Jessie beat Tiami in a Hardcore Rules Bra and Panties match and is now the Number 1 Contender for the Bombshell Roulette Championship, however first she had to face the recent debutee Roxi Johnson who fancied herself as a Superhero, can Jessie make it two wins in a row?

“A Hardcore Rules Bra and Panties match…..” Katie said as she messaged her forehead impatiently, we had just gotten back from the hospital since I had to go there following my match and to get my ribs x-rayed, fortunately the damage wasn’t too serious and I was able to be released today. “I thought you signed with Sin City Wrestling to get away from matches like the ones WWE book.”
“Katie, WWE hasn’t done a Bra and Panties match in years.” I answered with an annoyed grunt. “And I explained before that the competitors in Roulette Rules matches don’t find out the stipulations until match time.”
“She’s right there Katie.” Jake nodded in agreement as he folded his arms. “But still, did you really feel the need to do the Wall of Death onto that trashcan and Tiami?!” Jake asked and I groaned in response.
“I needed to make sure that she stayed down long enough for me to take her top off…..” I responded before pausing. “I should’ve worded that better…..” I said before sighing. “How about we change the subject, what the hell was up with Casey Chokeslamming Aleksei during the Main Event?”
“Tell me about it, I was expecting Matthew to be the one to turn on NXT not Casey!” Jake nodded in agreement as he frowned. “Not only that, I risked my life to save Laura from Jason Burnside and this is how he repays me?!”
“Look, Casey will explain his actions at Climax Control this week so how about we withhold judgment until then?” Katie asked and we both nodded in agreement.
“Wait, how do you know that?” I asked and Katie blinked before realizing that I hadn’t seen the card yet.
“It says so on the next Climax Control card, also you’re facing Roxi Johnson this week.” Jake answered and I grinned at that prospect.
“Who’s Roxi Johnson?” Katie asked and I shook my head.
“Right, I forgot that you stopped watching Climax Control and the PPVS after that match between Misty and Roxanne.” I said as I thought back to that glorified bloodbath. “She debuted at New Year’s Rising in the opener beating Angel Kash, she apparently fancies herself as a Superhero.” I answered and Katie looked at me like I had grown another head. “Do I look like someone who could make that up?”
“She’s telling the truth, she beat Angel with a Springboard Shining Wizard she calls The Ray of Hope so I think it’s pretty clear that she and Jessie wrestle a similar style.” Jake said as Katie turned to him. “She should prove to be a good match for Jessie and a good warm-up for the Super J Cup.”
“Oh shit! I almost forgot!” I said as I face-palmed. “Casey was supposed to train me for that tournament but I think it’s safe to say that that won’t be happening now.”
“Relax, Casey may be gone but it’s not like NXT’s short on members.” Katie reassured me and I grinned at that. “Not to mention wrestlers close to your weight who actually wrestle your style.”
“Yeah, I didn’t think of that when I asked him.” I said sheepishly before getting a notification of a Skype chat. “Probably my parents, they’ve probably just seen my last match.” I responded before turning to the laptop and putting on my headphones. “Hello?” I said into the mic as I waited for a response; however it was Craig and Johnny that had answered.
“Hey sis, congrats on the big win!” Craig congratulated me and I grinned at that. “All though you did nearly give dad a heart attack with that spot.”
“Yeah, I thought it might.” I said with a sheepish grin. “So what’s new on your end?”
“Mom and dad are doing fine, they’d be chatting as well but dad had to visit the hospital, nothing Heart Attack related but it’s just for a check-up, we’ll call you if there are any developments.” Johnny answered before grinning. “Oh yeah, I now have a girlfriend!”
“Wait, really? That’s great!” I said with a grin which Johnny returned. “What’s her name?”
“Her name’s Sophie, I met her at a local concert.” Johnny answered with a grin. “She’s hot and she’s a metalhead, you should get along with her.”
“Sounds like it.” I responded with a grin. “What about you Craig?”
“I’ve started training to become a wrestler.” Craig answered and I blinked in surprise.
“Are you sure? You know how tough that stuff is from my own personal experience.” I pointed out and Craig nodded.
“Yeah well, I’ve always been a Sports Nut and I did play football in High School so I have that athletic background that helps me in department.” Craig answered and I frowned.
“Yeah, until you had to give it up due to a knee injury.” I pointed out but I shook my head. “But if you’re serious about this I won’t stop you, by the way who is training you?”
“I’ll be traveling up to Missouri next week to train with Harley Race at his school, WWE’s place here in Florida was tempting but I want to establish myself on the independent circuit first.” Craig explained and I nodded in understanding.
“I knew a few girls who were trained by him at one of my old feds, he’s a good choice.” I answered before grinning. “As for me, well, you know about my win last night and I’m assuming you’ve heard that I’m competing in ACW’S Super J Cup?”
“Yeah, we heard about that, good luck in that.” Johnny said with a nod. “We’ll definitely be routing for you in that tournament.”
“Thanks, I know I’ve got a tough fight ahead of me in it.” I answered with a grin. “Well I’d love to continue to chat but I have a promo to do for my match against Roxy.”
“Sure, chat to you soon!” Craig answered before they hung up and the conversation ended, I removed the headset and looked around realizing that Jake and Katie had left, presumably to get breakfast.
“I’ll tell them when they get back.” I decided before turning to the camera. “New Year’s Rising was a night full of surprises but the most important one, as far as I’m concerned anyway, was me beating Tiami to become the Number 1 Contender for the SCW Bombshell Roulette Championship currently being held by Alexis Morrison, but first I have my match against Roxi Johnson this week to worry about.”
I said with a grin.
“Roxi, I watched your match last night against Angel Kash whilst I was preparing for my match against Tiami Tyler and I have to say, you impressed me and I’m definitely looking forward to this match! We both wrestle a similar style, we both have a lot to prove to the higher ups and I’m sure we can put on a great match, will that stop me from beating you? Hell no!”
I said as I leaned forward.
“I heard that you fancy yourself as a Superhero and whilst I do like reading Comic Books, especially the good ones, that doesn’t exactly make me a superhero, does it? That’d be like me saying that I’m a block of metal because I’m a metalhead, you get what I mean? Good, as for the match I have a big Championship Match coming up in a few weeks and I can’t afford a loss at this point.”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“Roxi, I look forward to the match and facing you in the ring but I won’t lose this one, in fact I can’t lose this match because otherwise Mark might use this as an excuse to give my Number 1 Contender spot to you and that’s not something I can let happen, this is SCW’s Heavy Metal Bombshell Jessie Salco signing off, Roxi, I’ll see you in the ring!”
I turned to the laptop before thinking of something.
“Huh, maybe I should give getting a boyfriend a shot since Johnny now has a girlfriend.” I muttered under my breath as the scene fades.
