Mercedes Vargas vs. Jessie Salco vs. Amy Marshall

Mercedes sees the distraction and let’s loose a hard eye rake to her long time foe. Amy screams in pain as she drops down, rubbing wildly at her eyes. Drew tosses the brass knuckles to the outside of the ring and turns around to see Amy running over to Jessie, levelling her with a clothesline from hell. She rebounds off of the ropes and then dashes over to the opposing ropes. She looks to Mercedes with fire in her eyes as she comes over with a Shooting Stars Press! She hooks the leg, but Jessie is on her way over already.

Jessie surprises Amy with a boot to the gut. She runs backward and bounces off of the ropes with a Springboard before leaping up and landing the Circle Pit on Amy! The crowd bursts into cheers as Jessie leans down for the pin. However, Mercedes pulls her off instantly. She picks Jessie up for the Black Rose Overdrive, landing it quickly. She has reached her limit as she falls back on top of Amy, weakly hooking onto the leg. Drew drops down for the count.

Justin Decent: Your winner and Number One Contender to the Bombshell Roulette Championship... MERRRRRRRRCEDEEEES VARRRRRRRGAAAAAAAAASSS!!!


Another match and another loss and once again to Mercedes Vargas in a three way number one contendership to the Roulette title, to me the whole situation was getting more and more stupid, however, it was down to me not getting focused enough for matches.  Don’t get me wrong, I am fit and healthy but silly little distractions in my personal life and twitter were perhaps making me loose focus.

I knew that I had to refocus on what was more important, however, with Liz Smalls riling people up and just being an annoying little gnat and me just getting easily distracted with other things, things had to change.

Entering the backstage area after a hard fought match between Mercedes, Amy and Jessie, Amy grabbed a towel and water and sat down as she soaked in the usual failure that comes with facing Mercedes, but also thought about the team work between Jessie and Amy and although it was brief, it worked well, but we still understood that it was every women for themselves.  However, no matter what happened, Jessie and Amy budding friendship was there and growing.

Nursing her sore head, Amy stood to her feet and came face-to-face Jessie.

“Great match out there tonight. Sorry it panned out with Mercedes winning. But I was so damn close.”

Jessie said with a hint of frustration.

”It sucks, but just got to work harder.”

Amy shrugs.

“Anyway, I like how we worked out there tonight. I have an idea, but I’ll run it by you later…too many ears listening. Catch you late.”

And with that Jessie was gone in a flash, and it was for a good reason to, as I turned around I saw Rocky Mountains waiting.

“Rocky… how unexpected.”

“Hi Amy… ok to have a few quick words?”

Rocky asked.

“Sure, why not.”

“Thanks. So what was that conversation about between you and Jessie?”

“Just a few words… nothing exciting.”

Amy said not giving away anything.

“Right… so about the match… we once again saw Mercedes pinning you. Your thoughts?”

Rocky began questioning.

“Its not secret that Mercedes and I have a lot of history, with Mercedes always getting the best of me in some shape or form. However, tonight was just a little different from the usual supposed Mercedes ‘domination’, tonight she got lucky. As everyone saw Jessie was the better wrestler and should of won this match, but Mercedes stole the win to claim the number one contendership to Emma Rose’s Roulette title.  But I think Emma’s title is safe, as the last time Mercedes was in a title match, it was a four way and well Emma retained…but I guess Mercedes won’t be mentioning that.”

Amy said with a shrug.

“I just feel sorry for Jessie in these circumstances.”

“So what about you and your performance or lack of it tonight.”

Rocky asked.

“Everyone is entitled to have bad days and distractions.  This week was particularly bad… but in future I will be back to my usual self with less distractions and more ass kicking.”

With that Amy turns and heads toward the locker rooms to shower, change and wallow in self-pity, leaving Rocky Mountains to find her next interviewee.

Another week passes, yet more Liz Smalls drama fills my life and my timeline on twitter, as I try and make promises of biting my tongue and ignoring it and for a while it was working as she continued to piss everyone off, but that didn’t last long as her debut match in SCW was a strike a pose match against Delia.

And while the village idiots petitioned to find out who was going to cheer them on, I had decided to protest the match, however, first I had more important matters between Jessie and myself.

That afternoon – hours before Climax Control, Jessie and I met at the celebrity theatre, where we discussed what would be our new tag team name, but also tag moves and finishers.

“So what do you think of the team name?”

Jessie asked.

“I couldn’t come up with anything better than that. I love it.”

I said with a smile, the team name was perfect.

“Music… I was thinking Arch Enemy – You know my name.”

“What does that sound like?”

Jessie smirks and pulls out her cell phone and quickly scrolls through and the music starts to blare.

Listening to it, I like the sound, however, I didn’t think it was right for the team, but I suddenly remember that I had recently downloaded a new song called Wolves of War by Burn Halo.

“Sounds great, but I have an alternative tune.”

I pull my phone out from my pocket and scroll through before finding the music app and hit play as the sound of Wolves of War fills the theatre.  A few moments pass before Jessie speaks up.

“Who are they again?”

“Burn Halo… led by James Hart was the lead singer of Eighteen Visions.”

“I like it.  Lets use that one.”

Jessie and I smile, this was easy, but the next thing to talk about was wrestling moves and finishers and that wasn’t going to be so easy.

“Team moves next.”

I said as Jessie slid her phone back into her pocket.

“I was thinking about using moves like the doomsday device, hurricanrana, superkicks and a few other low tech moves.”

“I like, but I always find tag team moves a bitch to come up with and name.”

I said shaking my head, as Jessie shakes her head in agreement.
“They are though, especially when you can’t put them into practice.”

Amy nods, knowing that last time she was in a tag team it was with Necra Kane and that team was thrown together at the last minute. Hopefully this time Jessie and I have more time to prepare before the first match.

“So when do you think we should announce the team?”

I asked, pressing stop on the music app on my phone.

“Tonight?”
   
Jessie said.

“When?”

I asked.

“Anytime during the show… there isn’t a major rush and we don’t have matches either.”

Jessie said.

“True, though I might protest that stupid strike a pose match.”

I said.

“Yeah I would just ignore it and not watch it. As you said… treat it as a piss break.”

I chuckled a little at that comment.

“Yeah, but someone has to be out there pissing on their parade and represent the people who are unhappy with this match and lets not forget there is going to be a host of village idiots cheering on either Delia or Liz.”

I said shaking my head again.

“Anyway… I have to disappear, but I’ll text you with a list of moves and we can brainstorm what to use and name them.

Jessie said changing the subject before it escalates into a massive rant.  She then stands to her feet before grabbing my hand and pulling me to my feet.

“I’ll see you soon.”

Jessie continued.

“Sure.”

I said, as I watched Jessie climbs out of the ring before disappearing off, leaving me alone.  I then climb out of the ring and grab my phone, where I dial Joshua’s number and see what he is doing for lunch.

Scream by the Misfits hits over the pa, as we see Amy Marshall appear at the top of the ramp wearing a misfits t-shirt, jeans and converse hi-tops – showing that she wasn’t in action. Instead of heading down the ramp, Amy turns and Jessie Salco appears through the curtain and stands next to Amy.

Both give each other a respectful nod, before making their way down the ramp, the splitting and entering the ring on different sides, with Amy getting a mic before meeting in the centre of the ring as the music dies down.

Raising the mic to her lips, Amy begins to speak.

Amy: “Tonight, we have Joanne Canelli facing off against Katherine Kensington and Electra Styles is defending her title against Vixen and many other great matches except for one so called wrestling match.

Amy Marshall, Jessie Salco, Necra Kane, Emma Rose, Jade Arcador, Traci, Mercedes, Roxi, Odette and Brandi… all great bombshells in this company… all vying to get a shot at either Emma or Electra and all without a match this week because some genius booker decided to say fuck them lets book Delia vs. Liz Smalls in a Strike A Pose match.

Since when did we go back to the nineties, where there were bra and panties matches, paddle on a pole matches, chocolate pudding matches and evening gown matches?

As far as I’m concerned this nothing more than a piss break match… because I for one won’t be watching that bullshit match between two untalented brain dead zombies.

And my friend here… feels the exact same way.”

Jessie, who is holding her own mic, raises it to her lips as she shakes her head.

Jessie: “Thanks Amy but to be honest, I think calling this match a piss break is an insult to piss breaks!” Jessie says as she paces back and forth inside the ring. “Like Amy said, there are plenty of great Bombshells that SHOULD’VE been booked instead but what do we get instead? A brainless bitch who can’t win a match cleanly to save her life and her idiot opponent who spells like a twelve year old and I’m being generous about her spelling!”

Jessie says as she shakes her head.

Jessie: “But we didn’t just come out here to piss all over this so called match, if we wanted to do that we’d probably do it on Twitter instead! Amy, why don’t you tell them what’s going on?”

Raising the mic to her lip, Amy gave a small smile.

Amy: “The second reason for being out here is because Jessie and I have a small announcement. So without hesitation, let me introduce to you, the newest deadliest tag team in Sin City Wrestling the Metal and Punk Connection – Jessie Salco and Amy Marshall.”

Wolves of War by Burn Halo hits over the p.a as Jessie and Amy raises their arms in unison.

”Another tag team is born. Metal and Punk Connection. Jessie Salco and Amy Marshall.  The reason behind this team… so go after the tag titles that have been gathering dust around The Freakettes waists and now currently sit upon the waists of Traci Patterson and Mercedes Vargas.

It’s funny… most companies would just make the title inactive due to lack of competition, but Sin City Wrestling isn’t any other company because they have 3 different belts for the Bombshell division and its great.

However, I find it weird that as soon as someone mentions the tag titles and Jessie and I teaming, suddenly everyone wants a shot and people join or rejoin the company and a new tag team is formed.

Just like our opponents – Marisol Hawks and Tiami Tyler

Though in fairness to Marisol, she has been in this company for a few matches, but it’s the likes of Tiami… yes you have been in SCW previously, but you are only rejoining because there is a slight possibility of getting some gold around your waist.

Before moving onto the gold and the team of Mercedes and Traci, lets go back o Marisol and Tiami.

Marisol… like I’ve said you have had one maybe two matches here in SCW… but to be honest I actually find you a decent wrestler and a decent person and I think you should do well in this match.  You got unlucky in your last match against Liz Smalls and while you should have a better match against Jessie and I… you won’t come out on top.

And I will tell the same thing to Tiami… Jessie and I will be walking away from this match as winners and challengers to the tag team title.

Yes Jessie and I are a new untested tag team, but so are you and Tiami… but the difference is that Jessie and I have wrestled each other, we are friends and have far more experience in getting gold in this company than you.

So you will just have to wait for your turn…

Just like Tiami will have to wait for her turn.

Firstly welcome back Tiami… so how long will you stay this time? A week? A month?

Unlike my partner, I have never faced you… so I don’t know what you are like inside the ring, but what I do know is that your return will be very disappointing for you, as Jessie and I show why we are the most dangerous tag team.

We may share jokes and laughs… all the expense of Liz Smalls… on twitter… but stepping into that ring all that will go out of the window.

Marisol and Tiami… I wish you luck in your future careers but come Sunday night you will see Jessie and I win and walking away as the number one contenders to the Bombshell tag titles held by Traci and Mercedes.

And speaking of which… Traci and Mercedes… I hope you are watching very very carefully because once we get done with Marisol and Tiami… we are coming for them titles.
