"Spinning my Wheels.”
« on: August 14, 2020, 09:43:51 PM »
In recent weeks, Jessie has felt like she has been spinning her wheels in SCW, it had been years since her last title reign and she ended up being eliminated from the Ultimate X Over the Pool Match simultaneously with Maki paving the way for Seleana to ultimately retain the Bombshell Roulette Championship over Keira, worse yet Maki was blaming Jessie for losing the title leaving her without much direction in her career.

But now that the fans were being allowed back in SCW that could change as this week on the first Climax Control of August Jessie was taking on another former Bombshell Roulette Champion who she had history with, in fact she was the one who lost the Bombshell Roulette Championship to Seleana Zdunich in singles competition! The last time they faced off in singles competition, Jessie had just come back from her Covid-19 scare to pick up a win over Violet but will history repeat?

Just one day removed from it being Friday the 13th, this year can go die in a dumpster fire.

Yeah, I know, I’m hardly the only one on the planet who’s thought that, especially since Bloodstock got cancelled! Yeah, we watched the European Metal Festival Alliance last weekend and even did mini moshpits when Angelus Apartrida called for them (yes, that was actually a thing that happened) and got introduced to a lot of new bands but it wasn’t the same as Bloodstock and we were all thinking the same thing, we would rather be at Bloodstock.

So, how does this weekend stack up in comparison? Take a fucking guess!

This week on Climax Control I’m getting a one on one rematch with Violet Amelia Holt, the last time I faced Violet was when I was coming back from my COVID-19 scare that forced me to miss two dates off the short lived Homecoming tour which my COVID-19 scare helped cancel, we’re still not exactly sure where we got it due to how long ago it was but my point still remains, Violet couldn’t beat me when I was coming back from a major health crises.

How does she expect to beat me when I’ve been COVID free since then and have found out that my body now has the anti-bodies needed to fight off COVID-19?

Oh yeah, speaking of that, we were told to stay in the hotel for testing after it was announced that fans would be returning to SCW but even with that in mind, I’m happy to stay put and get tested, and if your still asking why I’m choosing to do this, I just spent the last few minutes talking about my previous health scare with COVID-19, either you weren’t paying attention or your as dumb as you look and I’m leaning towards the latter.

“So, SCW’s finally letting fans back in and your facing Violet Amelia Holt, who you faced right before the lockdown shows started.” Jake commented as he thought back to the day of my return to Climax Control, good times. “If that’s not a bookend I don’t know what is.”

“You say that like I should be worried about Violet.” I responded with a scoff as I glanced up from my phone. “But she couldn’t beat me after I came back from the health scare, how can she expect to beat me when I’m 100%?”

“Not to mention she’s frustrated from her loss to Candy at Summer XXXTreme VIII, I don’t think I need to point out that she has a lot on her mind right now.” Shane chimed in as he looked up from s recipe book and I nodded in agreement. “But at least once we get tested, we’ll be able to go out again.”

“That’s if we don’t test positive for COVID-19 again.” I pointed out and Shane went to respond but couldn’t find the words. “Not saying I want to get that shit again! That fortnight of self-isolation was the most boring fortnight of my professional wrestling career and considering I’ve been wrestling for twelve years, that’s saying something!”

“Not to mention all the health concerns that come with getting COVID-19 again.” Jake pointed out and I nodded in agreement. “But hey, maybe you’ll get a third match with Violet when you come back from the next one.”

“Hell of a way to greet me back, hey, you survived not one but two cases of the disease that’s fucking the world ten ways from Sunday, here’s a match against Violet Amelia Holt to make you feel better!” I responded sarcastically before shaking my head. “You know what? Fuck it, Jake, grab the camera, it’s promo time!”

“On it!” Jake responded before he grabbed the camera and pointed it at me at which point, I got started on my promo.

“You ever heard of de-ja-vu? Because that’s what’s happening right now! I’m facing Violet Amelia Holt in singles competition this week on Climax Control after something related to COVID-19 happened in my life, first time? I just came back from two weeks of self-isolation after me and the boys got COVID-19, this time? Fans are finally being allowed to attend SCW shows again after several months of waiting, you know what else happened during our last singles match Violet?”

Go ahead, take a guess!

“That’s right, I beat you, one two three, in the middle of the ring, and as I said my health at the time, wasn’t exactly that great! And that’s me being generous! Fast forward a few months, I haven’t had any COVID scares since the last one and I recently found out that I have the anti-bodies to fight COVID-19, what does this mean for you Violet? Let me spell it out for you, you couldn’t beat me in singles action when I was recovering from an illness, what chance do you have against a healthy Jessie Salco?”

Like I need to answer that.

“I’ve been saying this a fair bit but if your first and last match as Bombshell Roulette Champion was just between me and you, you still would’ve lost the belt! The only thing that would’ve changed is who you dropped the belt too but I played the What If scenario enough during the lead up to the Fatal Four Way, in this match, there’s no “what if Jessie won” because we all know that Violet can’t beat me in singles competition!”

It’s that simple.

“I don’t know what Maki has in mind for me based on her recent tweets but if she tries to get involved and cost me the match, I’ll be ready for her! Ready to send her packing back to the backstage area whilst I pin Violet yet again! You lost to Candy at the PPV Violet and this is one case where your fortunes won’t turn around because I am not walking out of the Gold Coast Casino the loser of this match!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

“Roses are read, Violet can’t beat me, I suck at poetry, eat me! Seriously Violet once I’m done with you, you can look forward to continuing to embarrass your family’s name whilst Dustin wonders if his wife was banging the mail man when Violet was conceived  because I can’t see any other reason why you’ve failed to live up to your family’s name! This is the Unsainted Angel Jessie Salco signing off as I get ready to bounce back from my loss at Summer XXXTreme and more importantly, I stop spinning my wheels!”

I went back on my phone as the scene fades.
