Off Camera
Everything comes into focus and as it does we are treated to what looks like a recording studio of some sort and it is there where we are able to see Teddy Steele smiling as he has his Most Hated Of The Year trophy sitting on the counter. He smiles as he looks at it and his wife Kate smirks as she walks over in a very tight tube top and matching diamond designed yoga pants. She grins as she plants a kiss on his lips and he smirks running his hands through his long hair. He slowly gazes into her eyes.
“Isn’t it amazing?! I mean just look at that gorgeous trophy. I basically got heel of the year. I am one of the best of the best and hated by all. It’s funny considering just a few months ago we were losing to the likes of the Metal Maniacs and in that time we turned it around…”
“You mean you turned it around. I wish things got better for me but in that time I basically lost every single match. I lost all of my big matches. I got beat over and over again. Even though some of the matches were of course planned to go along with the acting of being Diamond. It still sucks feeling that I didn’t achieve what I had set out to do…”
Teddy chuckles as he shakes his head. His eyes never leave that of Kate as he embraces her into a long passionate hug.
“Well you sacrificed what you were doing to make me look good. You may not have won like you wanted to win but in the process I became one of the most over men in all of wrestling. I became the Roulette Champion and I got this trophy in addition. I had a lot of goals I wanted to accomplish and you helped me with all of them Kate. Since I got what I wanted it’s time to decide what we are going to do next in the wrestling world.”
Kate crosses her arms as she shakes her head in disgust.
“What can we do next?! You lost your championship and I am nowhere near where I need to be in order to pick things up. Wrestling really seems to suck right now and I can’t see how we can make things get better…”
Teddy smirks as he looks back at his wife with a wicked grin on his lips. He paces around for a bit as he looks deeply into her eyes.
“Who said anything about wrestling. This was never about wrestling. You see in the beginning we talked up getting me respect and I think we accomplished that. We need to think outside the box and we need to gain much more than. Anybody can wrestle just look at that Senor Vinnie idiot! Then again not like he means anything considering Alex is going to take the title from him but you know what’s more important than wrestling? Fashion, fame, glamor and of course the glitz… Wrestling may not be working out for you Kate but you are one of the richest women in all of wrestling. You own a company now with the way we took over Crystal’s meaningless company. You got money to spend and add that in with what you got from when your grandmother died and I know it’s quite a bit of money. We need to use that money and use it to our advantage. We need to take it to the next level and we put more focus into the entertainment side of things the wrestling success will come…”
Kate just shrugs her shoulders as she looks back at her husband.
“And what type of things are you focused on?! Because I can’t see what could be better than wrestling…”
“Babe it’s no different than what you did for me. Remember when you told me I needed a makeover. When I did get that makeover it resulted in me having a great run in the wrestling world and people noticed me. I think we both could use a makeover to bring us to even new heights. You have been Kate Steele for quite some time but why don’t we change that up. How about you become what I was especially considering that Griffin kicked you out of the band. You can become the leader of the band that you always wanted to be.”
“You would give up the Gems that quickly?!”
“Look I enjoyed it but I was always a placeholder for you. This is your world. Besides I have my eye on something else…”
“That would be?!”
Teddy smirks as he shows Kate a piece of paper.and her eyes light up when she sees the paper.
“So the Golden Ring is going to hold a big Drag Queen contest… Sounds interesting but what does that have to do with…. OH MY GOD!!!”
Teddy smirks as he nods his head in agreement.
“Yep! I plan to enter which means I need to transform into something else entirely. I dominated the hair metal world and now it’s time to take over the drag queen world. I can come up with a new name among everything else and also use it as my wrestling persona on top of that. It’s going to be exciting! I get to wear even more makeup… Wigs, and blow up boobs. It doesn’t get any better than that and I can live out all of my fantasies… We could maybe team up and take over this mixed tag division but you need to fully transform into Diamond Steele. I am picturing a woman who changes her hair color every single week. I want you to be like Jem from the Holograms and we can hold tryouts for you to get a female band behind you. This is going to work. Even though I am hated the popularity will come whether people hate me or not. It’s all about the publicity and we will get that!”
“Fine I will do it… “
“You won’t regret it… Teddy was such a success so I know this will be as well..”
“Fine…. Let’s go on shall we?!”
On Camera
The cameras come into focus and as they do we are treated to the sight of Kate Steele with her newly dyed blue hair. She smirks as she is wearing something very colorful. She can’t help but spin around with a microphone in her hands as she looks deeply into the heart of the camera.
“Hello everyone you are going to get the full deal on Sunday but this will be the last time that you will ever see Kate Steele. Kate Steele just didn’t make the cut. She spent years working her ass off in SCW and for what exactly?! To be considering one bloody joke. To always be the bridesmaid and never the bride. I know it was probably a little shocking to see me under the mask of Diamond but I did everything I had to do in order to be there for my husband. That decision might not sit that well with people but at the end of the day I did what was best for me and my family.
I know it was rude to wear a mask and basically fool everyone into thinking that I was a damsel in distress. It was probably wrong to put everyone through that type of nonsense. It was wrong for me to use Griffin. Griffin you are one of my best friends and it just sucks that you had to be put through that. I know you felt bad for me especially considering you thought I was the abused husband but in all actuality I did what I did to support my husband. He wasn’t being respected. He really lost his confidence when we went into the ring with the likes of the Metal Maniacs. You don’t know how it felt to lose to a team such as them. We always thought we were destined for something else entirely but we dropped the ball before we really set out and went anywhere.
So when he lost his passion I came up with the idea for the entire thing. If you have someone to blame Griffin it’s me and I am sorry for everything. So you can hate me if you want. I am happy that we got to bond though in the time we had, and I am sorry you had to be a victim of what went down. You were just a casualty of war. While I know Teddy will take care of you my issue is with that of Alice.
Alice you had some nerve coming to Griffin’s aid. I remember the interrogation room where you knocked Teddy and I on my ass. You embarrassed me and if it wasn’t for you Teddy would still be the champion right now. We would still be enjoying our room as the Roulette Champion but you ruined it.
I never liked you when you were riding around in your little tour bus. You are filth and absolutely poor. I can’t stand the sound of the hoot hoot bullshit and it disgusts me. I will break you down and I will make quick work of this comeback of yours.
So you better bring a fight because I am knocking your ass down and form there I can be Diamond Steele for the rest of my time now. Bloody hail bitch!
