 (The lights flash wildly around Faith as she walks up the ramp at Climax Control.  They are matched with her heavy heartbeat.  Her breaths are intense while she walks up the ramp.  She stops for just a second and turns her head to the side with the lights flashing out.  She sees them cheering wildly for her when a drop of sweat comes down and blinds her temporarily.  The lights fade with her blink and her vision is blurry for just a second when she sees the crowd roaring for her.  The shock fades a little bit when she looks up at the curtains.  She feels a fan pat her on the back followed by another and another.  She gasps in surprise.)

{Faith}
That feeling was so intense.  I don’t even know how to describe it so that you can fully understand.  The sweat dripped down my body as I stood there in all of my glory.  I did exactly what I said I was gonna do when I beat the hell out of those two rich girls.  The fans loved me.  They really loved me.

(Faith continues up the ramp with the sound of her heartbeat slowing down.  She did it and she was about to do more great things.  Her hand pushes the curtains away just in time to see Spike Staggs standing backstage next to Vixen.  Her ears were still clouded by the sound of her heart beating rapidly but his tight, proud embrace said it all.  She wraps her arms around him and squeezes him tightly while babbling on randomly.  As he lets go and she watches his lips move, she nods her head.  She looks over to Vixen who shakes her hand and the warm greeting from the Bombshell Champion was enough to make her heart skip a beat.)

{Faith}
I had the world on my side when I debuted in Sin City Wrestling.  The fans loved me.  I made my teacher proud.  I was loving life right about now.  I felt like I had it all.

(The sound of her heart beating finally leaves her ears when she watches Vixen and Spike walk away.  That smile that was missing for years came back and she never wanted it to leave.  She watched as the camera crew left and she was all alone.  Inspecting the area very carefully she lets loose with a victory dance that is just as embarrassing as she knew it would be.  She ends it with a jump into the air.)

{Faith}
Spike always told me that wrestling is only half of this business.  He said that it is a sad truth of any sport, especially professional wrestling.  I showed that I have the talent to be here in Sin City Wrestling.  I had a friend in Spike Staggs and Vixen, but I wanted them to know that I could do this all on my own.  I appreciated their help but I never really could get along with others.  I was always causing trouble and acting a damn fool.

(Faith walks on back to the women’s locker room to clean up after her match.  In a flash, she was in a different locker room setting her duffel bag down.  She had some plans for the next Climax Control that would definitely get the fans on her side.  She has her headphones in listening to “Blood, Milk, and Sky” by White Zombie.  No one else is in the room, so she decides to get cleaned up to make herself extra presentable to the fans.  She walks over to the shower and turns it on to let it warm up.  She dances to the sexy beat of the music.  Her breath becomes hoarse for just a second because she sensed something.  Maybe it is the fact that the lights just went out.)

{Faith}
That can’t be a good thing can it?  I mean you see these horror flicks where some chick is in the shower rubbing her good down with soap like she got no effing clue there is some maniac outside the stall with a machete.  Well here I am and I might as well be a big booty blonde white girl because my shit was about to get tore up.  I was at my favorite part of the song when my headphones got ripped out.  I felt a fist come right at my stomach.  I swung back and caught her in her side.  I started swinging but then someone else came and got me.  And another, and another and another!  Five bitches was swinging on me and I was getting a prison style beatdown!

(Even though she couldn’t see anything, the sound of the water running echoes through her mind.  She could hear the cowards grunting and laughing at her misfortune.  The pain was mild until her head collided with the wall and everything is covered in red.  That red liquid trickling down her face as the warm water flushes it away.  The red cancels everything out for a minute.)

{Faith}
What can I say?  Spike was right.  Being good at what you do is only half of the battle.  I had to find that out the hard way.  When I woke up, Vixen was cradling me in her arms.  She looked very worried for my safety.  I felt like I had a friend for the first time, and what happens?

(The match banner flashes across the screen where Nick Jones and Vixen are shown standing across the marquee from a smaller depicted Faith and Giani Di Luca.  The bright lights flash behind them showing off the perfectly bright smile of Vixen, holding the Bombshell Championship belt, glowing off of her beautifully tanned skin.  It flashes over to Nick Jones, the big man in SCW next to Spike Staggs.  They look so perfect together, the perfect combination of beauty and brawns.  Talent and wit.  How could Faith compare to the Bombshell Champion?)

{Faith}
When I found out my next match, I was very excited about the challenge.  I couldn’t wait to get in the ring and show off my skills against the best Sin City had to offer.  It wasn’t until Steven told me all the problems that could come from this that I got nervous.  It’s just competition, right?  Friends can compete against each other, and it’s all good.  But apparently in the wrestling world, fighting friends causes trouble.  If I lose to her, I might never get a chance at the Bombshell Championship.  If she loses to me, then I’m a rookie who just outdid the champion, and Vixen could wind up hating my guts instead of showing me the ropes.  After what she did, helping me like she did, I don’t wanna slap her in the face for it.  What should I do?

{Giani}
You should answer your damn phone, girl.

Faith looks over, surprised to see Giani standing next to her at the CD shop.  The young girl in front of her looks almost as surprised, but she is blinded by his good looks.  Faith hands the autographed picture to the little girl who sheepishly retreats down the aisle and out of the door.  Faith clinches her jaw as she stares up at Giani.

{Faith}
That’s creepy, man.  How the hell did you even find me?  You are like the worlds best stalker, and I don’t like it one bit.

{Giani}
Then maybe you should have thought of that before you slapped me in the face last week on Climax Control.  Look I’m just as upset about having to team with a loser like you, but the fact of the matter is that we gotta do this, dawg.  We gotta team up because the bookers are paying us to do it.  And from the looks of this area, you need a paycheck like really damn bad.

{Faith}
Are you trying to get slapped again?  You call me “dawg” and then you make fun of where I’m from?  Now you probably expect me to jump into your arms and ride back to Vegas with you, don’t you?

(Giani laughs in her face.  Faith looks angry when he does this and she reaches her hand back as a warning.  Giani grabs onto her wrist and pulls her forward.  He gets down to her level, sinking down a foot, and he throws her wrist back behind her.)

{Giani}
Girl, look.  You do what you gotta do.  Make a joke out of this.  Get your ass prison raped every time you turn around, I just don’t give a fuck, okay?  I got money to spare.  I flew here on pocket change.  So if you want to get your ass kicked by that bitch Vixen then do it.  But don’t you dare tell me that you are going to cost me my revenge on Nick Jones.  I’m not having it!

{Faith}
So you think I enjoyed having some punk ass girls beating on me like I was a punching bag?  Do you?  I had as much fun with that as you did when Nick Jones beat you down a few months ago.  I did my homework homie, I know that shit.  I been training here in my gym with my people and doing my own damn thing.  I didn’t want to team with you because you are everything I despise about people.  But you are right.  I am going to do it because I need a paycheck.  I’m going to fight a friend while teaming with a fucking jackass just so that I can prove that I have what it takes to be in this business.  Instead of worrying about the girl who swung on some bitches like she was a dude, and won her debut... how about you worry about your own damn self?

{Giani}
You are raw.

{Faith}
Thanks.

{Giani}
That wasn’t a compliment.  Find your place, wrestle behind the men, and don’t get in my way.  I promise that if you do, you will regret it.

(Giani leans up from out of Faith’s face and takes a step back.  He is not playing around with her now.  She wants to hit him so bad, but something in her is holding her back.  She feels it tugging her arm back down to her side.  Some might say it is pride, but she really couldn’t have another assault charge on her record.  She clutched her jaw together as they stared into each others eyes for what seemed like forever.  Giani smiles finally and like a “gentleman” he takes the CD’s from Faith’s hands and brings them to the counter.  The man at the register looks at him strangely considering his Rolex watch and Gucci sunglasses.  She walks up to him not sure what he was doing.)

{Clerk}
That’ll be sixty-eight fourty-three.

(Giani pulls out a wad of money and flips a few bills out.  He puts them down on the counter and then flings the rest of the wad at Faith.)

{Giani}
There you go.  Now go buy yourself a fucking clue.

(With that, Giani walks out of the store, pulling his sunglasses down over his eyes and his jacket shut.  Faith shakes her head as she watches him get into a taxi and take off.  She slowly shakes her head from one side to the other until he is gone.  She looks at the store clerk with an apology written on her face when she jumps down and picks the money up off of the ground.)

{Clerk}
You have no pride, sister.

{Faith}
And you got no two thousand dollars laying at your feet, brother!

“As much as I despised my tag team partner, who would leave that kind of money laying on the ground?  Somebody is flying first class to Vegas this week.  And I actually get to stay at a hotel inside of Vegas instead of the crappy one on the edge of town where the hookers have ‘Five Dollar Sale, Everything Must Go’ stickers on their doors.  In his own weird way, I think that was Giani’s way of trying to help me.  He’s got a heart of shit, but I can deal with it for one week.  I just want to extend my hand out to Vixen this week and thank her for her help last week.  No matter what happens girl, I want you to know that there won’t be any hard feelings on my part.  And I’m sorry that you have to go through the same thing I do with partners.  We both got some jackasses on our teams, but let’s do our best not to let egos get in the way there, okay?”
