A Merry Little Fight

Travis Levitt versus St. John Cross versus Lachlan Kane
The scene opens up on a shot of big brick building. It's looking a little rundown, but mostly stable, and through the magic of video editting, a few moments later we merge into an interior shot of the building, this time in a stairwell. As if on cue, down the stairs comes a running Travis Levitt, pumping his feet quickly as he hits each of the steps with a determined look in his eyes. Brushing past the camera with his headphones on, Levitt keeps right on running as he goes down the stairs, and out of sigh. The camera just stays staring where he went though, and a minute later the sight of Levitt running up the stairs can be seen. This time though he glances up and seems to spot the camera, slowing his pace coming to a stop on the landing and breathing hard. He looks at the camera intently for a moment, and then slowly lowers his headphones. Reaching up to wipe the sweat away from his face, and glancing past the camera to whomever is behind it.
"You want to do this now?"
There's a slight nodding of the camera, and Levitt lifts his wrist to look at his watch before nodding.
"Alright. Gotta be quick though. I got a meeting to go too."
Levitt steps over to a nearby corner of the stairwell, reaching down to pick up a bottle of water and a towel. Wiping off his face, he sets the towel down, before flicking up the top of his water bottle, and taking a deep swig. Letting out another deep breath to calm himself down, his eyes now turn back to the camera, having taken that precious few moments to calm himself down, before he speaks up again.
"You know, this time of the year, so many of us get lost in the holidays. The giving and the recieving of gifts. The happiness of family. The victory of the human spirit. It's almost like every year, there's a distinct switch flipped amongst people, that makes them want to be nicer to others."
"It's not a switch I have inside me."
"See, this week is my second Climax Control. My second bite of the apple, as it were. My second chance to show to you fans, and the SCW brass, that I am every bit as good and as dangerous as I have sold myself up to be. Last time, I came up against Joshua Acquin. Mr. SCW himself. And I did exactly what I said I would do. I used him as an example. I ran over him, and I put...him....down."
Levitt pauses now, taking another sip of his water and letting out a long sigh. Happily refocusing himself as he looks at the ground and then casually back up and into the camera.
"And so this week, SCW responds by doubling my competition. It's not enough to fight one man, now I need to fight two. And not just any easy wins either. No, this week I get two men that have shown they will be a real fight. You have a man already holding gold in SCW, in Lachlan Kane. And you have a fellow newcomer in St John Cross. This, people, is what we call a real challenge. There'll be no easy wins here. No casual challenges. If I am going to win this fight, I'll need to give it my all. I'll need to bring something extra. I'll need to step up to another level."
Levitt chuckles and lets out a happy little smirk.
"I like challenges. I like good fights. This week is going to be fun."
Levitt grins again, moving past and over to the steps. He puts a foot on the bottom step and then leans forward to start doing some stretches as he glances back at the camera.
"See, thats why every moment matters this week. Its why I can't slow down. Because this match is going to be hard, and it's going to be a fight. And I need to be ready for it. I've fought harder battles before. I'll fighter harder battles again. But this week.....it seems like a tougher fight then my last one. And I'm looking forward to coming out on top. So Lachlan, St John, bring your best this week. And lets see who the better man really is."
And with that, Levitt starts running up the stairs, the camera watching him for just a few moments before we fade...to.....black.
