Scene 1- Broken, Beat and Scarred
The scene shows Casey Williams heading into the locker room area, looking for Spike Staggs, knocking things down along the way. Shortly thereafter, Casey finds Spike, who just came out of the bathroom, and is putting his phone away.
Casey-“What the hell Spike!!!! You talk about unity as a stable, yet I get mugged by Johnny Brown and his manager Stu Smith. Then I got attacked by Matthew Kennedy and his new bodyguard Jason Burnside. I was just powerbombed by Jason through the table that was supposed to be used for the signing of the contract.”
Spike looks concerned that Casey may be physically hurt, but can tell by looking in Casey’s eyes that his emotions are running even higher.
Spike-“Casey, calm down bud, I know you are frustrated. If I wasn’t on the phone trying to get in touch with the police and the insurance company to tell them that my car was set on fire by Electra Blaze.”
Casey-“Why should I calm down, Spike. You talked about unity, but shit, you were too busy focused on your personal agenda to bail me out. It is because of your poor leading that lead Jordan to leave NXT. He won’t come out and say it, but it’s true. That is why Misty said she didn’t want to marry you. She saw you for what you are, a piss poor leader, but I will stand by you because you need someone like me to show you what it takes to be a good leader.”
Spike-“I am truly sorry I wasn’t there to save you, it won’t happen again. I promise. Also, All those guys who attacked you waited until the most opportune time, when I was busy, to attack you. They are the cowards, seeing neither Johnny Brown nor Matthew Kennedy couldn’t handle facing you one on one, they both had to jump you, and have their henchmen join in on the attack. While we are talking of Jordan, did you see the promo that Goth did for the match against him, how he mentioned you and his success against you?”
Casey-“Yeah, that dude is like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. He talks about how dominant he was over me every time we faced, but he forgot that I was dominant over his alter ego, Dmitri, back in our AWA days. Not that it matters much though, seeing I don’t have to worry about facing him anytime soon.”
As soon as Casey says this, Vixen walks in, and checks to see how Casey is after the mugging.
Vixen-“Casey, please calm down man. I think you should focus your energy o the triple threat title match you are going to be in. You are facing Matthew Kennedy and Aleksei Koji for the Roulette Championship.”
Casey-“You are absolutely right, Vixen. I should focus on bringing another championship to NXT, and yet again, leave Spike being the only person in the stable without a title, proving that it is he who is unable to win titles here in NXT. I will have won 2 titles since I joined NXT to his none.“
Vixen-“Casey, you think it is wise to bash Spike, after all he has done to help focus your energy towards the opponents. If it weren’t for him recruiting you to NXT, would you have even gotten the title reign you currently have under your belt?”
As Vixen says that, you see Casey calm down and reconsider his anger towards Spike. Spike then chimes in again.
Spike-“Casey, you see. You don’t look at the big picture like Vixen and I do. You let your anger get the better of you, which isn’t healthy. You say I am an incompetent leader, yet I scouted you, brought you in and made you a champion. Just because I am not perfect and make mistakes like any human, doesn’t mean I am a poor leader. I do not need to win championships to be a successful leader. I recruit people and build them up, and they in turn win championships. Or I bring in someone like Vixen here, who is already a champion, and she continues to do what she does best.”
Casey-“I am sorry I doubted your skills Spike. I am just frustrated that you didn’t come save me from the 2 sets of muggings I just took. Not only that, I am in a 4 match losing streak, and am stuck on how to get back on track.”
Spike-“Casey, It is ok. I will help you get back on track.”
Casey walks out of the locker room and heads to the trainer’s room to get his head checked out from the title shot to the head. After he gets his head stitched up and bandaged, he calls Laura to see if she wants to meet him at his house.
Casey-“Hey Laura. How are you?”
Laura-“I am fine, how are you?”
Casey-“Oh, I have been better. I was mugged by Johnny Brown, and his sidekick Stu Smith, hit in the head with the Roulette Championship title by the champ, bloodying my head up a bit, and then Power bombed through a table that was to be used to sign the contract for the Roulette Championship match between Matthew Kennedy and myself, by Matthew’s new bodyguard, Jason Burnside. I did get medically checked out before I called you, so don’t worry. Other than that, I am ok, just frustrated with my losing streak, which is driving me to insanity at this point, trying to figure out what needs fixing in my game plan.”
As Casey says this, Laura gasps, and she puts her hand over her mouth, and then speaks again after she removes her hand. Also, Casey is walking towards the garage area, where his Harley Davidson Fatboy is parked.
Laura-“I wish there was something I could do to help you get back on the winning ways. Perhaps I make you a nice dinner sometime this week.”
Casey-“Listen, did you want to meet up at my place and then we can discuss plans for the wedding, and possibly make me that dinner tonight?”
Laura-“Sure, I will meet you there as soon as I can. I just got out of the shower.”
Casey-“Okay. I will see you soon. Bye.”
The scene fades to black as Casey hangs up the phone and gets onto his hog and heads home.
Scene 2- Three men, two losers, one champion
The scene opens with Casey arriving at the John Ascuaga’s Nugget Casino, in an attempt to get his mind off his next match, a triple threat match against Aleksei Koji and Matthew Kennedy, for Matthew’s Roulette Championship, but to no avail. Casey decides to call out Aleksei first.
Casey-"Hey Aleksei, I know you are new around here, and haven’t seen much of the destruction and pain I can cause. You saw that Matthew Kennedy had to bring in somebody to contend with me as a wrestler because of the pain I caused to Matthew after I attacked him when he beat Bobby “The Convict” Cage to retain his title. I will show the world why I am as much a dominant force as I say I am. You act as if you and I will team up to dominate Matthew. Yeah, the idea is nice and all, but how can I be sure and trust you where this is a triple threat match. You know as well as anyone that this is every man for himself. It would be nice to take him out of the equation altogether, but I will make sure you do not win the Roulette Championship when he gets taken out. Don’t act like you are the forgotten one in this match. Yeah, I will do everything to make sure I win the Roulette Championship, even if I have to pin you for it, and not Matthew. I am glad that I am not the only one who sees Matthew as a worthless champion and a man who likes to whine. Honestly, the fact that you are Romanian does not mean shit to me. I will do whatever it takes to win, and get myself out of my losing streak, and what better way to do it then to do it against a cocky Romanian and the soon to be FORMER ROULETTE CHAMPION!!!!”
Casey then takes a deep breath, calming himself down. He then begins to talk again this time turning his attention to Matthew Kennedy as he enters the casino and asks the waiter walking by to get him a Jack and Coke.
Casey-“Matthew, I have been scouting you ever since your debut here in SCW, and saw the potential you have. Don’t get me wrong, I may not like you, but you are a capable wrestler, capable of anything, just like me. You will do whatever it takes to win, and I respect that out of you, but that is the only thing I respect about you. I will prove to you and the world that I am destined for greatness. I will showcase my dominance when I defeat not one, but 2 guys in this match. You talk about being a great wrestler. I am going to prove to you how superior I am to you in the ring when I defeat you, and there is nothing Jason or Aleksei or anybody can do to stop me from winning the Roulette Championship, and inching one step closer to being the first Triple Crown Champion here in SCW. For once, we agree that it should be a one on one match between you and me, but nonetheless, I will be victorious over you and Aleksei Koji, whether you like it or not. You want to know what I did to earn a title shot. I will tell you. I went to Christian Underwood’s office after losing the tag team titles and my tag team partner, and asked him that since I won’t be able to get a rematch for the Tag titles, if I could get a replacement title shot instead, and he agreed to give me a shot for the Roulette Championship when I so chose. Let me tell you this, no matter what you say cannot stop me from kicking the holy hell out of you, causing you so much pain and anguish that you will have no choice but to call your momma. You will need all the help that you can get, not only because of the power bomb Jason gave me, but the fact that you hit me off the head with that title of yours, bloodying me up.“
Casey passes by the slot machines and gets to the poker tables, looking for a good Texas Hold’Em table to play at as waiter returns to give Casey his drink, and then the scene fades to black.
