Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:
I cannot believe that you have signed a contract with THAT company Sammi.

Sitting in the middle of a pool in her parent’s house in Houston, Cyn Marlowe has a pair of aviators hiding her contempt for Sin City Wrestling as behind her, Samantha Marlowe is reading a contract as she reclines in one of the loungers in a baby pink bikini and silvered glasses.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
Oh come on Cyn, Sin City Wrestling can’t be that bad?  I mean they hired you right.  Besides this is my first time in the spotlight without you.

Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:
I know Sammi but let me just provide you with the 411 of the company and lack of any leadership.  Christian Underwood and Mark Hot Stuff Ward are not the kind of owners that have any skill, they are willy nilly with booking.  They didn’t recognize the skills I had and absolutely buried me like some second rater.  And don’t get me started on the kinds of bombshells they did promote.

Clearly not looking at her sister, Cyn just manages to rant without any reason or rhyme.  Sam just shakes her head at the comments and continues to read.  When she doesn’t reply fast enough, Cyn slowly paddles herself around to face her sister glaring at her over the slightly pulled down shades.  The glare finally receives a response.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
What?

Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:
Are you even listening to me little sister?  I mean I am giving you the benefit of my vast SCW experience to let you know that you definitely should not sign with them.  I love you too much to let you make a mistake like that.  Listen to me Sammi, stay home, settle down like I am doing and don’t even think of being a bombshell with SCW.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
I appreciate the concern Cyn, really I do but I am not you.  I love mixing things up and having fun in the ring.  I seem to remember that I was pretty good in amateur wrestling so I think I got this professional wrestling thing on lock.

Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:
Naturally you do, you are MY sister after all.  But SammiWich…

Behind her silvered shades, Sam lets her eyes roll at the use of the pet name her family have for her.  Coming from Cyn, this usually proceeded some kind of put down.

Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:
You don’t understand how demanding it is and how much you are going to be looked at as eyecandy.  And I wouldn’t want you to have to go through that.  The wolf whistles and men, well more like boys hitting on you.  Do you even know why I left?

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
You kept losing?

Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:
No I did not.  I left because I had more respect for myself than to slave away in the bottom feeder bombshells.

Cyn has begun to drift again, the glasses having been pushed back over her eyes to protect them from the bright sun.  Sam moves her hand in a talking motion as Cyn is ranting.  Once she finishes, Sam speaks up.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
Well sis, you did it, you have convinced me about Sin City Wrestling.

Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:
I am so glad Sammi.  Tear up that contract and you and I can make plans for this weekend to...

Cyn turns to find Sam signing on the last page of the contract.  Cyn can’t believe her eyes as Sam closes up the contract and slips it into the envelope before getting to her feet.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
Sorry Cyn, I won’t be around this weekend.  I’m delivering my contract and meeting up with the Asia tour in Japan.  I was talking with Christian Underwood and he said that I would debut in Osaka at Climax Control and that I should bring my contract with me.  I have so much to do, packing and getting on a plane.  I’ll see you when we get back to the States I guess.

Cynthia ~Cyn~ Marlowe:  You are going to regret this Sammi, that is a fact.

Samantha pays no mind to a bitter Cyn as she rushes off chattering to herself about the fact she is now a Bombshell in Sin City.  Slamming the door behind her, Sam disappears into the house.

Voiceover:
I am the son my father always wanted…

Don’t get me wrong, I am all woman but growing up I was your stereotypical tomboy.  I would be found on the court or field, in the gym or the pool rather than on the sidelines.  I wouldn’t be caught dead in a dress if I could be wearing jerseys and jeans.  That has since changed. I have embraced my feminine side and can get frilly with the best of them but that doesn’t mean that I can’t throw it down like the jock I was growing up and the newest Bombshell of Sin City wrestling I am today.

Standing in the bright lights of the Ginza, a young redhead smiles as her camera pans the view as she speaks from behind the camera.  Around her, the bustle of Tokyo flows with the occasional tourist stopping to wonder what is going on with the filming.  Gathering a small crowd doesn’t seem to bother the woman who pulls the camera away and turns it to begin filming herself.

Voiceover:
I guess I better introduce myself.  My name is Samantha Marlowe, Sammi for short or Sam for shorter.  I am the newest bombshell on the roster but most people around here are talking about my infamous sister Cyn who was a bombshell here before me.  And I have been reading the trades and how everyone is talking about how bad she was as a wrestler in the federation and that I am not ever going to live up to the hype because of her.

Now most would say ‘why even try Sam?’ and I will admit I almost didn’t sign on the dotted line when I saw some of the comments.  But then I thought better of it.  See, Cyn was everything a Houston deb needed to be as well as having the attitude of a bee with an itch, if you get my meaning.  Moms thought she ruled the world and so did Cyn.   Daddy on the other hand gave me the best advice I could have ever got and this is coming from a self-made man.   He said to me “Sammi wich, you gotta grab the bull by the horns to get ahead in life so here I am.

She begins to walk forward, the bright lights in the background as people around her talk and point at her.  Seeming oblivious to the distraction she is causing, Sam continues to address the camera which is bobbing and weaving with her hand movements through the crowd in a dizzying fashion.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
I have to ask, how cool is this debuting for Sin City in Japan?  I mean I always wanted to travel to Japan but to do it in my first ever professional wrestling match just blew my mind.  And not only do I debut in Japan but I am facing Candy Overton when I do.  Now she is a lot more experienced than I am but does she actually take this as serious as I do?  Does she want to succeed as badly as I do.  I have my sister’s reputation to fight here in SCW and trust me, Cyn cast a very big shadow.

Sam sighs heavily and for a moment has a determined look on her face.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
So Candy, I don’t really know you or how you are in the ring however, I am going to be doing my homework when I get to the hotel tonight.  I have my laptop and a lot of time until Climax Control.  And that means I have the time to study your moves and plan my strategy for this match .

Beginning to walk towards a large crowd, Sam can’t help but get caught up in the excitement of the Ginza.  Bright lights flashing attracts her towards a restaurant.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
Well, Candy, just thinking about the match and the fact your name is Candy got me hungry and I never was able to study without snacks so I came down to get a snack then it is right back to the laptop.  Then on to Osaka tomorrow for Climax Control.

Sam moves into the restaurant to see lit up boards advertising bento boxes and sushi.  Licking her lips, she once again addresses the camera for the final time.

Samantha ~Sam~ Marlowe:
I will see you in the ring at Climax Control Candy and just think that we will start off a night of firsts for yours truly, my first match, my first win and my first step out of my sister’s shadow.  I just can’t wait.  So see you soon and good luck, in my opinion, you are going to need it.

Sam smiles as the man behind the counter begins to motion at her, his rapid Japanese bringing a look of confusion to Sam’s face.  A helpful young woman moves forward to translate for the young redhead who is soon lost in the crowd of people.
