Sense is set in Chicago, IL at a park near Matt's house. We see Matt Spears walking his new St. Bernard that Jon Dough insisted that they pick up back in Utah. The day is warm but clouds cover up the sky. No rain however. Matt can see that there is a function going on at the park in which there are a lot of kids. The dog has no leech which is ok since the dog seems to follow and take orders with no issue. The dog is seen wearing his I like it doggy style T-shirt that was made by Ted and Matt is seen wearing a Chicago Cubs hat a throwback Mark Grace jersey, black shorts and black shoes.
As Matt is just walking with his dog (Who has no one yet so Matt just calls him Doggy till a name can be found for him.) A few kids make there way to Matt and Doggy
Kids: Is that your dog?
Matt looks at the dog and the dog looks at Matt. Matt then looks at the kids as he responds to the question.
Matt Spears: Yes this is my dog.
Doggy: Wolf!
Kids get worried after hearing the dog bark.
Matt: Oh don't be scared he won’t bite.
Kids: Can we pet him?
Matt: Hmm I'm not sure you need to ask him.
Kids look confused by the statement but one kid goes for it.
Kids: Can we pet you?
Doggy: Wolf!
Doggy leaves Matt side and goes closer to the kids. Doggy then lays down next to them as they start to pet him. A park staff member sees this from a distance and runs to the kids.
Park Staff: What are you kids doing? Your suppose to be with your group.
The kids stop petting the dog and Doggy gets up and goes back to stand next to Matt's side.
Park Staff: I'm so sorry about that.
As the kids are running back to be with the rest of the group one of the kids’ stops and turns to look at Matt.
Kid: Hey thanks for letting me pet your dog!
Matt looks at the kids.
Matt Spears: Sure anytime
Park Staff: So are you one of the parents of one of the campers?
Matt Spears: No but what is a camper?
Park Staff person looks at Matt odd then she gives out a smile.
Park Staff: We run a day camp here in the summer
Matt Spears: Oh I see so it’s a day camp because they go home at night?
Park Staff: Yes camp starts at 8am and ends at 6pm.
Matt goes to his pocket to get out his cell phone to check the time.
Matt Spears: Oh its 5:30 so I guess you guys are rapping things up then huh?
Park Staff: Yeah we stop all activities at 5:30 to give everyone a half hour to get ready to go home.
Matt Spears: So this goes on everyday?
Park Staff: No just Monday-Friday.
Matt Spears: Oh I see, well that’s cool
Park Staff: Yes, yes it is, it helps keep them off the streets.
Matt Spears: That may be true but then you have them here at the park were gang members like them prefer to hang out at.
Matt points ahead of him and the Park Staff member looks to see what Matt is pointing at.
Park Staff: Oh shoot. That’s my boyfriend and some of his friends. You should go before they start trouble.
Matt giggles and then looks down at Doggy.
Matt Spears: You hear that Doggy I should be scared of a group of punks
Doggy looks at Matt and then licks Matt’s right hand.
Park Staff: Wait you named your dog Doggy?
Matt Spears: No I have yet to name the dog.
Park Staff: Really how long have you had him?
Matt Spears: Well let’s see I found him last Monday in Utah and its now Tuesday so I had him for 8 days now.
Park Staff: Wait you found him in Utah as in the state Utah?
Doggy: Wolf!
Matt Spears: That was his way of saying yes.
Park Staff bends over to get a closer look at the dog and to see what he is wearing.
Park Staff: Wait does his shirt say that he likes it doggy style?
Doggy starts to howl like a wolf
Matt Spears: That’s his way of saying yes.
Matt looks at Doggy.
Matt Spears: Right Doggy
Doggy licks Matt’s right hand
Matt looks up and sees that her boyfriend and his friends are walking his way.
Matt Spears: Well looks like your boyfriend is heading this way.
Park Staff: Oh no you should go before he gets here.
Matt chuckles a bit.
Matt Spears: Trust me I’ll be okay standing right here.
Park Staff: Well I need to go now. It was nice talking to you…
Matt Spears: Matt my name is Matt Spears
The group of men has approached Matt, Doggy and the Park Staff.
Park Staff: Hi babe.
Dude1: Who the fuck is this guy.
Matt has a smirk as he begins to speak.
Matt Spears: I’m a guy you don’t want to mess with.
Dude1 looks at Matt and then at his buddies. He makes eye contact in a way to let the others know to surround Matt Spears; Matt starts to laugh for a bit.
Matt Spears: Hey Park Staff lady do your boyfriend a favor and dial 911. His boyfriends and your boyfriend will need some EMT to come pick them up.
Dude1: Oh we got a wise guy here.
Matt Spears: Okay guys I was being nice but if you prefer the not so nice way then that works to.
Doggy turns around and backs up behind Matt so that they are back to back and the dog starts growling. Matt then starts laughing again.
Matt Spears: So which one of you punks wants to get bit first?
Matt takes one step forward and Doggy takes a step backwards just enough so that the dog can still feel Matt’s legs behind him. The boyfriend back down and tells his friends to back off as well. He then turns to look at his girlfriend.
Dude1: I’m leaving but I’ll talk to you later.
The park staff starts to get worried and looks at Matt.
Park Staff: I told you it was best if you had left.
Matt looks at the park staff then at the group of guys.
Matt Spears: Man fuck them. Fuck all of you. I dare one of you to step up to me.
The guys back off and start to walk away.
Matt Spears: That’s what the fuck I though.
Matt and Doggy also start to walk away.
A few hours later we are in Matt’s house. Matt and Doggy are in the living room watching TV. Matt looks at a text that is 24 hours old. The text is letting him know that he will be in a match this Sunday in SCW vs. Rage.
Matt Spears: So I fight the SCW Internet Champion this Sunday.
Matt puts his phone down and Doggy takes it and takes off with it to Matt’s bedroom. After a few seconds the dog is back in the living room with out the cell phone.
Matt Spears: Look Doggy, I know its time to watch some TV but I have to get a few things off my chest so I was going to use it to call Lin Ting Lu.
Doggy starts growling.
Matt: But Doggy you don’t understand.
Doggy is heard growling at Matt.
Matt Spears: Doggy sit!
Doggy gets up on to the couch and sits next to Matt.
Matt Spears: I meant on the floor.
Dog starts to growl
Matt Spears: Fine you can stay on the couch. I need to get up to get me a drink.
Before Matt can get up Doggy jumps off the couch and heads to the kitchen. A few seconds goes by and we see Doggy coming back with a Coors Light 16oz can of beer in his mouth. Doggy jumps on the couch and sits next to Matt and drops the beer on Matt’s lap. Matt leans in to hug the dog.
Matt: Damn Doggy you’re the shit bro for real.
Doggy starts to let out a howl. Matt Spears opens his can of beer and takes a swig.
Matt Spears: So Doggy this Sunday I have a chance at the Internet Championship.
Matt takes another swig.
Matt Spears: Well I guess that solves that.
Doggy jumps off the couch and decides to sit on the floor in front of Matt Spears almost in a way as if he wants to hear what Matt has to say.
Matt Spears: Ok Doggy this is what I mean. I was listening to the Hotwire a few weeks ago. Tommy was talking about how the Internet title is the 2nd biggest title then it’s the Roulette sitting 3rd. But I beg to differ. You see Doggy, how can that be. How can I go from losing a match that’s for the lowest singles title in SCW to then going to the 2nd title? It makes no sense. Like Timmy said the Roulette title has been around since SCW damn near started while the Internet title get show up to will after Jon Dough decided to go back to Norway so I can spend a year in jail. The old school/ hardcore SCW fans will never see the Internet title as the 2nd title in SCW.
Matt takes a swig from his beer.
Matt Spears: I’m sure the bosses in SCW may want us to look at the Internet title as there 2nd biggest but then I must ask this. If that is so then why is it that when anyone rather it’s a camera man, wrestler or a fan goes to the SCW website which is controlled by the SCW bosses. Why is it that we see this?

Looks to me as if they view the Internet title as the bottom of the barrel as far as championships are concerned oh look we don’t see that crap called the Fearless Title on that list. What a shocker.
Matt goes to take a swig of his beer but ends up just drinking it all. Matt puts the empty can down and Doggy gets up and takes the can to the kitchen. We see Doggy come back with a new can of Coors Light. Matt takes the can.
Matt Spears: Thanks Doggy.
Matt opens the can and takes a swig.
Matt Spears: As I was saying. If you go to the website you can clearly see that they put the SCW Tag Team titles before the Internet title. We maybe they just over looked it. I do know this thou. It would make sense to think the Internet title is the lowest title in the company.
Matt takes a swig.
Matt Spears: With that logic then one can say this.
Matt leans forward a bit
Matt Spears: Someone in SCW decided to gives Matt and Ryan a chance at the 2nd biggest title. Matt failed to the point that he was the one that tapped out. Someone there must think highly of me enough to give me a shot at the lower title to see what happens.
Matt takes a swig.
Matt Spears: Or maybe one of the bosses thinks it’s funny to have a new guy like Matt go one on one vs. a former World Champ. Speaking of that. Didn’t Rage go on to say how he preferred to be the world champ? You can only hold one title in SCW at a time so was that Rage’s why to say he is better then the Internet title. Does he feel that anything other then the world title is worthless?
Matt takes a swig.
Matt Spears: Forget the title shot. I see a bigger picture here one that makes the title seem second or more of a bonus to me. The real highlight is the fact I’m in the main event of a SCW show. That must mean that someone must like me there. I mean and I hoe Rage wont take this the wrong way but one how’s does my name come last not the champ and better yet how is the Civil War match not the main event? Both Mrs. Johnson and her wife Mrs. Johnson not the main event. I mean come on even I can see that it should have been. Rage I will go to this match prepared but you are a former World champ so I’m sure no one thinks I will win so it’s more about how good I do. Can Matt Spears main event other sows in the future? Can Matt draw enough money for SCW to keep putting him in the main event? Only time will tell.
Matt takes a swig.
Matt Spears: I will say this. I have no issues with Rage or for 90% of the SCW stars for that matter which I can add Kain to that list. However Rage did interfere in Kain’s return match so more then likely Kain will do the same in this match. Kain buddy please don’t because if you do then I may have to team up and Rage and kick your ass so that Rage and I can go back to what were getting paid to do and that’s to close the show and make it the best match of the night.
Matt leans back.
Matt Spears: That will be hard to do seeing how Rage and I will be following the Civil War match.
Matt lifts up his beer.
Matt Spears: Rage this beer is for you lets have a good no a great match and let the better man win.
