but Rodrigo reverses it and sends Finn to the ropes. Finn hits the far ropes and comes bouncing back, and Finn connects with a Slingblade!
Adams: Fenian Rising!
Finn with the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING!
Justin: Here is your winner! FINN! WHELAN!!!
Drew raises the arm of the double champion while the crowd responds with a mixed reaction!
The scene opens backstage where we see Harper Mason watching the action backstage on a monitor.
Harper: Welp, I'm out of my first Blast from the Past Tournament! Can't even say that I didn't take the pin either.
Harper lets out a frustrated sigh.
Harper: So, what'll I do now? There's only two more Climax Controls before Into the Void! Guess I'll have to wait and hope that I'm in action next week!
Harper shakes her head as the scene fades.
The cameras pan around the arena catching the fans anticipation as "Clouds" by NF hits, and the Roulette Champion Eddie Lyons appears onstage to an ovation from the crowd, as he make his way down the ramp and into the ring, where he's given a microphone and begins to speak as the crowd settles down
Eddie Lyons: How we doing tonight Normandy? Are we having a good time?
The crowd cheers in response to Eddie.
Eddie Lyons: Good good. Now I'm sure some people out there might expect me to come out here and put down Serena Riot for losing out Blast form the past match, but that's not what I'm here to do. It was a team effort, and the blame lies of both of us. There's always next year. What does remain right now though, is I am STILL the SCW Roulette Champion!
The crowd cheers again for the SCW Roulette Champion
Eddie Lyons: Thats right, and that means now I get to focus on being the best champion I can be, and defending my championship. I promised to be a champion of the people, and that's still what I intend to be. I don't know who my next challenger will be, but I'm ready for anyone. Blast from the past may not have worked out, but I won't let this championship go anywhere.
Eddie paces around the ring, as the crowd reacts.
Eddie Lyons: So whomever is sent to step into the lions den next, will be met with the most fierce lion of them all. One that will stop at nothing to rip you limb from limb in order to keep his championship. I am not the same Eddie Lyons that debuted here a little under a year ago. I still have my core values of honor and respect of course. Now I just understand how to still be vicious, while retaining ones honor. I've grown as a wrestler, and I continue to grow. So whomever I end up facing, give me all you got, because I'm going to give you all I have, and then some.
The crowd cheers some more, and gives him a short Eddie chant.
Eddie Lyons: I could do the thing, and call out some names I'd like to defend against, as Peter Vaughn did for me. But you know what? Since winning this championship, I sort of like the randomness of it. So why not attribute that to my defenses as well? Let management throw whomever they see fit at me. Sort of goes in hand with the random nature of this championship right?
The crowd cheers.
Eddie Lyons: So whoever you are, I'll see you at Into The Void. Until then, just…..be prepared.
"Clouds" plays again, and Eddie makes his exit to a supportive crowd.
ROULETTE CHAMPIONSHIP
"Unbreakable" Eddie Lyons vs Aiden Reynolds
Simone: It's Main Event Time folks and this match could be a game changer for at least one division! Bobbie Dahl and Peter Vaughn entered the Blast from the Past Tournament as champions but we all know the anger of that! Now both the Internet and Roulette Championships are on the line as Alexander Raven and Alexandra Callaway challenge for both the SCW Internet AND SCW Bombshell Roulette Titles! If Peter and Bobbie lose only the person who took the pin will lose their title!
Adams: Raven and Callaway are out to prove that their first round elimination in last year's tournament was a fluke and so far? They've done just that, earning their way into the Quarter Finals! But Bobbie and Peter are champions for a reason, can they win? And if so, who will walk out the champion?
Simone: One way to find out! Let's take it to Justin!
Justin: Ladies and Gentlemen this is the Main Event of the evening scheduled for one fall and it is a Blast from the Past Quarter Final Match where both the SCW Internet Championship and the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship is on the line! If the champions lose, the champion who was pinned will lose their title!
The lights go down and "Mine" by Halestorm starts to play. The arena is filled with Red and lights and fog. The Silhouette of Alexandra can be seen at the top of the ramp. She poses on the top of the ramp and as the beat drops, she starts to make her way down the ramp, towards the ring. Stopping halfway down the ramp, she stops looking out over the crowd, before continuing on. She smirks seeing some of the signs people made a cocky smirk crosses her face.
Justin: Introducing the challengers, first from DALLAS, TX.. ALEXANDRA CALAWAY!!!!!
Finishing her walk down the ramp, she climbs onto the ring apron and up onto the turnbuckle. She slips into the ring and poses on the ropes, leaning forward on the ropes, sometimes talking shit with people in front row. She watches up the ramp, messing with her hair as she waits for her opponent.
Simone: Let's not forget that it was Alexandra who was dethroned by Bobbie in the first place, she's challenged for both of the other titles since then but can she get the title back tonight? Will the reign come full circle?
Adams: One way to find out!
Justin: And her partner!
The lights begin to dim as the opening melody of "Watch The World Burn" plays through the speakers. Alexander Raven slowly steps out onto the stage, metal pipe in one hand. He comes to a stop at the centre of the top of the ramp and looks over the crowd. A cacophony of boos raining down on him. A smile spreading across his face, as he taps the pipe against his temple lightly.
Justin: From Melbourne, Australia, weighing 225ibs, ALEXANDER RAVEN!
As the song kicks into gear, he slowly begins to walk down the ramp. A slow, measured stride taking his time. As he walks down he swings the pipe towards the outstretched hands of the fans at ringside. Threatening to take their heads off if they get too close. As he gets to the step he stops and bounces from side to side. Further boos and disdain from the raucous crowd.
Simone: Raven is a former Roulette and Internet Champion and has had some impressive wins but will he cut Vaughn's reign short?
Adams: It has been a while since we had a two time champion, but the same can be said for the Bombshell Champions!
He slams the pipe down several times on the steps, before throwing it down right next to them, climbing the steps rapidly. Walking the length of the apron to his right, he wipes his feet aggressively on the apron, before stepping between the top and middle ropes. The crowd roaring their displeasure as he runs to the opposite ropes, throwing his arms out wide to his sides bathing in the vitriol. He checks the buttons at his wrists on his shirt and begins to slowly pace the rampside of the ring.
Justin: And their opponents!
The open beats to "Happy" by Pharrell Williams starts to play. The line 'Clap along if you know that happiness is the truth' appears on the screen and the fans start to clap along to the music. They clap alone for a few moments, waiting for who they know is about to walk through the curtain.
Justin: First, from Coal City, Illinois, she is the reigning and defending Bombshell Roulette Champion BOBBIE DAHL!
After the music plays for some time, Bobbie Dahl bursts through the curtains, clapping along with the music and the fans, with the Bombshell Roulette title draped over her shoulder. She is joined by Artie at her side as they both smile and get amped up along with the fans.
Simone: Bobbie has been a dominant champion but there's every chance that the reign could come full circle!
Adams: It's that dominance that gives the reason why Bobbie and Peter are one of the favourites to win!
Bobbie and Artie then start making their way to the ring, high fiving fans along the way. Once to the ring, Artie walks up the steps first, and sits on the second rope, holding it open for his lady. She steps through the ropes then holds the Bombshell Roulette Championship up high, getting the fans to cheer louder for her as she stands in the middle of the ring. Artie exits the ring a few moments later, taking his place on the outside to support his wife.
Justin: And her partner!
The lights in the arena go out, causing the usual hysteria from the crowd. After a few seconds, Peter Vaughn's face appears on the big tron, darkly smirking down at the fans.
"This Time... It's Different."
Justin: From Dallas, Texas, weighing 185ibs he is the reigning and defending SCW Internet Champion, THE MECHANIC PETER VAUGHN!
After Vaughn finishes speaking, he begins to laugh. His laughter carries on as the Tron video overtakes his image, beginning with "This Time It's Different" by Evans Blue. Vaughn comes out from the back, smiling at the reaction he's getting. He stops on the ramp, surveying the hatred from the crowd. From Vaughn's reaction, you'd think they were chanting his name, as he walks down the aisle with a cocky smile.
Simone: Like Raven, Vaughn is a former Internet and Roulette Champion, difference is? He had one of the most dominant reigns ever with the Roulette Title and seems set to repeat history with the Internet Title.
Adams: He's got some tough competition staring him…………..
Jason never gets to finish his sentence as Raven dives over the ropes and wipes out Vaughn with a suicide dive before raining down punches, Jasmie goes to declare the women the legal persons in the match but Alexandra got the jump on Bobbie and the two women brawl before Alexandra takes them both to the outside with a clothesline over the ropes! Jasmine is left with no choice but to wait for someone to return to the ring.
Simone: And things are off to a chaotic start in tonight's main event!
Adams: And Jasmine's not calling for the bell until two participants, superstar or Bombshell return to the ring, I don't even think the participants have realized that yet!
Raven, however, does and he takes advantage of it by grabbing a steel chair from under the ring and folding it over Peter's head busting him open! Jasmine yells at him for this but Raven points out that she hasn't rung the bell yet and she reluctantly concedes that he has a point, Raven then throws Peter into the ring, poses with the Internet title, follows him in and as soon as the bell rings goes for a pin!
DING DING DING!
ONE!
TWO!
And Peter kicks out! Raven can hardly believe it as he stares at Jasmine in shock but Jasmine assures him that he the pin fall was legit! Meanwhile on the outside of the ring Bobbie has gained control of the Brawl and has seated Callaway against the ring steps before hitting the former Roulette Champion with a Cannonball! She's admiring her handiwork when Jasmine tells her that the match has started and upon seeing the state Vaughn's in she makes a beeline for her team's corner and immediately starts calling for a tag.
Simone: Say what you will about Raven's tactics but he was right, that chair attack happened before the bell rang!
Adams: And before Vaughn got his bell rang by the chairshot! To say nothing of Bobbie squashing Alexandra against the ring steps!
Raven obviously has no intentions of letting Peter tag in Bobbie as he wants the Internet Title back! Instead he locks in a Crossface, getting Peter's blood all over his hands as Alexandra, having just regained her bearings and is cheering on her partner as she watches on from the ring apron, Peter refuses to tap out though as he counters the Crossface with a roll up!
ONE!
TWO!
And Raven kicks out releasing the hold in the process, both men get to their feet and Raven notices the blood all over his hands, smirks and licks his hands clean!
Simone: You know I thought I had seen it all as a wrestling commentator but a wrestler licking the blood of his opponent clean off his hands? That's a new one!
Adams: And one I'd rather not see ever again but if Raven's goals were mind games, it worked on Vaughn, Bobbie, AND Callaway!
Raven doesn't swallow the blood though as he instead spits it back at Vaughn but even so, both his opponents and his partner have the same "the fuck's wrong with this guy?!" look on their faces but Vaughn is the first to recover firing off forearm shots to Raven's face that back his challenger into the ring ropes before he pulls him back and goes for The Keyhole, Raven counters that with a roaring elbow as soon as he's spun around, spinning Vaughn around and allowing Raven to set him up for the Raven's Spine but Vaughn slips out of that and hits Raven with a release German Suplex.
Simone: Well after……..THAT……….we're back to the action as scheduled and both men tried for their finishers.
Adams: And both finishers were countered telling me that Raven and Vaughn have done their homework on each other, wonder if the same goes for Bobbie and Callaway?
Vaughn drags Raven away from the ropes and goes for the pin!
ONE!
TWO!
And Raven kicks out, Vaughn heads to the top rope and calls for his other finisher The Plunge but the blood loss has clearly gotten to him as he's slow to climb up to the top, this gives Raven ample time to recover and he springboards up to the top rope and fires off some shots running off pure adrenaline, Raven then grabs both of Vaughn's heads into a Hammerlock before DDTing him, first onto the top turnbuckle and THEN OFF THE TOP ROPE!
Simone: KINGSLAYER OFF THE TOP ROPE BY RAVEN!
Adams: But he's in no shape to cover Vaughn after that, he needs to tag in Callaway now!
Crowd: Putain de merde! Purtain de merde! Purtain de Merde!
Simone: Err, what are they saying?
Adams: Well according to Google Translate? Holy shit!
Callaway and Bobbie are clamouring for the tag but Raven shakes his head and goes for the pin!
ONE!
Simone: Raven's intentions couldn't be clearer here!
TWO!
Adams: This could be his last chance to win the title!
THRE…….NO!
VAUGHN KICKS OUT WITH BARELY SECONDS TO SPARE! Raven looks shocked but agrees to tag in Callaway and Vaughn does likewise with Bobbie, gladly leaving the ring and letting the girls go at it as they trade blows in the middle of the ring and their male partners watch on from the ring apron, Bobbie gets the upper hand and delivers some stiff body shots that back Callaway up to the ring ropes where she whips her off but Alexandra ducks the lariat on the rebound and lays out Bobbie' with the slingblade!
Simone: And now the women have taken over the match!
Adams: Bobbie had the advantage at first but Callaway came back with that Slingblade!
Alexandra quickly goes for a pin!
ONE!
TWO!
And Bobbie kicks out before retreating to the outside, Alexandra follows her out of the ring and starts removing the covering for the announcer's table, then grabs Bobbie's head and rams it against the table two times before it gets blocked on the third attempt, Bobbie then returns the favour before laying Callaway across the announcer's desk and returning to the ring AND HEADING TO THE TOP ROPE!
Simone: Err, what is Bobbie doing?!
Adams: I can't watch!
BOBBIE LEAPS OFF THE TOP ROPE AND FROG SPLASHES ALEXANDRA THROUGH THE ANNOUNCER'S TABLE! The crowd are going wild for the display and are thankful to Jasmine for showing a little lee way with the rules but she does go the outside to check on both women, once she confirms that they are relatively okay Jasmine returns to the ring and starts her ten count as the men watch on!
Adams: Well, it's not like we needed this desk after this match anyway!
Simone: True but what state are Bobbie and Alexandra in?! I can see the two women right in front of me and they are not in good shape!
Both Bobbie and Alexandra barely make it to the ring in time to avoid a double count-out as Alexandra is rolled into the ring by Bobbie at nine and Bobbie herself just BARELY beats the ten count! Bobbie then goes for a pin!
ONE!
TWO!
THRE……..NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ALEXANDRA JUST BARELY GETS THE SHOULDER UP! Bobbie is in shock over the outcome of that but isn't deterred as she gets back to her feet slowly while dragging up Alexandra, Bobbie whips Alexandra into a corner and goes for a Body Slash but Alexandra ducks out of the way in time and counters with an Air Raid Crash1 Though neither she nor Bobbie are in a spot where they can capitalize on that!
Simone: That splash through our announcer's table has clearly taken its toll on both women!
Adams: And I think that Cannonball against the ringsteps from earlier is having an effect on Alexandra as well!
Jasmine's count reaches seven before Alexandra stirs and goes for a pin on Bobbie!
ONE!
TWO!
AND BOBBIE KICKS OUT! Whilst that is going on Raven has grabbed the chair that he used on Vaughn before the match and is lying in wait by the ring ropes on one corner of the ring, his plan has one flaw in it though as he chose the side of the ring closest to the champions' corner and Peter quickly puts any plans he had to rest by hitting Raven with a dive off the top rope! Wiping him out and allowing Peter to get rid of the chair!
Simone: What exactly was Raven planning to do anyway?! If he had attacked Bobbie he and Alexandra would've been disqualified and Bobbie and Peter would've advances to the semis!
Adams: To say nothing of the numerous fines that attack would've earned him!
Callaway shakes her head before she goes to pick up Bobbie but gets planted with a Spinebuster! Bobbie goes for the pin!
ONE!
TWO!
And Alexandra kicks out! Bobbie calls for her finisher!
Simone: Bobbie is going for the Bobbie Bomb!
Adams: Will the champs move onto the finals?!
Bobbie is slow to climb up though as she is feeling the effects of the match allowing Callaway to recover and stop her ascent with some blows to the back before getting her in a Powerbomb position!
Simone: No way! Is Alexandra trying for the Apocalypse?!
Adams: On someone's Bobbie's size?! Weirder things have happened and she did grab Bobbie from the Top Rope!
Alexander gets Bobbie to the middle of the ring BEFORE PLANTING BOBBIE WITH THE APOCALYPSE! Peter sees this happening and tries to stop the pin but Raven grabs him as Alexandra covers!
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING DING DING!
Justin: HERE ARE YOUR WINNERS, ALEXANDER RAVEN AND THE NEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWW SCW BOMBSHELL ROULETTE CHAMPION ALEXNDRA CALLAWAY!
Simone: ALEXANDRA DID IT! SHE IS A TWO TIME BOMBSHELL ROULETTE CHAMPION!
Adams: What a war! And now the title scene has changed heading into the semi-finals!
Simone: What a way to end the show! Join us next week with more hard hitting action!
Callaway joins Raven on the ramp, newly won title in hand, as Vaughn checks on Bobbie with Jasmine!
THANK YOU! to everyone who wrote for this show!
