Satisfaction: the fulfilment of ones wishes or needs. Ah! What a topic, what an endless topic Evie could spend hours if not days talking about. You see, Evie has a big appetite, she is a ravenous beast that never goes without, yet she always wants more. It isn’t because she isn’t content with the service, it just she is… for a lack of a better word, greedy… oh so greedy. Whether it’s cash, cars, competitive sport, world travel or her husband, Evie would line up again and again for the thrills, for the adventures, for the satisfaction. Evie was notorious for striving for more and more, even though she has the whole world in the palm of her hands.

Even with her Sin City Wrestling World Bombshell Championship, Evie strived for more she didn’t just want to be known as a two-time champion, she wanted to be known as one of the most dominate forces in Sin City Wrestling history to ever hold the championship title. Nevertheless, since becoming the champion she hadn’t had much of an opportunity to shine, week one she was placed in a strange bedfellow’s match and found herself on the losing side of Ben Jordan and Kate Steele. It wasn’t exactly the beginning to her reign that she was after and since then, the hits have kept coming. Andrea hasn’t given Evie enough space to breathe as she continues to obsess over her lost championship reign, regardless of how you see it… if Andrea claimed to be half the woman she is, like she has been over the past few weeks she wouldn’t be without her World Bombshell Championship, now would she? Alicia who managed to lose the tag team match set up by Crystal, still however gets awarded a World Bombshell Championship match at Summer XXXTreme. So, much for fun, new and exciting challengers, as for right now it’s all looking a little same old same old.  Week two, Evie wasn’t even booked, week three Jack Washington spent his three wishes on a failed run at the World Heavyweight Championship only to end up miserable in defeat and well, week four was an empty card for Evie as well.

Week five however, was just days away and it was as if the booking Gods of Sin City Wrestling, loved to kick Evie while she was down… not only is she going to face Andrea, the same bombshell she defeated at Into the Void to win the World Bombshell Championship… the same Bombshell she would have to face again at Summer XXXTreme, if that wasn’t enough… Evie had the absolute pleasure in knowing that the wormy little grub named Alicia Lukas would be the official for the night, donning the black and white stripes. It wasn’t that Evie didn’t like Alicia, she did like her they had a strange respect for one another in this sport but what didn’t sit well with Evie is how Alicia was already banging on Twitter that she would “soon” become the new World Bombshell Champion… it was as if she was calling the Aussie transitional but refusing to use the words. Evie was clearly just a steppingstone in Alicia’s world tour of Championship reigns… still Evie took great satisfaction in knowing that this time round, when she came face to face with Alicia at Summer XXXTreme the result wouldn’t be the same.

Adapt and grow and believe me Evie will be flourishing at Summer XXXTreme.

Now let’s not get too far ahead of ourselves, let’s take it one step at a time and right now… the obstacle that was in front of Evie was a mixed tag team match, finally she was teaming up with her husband Ben Jordan and they were squaring off against Griffin and Andrea, while Alicia plays peace keeper. A preview of things to come at the next super card. Although only time would tell who would be on the right side of victory, all I know is that Evie will stop at nothing to curb her hunger of satisfaction and what would satisfy her the most this week? Wiping the canvas clean with Andrea Hernandez.

Ahhhh lockdown craziness, it seems to have taken a hold over some of the SCW, SCU and Grime superstars but yet, they were doing their best to hold onto their senses and push through with the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown. It was becoming especially hard for Evie Jordan to stay put, she was a powerful woman driven by wanderlust as one of her life goals was to visit all the seven continents and travel through as many countries as she can before old age or death stopped her in her tracks.

Since the beginning of the lockdown she had done her best to distract herself, trying to think of ways to occupy her mind and free herself from the four walls of the Saxon Hotel. It was easier said than done and there was only so much alcohol she could consume, there was only so much gym time she could fit into one day and there was only so much annoying her husband she could compress into his life before someone gave in. Lucky for her, Ben was a patient man and he knew exactly what Evie was like. He knew she would trade the bland carpet of their hotel room, for the burning hot sands of Dubai in a heartbeat, he knew she would swap out the roof top pool for a lavish retreat in Bali, hell he knew that Evie would be content to sit at home back in Maine for a couple of months if it meant she didn’t have to see the same people day in and day out, if she didn’t have to force a smile and try and fit into a world that she clearly wasn’t accepted in.

Ben knew that the lockdown was messing with her senses, he knew that Evie was a finger on a trigger type of woman who would fire off without warning but he was also smart enough to divert her tunnel vision and get Evie’s one track isolated mind back into thinking logically. It wasn’t Evie’s fault that she had itchy feet, this was the longest time she had stayed put in the one area and the cracks were starting to show. Her failed efforts of fitting in where becoming evident and the bruises of self-doubt, self-destructive sabotage where well and truly on display for the rest of the roster to pick at. Like vultures rocking up to a feast, to pick at the weathered bones. Truth be told Evie, even with her success of becoming the Sin City Wrestling World Bombshell Champion, she wasn’t feeling herself lately, but the king of smiles was ready to and waiting to fix this.

Now, would be a great time to plunge into Ben’s promotional video of the week to catch up where this one kicks off from, or otherwise you’re going to be all sorts of confused. Ben’s latest attempts to bring a smile to his wife’s face was retelling a beautiful story from one of their many overseas holidays. He had picked the Maldives to reflect over as he sat alone in the hot tub, with a cold banana and chocolate milkshake in his right hand. Evie had moved from the chair that was placed in front of the hot tub, to perched herself up on the side of the tub. Her view was of her husband as he sat their smiling like a cat as he retold his famous surfing story of how get got the big wave, even after hours of trying and failing. Evie couldn’t help by flare up, her cheeks burning red from her smile as she watched Ben’s retelling of his story bring him so much joy. Even if he did make a tool out of himself on the beach that day, she had to hand it to him he refused to give up and like the champion he was he refused to let the sport of surfing defeat him. So, he struggled, blistered, and wiped out his way until he was satisfied with an outcome, he was happy with. The outcome was standing up on the surfboard and finally riding a wave back to the shore.

“So, what was your favourite thing about our trip to the Maldives?” Ben questioned.

Ben moved from his position in the hot tub, scooting across the seat so he could sit beside his wife. He was still in the water his body being covered by the bubbles, as he placed his milkshake down on to the ledge freeing his hands to reach out and place his hand on Evie’s bare leg. Evie looked down at Ben a devilish smile on her face, as she ran her right hand through her hair, pulling it back from her face to let it cascade down her back. With her left hand she balled up her black floor length dress and placed the extra material in her lap, exposing her smooth tanned legs as she continued to gaze down upon her husband. Still taken back that in the world filled with people he had chosen her to spend the rest of his life with. Evie pondered over his question before, she licked her blood red lips, before she used them to speak.

“My favourite thing about the Maldives.” She purred as she thought. “Well… I really, really, really enjoyed that one time on the white sands, face down exposed to the world.”

She trailed off as she spoke but the scene, she was painting was evident, Ben squeezed her leg stopping her mind from taking a tour back in time.

“Eves. I’m being serious.” Ben scoffed at her.

Evie just rolled her eyes, before she brought both her hands into the middle of her lap.

“Fine.” She protested. “This was my favourite part…” Her voice trailed off.

Inside her mind, she was back in the Maldives she could smell the crisp salt air, hear the small waves rolling towards the shore underneath their over the water bungalow. The sun was beaming through the windows, as the sea breeze made an easy passage through the open doors in their villa. There he was, her husband was laid out, back pressed against the bright white sheets, his neck crooked back over the plump pillow. Ben’s mouth wide open, his eyes locked on hers as her refused to look away from her, as his body pulsed back and forth. Evie’s hands travelled up his bare chest. She couldn’t see herself, but Evie remembered his face in that moment and just as she was about to continue with her story that flashback was stole from her mind with a simple splash of water to her face.

“Evie Luna Jordan… Be serious.” Ben raised his voice.

He wasn’t mad at her, but he was trying to get his wife to take this exercise seriously and right now Evie was making a mockery of all his hard work in trying to free her mind. Evie threw her hands up in the air to plead her innocence, but she couldn’t stop that joy filled smile from bursting on her face.

“Okay, okay… This is my favourite moment in the Maldives.” Evie said defeated.

As she looked down at her husband, her lips parted and soon enough her real highlight of the Maldives was coming to life. It was 6 in the morning, and the sun had only just started to rise but Evie had managed to pull Ben out of bed for an early rise to take in the gobsmacking sunrise. However, that wasn’t the sole purpose for them being awake so, early as Evie had planned a day filled with adventure for the two of them. As the two stood hand in hand on the beach, they watched the sun peak over the horizon as the day broke, bringing the blistering heat but the beautiful array of colours from the morning sun. As pale pinks, bright yellows and puffy white colours filled the crystal blue sky Evie couldn’t think of a more perfect sunrise. It was definitely one she would never forget.

“Ready for today?” She whispered.

“Ready.” Ben forced down a yawn.

He wasn’t used to early starts and especially after a full on day of trying to learn how to surf yesterday, Evie knew his body was battered and bruised but he was doing his best at putting one foot in front of the other so they could enjoy their day together in this tropical paradise. It wasn’t long before they were led across the sandy beach towards a small wooden pier and the tour guide led them onto a traditional dhoni (boat). Evie was wearing a lively white sun dress that cut off mid-thigh with a large straw sunhat that sat on top of her head like a crown her feet were covered with a pair of golden sandals as Ben had on a pair of quick dry surf shorts, with a plain navy blue t-shirt. Ben had offered to do the heavy lifting this trip as he carried their backpack, while Evie had her large digital camera prepped and ready, as the black strap circled her neck. As they walked on board the boat, they were greeted by some of the locals, who selflessly offered up bright smiles and endless customer service. The two were presented with a light breakfast as they took their seats, and without further a due the wooden boat creaked to life and soon enough they were sailing across the pristine blue ocean.

“So, are you going to tell me what’s in store today?” Ben questioned. “Or are you going to continue to stay tight lipped.” He smiled.

Evie looked to her left, as she had snuggled up underneath his arm shielding herself from the chilly sea air before she replied.

“We are off to a small town called Thinadhoo…” Evie beamed. “You’re going to love it.” A sly smile crossed her face.

It wasn’t unlike Evie to spoil her husband with surprises and today was one of those days. The boat ride took just over an hour to jump from one island to another, but during the time Evie and Ben had a pretty decent distraction that was a beautiful blue ocean under the boat. They watched a dolphin’s speed past them, leaping out of the water to do tricks, while large manta rays swept silently under the water as fish of all shapes, sizes and colours littered the water with their beauty it was hard not to fall in love with the peaceful surrounds of the Maldives. Evie couldn’t believe the “high travel alert” that the island was branded with, but in a world where she was mainly the villain there was nothing she hadn’t seen before.

Once they docked, it didn’t take the Jordan’s long before they were whisked away to their next destination the local primary school surrounded with tall standing palm trees, the building we made of old timber and they looked as if they were about to fall over. That didn’t sit well with Evie, knowing that this small island that boasted a petite population of 240 residents, was using these limited resources to teach the next generation of Thinadhoo children. This is where  Evie had been looking forward to visiting because she had a slight interest in the way the school was run, she wanted to see how the locals committed themselves and any time she got to witness her husband being rushed by a pack of kids, was also a highlight. As Evie led Ben up towards the gates of the school, she felt him tug back on her arm splitting them up from their private tour guide for a moment.

“A school?” He questioned.

“Not just any school, my love… a school we just sponsored for the next seven years.” She smiled.

Ben was taken back as he watched Evie walk away from him, eager to see where her money was going towards but before they could get into the gates a flock of children were seen rushing towards them. Without warning and without invitation the children had flooded the Jordan’s they welcomed them with open arms and the rest of the day they spent with the local school children, reading, writing, and playing.

The flashback shifted back into real time as Evie sat on the side of the tub, looking down at Ben. Her arms now wrapped around herself as she tried to cover up her goosebumps.

“I’ll never forget the look on your face as twenty little tikes ran towards you bowling you over.” Evie gushed.

Ben looked up at his wife smiling proudly.

“I didn’t realize I was that big in the Maldives.” He chuckled.

Evie just replied with a bitter eye roll.

“They didn’t care who we were or what we did, they were just grateful that we had stopped their school from closing. You could have been the garbage man from Timbuctoo for all they cared.” Evie hit him with a reality check.

Ben frowned at Evie, bunching his eyebrows together as he looked up at her from the whirlpool tub – or so he liked to call it.

“Way to make my uplifting story about surfing seem, selfish.” He pouted. “I went for the LOLS and you went for the heart strings.” Ben sulked.

Evie glared down at Ben’s attempts to make her feel sorry for him, but he was barking up the wrong tree. She couldn’t help but smile as his frown turned upside down into a smile as she swept her legs over the side of the hot tub, resting her feet beneath the water onto the step below the bubbles.

“Oh…” Evie started back up. “Stop pouting, the wind will change, and you’ll stay like that. I can’t help it that your nickname is saint Ben… but in reality, you just love the glory of being able to stand up on a surfboard just once.” She mocked him, teasingly.

Ben just splashed more water towards her, waving her attempts off to tarnish his good-natured crown.  As he was about to speak, he was cut off but his wife’s tone as she decided to toy with him so more.

“I think my second favorite thing that happened on that trip was this…” Evie kicked back off, trailing off into a story.

They were back in the Maldives, back in their over the water bungalow. Evie was standing in the kitchen, overlooking the living room out into the crystal-clear ocean. However, she could see Ben resting his eyes as sunbaked in the net bed that hung just above the water. He was wearing only a towel across his lap, with Evie’s straw hat covering his eyes, Evie could tell he was asleep from the way her was breathing and she couldn’t help herself. She tip-toed across the wooden floorboards and sneaked across the deck, walking just a few meters away from Ben before she walked towards the ladder that led from the deck into the pristine waters. She didn’t both to remove her sundress that covered her green bikinis as she slipped silently down the ladder and entered the water. Without making a splash she swept her arms and kicked her legs under the water as she coyly made her way towards Ben who was sleeping peacefully. Without any warning she ducked her head under the water and swan silently towards him, before making her graceful yet horrible attack. Looking up from underneath the water she could see through blurred eyes that she was right below him now and in a selfish act Evie launched up towards him. Driving straight up with her hands she reached for his legs digging her nails in hard but not hard enough to mark his skin but enough to give him a jolt back to the lead of the living. Ben flew up in shock thinking he had been bitten by a fish or a shark and before he could gather his sense to see his wife below him chuckling in the water, his first reaction was to run but the more he tried to run away from the “creature of the deep” the more his legs and arms got tangled up into the rope. Evie couldn’t help but giggle to herself as Ben scrambled himself up into a pretzel in the net bed, finally coming to a stop when he noticed her smiling face.

“EVVVVVEEEES!” He screamed. “NOT FUNNY!!! I THOUGHT YOU WERE A SHARK.” Ben bellowed.

Evie continued to swim under the net bed, looking up at her husband with a wicked smile on her face as Ben tried desperately to unwind himself from the netted bed.

“That story still isn’t funny.” Ben protested.

However, the laughing face on Evie said differently as she slapped her knee, trying to stifle her laughter. Ben couldn’t help but smile seeing his wife’s face light up but he couldn’t let her get away with it either, reaching up with cat like reflexes he wrapped his arms around her waist and without warning, pulled her into the hot tub. Evie’s head popped back up from under the water, a look of horror across her face as she seethed towards Ben. Through gritted teeth, she dragged her wet hair out of her eyes and scolded him.

“Vera Wang.” She howled.

Evie was pointing at her expensive dress that had just taking a dunk inside the hot bubbly water of the hot tub, but Ben knew she was only playing from the way her cold hard look of anger turned into a bright unmistakable smile midsentence. Reaching out Ben pulled Evie into him, tucking his arms around her so now he could rest his back against the seat. Evie’s Back rested against his chest as Ben placed his chin on top of her shoulder, turning to look at her as he spoke.

“I love your smile.” He beamed with satisfaction.

Evie just rolled her forest green eyes before she nestled into him, loving the feeling of his arms around her before closing her eyes to take it all in.

“Yours isn’t too shabby, I guess.” She whispered.

And with that said and done, we leave the two alone to retell some more memories and possibly make some more.

###

The scene opened up inside the hotel room shared by Ben and Evie Jordan. Evie’s face could be seen as she sat in a large brown leather chair next to the window that overlooked the Vegas lights. The sun was setting, casting a shadow over her features as she turned away from the camera that was rolling.

“Andrea... Andrea... Andrea...” She started off in her usual style. “Here we go again it seems. You and I going toe to toe in the middle of the Sun City Wrestling Wrestling ring. Where once again you will try and prove your worth to me, but once again I will remind you where you stand when it comes to being in the ring with me. You’re always will and always going to be a blimp on my Radar you’re always going to be a second tier Bombshell and just like how I showed you and the world at Into the Void that you can stand against me, I’ll repeat the reminder this Sunday night at Climax Control.”

Evie smiles wickedly before licking her lips and continuing.

“I tried to give you the respect you deserve, I tried to give you the pay on the back your efforts at Into the Void warranted but you refused them and decided to target me. Pushing your grief on to me from the loss of your father... I at no point brought him up, I at no point dragged his name into this but since you love the play the victim you have continually came at me bringing up how I crossed the line, how I bullied you after his passing.” Evie paused. “The sad reality is, you’re trying to turn me into the big bad wolf when in reality you, yourself are your own worst enemy. Your trying to pine your grief on me, you’re trying to use that to light your fire as you head towards Summer XXXTreme in a rematch for this.”

Evie drummed her fingernails on the World Bombshell Championship that sat in her lap.

“This should be your sole focus, this is what you should be gunning for... instead you’re trying to play mind games you won’t fucking win. I showed you that at... Into the Void when I controlled you and played you like the fool you are... you spent the lead up talking about fairytales when you should have been focusing on keeping what was yours and well... that burden has shifted and I can assure you. You won’t need to worry about the pressure anymore.” Evie smirked.

Evie looked towards the camera a stern look across her face as she carried on.

“So, I hope you realise that Sunday night is going to the next loss on your journey back to the top of Sin City Wrestling, this week won’t be your turning point, it won’t be the kick up the arse you so desperately deserve. Teaming with Griff won’t be your saving grace. This Sunday night will be the wash rinse repeat that you have come accustomed to since Into the Void, another loss on your record another wake up call for you that will go unanswered.”

Evie sighed as she stared down the camera, it’s not that she didn’t respect Andrea it was just she wanted her to stand up and be more than what she was right now.

“You were once one of the most feared women in Sin City Wrestling and now you have managed to ruin the hard work you put in the early stages of your career. Since Into the Void you have focused on your excuses, you have pinned the blame on others and even your own personal cheerleader in Myra can’t help point you in the right direction. How does that feel knowing you have gone from first class to coach in the eyes of the SCW world? How does it feel knowing that you couldn’t even be granted your own single rematch, that Alicia was put into our rematch and has stolen your thunder? Does that eat you alive knowing that you’re not good enough to warrant a one on one match, does it eat you alive knowing your tag team partner from a few weeks back, even with your loss is being rewarded?”

Evie glared down the camera.

“It should.” she paused.

Evie looked down at her World Bombshell Championship before she turned back to look at the city lights.

“I’ll see you on Sunday night Andrea and I guarantee that Griffin won’t be your life force, he won’t be your lucky charm. Nor will having Alicia Lukas as the referee work in your favour. I will defeat you, it will be a preview to things to come at Summer XXXtreme. You see the booking gods might have thought this was a wise idea to get under my skin, but trust me I’m coming to Climax Control locked and loaded and focused on showing the world that I can and will be a defending champion.” Evie paused.

The camera focused on Evie’s reflection in the class showing the focus on her face.

“Team Jordan is going to come into Climax Control and we are going to show the world, the type of power couple we are... I mean, that’s what you all wanted.” Evie sighed.

The camera panned in one more time before she let this one rest.

“I’ll see you Sunday night Andrea, you better be ready to bring your A game... oh and Alicia don’t even think about crossing the line because believe me it’s won’t be work the payback.” Evie smile wickedly.

The footage then comes to a stop and fades the black on Evie’s smiling face.
