TIME:10:30 A.M.

Mikah opens her eyes and blinks a few times before frowning as everything around her seemed to lack color. She rubs her eyes, trying to see if it was in case her eyes but it didn’t seem to help anything. She shrugs her shoulders before pushing the blankets off of her and standing up, getting out of the bed she had found herself in. She frowns when she realizes she wasn’t anywhere that she recognized. The bedding was completely different from what she expected it to be.

;;MIKAH “What the hell is going on?”

It was almost as if she was on autopilot because before she realized what was going on, she was making the bed. She frowns as she tries to stop herself from making the bed but her arms and hands continued to make the bed as if she wasn’t in control of her own body.

;;MIKAH “Okay, I guess I’m making the bed….”

She finishes making the bed and before she can stop herself, she finds herself walking into the bathroom. The house didn’t even seem like she was in the same era that she was used to living in but something that she wasn’t quite sure of.

;;MIKAH “What did I get myself into?”

It was almost like an out of body experience. She watches as she starts to draw herself a bath. She then undresses out of her pajamas, which were something that she would never wear to bed. She shakes her head as she steps into the tub of hot water. And then, just as if she hadn’t gotten into the tub of water, the time leaps forward and she’s dressed in a dress that definitely wasn’t her style and her hair was pinned back in a neat bun.

;;MIKAH “Alright, I guess we can speed time up in this place…weird.”

She moves throughout the house, letting her body work on autopilot because it wasn’t like she had a choice. She then found herself in the kitchen, making breakfast for more than one person. Did she have a family in this universe? More than just Leighton and Myles? She wasn’t sure but she checks her left hand to see the ring on her finger, that was a lot more simple than what she would like.

;;MIKAH “I wonder who my husband is. . . .”

And almost on cue, her “husband” walked into the kitchen from where she wasn’t sure. But he was dressed in a suit and tie and she was surprised to see who it was.

;;MIKAH “You…that’s surprising..”

He looks at her and frowns at her.

::KR “We’ve been married for three years, I would think that that wouldn’t be surprising.”

He walks over to her and kisses the top of her head, as if it was something that he’d do on a normal basis. The look that Mikah though she had on her face wasn’t the one that she actually had on her face. The look that shone through was actually a happy, cheesy smile instead of the roll of her eyes one that she typically wore on her face.

;;MIKAH “Oh. That…seems weird.”

It was the only thing that she could say that made sense. She wasn’t even sure that it was weird but apparently in whatever reality they were in, it seemed to work.

::KR “You’re acting strange. Stranger than normal, that is.”

She hears herself laugh and shake her hand at him in a ‘oh you’ sort of fashion, even though she didn’t find the situation that funny. She blinks a few times before looking at him.

;;MIKAH “And you’re talking weird. What is wrong with you?!”

He laughs, one of those fake, robotic sort of laughs that you heard in a sitcom way back when. Mikah gives him a weird look as he laughs but again, the look that she thinks she gives him is not the one that he sees. He instead sees a smile and he just leans in and kisses her softly.

::KR “There is not anything wrong with me. Are you feeling okay? Did you wake up with a fever this morning, dear?”

She raises an eyebrow at him before shaking her head no at him.

;;MIKAH “No, what do you think I have? COVID?”

She watches as a confused look comes across his face as he looks at her before putting the back of his hand up against her forehead, checking for a fever. She pushes his hand away gently and another laugh escapes her lips.

::KR “What is this….COVID you speak of?”

She looks at him, blinking a few times before she shakes her head at him.

;;MIKAH “What are you talking about? You know what COVID is, Kristopher. We both do. What are you…Are you feeling alright?!”

She gives him a look, wondering what the hell was going on. She was confused and wasn’t quite sure what was going on.

::KR “Darling, I’m fine. I don’t know why you are acting like this and talking about something that doesn’t exist.”

She pats herself down, trying to find her cell phone but then frowns when she can’t find it. She looks at him and he looks slightly amused by her movements at the time.

;;MIKAH “Where is it?!”

She turns around, looking on the counters in the kitchen. She sighs in frustration when she can’t find the device she was looking for.

::KR “What are you looking for dear? Maybe you should go lie down, you are acting very strange….”

Mikah begins to open up the kitchen drawers and is confused as nothing in the drawers looked like something that she would have in a kitchen. She looks over at him as he watches in both confusion and amusement.

;;MIKAH “My phone, Kristopher. You know that thing that keeps us all connected to other human beings. That holds all of my social media accounts on it, my bank accounts, my SCW schedule, everything. I need my phone!”

Again, the look on his face was nothing but amusement but now had a look of worry in his eyes. He steps closer to her and feels her forehead again.

::KR “Darling, the phone is right there. On the wall, where it always is…”

He points at the wall and she looks over to see the phone on the wall. She blinks as she looks at the device that she barely recognized. It had been a long time since she had seen one of those and she walks over to it to see the curly type of cord and the rotary style on it.

;;MIKAH “You’ve got to be messing with me, Kristopher. This…these don’t even exist anymore…”

He laughs before walking over to her and hugging her, pulling her into him. She frowns when he feels his hand patting the back of her head. She pushes him away from her gently, not used to the display of affection that he was showing her. In her world, they hadn’t talked in a while or been close like this for a long time. She was pretty sure that in reality, he didn’t even realize it. Nor cared.

::KR “Darling, I think you need to lie down. You’re talking silly.”

She lets out a frustrated noise as she looks at him. She wasn’t sure how she was going to get her point across.

;;MIKAH “No, I am not! This…this isn’t real. I don’t even know what this is.”

She gestures between the two of them, the autopilot she had been in early completely gone now as she broke through whatever it was that had been holding her back.

::KR “This is our life, Mikah. I go to work at nine and come back at five. And you watch the kids and be a housewife.”

She gives him a look.

;;MIKAH “I am not[/u] a housewife. Excuse you? I am a Sin City Wrestling Bombshell. A grand slam champion. A hall of famer. And you! You don’t work some boring, repetitive nine to five job, Kristopher. You are the current Sin City Wrestling heavyweight champion.”

She wasn’t sure that explaining this was going to be making any sense to him. But she was definitely going to try to make it make sense to him. She wasn’t sure what this thing was that they were in but she wasn’t sure that it was good at all.

::KR “You’re talking nonsense, darling. I work downtown and what is this…Sin City Wrestling you speak of?”

She looks at him, blinking at him as he tries to tell her that he did indeed work downtown and that he didn’t know what SCW was. She shakes her head at him, growing tired of whatever reality they were in. She clearly liked things that made sense; this was not making sense.

;;MIKAH “It is like I don’t even know you anymore. You? Work a nine to five job? That is the funniest thing that I’ve heard in a long time. You can’t even be serious for a minute, barely even thirty seconds but you’re going to work a nine to five job? Whate are you on now?”

She looks at him, clearly breaking through whatever character she had been playing in this reality. He looks at her, blinking before smiling at her again and hugging her again.

::KR “I’m not sure what is wrong with you today, but you’re telling some pretty funny stories today, Mikah. You’re lucky I love you and don’t have you committed.”

She pushes him away from her again. She wasn’t sure where this touchy-feely type of thing he was into currently came from but she wasn’t sure that she really enjoyed it.  She wasn’t used to it, that was for sure anyways.

;;MIKAH “There is nothing wrong with me, Kristopher. I think that there is something wrong with you. You’re acting like this is normal.”

She gestured between them, talking about whatever relationship they were completely into at the moment.

::KR “What are you talking about, Mikah? This is how a husband and wife talk to one another. And show one another that they love each other.”

She looks at him, an eyebrow raised as he used those words toward her. They didn’t even make sense to her. She wasn’t sure that she had ever told him that she loved him in reality but apparently, in this reality they told each other that all the time. It was not something she really enjoyed. Maybe she was too used to dysfunction to realize what was normal and what wasn’t in relationships. Apparently, drugs, booze, and lots of sex was not normal. Odd the way things work like that.

;;MIKAH “But we…we do not love each other, Kristopher. Not in the way that you’re talking about. I am not even sure that we like one another anymore. I am not even sure you care enough to even notice the change between us. Or that I’ve purposely ignored you just to see how long it would take you to notice. Do you know that it has almost been two months since I’ve been in California?”

She couldn’t help or stop the tears that were filling her eyes as she looks at him. He goes to talk but she stops him by holding her hand up as a tear slides down her cheek.

;;MIKAH “Have you realized that I have spent so much time at Climax Controls avoiding the Black Sheep locker room? Because I wanted to see if you’d even notice, let alone care. It’s starting to sink in that maybe there isn’t anybody in this—that reality that cares. Except Court. And that’s just because she’s a bitch.”

She watches him, watching as he starts to fade out of view. She frowns before starting to wake up again as the alternate reality starts to fade out of her mind. She opens her eyes again to see the ceiling of the suite at the Cosmopolitan that she was still staying at.

;;MIKAH “How fucking weird..”

“MIKAHVISION.”
LOCATION: LAS VEGAS, NEVADA.
DAYS UNTIL THE MATCH: 2
SCENE: ii

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2021
TIME: 4:45 PM

The scene opens up to the blonde Bombshell standing in front the Titanic exhibit that’s located in the Luxor Casino and Hotel on the strip. She is sporting a pair of black faux leather leggings that meet a pair turquoise stiletto heels and her turquoise “Bring Back Simon Jones” crop top.

”The Blast from the Past tournament begins on Sunday. It’s something I really struggled with making a decision about signing up. I tried not to because we all know how I feel about the tournament and I don’t think my opinion on it has changed. Much. But I was willing to give it a shot because of curiosity. Curiosity is the biggest reason I signed up to be apart of this tournament. And I know that I should have signed up because I wanted to win the tournament to get a shot at the nutjob or whoever should be the Bombshell Champion at the end of the tournament. I know that that is the reason that everybody signs up for the tournament because that’s what’s at the end of the tunnel, the light so to speak.

And that’s what everybody in this tournament is aiming for. The guys want a shot at the World Heavyweight championship and the ladies want a shot at the Bombshell championship. It’s what they hold over us to get us to sign up and it works. I don’t know that anybody’s signed up for the tournament just because they enjoy it. I mean I know that there are some people that sign up because they think they have a chance at getting to the end of the tournament and get that shot that they will have earned. And kudos to them for that; they actually work for the shot that they want. They don’t just walk into Hot Stuff Mark Ward and Christian Underwood’s office and demand for a shot that they didn’t earn like the current nutjob champion.

And people are naturally curious human beings, they want to know the what if. I mean, essentially that’s why I signed up. I wanted to know the possibility of who my partner was going to be. I clearly wanted to be paired up with Despy or even Coby, because I know Coby as a partner in the ring and Despy is…well, Despy. He’s probably my favorite adult human being on the entire planet. Who wouldn’t want to be paired with Despy? He’s definitely the best person in the tournament. He’s definitely a better person than I am and I will defend him to anybody that asks me about him. He’s definitely way too nice to be my friend, but yet, he is.

Now I know that I shouldn’t be hyping Despy up because he’s not my partner. Instead I’m paired with a guy named Lachlan Kane, somebody I’m not even sure that I know who he is. He hasn’t reached out and I’m selfish and think that if he wanted to work well together, he would reach out to me. And why shouldn’t he? I’m a three time Bombshell champion, a grand slam champion, and a Hall of Famer. And must I mention that I’m Hot Stuff Mark Ward’s favorite bombshell? That alone should encourage him to want to work well with me. But yet, here we are going into a match together as a team with no clue on how well we will or won’t work together. And trust me, I am used to working with a difficult human being. Kristopher is not exactly the easiest person to work with but I used to do it on the daily. Can’t say that that’s the case now a days; we haven’t actually spoken face-to-face for almost two months. And I doubt he gives a shit.

But that’s neither here nor there.”

She shrugs her shoulders, acting as if she didn’t care.

”Moving on, because I don’t think ragging on my own partner is going to guarantee me any grace in this match that we’ve been booked in in the first round of this tournament. Our opponents our Lucy Seraphina and Hitamashii. Hitamashii seems to have found his place in GRIME because he’s currently the nightmare champion. And surely he knows that stepping foot into a SCW ring is going to be different. Because it is. This is a bigger pond and he’s going to have to worry about a lot more than masked men and whatever else goes on there. Or is that SCU? I really don’t care.

But Lucy and I? We’re not exactly strangers to one another. I have beaten her once and she has beaten me once before so we are definitely not strangers to each other when it comes to that ring. And she’s one hell of a competitor, I will give her that. But she has been gone longer than I have, I’m pretty sure. I might have my facts wrong, but I highly doubt it. She could have a little trouble adjusting back to the SCW groove. But then again, maybe she’s a quick adjuster and will have no problem getting back into the swing of things. And maybe that’s a good thing; I’d love to see how she fares in this match against me.

I’d say I’m pretty adjusted to tag team wrestling by now and know how things work. But that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t kill to get a shot at the Bombshell championship again. I’d love to make that nutjob take another loss to me; it’s clearly the best thing about her being champion. I love to make the point that I’m better than she is and it’s easy to prove. But that will come when and if I win this tournament.

I’d say we, but I’m not sure that my team can be considered a we. Maybe in about a week or so, I will be able to say that our team is just that, a team. But right now? Lachlan and I are walking into the match looking for two singles matches booked in one. But he better not fuck my pretty record up or he’s going to pay for it. I’m not going to be the one that loses this for us. I am on a hot streak and I’m not looking for it to end so quickly and because of somebody else’s incompetence. Because I know that Lucy and her partner are going to be working together to try to win on Sunday. And that’s definitely the whole point of the tournament, is to see how well we can work with other people. And everybody knows that I’m a difficult human being. And maybe in a different reality, I’m a better human being but that’s not what you all are getting.”

She shrugs her shoulders at the camera. But it wasn’t like anybody expected to get anybody else when it came to her; she never gave them hope of her being a different person. Why change when what she was doing worked every time? Change was only good if it was proven to work and she wasn’t sure it would. You wouldn’t change a tire if it wasn’t flat, so she wasn’t about to change up herself.

”You’re going to be getting the same Mikah you’re used to seeing. The one that you love to hate but have to love because I’m so damned good in that ring. My talent in that ring is better than what most anybody has seen and nobody can deny that I’m good at what I do. It’s like breathing for me and I enjoy proving it to people how good I am at it. And I know that Lucy is good at it too; she has a win against me to prove it. And you can bet that she’s going to be saying things about it as well. And why wouldn’t she? It is definitely an accomplishment when it comes to wrestling in SCW. There’s a reason that my name is mentioned a lot more than it isn’t and how so many people compare themselves to me. Because I am the measuring stick that most Bombshells should compare themselves to and should aspire to be. Do I have the best personality? No, maybe not but a personality isn’t what gets you wins in a wrestling ring, does it? Pure talent gets you what you need and I have that without even really trying.

And there’s also a reason that Ruby is so eager to learn from me; she knows the best when she sees the best. I’d say the same for Court but she always has a chip on her shoulder and sometimes, I understand why and other times it’s a pain in the ass to deal with all that attitude. And Lucy should know more than most that I’m going to give her a run for her money and I hope she pushes me to my best because I only like giving my best. She’s one of the few in this tournament that I could see going to the end or I did, at least until I saw the card for Sunday and realized that they’d booked her against me.

And well, just sorry about your luck because my vision for the future needs to come to full fruition. Well, I’d say sorry about your luck if I believed in luck, that is. I think you make your own luck in this world and don’t rely on it to just happen. I know that I’m one half of the Mixed Tag Team Champions but I’m looking for more, I want more. And it is just fitting that this tournament will lead me to what I think I want. No, what I know that I need. And while being a mixed Tag Team Champion is great, being the Bombshell champion is just that much greater. I love to prove how much better I am than everybody and this is just one step in the right direction. And well, Lucy, you and your partner are just stepping stones in the direction that I’m looking to go. It’s not really either of our faults that this is how the cards got played and that we would be booked against one another in the first round but hey. At least I’m not booked against Coby…yet.

She winks at the camera, a smirk playing on her pretty face.

”Sunday is just in two short days and I’m just about ready to get there to get this match over with. Because just like the Titanic, the partnership between Lucy Seraphina and Hitamashii is going to sink. And everybody will get to see that yes, I can hold a tag team together by myself. Even if it is a harder task to accomplish, I’m going to do it. Because my vision is ten times greater than anybody else’s and if I have to make other people see it, I will.

Hope the two of you are ready to face me and…

My partner, Lachlan Kane. Because you really don’t have any other choice and while you both are going to be hopeful for a win, I’m not about to just hand it over. And I don’t care if I have to be the villain and take it from you single-handedly, because I will. And because I’m just the villain everybody loves to hate. And it doesn’t bother me one bit because.”

She pushes her hair behind her ears and smirks at the camera as it zooms in closer to her. She looks int the lens of the camera, a serious look on her pretty face as she pauses again for dramatic effect.

“I’m everybody’s favorite villain.”
