 Violent Conduct II may have been a success for SCW but it was a disaster for the Bombshell Roster as all the titles were stolen by the Mean Girls who all cheated to win their matches including the SCW Bombshell Tag Titles from Amy Marshall and NXT’s Jessie Salco, whilst the Bombshells are now on the warpath to win their titles back the NXT members had a few matches to win first.

First up in that regard was the ever popular “Fearless One” Steve Ramone who, fresh of recovering from an aggravated leg injury, was taking on the returning “Black Heart” Bruce Evans, Bruce is an SCW original who officially made his return at Violent Conduct II but if anyone was capable of putting a wrench in any of Bruce’s return plans it was Steve but can he win?

Another Supercard has come and gone and Jessie’s not happy with the results.

Not that I blame her, it’s been nearly two years since her last reign and when she finally wins it back the Mean Girls steal it from under her nose and Amy decides to take time off because of a family emergency, needless to say she’s not happy.

That is part of the reason why I’ve been avoiding her since Violent Conduct II but yesterday morning I found out some news that will brighten up her week.

*flashback*

At the time I was in my hotel room and playing Criminal Case on Facebook, I had discovered the game whilst I was recovering from my leg injury and not only is it a good time killer with a pretty damn good story for a Facebook game but as luck would have it several friends on my Facebook wall played the game as well and that helped me zoom through the first few cases and as of now I’m in the Maple Heights district.

“And that’s the last difference found and star collected!” I said with a satisfied grin as the screen showed that the third and final bonus scene had been completed. “Now I have to wait twelve hours for the analyses results, yay.” I muttered sarcastically before switching over to my main Facebook tab.

“Are you still on Criminal Case?” Charlotte asked as she walked up to me, we shared a quick kiss before I nodded. “You’re not wasting money on it, are you?”

“Nah, it’s actually almost completely free.” I responded with a grin. “You can buy energy boosters and in game cash to speed up the processes but it’s not needed to complete the game.”

“That’s a relief.” Charlotte sighed in relief before looking at the time on my Laptop Clock. “It’s 11:00am and Sophie’s still not awake yet, any ideas?”

“Give her half an hour if she’s still counting sheep then I’ll wake her up myself.” I responded and Charlotte nodded before the notification sound came up and I looked up. “An update from Bloodstock, wonder what it’s about?”

“Hopefully it’s an announcement that’s an improvement over Within Temptation and Opeth.” Charlotte responded as she shook her head and I clicked on the link to take me to Bloodstock’s Facebook Page. “I still don’t know what you see in Within Temptation besides the fact that their lead singer is an attractive woman and they perform your theme song.”

“Not even dignifying that with a response.” I responded as the page loaded up and I grinned broadly. “Oh, Jessie’s gonna love this!”

“Love what?” Charlotte asked before bending over to get a better view. “Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura and Insahn have been confirmed for Bloodstock? Yep, it’s an improvement over their last announcement!”

“Very funny, anyway this should make Jessie feel better!” I responded as I started making plans. “Come to think of it I haven’t seen Jessie all week.”

“It’s probably because she’s still in Vegas training that woman she met during the lead up to Violent Conduct II at Spike’s school.” Charlotte responded as she looked at Jessie’s Facebook wall on her phone. “You can drive up their tonight and meet up with her tomorrow afternoon she said that she’ll travel up to St. Louis for Climax Control on Friday.”

“I guess I’ll do that then.” I responded and Charlotte folded her arms. “And you can come too.” I added before she motioned to Sophie’s room. “And she can come too.”

*end flashback*

That was yesterday and as I was entering Spike’s training school I could hear the sounds of Cannibal Corpse’s new album, Charlotte and Sophie are back home for the moment and as I neared the ring area I saw Jessie and Katie in the ring, Jessie was wearing her wrestling attire whilst Katie was wearing a black sports bra with matching pants, I recognized the song that was playing as “Hollowed Bodies”, the album closer for Cannibal Corpse’s new album and once it ended I made myself known.

“I’m surprised you’re not headbanging to the song Jess.” I commented as I put my duffle bag down and Jessie looked up as did Katie, it was then I realized that Jake and Shane were at ringside. “Where are Spike’s students?”

“They are in the next room which has a bigger ring.” Jessie responded as she pointed to a door on the far side of the room. “And before you ask, they said that we could play our music as long as we kept the volume to a reasonable level.”

“Not blasting Cannibal Corpse at full volume should be a crime.” I joked getting a laugh out of Jessie and Katie. “And your Katie I’m guessing? How’s the training going?”

“Much better than the training at Casey’s school, I’ll tell you that much.” Katie responded with a grin as she walked up to the ring ropes. “What are you doing here anyway? Jessie said that you were back in St. Louis.”

“I was but I traveled down here to see how your teacher’s doing.” I said nodding towards Jessie and she frowned once she got the idea.

“Well let’s see, my titles got stolen by the Mean Girls and my third title reign in a row ended on the first defense.” Jessie responded as she exited the ring and marched up to me. “How do you think I’m doing?”

“I thought so, that’s why I also came here bearing news about Bloodstock that should make you feel better.” I responded catching the boys’ attention. “In fact it has to do with the band you were just playing.”

“They announced Cannibal Corpse?!” Shane exclaimed sounding like a kid who had gotten a new puppy for Christmas and I nodded. “YES!” And then Shane did a lap around the ring chanting yes over and over.

“That’s awesome news, don’t get me wrong.” Jake commented as he folded his arms. “But unless Cannibal Corpse is the Friday headliners I don’t think that’s all you wanted to say.”

“They aren’t, they aren’t even playing on the Friday they are playing on the Sunday night.” I responded with a frown. “They also announced Sepultura and Insahn.”

“And there goes my enthusiasm.” Shane said as he stopped running around the ring. “They announced the Sepultura cover band? Oh for fuck’s sake, unless it’s a reunion with Max and Igor I’m not interested!”

“I hate it when people call modern Sepultura that.” I muttered under my breath as I shook my head. “You do realize that Sepultura have gone through more than a few members right? And besides I’ve seen them live with Derek and he kicks ass, all I’m saying is that you should give them a chance.”

“You want to know who the last band I gave a chance to was.” Shane asked and I raised an eyebrow. “Shining at this year’s Bloodstock, we pretty much bolted to the New Blood Stage as soon as that horrible saxophone started playing.”

“Okay, Shining were the worst band at this year’s Bloodstock, I’ll give you that.” I admitted as I shook my head. “But come on, comparing Sepultura to a horrible attempt to fuse metal with Jazz? Isn’t that a bit unfair?”

“He’s got a point Shane.” Jake chimed in and Shane threw his hands up in defeat once he realized it. “Besides I’m excited about Insahn, mostly because it’s the side project of Emperor’s lead singer.”

“Yeah, the report on Bloodstock’s website said that.” I responded before shaking my head. “I’m surprised you guys don’t know about this anyway, I thought you had Wi-Fi at your house?”

“We did but the internet cut out just after I posted my last status because SOMEONE forgot to pay the bill.” Jessie responded as she sent a glare Jake’s way.

“The error’s been fixed but we won’t have the internet back up until later today, there was a problem on our provider’s side that somehow knocked the whole connection out.” Jake responded before shaking his head. “We’ve only been able to access the net on our phones and that’s because it’s on a separate network.”

“That sucks.” I responded with a sigh before getting an idea. “Look, I want to work out the kinks of my leg ahead of my match against Bruce at Climax Control, mind if I train with you girls?”

“Are you sure that you’ll be able to handle being beaten up by two women?” Jessie asked teasingly and I grinned.

“Come on, I’ve beaten up women before.” I responded and quickly face-palmed once I realized what I had just said. “That sounded horrifically wrong….” I trailed off as I ran my hand down my face. “What I meant to say was that I have faced tough women before and won.”

“You mean back in the GWA?” Jessie asked and I nodded in response. “Nice save and I will admit that the GWA has had some tough bitches on its roster and if you were able to handle them then you should be able to handle us.”

“Okay, now you’re making it sound like I cheated on Charlotte back in the GWA, which I didn’t.” I responded and Jessie laughed as I slid into the ring, we had a pretty good workout and thankfully my leg feels like it’s not gonna fall apart as I kick Bruce’s head into the cheap seats at Climax Control which is good. “Speaking of handling things…..” I said as I broke out of a headlock by Jessie. “How are you going to handle the Mean Girls whilst being in Misty’s corner?”

“Well for starters I’ll grab a pair of brass knuckles…..” Jessie responded as she leapfrogged over me only to be hit with a dropkick from Katie. “Then I’ll tenderize Liz’s face for the whole match, same goes for any Mean Girls that try to interfere.”

“Isn’t that a bit extreme?” I asked as I got up to my feet and Katie attempted a high cross body, I ducked and Jessie ended up taking it instead.

“It’s the Mean Girls.” Jessie responded as she pushed Katie off of her. “Can you honestly say that they don’t deserve it?”

“Considering my little slip up before the match…..” I trailed off as Jessie and Katie hit me with one of the Metal and Punk Connection’s finishers, namely Violent Dawn, I let Jessie pin me as I felt that my leg had gotten a good work out before I continued.  â€œI’m not even going to dignify that with a response.”

“Good choice.” Jessie laughed as I got up and Katie left the ring. “Good luck against Bruce, he may have been gone a while but he’s still a tough son of a bitch.”

“Thanks but I can handle him.” I responded before I left the ring and Jessie stayed in the ring to work out for a bit, Katie went off to the women’s changing room and seeing that the boys were too busy chatting to bother me I decided to start trash talking.

“Before anyone uses the fact that I was just pinned by a much smaller Bombshell against me, keep in mind that that was just a workout and not a real match, besides I didn’t want to hurt them too badly!” I clarified as I sat down on a steel chair. “Putting that aside I am returning from my injury this week on Climax Control and I get to face another returnee in Black Heart Bruce Evans so let’s get to it!”

I said as I shifted my weight.

“One thing I’ve noticed about the guys that are returning as of late is that the returning guys are guys who never held a title and Bruce Evans is no exception, now before anyone calls “pot calling the kettle black” on me for that statement, next time I face Equinox his streak ends and I walk out the new Roulette Champion guaranteed, what I’m getting at is this, Bruce, are you trying to make up for past mistakes?”

Seems like it.

“Why else would you return after such a long time? Unfortunately Bruce you and your bad hairdo are facing me and whilst we have never fought before in any company I am more than confident that I can defeat you and end the year the way I want to end it, namely by ending it with a championship or two around my waist but first I have to beat you!”

And trust me, I will.

“Bruce, you’re a talented, experienced guy and so am I so this should make for a great match, however it will be a great match that I will end up winning and it’ll show the SCW Universe that I am not a washed up has been trying to relive my past glories, you’re thinking of Gabriel, and that I can more than hold my own against the younger talent, Bruce, I’m sorry to say but I’ll be kicking your head back to Canada to end this match!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

“I’ve never been much of a heartbreaker, mostly because I never had a girlfriend before Charlotte, but I am making an exception this week and not for the usual reasons, instead I’ll be breaking Black Heart’s heart by winning this match!” I heard some booing coming from the ring; they don’t appreciate a good pun apparently. “There’s nothing more to it so just remember Bruce, there’s nothing to fear but fear itself and no one to fear but “The Fearless One” Steve Ramone.”

I left the school as the scene fades.
