The Announcement
LJ’s Place
Las Vegas, Nevada

The setting sun filters through the windows, painting LJ's apartment with a warm, amber glow. LJ and Alexandra are curled up on the couch together, enjoying a rare, peaceful evening. Her head is resting on his chest, and he's gently running his fingers through her hair. The comfort of being together feels easy, natural.

"You remember that night Carter got hurt?"

Alexandra's eyes flick up to meet his, her expression softening as the memory of that tough night comes flooding back. She nods.

"Yeah… I’ll never forget it. Everything about that night felt so intense. I was freaked out, but I knew that he was in good hands, there was nothing that we could have done further. Miles knew we were there for him."

LJ's arms tighten around her slightly, his face serious as he thinks back to how shaken everyone had been. Carter, LJ’s brother-in-law, had taken a terrifying hit in the ring, and the aftermath had left everyone—especially Miles, Carter’s husband—an emotional wreck.

"I swear, I thought Miles was gonna fall apart right there. He couldn't even think straight. You were the one who kept us all grounded that night."

Alexandra shifts in his arms, recalling how she had stepped up in the midst of the chaos. Her natural instinct to take charge had kicked in, and she’d been the one to keep Miles calm, make sure Carter got the care he needed, and hold things together for everyone else.

"Miles was a mess. I had to do something, you know? I couldn’t just stand there while he was losing it. Carter needed help, and Miles needed to hold it together. So… I stayed strong for him and for you."

LJ nods, remembering how Alexandra had taken the lead that night without hesitation. She had been a rock for everyone when the fear and uncertainty had threatened to swallow them whole.

"You were incredible that night. I don’t know what we would’ve done without you. I was trying to be there for Miles too, but you… you kept everything from completely falling apart."

Alexandra smiles faintly, grateful for his words but still humble about her role.

"I just did what needed to be done. When you care about people, you do whatever you can. That's what you should do for your friends. For the people you care about."

The memory lingers between them, a shared understanding of how much that night had meant, not only for Carter and Miles but for their own relationship. That was when Alexandra had started crashing at LJ's hotel afterward, exhausted and needing to feel something steady after all the emotion of the night.

"I remember getting to the hotel after it all... You told me I didn’t have to go home, and I was too drained to argue. The second I laid down next to you, everything felt… better. Calmer."

LJ smiles, kissing the top of her head as he strokes her arm.

"Yeah, I could tell you needed that, Angel. I needed it too. To be close to someone. Just having you there made everything less heavy. Then we watched silly movies and fell asleep together after eating great fucking food.”

She giggled listening to him.

“We had a really great night didn’t we? Despite it all.”

He held her close and the two looked at each other for a few moments.

“Of course we did Angel.”

Just as Alexandra starts to speak, her phone beeps from the coffee table, interrupting the peaceful silence. She reaches for it, her brows furrowing slightly as she reads the notification. After a moment, she tilts the screen toward LJ, a small smile tugging at her lips.

"Got my next booking."

LJ looks surprised, like he just couldn't wait to see who it was.

"Oh yeah? Who’s the target this time Angel?"

Alexandra looks back at her phone and then meets LJ’s eyes, her smile widening just a little.

"Seleana. Looks like I’m facing her next. For the fourth time."

LJ’s eyebrows lift in surprise, and he lets out a low whistle.

"Seleana? Again? That’s gonna be something. She might think she’s prepared this time, but we both know what you can do. You’ve beaten her every time so far."

Alexandra leans back into LJ’s arms, already thinking about the upcoming match. Seleana was always a tough opponent—skilled, experienced, and with a heart that never quit. But Alexandra had beaten her three times already, and she knew she couldn’t afford to get complacent.

"Yeah, she’s got that resilience. She’s been through a lot, and it’s made her strong in ways most people aren’t. She’s not easy to crack, even if I’ve done it before."

LJ nods, his expression thoughtful as he considers Alexandra’s words.

"She’s been in the game a long time, no doubt about that. So have you though. But unlike her, you’ve got something that sets you apart—your intensity. You go full throttle from the start, and that can throw someone like Seleana off balance."

Alexandra smirks, nodding in agreement. Seleana’s biggest strength was her heart, her ability to endure no matter what. But Alexandra had something different—a relentless drive and aggression that made her dangerous in the ring.

"True. Seleana’s a fighter, but I’m not planning on giving her a chance to catch her breath. If I can keep up the pressure and keep her on the defensive, she won’t have time to find her rhythm."

"Exactly. Don’t give her any room to breathe. You’re the type that makes people react to you, not the other way around. If you control the pace, Seleana won’t stand a chance."

Alexandra leans in closer to LJ, feeling her confidence grow as they talk strategy. Seleana was a worthy opponent, no doubt, but Alexandra was laser-focused, ready for the challenge ahead.

"That’s the plan. I’ll hit her hard and fast, keeping her off balance. If she’s always trying to catch up, she won’t have the time to pull off any of her sneaky moves."

LJ grins, clearly impressed with how quickly Alexandra’s locked into her strategy.

"And don’t let her experience psych you out. Yeah, she’s been around the block, but you’ve got something she doesn’t—you’re unpredictable and you've got your own experience. She’ll expect one thing, and you’ll hit her with something completely different."

Alexandra’s eyes gleam with determination. That unpredictability had always been her edge, and she knew it would play to her advantage again. Seleana might think she knew what to expect, but Alexandra wasn’t going to give her the same match she’d won before.

"I’ll keep her guessing, then. Throw her off her game early, and once I’ve got her reeling, it’s over."

LJ’s smile grows wider, clearly proud of how focused she is.

"That’s my girl. You’ve got this, love. Seleana’s tough, but you’re tougher. When you set your mind to something, we both know how it’s gonna end."

Alexandra grins, leaning up to kiss him softly. The affection between them is undeniable, but underneath it, her competitive spirit burns brightly. She’s ready for this fight, and LJ’s confidence in her only fuels her more.

"Thanks for always having my back, love."

"Always, Angel. You’re gonna kill it out there. Seleana doesn’t stand a chance."

With a final kiss, Alexandra settles back into his arms, her mind already turning over her game plan for the match. Seleana might be a challenge, but Alexandra was more than ready to meet it head-on—and win, for the fourth time.

Here we go again.

The camera comes up on Alexandra, leaning against a rock, her focus as solid as the stone beneath her. She takes a deep breath, her voice calm but brimming with a dangerous intensity. "Seleana..." Alexandra's words flow with a slow, venomous strike, her eyes gleaming with a fire that has burned through countless before her. She steps forward deliberately, every move precise. "Here we are again, standing on the edge of a battlefield that’s become far too familiar. You and I? We’ve been here before—many times. But this time, Selena… I’m not here to just remind you of our past—I’m here to end your shot at the title picture."

Her words hang in the air, suffocating, heavy with the weight of inevitability. She takes a step closer, her presence overwhelming. "You think you’re ready to face me again? You’ve scratched, you’ve clawed, but nothing you’ve done has ever been enough. And you know it. I am the wall you will never break. I’ve fought wars that would’ve broken others, and yet here I stand, stronger than ever." Her hand curls into a fist, a symbol of her unyielding power. "This is my time, Seleana. When I win tonight, I get what I deserve—another shot at 'Dreamkiller' Kayla Richards. And when I take you down, nothing will stop me from going on to claim the Bombshell World Championship."

Her voice lowers, primal and cutting. "You think this time will be different? That you’ve evolved?" She leans closer to the camera, voice a whisper. "I’m not just surviving—I’m dominating. And if I win tonight, Kayla will be next. The Bombshell World Championship is within my reach, and after High Stakes XIII, I will stand tall as the new champion. So, prepare for war, Seleana, because this isn’t just about you and me. This is the path to the ultimate prize, and you’re simply another casualty on my way to the top."

The weight of her words hung in the air, suffocating, almost tangible. She took a step closer, her presence overwhelming, as if she could crush the world under the force of her will. “You think you’re ready to face me again? You think this time will be different? You’ve scratched, you’ve clawed, you’ve thrown everything at me before—but nothing you’ve done has ever been enough to stop me. And deep down, Seleana, you know it. You’ve always known it. I’m not just another opponent standing in your way. I am the wall you will never break, the force you will never overcome.”

Her gaze narrowed, the coldness in her eyes sharpening as she held up her hand, fingers curling into a fist, a symbol of her unyielding power. “Do you see this? This is the will that has forged me in fire, that has carried me through battles that would have broken anyone else. You’ve seen the wars I’ve fought. You’ve seen the blood I’ve spilled. And yet, here I stand—stronger, sharper, deadlier than ever before. Nothing standing in my way.” She took a deep breath. “Those I’ve chosen to put in my life, have left an unerasable mark on this company. And now it’s my turn to make sure that the future of Sin City Wrestling has the name Alexandra Calaway as more than just a footnote.”

She paced like a predator, voice lowering into something almost primal, each syllable slicing through the tension. “You think you’ve evolved? You think you’re finally ready to take me down? Let me make something clear—you’ve done nothing but tread water while I’ve been drowning in fire, rising from the ashes of every challenge this division has thrown at me. You’ve stayed the same, stuck in your comfort zone, while I’ve transformed into something far beyond your reach. I don’t just survive in that ring anymore, Seleana. I dominate. I devour.”

Alexandra’s hand lifted to the camera, fingers brushing against the lens as if to pull the audience into her world. “You want this fight, Seleana? You want to step into my world again, hoping—praying—that somehow, some way, things will be different? Let me tell you how this story ends.” Her smirk grew, dark and deadly, a glint of cruelty sparking in her eyes. “You’ll walk into that ring full of hope, full of fire, and you’ll throw everything you have at me. But hope is a fragile thing, Selena. And there is no wheel to spin this time, the stipulation is set. HARDCORE RULES, something I excel at. Something I’ve spent my career doing. Soon you’ll realize—this isn’t just a match. This is a war zone. And in my world, I’m not just the best. I’m untouchable.”

Her voice dropped to a whisper, yet somehow, it was more terrifying in its quiet fury. “You think you’re ready to bleed for this? You think you’re ready to suffer? I’ve bled. I’ve broken bones. I’ve endured pain that would make you crumble. And I’ve done it willingly, for the chance to hold that gold, to carve my legacy into the very soul of this business. What are you willing to give, Seleana? Are you ready to be dragged to the deepest, darkest places of your own mind? Because I will take you there. I will tear you apart piece by piece until there’s nothing left but regret. Regret that you ever thought you could step into my ring and take what I’ve bled for.”

Her intensity rose, voice swelling with the force of an unstoppable storm. “You don’t just face Alexandra Calaway when you step into that ring. You face everything I am. Every sacrifice, every setback, every scar that has built me into the machine standing before you. You’re not ready for that, Seleana. You’ve never been ready. And when that bell rings, when I pull you into a world of steel, tables, fire—whatever fate the Hardcore Gods decide—you’ll come face to face with the truth. You don’t have what it takes.”

She lifted her chin, eyes blazing with a terrifying certainty, the calm before a violent tempest. “You’ve pushed me before, Seleana. But this time? I’ll drag you deeper than you’ve ever been. You won’t just lose—you’ll break. I’ll take that hope, that fire, and I’ll crush it under my boot, just like I’ve done to every single person who thought they could take me down. Because you see, Seleana, this isn’t just about winning. This is about reminding you, reminding everyone, that I am the unstoppable force in this division.”

With a slow, deliberate motion, Alexandra leaned in closer, her final words as sharp as daggers. “This is the end of your story, Seleana. Not just another chapter—a final, brutal conclusion. When that bell rings, and you’re lying on the mat, broken, shattered, wondering how it all slipped away again, you’ll realize it was never about how much heart you had. It was about facing something far beyond what you could ever be. And that, Seleana, is me.”

She straightened, lifting her chin with a regal, deadly grace, eyes locked into the camera with a stare that could freeze the air around her. “Prepare for the war of your life. But know this—you won’t survive it. You’ll be left in ruins, just like everyone else who thought they could take me down. The only thing you’ll walk out with is the bitter taste of defeat. And as I stand tall once again, victorious, you’ll finally understand… I am not just a contender. I am your reckoning.”

With a final, chilling smirk, Alexandra turned, boots clicking against the floor in a sound that echoed like a death knell, each step a promise that only one of them would leave that ring unbroken.

“And history,” her voice echoed, as she turned her back, “always repeats itself.” She turns back around for a split second. “Then again, what do I know, after all, I’m just a cheeky brat.” With that she disappears from view.
