SCW GM In a Wrestling Match?
« on: February 28, 2020, 11:57:02 PM »

The scene opens up in a small office room. The window curtains are open, allowing the natural light to reflect throughout the white walls in the room. On top of a 70's vintage mahogany wooden desk, We see a pair of women’s hands as she is typing on a laptop, to her left her an  iPhone as we hear it going off. To her right a Samsung phone that's also going off.

The camera’s pan around for us to see that it’s Sin City Wrestling, General Manager Brooke Saxon. We see Brooke wearing a blue top, her long blond hair hanging freely over her shoulders.

Brooke stops typing then looks at her phones to shuts them off. She looks at the camera and smiles.

Brooke: Every year SCW has the Blast From The Past Tournament. Every year, the bombshell fills all 16 spots before the men are even aware that SCW has opened the tournament. This year, that ‘s not the case. This year, I had to step up and take the last spot. My other choices? Force someone until the tournament… Maybe, but what fun is that?

Brooke brushes her hair behind her ears.

Brooke: So now here I stand, someone with the least experience in this tournament. However, it needed to be done, so now what’s expected of me in this tournament. Does Brooke want to be the next champion? I mean, that’s what this is about for everyone who signed up right? No, not everyone, I have no desire to be a champion in SCW, if I had that mentality then I would have shown Mr. Ward some of my MMA matches. I didn’t do that because getting in the ring is something I’d rather not do.

Brooke leans back on her chair.

Brooke: See, believe it or not, some grow up wanting to be in the wrestling business, but not as a wrestler, just as someone in the back that helps make everything go smoothly. But when something jeopardizes that and you get pinned to a corner.

Brooke nods as she looks at the camera.

Brooke: Discussions have to be made that you don’t normally make. It comes with the territory in my line of work, normally it would involve me having a put somebody in a match that maybe they didn't deserve. Or, having to use a sports venue in a particular location which I felt may not have been the best place for the most profit to be made that week.

Tackle on the duties of making sure all of the sports venues across the world in which we’ll be traveling to this year goes off without a hitch. From contract signings, to contract releases, to making sure Donna has her SCU bookings together for the SCW supershows.

Brooke gets up from her chair, she walks around the desk. We see that she’s wearing a black pants with matching blue heels. She sits on top of the desk.

Brooke: The list goes on and on, so believe me when I say that the last thing I dreamed about adding to my busy life was to enter a tournament. Shame on me for thinking, Mercedes Vargas, Charlotte Elliot, Apple Coren, Iron Maiden, Keria Fisher, Mackenzie Page, Seleana Zdunich, Twisted Sister, Violet Holt or any other Bombshell in the locker room sign up for this.

To those who did sign up, the SCW fans thank you.

Brooke takes a deep breath.

Brooke: So now I found myself in round one of this tournament. The thing is, who I face doesn’t even matter. A newly crowd mix tag team champion, or a former bombshell champion, it’s all the same. Everyone expects Brooke to get handed a beat down. It makes the most sense, I get it.

Brooke can’t help but let out a little laugh.

Brooke: Hell, I’m even okay with everyone thinking that. I know I would if someone told me a staff personal who doesn’t get in the ring is facing someone that wrestles weekly. Yet, here I stand, well I’m sitting right now but you know what I mean.

Brooke gets up to stand anyways.

Brooke: The teams are drawn at random and so many had something negative to say about who they wanted to be partners with or who they got selected with. It’s really simple, if you feel SCW employees people that you feel are not worthy to be your partner because you don't think they have what it takes to cut it in the ring, then tough shit for you.

Brooke leans over to close her laptop.

Brooke: As for me, It doesn't matter who I got partnered with, it doesn't matter who I face in the ring. At the end of the day, none of that changes the game plan on how I plan on going about this tournament. No one's coming into this wanting to lose, so if your focus is to win this thing then just focus on that and forget about everything else.

Brooke walks to the other side to get her laptop bag. She places her laptop in the bag and closes it up.

Brooke: So this week my focus is on Johanna Krieger. Like all the other bombshells, I’m not a wrestler to her I’m sure. Before SCW she was fighting trained combat fighters like myself so to her this is anything new. I hope however her arrogance doesn’t get the best of her again. Last time she was in a SCW ring with a combat style of a fighter, she didn’t win as she thought she would. Song forced a time limit draw.

Brooke shrugs

Brooke: I’m trained like she is, like you are. Unlike you however, I don’t get in the ring. Like Song, I’ll be stepping foot in a ring after a long time away. Now you face someone a bit similar in style. That said we both understand that the pressure is on you the new Mix Tag Team Champion to come through and walk out victorious in this match-up.

Brooke grabs her bag and places it on her shoulder as she starts to walk out of her office but grabs a duffel bag on the way out.

Brooke: While we both have partners that can play a factor in this match. Your focus needs to be on the only opponent you will be facing in this match and that’s me. It’s going to be all about what you and I do in the ring.

Brooke gets in the elevator and hits the button to go down to the second floor.

Brooke: Don’t let your arrogance or your cockiness get in the way of a good match-up. Don’t underestimate me just because I am the boss who doesn’t get in the ring or on TV or that matter.

Brooke gets to the second floor, as soon as you step out the elevator you enter a workout gym. Brooke walks along the wall on the left to head to the locker rooms to change into her workout gear.

Brooke: You see I understand that the reason I entered the tournament is because I needed to fill the last spot. I understand that I don't do this every week like you and all of the other Bombshells that are competing in this tournament. However, don't think for a second I signed up for this not physically able to hold my own in the ring, don't expect somebody who's just going to go in there and not know what they're doing. There's a difference between a professional who does it every week and someone who’s trained and has competed in a different form of combat competition.

Brooke gets to the locker room door but then stops.

Brooke: All in all, I wish everyone in this tournament, including my opponent the best of luck. Win or lose I want to see the best competition that this company has to offer and this year's tournament. And it's going to start with us and the partners given to us Joanna. We're the ones that are opening this tournament, it’s up to us to start the match for our teams and set the bar for everyone to try and follow. Now if you excuse me.

Brooke opens the locker room door as the camera fades out.
