Settling The Score
« on: April 19, 2012, 06:45:18 PM »
I stepped into a caged ring somewhere in London, surveying my surroundings. It was full of pigs that screamed hoarsely, demanding my demise at the hands of their significant champion. Next to me was Ariel, who merely shook her head, wondering how low these idiots can be in their thinking. She then kissed me on the lips, then stepped out of the ring, the door closing behind her. I chanced at a quick look, seeing some stupid gang-member trying to get his hands on her. She grabbed the man’s wrist, tossed him over her shoulder, got on the ground, and broke his arm with a vicious armbar. That made the man scream in pain as he rolled away, his boys trying to help him up and getting him out of there. The rest of the men around here immediately backed off, completely scared of her presence.

I smirked, then turned around to study their champion. He was a rounded, fat man covered with gang ink all over him. I had tattoos of my own, but nothing like this man. He is currently serving his boss, James “The Knife” Whitman. I arrived here to take over this territory, as I’ve done with all the others in this lifetime. He was also the man responsible for bringing in two men to attack my girl and I at a hotel awhile back. It was time that I put him in his place by destroying his champion. I studied him even further and he was carrying a sword. LIke I’m really afraid of anyone carrying a weapon; I’ve been slashed and hit with every kind of weapon known to man and it doesn’t faze me one bit; not even a bullet can stop me in my tracks, because I’ll continue on and get the job done. That’s why my legend is incredible; I can survive against the greatest odds and still come out winning in the end.

You made a big mistake coming here. Are you that stupid or naive?

You have been fearing me and my reputation, but you haven’t found out the hard way. Your champion will fall and when I’m done, I’ll be taking over this place and claiming it for my own. Everyone else fell before me, James. You will be just like the rest. Just another day in the office, James. Give up now while you have the chance.

In response, he snarled with rage.

Kill him!

The man started to circle the ring, holding the sword with both hands, cackling as he was imagining the pain he was going to try and inflict on me. I stood my ground, making no move, my arms folded. Then I started walking, circling with him, just waiting patiently for him to make a foolish move. In a fight, you have to study the opponent’s body movement, feel out their confidence, test them accordingly, to see if they can withstand the gruesome fight for a long period of time or fall quickly. This guy had none of the strong attributes that only I, Kain, The King Of Kings possessed. Then again, no one else really could compare to my physical strength and prowess. This man was also an obvious fool, not a patient student in the game of war, as he rushed towards me, slashing wildly, trash-talking as he did so. I easily avoided all of his strikes, letting him get frustrated. He was telling me just to stand there and die, which I thought was a waste of time. Finally, he went for a horizontal strike. Wanting to end it now, I quickly grabbed his hand, twisted it enough so that his bones would break. He screamed loud, the sword clanging on the ground. Holding his hand still, I grabbed his sword with my right hand, then knocked out with a headbutt. He laid on the ground, motionless, as I scribbled a “K” mark onto his neck. James sat on his throne, his face twisted with hate, as I pointed the sword at him and grinned like a cheshire cat. Behind me, a fight was happening, but Ariel held them off, destroying them one by one. James clenched his knuckles in fury, unable to believe what just happened; the king and queen taking over another territory in the underground world, another chapter in this glorious legend created and established once more.

Like I said, James...it’s just another day in the office for me!

London Brawling.

This is the one pay-per-view where everything changes for the greatest combatant of all time - me. All of you can take a nice, long glance at the card and see a card that’s full of pitiful losers that do not ultimately matter in the scheme of things. It doesn’t matter if championship belts are lost or retained. It doesn’t matter who emerges victorious or who falls before their present adversary. What matters, in the end, is how I triumph. Victory, at my hands, will result in a new era unlike any other! People outside of the wrestling business will once again be impressed by my tenacity and determination to get the job done. The entire roster, both superstar and diva, will tremble heavily before my incredible superiority, helpless and unable to do anything except to pay me the respect and admiration that I deserved from the very beginning. Fact is, what I’m about to pull off is nothing but a stroke of genius on my behalf. And really, it’s all thanks to my cowardly opponent, Mark Ward, who set the whole thing in motion. I want to start by talking facts, talking truth, like how I’ve always done ever since I walked into this place and  decided to claim this place for my own!

For anyone not keeping up with this pathetic drama, I’ll gladly indulge you. Mark Ward is a lowlife and someone that really can’t get around to accomplishing things on his own without connections or being part of a political position to make himself look good. In order for him to still stay at where he is, he’s looking for a puppet to be his obedient slave and commit his crimes without questioning him at all. To get someone like that, he will want to comfort you with false promises and exaggerated lies and unfortunately, most people will believe him. So he came to me, in a desperate bid to turn the tide against anyone that stood in his way. He thought that, under his deluded guidance, that I would be walking into the promised land, with all the money and fame I could ever ask for. He tried to play himself as the friendly soothsayer that would’ve scratched his back as long as I scratched his, in other words. However, I harbor no like for anyone within this federation and I had no intention of allying myself with anyone, even when I was forcefully booked in matches I did not wish to participate in. So I made a choice on my part.

I refused to be his pawn. In retaliation, as I was walking out of his office, he attacked me and left me for dead. That would be the biggest mistake he would ever make! After the heinous crime was executed, he tried to come out and explain himself. He would create some of the worst lies in wrestling history. He would tell the public that he needed me and that I was a fool for turning down his offer. He said that I was nothing without him and that things would change for the worse as I continued my journey. Since some of these lies have brainwashed the public, allow me to correct you. First off, it’s obvious from the get-go; he’s been very jealous of my success. Every guy in the world takes a look at me and they can’t help but want to BE ME! Mark is exactly the same; he can’t help but be enraged when he sees that I’m a man of full confidence and no arrogance. He knows that I’m a man of my word and that I can’t get the job done on my own. Each and every time I walk into the ring, it’s all about what I do. Mark  could never hold a candle to my greatness and therefore is nothing but a mere shadow in my presence. Second, I’m an intelligent man. I’m nothing like the pack of fools that follow Mark like a bunch of blindly loyal, stupid dogs, such as Nick Jones. I declined his offer, unwilling to be part of his madness and insanity. He doesn’t like it when the smartest man in the world treads his own path, not caring for anyone but himself and makes his own way in life without the aid of others. Fact is, I’m no one’s bitch and Mark hates me for not becoming one of his bitches. With all these facts in mind, Mark Ward, in a fit of jealous rage and hatred for everything I stand for, assaulted me while my back was turned, thus setting off the chain of events that lead us to this point.

Mark, I now want to ask you. How did it feel to be assaulted by a plan of my own creation, one you never saw coming? For all of your genius, you failed to see what I did coming. You thought that I would somehow just give it up, walk away, and just wait until London Brawling came out, so that I could get my hands on you. But it doesn’t work that way, Mark. You see, I’m a man that’s true to his word and when I tell you that vengeance will come at a time of my own place and choosing, it will happen. For weeks, we’ve been trading physical attacks unto each other, trying to gain the upper hand in terms of momentum and mind games. Last week, I know, for a fact, that I have your number. I orchestrated a plan that went into motion the moment I set foot in the building last week in Berlin, Germany. You decided to ambush me, but not on your own, but with the aid of your friends. You chained my girl to the ropes with handcuffs and delivered a nasty beating. I paid you back in mind by delivering sweet revenge with my own people. Who are those people, Mark? I’ll leave that a mystery, if only to stir you up in further anger, trying to figure out, for the life of you, on who the hell those men and women were that just jumped on you and your stupid allies lin total darkness. I’ll never tell you, because you are not worthy of knowing at all. But the games that we played against each other are now coming to an end and one of us will fall. Believe me when I tell you, Mark, you will be the one falling when our score is settled by my hand raised in victory.

And now, here you are, going to desperate measure one more time. You are trying to bring home court advantage into our final confrontation. A vicious brawl that will happen throughout London. Is this how you see it? That just because you know London like the back of your hand that it will suit your needs in our fight? You are sadly mistaken, Mark. I’ve traveled the world a thousand times over and been to London many times before. Already, I can imagine me chasing you to the top of the Tower Of London, to be greeted with weapons scattered all over the floor. Or why not take each other at the Westminster Abbey, with the public watching on, fascinated by the battle and the violence it spills across the streets of London? It doesn’t matter where go, Mark Ward. You know why? Because no matter how far you try to run away from me or how hard you try to hide from me, I will always find you. I will be the living nightmare that you cannot escape from and at its conclusion, you will suffer a worst fate then I’ve given to most men in my lifetime. London is the perfect playground for your untimely demise and when I’m finished with you, I’ll be taking over the keys you possess and walk back into the kingdom and the only threat I’ll be dealing with is your partner, Christain Underwood, who is also in grave danger. For now, I’ll deal with him later. Today, it’s all about you and how you will pay dearly for everything you’ve done against me.

This is going to be the easiest victory I’ve ever achieved in my career and it’s really all thanks to you, Mark. You want to put me, the king of kings, in his place at his own game. How easily you will fail, because I know all the tricks involved. I’ve studied the art of fighting a lot longer than you ever hoped to in your lifetime and know how the game is played. I’ve been involved in this arena for as long as I can remember, so you are about to face the biggest adversary in your career and you will die trying to end him. You will lose in the hardest match of your worthless career, because I hold all the cards and I’m ready for every move that you make. It will be a fun, delightful adventure, chasing your sorry ass around London and destroying you at every turn. I’m like a monstrous cat toying with its prey, a helpless, weak mouse that tries to scurry to safety, only to be caught by its paw and held in the air, the mouse screaming for mercy, the cat giving none in return. I expect that you’ll try to surprise me somewhere in all this, but I’m ready for anything you try to throw at my way. I’m the king of this world, Mark Ward, and a king will gladly put his subjects into place. You, on the other hand, are different. You try to surpass me, attempting to break me down, thinking that you were better than me in every respect. Trust me when I tell you, Mark Ward; you will always be a coward that will never be better than a god, a demon, a king, such as I, Kain...THE KING OF KINGS!

London Brawling will prove to be a sight for the ages. No one in the world, from the nagging critics to the unintelligent fanbase, will ever forget the blood and carnage that I unleash upon Mark Ward. No one will forget how Kain stood up to a corrupted madman, brave enough to annihilate him and take over the throne for his own. And no one will ever forget the legend that he continues to create in epic matches like these, a myth that everyone will continue to be talking about long after his death. I am the greatest fighter in the world, Mark Ward, the most complete combatant on this Earth. No one can compare to the power and might I wield, Mark Ward. You’ve been a doomed man since the beginning, boy, long before you attacked me. I had plans to go after you anyway, but you took out the gun and pulled the trigger changing everything for me. Now you’ve made it quicker and easier for me to finish what I started since my arrival. I’m going to enjoy humiliating you in your hometown, Mark. I’m going to enjoy watching you suffer, watching you bleed like a stuck pig, every bone in your body crushed, your spirit totally broken and unwilling to heal. This is going to be the longest night of your life, Mark, and I won’t stop until my thirst for vengeance is fully quenched and I feel nothing but ultimate satisfaction. I hope you are prepared to meet your inevitable destruction at my whim, Mark, because in the end...everything you do against me will be for nothing. After London Brawling, there will be no more doubt, no more questioning. I am the biggest badass in town and you simply don’t have a chance in hell in defeating me.

No chance at all...
