THURSDAY, DECEMBER 27, 2018.
2:45 P.M.

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

Tallyn sighs as she walks into her family’s house and sets her purse and bag down. It had been an exhausting day working at the park and now she only had about an hour and a half to shower and get ready to go to her night job. Sometimes, having two jobs really sucked but she liked the extra money and it helped keep her siblings afloat when their father was too busy to remember that they needed food. It wasn’t that he wouldn’t give them money if they asked, they just didn’t want to ask. They felt that they bothered him and that he was too busy to even care.

THEO: “Tal? Is that you?”

Tallyn frowns as she hears Theo shout from where she assumed he was in the living room. She sighs before walking into the living room to see Theo holding an uneasy look on his face and she didn’t realize why until she looked around the corner to see their mother, Athena standing there.

TALLYN: “What the fuck are you doing here?”

She didn’t care if she was blunt or not. And she also didn’t care that Athena was their mother; to Tallyn, all she was was the woman who gave birth to them.

ATHENA: “Watch your mouth, Tallyn Arielle. I am still your mother.”

Tallyn lets a cold laugh slip from her lips as she looks her “mother” over.

TALLYN: “No you’re just some bitch who gave birth to me and my siblings.”

Tallyn watches as her “mother” clenches her jaw, clearly not liking Tallyn’s words of choice. But Tallyn didn’t care what her mother liked or disliked, she just wanted to know why the hell she was in the house.

TALLYN: “So are you going to tell me why the fuck you’re in this house? Or are you going to leave?”

Tallyn points to the door before looking at her mother.

ATHENA “Is it so wrong of me to want to see my children, Tallyn!? You act like I’m a horrible person!”

Tallyn groans and lets her head fall back as she looks to the ceiling.

TALLYN: “You ARE a bad fucking person, Athena! You are not a good person and fucking aren’t a good mother! I don’t know why you think that you can just come back here like you own the house! Jesus! Grow the fuck up, Athena. So tell me what you really want so I can not see your face again.”

Their mother just looks at Tallyn and then over to Theo, who just shrugs his shoulders. He was indifferent towards their mother but also held a little bit of resentment toward her.

ATHENA “I...just wanted to see you guys.”

Tallyn groans audibly again, realizing that their “mother” wasn’t just going to spit it out. Tallyn folds her arms over her chest and gives her mother a dirty look. She knew that her mother wanted something, but she didn’t know what.

TALLYN: “Well, you saw me and you saw Teddy, you can fucking leave now.”

Athena frowns a little at Tallyn again before she looks to Theo, hoping for a bone. Or something that could resemble some hope for her case.

ATHENA “I haven’t seen Tessie or Tatey yet…”

Tallyn rolls her eyes.

TALLYN: “Good because every time you do stop by every eight to ten months, you mess with her head and she’s fucking brat for two weeks after you’ve ditched us again. And her fucking name is Tesla, she’s not a baby anymore. And don’t get me started on Tatum..”

Tallyn spit the words out as if they were poisonous for her to say. Athena just sits on the the love seat that was across from the chair, looking at her oldest child.

ATHENA “I know my childrens’ name, Tallyn. I birthed them and gave each of you your names…”

Tallyn lets another laugh slip from her lips as she looks at her mother. She runs her fingers through her blonde locks as she walks over and stands between her and Theo. Theo got out of school every day around 2:30 and it was only 2:45 pm, meaning that both Tesla and Tatum would be home in about twenty-five minutes or so. Tallyn really wanted their “mother” to be gone by then.

TALLYN: “Wow!!  Surprise, surprise. You actually know our names. That might actually be a first, Athena.”

Athena looks at Tallyn, an irritated look on her face.

ATHENA “I am your mother, Tallyn Arielle! You should not be calling me by my first name.”

TALLYN: “My mother?! You think that you’re my mother!? A mother is a person who fucking takes care of her fucking kids! What the fuck have you done in the past nineteen years of my life!? Or the last seventeen years of Teddy’s life!? Or better yet, the last fucking TEN years of Tatum’s life!?”

Tallyn was full out shouting at Athena by now.

TALLYN: “I was only ten years old when you had Tatum, Athena. But I was the one who took care of her when you fucking ran off to do who the fuck knows what. I changed her diapers, I fed her her bottles, I walked her to daycare when our father was supposed to be sleeping or at the hospital. I raised her, not you but you waltz back in every so often and she thinks you’re back for fucking good. And then when you leave, her world crashes down around her and me and Teddy have to pick up the fucking pieces and glue her back together.”

Tallyn takes a breath as she stares at Athena, who just looked back at her and held a smirk on her own face, as if she knew something that Tallyn didn’t. Tallyn looks at Theo, who shrugs his shoulders as he wasn’t sure what Athena was getting at.

ATHENA “I...you….”

Athena stumbled over her words as she tried to confront her daughter about what she’d said but Athena couldn’t argue with Tallyn, because Tallyn was right. Tallyn had taken care of Tatum when she was little and made sure that she got what she needed.

TALLYN: “Exactly. Now tell me what the fuck you’re doing here.”

Athena smirks as she glances up at the clock and then almost like clockwork, Tallyn’s father Wilder walked into the house. Tallyn frowns as her father was almost never home this early. Tallyn shares another uneasy look with Theo before looking at the doorway as her father walks into the living room.  He looked tired and Tally knew that he’d been up for a while doing surgeries and rotations and whatever else came with the job as a surgeon.

WILDER: “Athena, what is so important that you made me leave the hospital?”

Even his voice sounded tired and drawn out a bit. Tallyn knew that if he was going to get mad, it was going to be a blow out. Tallyn shoots a dirty look at her mother, as Athena sat there with a gloating look on her face as if she was about to win some big prize or as if she knew a secret that  Tallyn didn’t know. Tallyn looked over at her father, who looked utterly exhausted from his long hours that he put in at the hospital.

ATHENA: “I just...I found something out, Wild, and I thought you’d want to know.”

Tallyn looks over at her mother before looking at her father. She was not sure what was going to come out of her egg donor’s mouth. Tallyn runs a hand through her blonde locks as Theo, too seemed unsteady about things that were happening.

WILDER: “What? Whatever it is, spit it out because I don’t have the patience or the time to deal with your bullshit today, Athena. I sent you money last month, I’m not sending you anymore.”

Tallyn hated hearing that her father was still sending her mother money and so often to leave money for his children to have food. She didn’t hate her father but sometimes, she felt as if she could. Sure, he provided a good house for his kids and made sure the necessities that it took to have a house were paid. But when it came to groceries, clothes, or personal hygiene necessities? He often forgot about those and it was left on her.

ATHENA: “Do you know what our daughter has been doing to make money, Wilder?”

Tallyn’s face goes pale white as she realizes just what her mother was about to do. She looks at Theo, who shakes his head.

WILDER: “...She works at Disney World, Athena. I already know that because she tells me. Is that really why you came here? To throw a fit that Tally is working at Disney World?”

Tallyn could hear the exhaustion in her father’s voice as he tried to keep his patience with Athena but she could tell he was growing even more exasperated with Athena’s bullshit. But she didn’t know how to stop Athena from spouting off her evening job.

TALLYN: “Cant you just make her leave, Dad? Tatum and Tesla are going to be home soon and I really don’t think they should see her.”

She tried to keep the desperation out of her voice as she looked at her father. Theo seemed on edge as well.

ATHENA: “Your daughter is working at a strip club, Wilder.”

The news of Tallyn’s night job being out in the open and what it was, seemed to wake her father up. Tallyn watches his face as the realization of what she did in the evenings hits him. She looks at Theo and then back at her father.

WILDER: “Tally, is this true?”

He turns to look at her and she looks at her feet as she tries to think of a legitimate excuse of why she was working at such a place. But there was nothing that could be said of it.

TALLYN: “Yes…”

Wilder rubs his face with his right hand, trying his hardest to keep calm and Tallyn can see that he was doing so.

WILDER: “Why!? Don’t I provide you with enough money?”

The fact that he was clueless was enough to make Tallyn shake her head, her anger beginning to take over her emotions.

TALLYN “What money!? Dad, you may pay all the house bills, the electric bills, the internet, the satellite bills, but I buy everybody’s clothes and necessities. I buy the groceries because you forget to. And I should ask you for the money, but I always feel like I’m a pain in your side when I ask for it. So, it was just easier to get another job to make sure that the fridge and pantry was always stocked. Or that Tesla and Tatum had enough clothes to get through the day. And so that Tatum doesn’t have to wear too small shoes because her feet are still growing! It was just easier.”

She knew it wouldn’t be something that he’d want to hear but she couldn’t hold it back anymore. Her father would have definitely given her the money but she didn’t want to bother him because he spent the majority of his time at the hospital. He was always so busy and she didn’t want to feel like her and her siblings were a burden, so she took on the task of financially supporting them. She put her dreams of wrestling on hold, and was there for her siblings because who else would have been?

WILDER: “Easier!? It was easier to get a job taking your clothes off for some low-class men!?”

She knew that he would be angry about her choice in a job but she didn’t think of it to be as bad as he was making it out to be. He didn’t understand the things that it took to make sure that her siblings were well fed and dressed well enough to not be made fun of at school. And that was her goal; it wasn’t to make sure that her father’s ego or pride wasn’t something she felt that she needed to worry about.

TALLYN: “Are you ever here, Dad? And yes, I know that you sleep here most nights but are you ever really present in any of these kids’ lives!? No, you’re not. You don’t even know that Teddy has been on the honor roll every year since he got into high school or that he has the highest GPA in his class.  Do you know that Tesla is really good at drama club and has gotten the lead in the play every semester? Do you know that Tatum loves to play softball and works every day to get better at the sport? I work my ass off at Disney World and at the club so that those three can do their absolute best and not worry about whether or not we’re going to have food in the fridge or on the shelves.”

Her father didn’t seem to be anymore happier with her response than the previous one.  He rubs his face a little, trying to clear his head as Tallyn stands there, a little out of place.

WILDER: “Theo, Tesla, and Tatum are my kids, Tallyn. You do not have to take care of them.”

Tallyn could hear the restraint in his voice and she could tell that he was trying to keep his anger in check. But she didn’t care; he didn’t know one thing about any of them and she was going to be damned if he told her how she was going to live her life.

TALLYN: “Tell me ONE thing about any of them, Dad. Tell me Teddy’s favorite color or Tesla’s best friend’s name or even, Tatum’s favorite color because I bet you fucking can’t. You’ve never been there for any of us and I had to give up a full ride to the University of Miami so that somebody could be present in their lives. Because we all know that it isn’t going to be you; your job as a surgeon is much more important than some kids you had with some used up bitch who prefers drugs over her kids.”

He clenches his jaw as Tallyn spouts off at him and Athena sits there with a smirk on her face. Tallyn knew that she probably pushed her father too far but she didn’t care. It had to be said because he needed to wake up and realize that his kids were going to grow up with or without him in their lives and she only hoped that he realized what a mistake he had made in choosing his job over them.

WILDER: “Get your shit and get out, Tally. I won’t have you living here anymore and talking to me like that and working at that whore house.”

Her whole body seemed to go numb as his words sank in and she looks at him, in surprise. She had never expected him to actually kick her out. But yet, here he was doing it anyways.

WILDER: “Now, Tallyn. Go pack a suitcase and leave. I’ll give you money to get a hotel but that’s it.”

Her “mother” sat there on the couch with a smug look on her face as Theo stood up and hugged Tallyn. Tallyn hugged Theo back before she turned and ran upstairs, the tears in her eyes threatening to spill down her face. She refused to let him see her cry; it wasn’t something he deserved. She shoved as much of her clothes in a suitcase before getting to her make up and hair things and making sure she could get the most of those as well. She grabs another suitcase and packs it with her shoes and anything else she saw fit. She hesitates, seeing her blanket from when she was a kid and grabs it and throws it in her suitcase as well before going downstairs to see her mother hugging Theo. Tallyn clenches her jaw and grabs the money that her father hands her.

TALLYN: “You’re making a mistake, Dad. Theo is set to graduate in May and he won’t be sticking around like I did.”

She didn’t let her father get another word in as she walked out of the house and pulled her things behind her. She already had a place in mind and it wasn’t in Florida; instead it was in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was something she’d had her eyes on for over a year.

MONDAY, MARCH 2, 2020.

Tallyn sighs as she looks at her phone before looking around the training center as it was pretty empty. She never felt more at ease anywhere else in the world except for in Gabriel and Odette’s training center. She knew she was meant to do this and the way it was going only made things that much better. She jumps when she hears the front doors open and then slam shut. She waits but doesn’t seem anybody enter the gym.

TALLYN: “Anybody there?”

She turns around slowly, looking around the gym as a slightly eerie feeling starts to fill her stomach. She had never not felt safe in the gym and had thought it to be one of the safest places in Las Vegas.

TALLYN: “This isn’t funny…”

She feels arms wrap around her from behind and she screams before doing a defensive move and tossing the person to the ground. She turns around quickly and relaxes when she sees her brother, Theo laying on the ground in slight pain. Or what looked to be in slight pain but he also held an amused look on his face.

TALLYN: “Teddy!”

She was surprised to see him. For siblings, they were more like best friends and she hadn’t seen him in person since her father kicked her out fourteen months ago. She helps Theo up and hugs him. She felt her heart beat faster against her chest as she hugs him, a smile spread across her face.

THEO: “Jeez, Tally....try to kill me, why don’t you?”

Tallyn blushes a little but lets go of Theo to look him over before hugging him again. She missed her siblings and only wished that her father would see eye to eye with her. It wasn’t as if she didn’t talk to him; he messaged her about eight months ago, apologizing for being rash and had wanted her to return home but she couldn’t. She loved wrestling and just didn’t want to give anything else up.

TALLYN: “I’m sorry! But I didn’t expect you to be here. What are you doing here, Teddy?!”

Theo smiles at her and shoves his hands in his jeans pockets before shrugging his shoulders. She was surprised and it was a good surprise. It actually couldn’t have come at a better time, if she was honest.

THEO: “I transferred to UNLV. I thought we could actually be brother and sister again. And before you ask, Tesla and Tatum really miss you. And Dad does too.”

TALLYN: “I miss them too…Except for Dad, I don’t miss him.”

She gives him a small smile as the admission slips from her lips. There wasn’t anything wrong with admitting that she missed her sisters. But she didn’t need that brought up right now, not when she was working hard to be ready for the Blast From the Past Tournament. It only made her sad to think about her sisters growing up without her in their lives. She wanted to see Tesla graduate high school and maybe one day become famous. She hoped that Tatum was still as into softball as she was over a year ago. But she couldn’t think about that; it wasn’t what she needed to focus on at the moment.

TALLYN: “Do you want to go to York, England with me?  I have my first official match this Sunday and I would really like it if I had a familiar face there.”

Tallyn seemed a little on edge as she watches him and waits for his answer. She knew that he would probably agree to go as he wouldn’t disappoint her. She shouldn’t be worried about it but yet, here she was waiting for his answer. She had become her own person since moving to Las Vegas. Things weren’t always great and she had some weird roommates but she was making it on her own. She didn’t need to rely on her Daddy’s money or her good looks to make something out of herself. But she did miss the friendship she had with her brother.

THEO “Of course I’ll be there for you, Tal. You were always there for me. Plus, I get an opportunity to use my passport.”

Tallyn smiles before hugging her brother again, feeling a lot more at ease than what she was before. The next six days were going to be a whirlwind and she only had a little time to prepare for them.</text align=right> </p align=”Right”>

FRIDAY, MARCH 6, 2020
2:45 P.M.
LOCATION: CLIFFORD’S TOWER, YORK.

<text align=right> <p align=”Right”>

The scene opens up to Clifford’s Tower Castle in York, England. The camera was zoomed out enough to show the entire building before it moves in to see Tallyn sitting on the top of the building, her legs dangling over the edge. She was sporting a pair of jeans and a crop top that showed her midriff. If the camera moved closer, the goosebumps on the young girl’s skin would be seen due to the chilly, England weather. The weather in York, England was vastly different from the weather in Las Vegas, Nevada and it was safe to say that Tallyn had gotten quite used to the warm climate that the desert brought her in Vegas. She hadn’t thought to pack warmer clothes and was vastly unprepared for the chilly weater.

TALLYN: “On Sunday, it’s going to be my first match ever.  In SCW and in the wrestling community. My first match in the Blast From the Past tournament. AND my first ever tag team match.”

She smiles at the camera before pushing her blonde locks out of her face. The wind every now and then picked up and blew her hair back into her face, which was a mild annoyance but nothing that she couldn’t handle.

TALLYN: “There’s going to be a lot of firsts happening this weekend, for me at least.”

She hesitates, that new nervousness still settled there. But she was going to be determined to make sure that her newbie status wasn’t going to stick. She’d been training for over a year and she believed that she was ready for her first ever match.

TALLYN: “But you know what won’t be a first?”

A cold, calculated look passes over her face as she looks into the camera. It was a look of confidence, her nerves starting to wear off as she got used to the camera more and more.

TALLYN: “Bobbie Dahl losing and then bitching about it on Twitter. And threatening to quit.  Again.”

Tallyn shrugs her shoulders at the camera.

TALLYN: “Whining and bitching, whining and bitching on Twitter again and again. Because that’s what she does; that is her trademark move and that is exactly what everybody expects out of her. But since when does whining and bitching get you everything that you ever wanted? I wasn’t aware that that was what one had to do to get what they wanted. I thought you had to put in actual work to get somewhere.  Silly me.”

She laughs before rolling her eyes.

TALLYN: “And I’m sure she’ll whine and bitch about me bringing it up on Twitter or hell, even in a segment on Sunday but you know what? If she doesn’t want people bringing it up, maybe she shouldn’t threaten to quit when she realizes she isn’t as great as she thinks she is.”

She holds an unapologetic look on her face but then looks around, trying her best not to shiver before she puts her full focus on the camera.

TALLYN: “And I know I don’t have a right to talk about her win loss record when I myself do not have one yet. But then again, she shouldn’t be such a big, whiny bitch about it. But what has she really accomplished in SCW since she joined? Other than being the one big bitch that nobody can really tolerate.”

She makes a face of disgust before leaning back, placing her hands behind to embrace her upper weight.

TALLYN: “Did she honestly think that she was going to beat Roxi Johnson at My Bloody Valentine? Because from what I’ve heard and understand, Roxi Johnson is one of the hardest competitors to face in the ring because of how dedicated she is in that ring. Is that me knocking Bobbie Dahl’s talent in the ring? No, not at all. But her personality?”

Tallyn makes a disgusted face and then sticks her finger in her mouth to imitate the look of disgust.

TALLYN: “It really needs some work. Or a tune up, even.”

She pauses as she looks up at the dreary sky before focusing back at the task at hand.

TALLYN: “And don’t think that I have forgotten about that little stunt you pulled on Odette weeks ago on Climax Control. I warned you at My Bloody Valentine that you’d get what was coming to you. And while I didn’t think that we’d meet up this early in the tournament, I’m rather glad that we did.”

A smirk and a slightly sinister look appears in her eyes.

TALLYN: “Because what I am going to do to you in that ring, Dahl, is going to make what you did to Odette look like child’s play. I mean, everybody understands that you’re jealous of Odette because look what she’s got going for her. . .”

Tallyn smirks again, that same look staying in her brown eyes.

TALLYN: “She has a great family and everybody likes her. She’s kind and patient and beautiful. She has amazing kids. And she has one of the top rated training centers right now that is bringing out top tier talent. What more could somebody want in a mentor?”

Tallyn raises an eyebrow at the camera.

TALLYN: “And then there’s you, Bobbie Dahl…”

She makes an uncomfortable face, as if it pained her to talk about Bobbie Dahl.

TALLYN: “You aren’t even remotely attractive. You look like a fish out of water and as if you don’t belong in such an elite place like SCW. You don’t have a family that everybody adores and you don’t have any qualities that I would consider remotely redeeming. So maybe it makes a little sense as to why you chose to attack Odette. Jealousy is an ugly monster and it isn’t doing you any favors, Bobs.”

The wind picks up a little and blows Tallyn’s hair in her face and she once again pushes it back out of her face.

TALLYN: “Do I think that I can beat you, Bobs? Of course. But you know, this match isn’t just about me and you, Bobsie….it’s a tag team match. I have to rely on Jack Washington to be able to get the job done when he’s in the ring with that retired Casey Williams….”

She holds a slightly anxious look on her face, for just a split second as if trusting somebody else with getting the win was that painful.

TALLYN: “I have to trust that Jack is just as good in the ring as I am sure that I am. I have to trust that he wants the win just as much as I do. That’s what you do; you have to put trust in your partner throughout this entire tournament to go anywhere.”

Admittedly, she had trust issues. She knew that but she had come to trust Gabriel and Odette, she was sure that she could come to trust Jack if she had to.

TALLYN: “Can you trust Casey Williams, Bobsie?”

Tally raises an eyebrow with a smirk on her face.

TALLYN: “Can you put every ounce of faith you have, no matter how little you have in him? Can you honestly say that you’re going to walk to the ring on Sunday night and believe that you and him can work as a team, as a unit?”

She smirks at the camera, her eyes twinkling with a slight mischievous look in them.

TALLYN: “Because what I’ve seen from you and have heard about you, you’re nothing but a big, selfish bitch. And you can’t seem to see past your nose to see the bigger picture.”

She shrugs her shoulders.

TALLYN: “But hey, I’m new...what do I know?”

Another shrug rolls off of her shoulders with ease.

TALLYN: “I believe in Jack and that’s he can handle the old bag of bones that is Casey Williams. I need not worry about Casey; I’m going to leave that to Jack. Put all of my trust in Jack to be able to get the job done while I focus on you, Bobsie.”

She gives the camera an overly fake sweet smile.

TALLYN: “Because that’s just the kind of person I am, Bobsie. I’m going to make you regret ever laying a hand on Odette Stevens. And I’m going to make both her and Gabriel proud in one full swoop of things.”

She stands up and dusts her hands off.

TALLYN: “It’ll be almost like you were never in this tournament. THAT’S how fast you’ll be done with this Blast From the Past.”

She hesitates before turning back to look at the camera.

TALLYN: “I almost can’t wait to see you bitch about another loss on Twitter and another title opportunity lost.  Almost.”

She winks at the camera before walking away to get down from the top of the castle building and get back to the warmth of her hotel room.
