Get Over The Doubt
« on: September 27, 2019, 10:05:33 PM »
The more time that passes in which Bobbie and Artie aren’t speaking to or seeing one another, the more each of Bobbie’s friends want to intervene. A.K.A, Ty West and Fenris. But they remain at a safe distance, for now, waiting for the outspoken Bombshell to out her feelings for Artie herself. But she’s not taking the initiative. She’s been wasting time, possibly making it more difficult and perhaps impossible, to ever speak the truth to Artie.

When the tour had first started, she had no desire to be there. At least, not without Artie. But as time goes on, she’s finding ways to distract her from thinking about him and the mess she had caused, possibly destroying the friendship they had. One distraction she is taking advantage of at this moment, was meeting up with one half of the current Mixed Tag Team Champions, and new friend, Jack Asher.

Jack wasn’t well liked in SCW. That much Bobbie knew. But she didn’t care. He was a hunk in his own right and needed friends just as much as the next person. And while Bobbie would have loved the chance to roll around in the hay with him, so to speak, he now found himself happily taken by the lovely Jericho Pennington. And Bobbie wouldn’t dare come between that.

But she would try and help him out a bit. How? By giving the V-Card holder a bit of a pep talk!

Bobbie: You seem distracted, Jack-e boy! What’s on your mind, cutie?!

Jack took note of the slight return to Bobbie’s upbeat attitude. He was sitting alone in the back corner of the bar in Tortola, silently keeping an eye on his tag team partner, and Bobbie’s other friend, Emmie Ward. Bobbie had taken a break from dancing with Emmie and the surrounding patrons to walk back over to Jack and give him a bit of her time as well.

Jack: Distracted? No. I just prefer to watch, rather than participate in this sort of dancing.

Bobbie: Man, you need to live a little! Hell, I bet if that gorgeous girlfriend of yours was here, you’d be out there grinding all over her!

Bobbie cracks a smile, but Jack doesn’t. He adjusts his position in his chair awkwardly, and Bobbie immediately notices, taking a seat next to him.

Bobbie: Oh, hell, trouble in paradise already?! What’s going on?!

Jack shakes his head.

Jack: What? No, of course not. Everything is just fine with me and Jericho.

Bobbie: So what’s with the glum attitude when I mention grinding against her, then?!

Jack looks at Bobbie and lets out a sigh. He wasn’t comfortable with talking to her about this by any means, but as he didn’t have many guy friends, he had no other choice.

Jack: What gives is that I’m considering taking the next step with Jericho, and I don’t want to make a fool of myself.

Bobbie: Wait...what?! You’re gonna propose already?! Jack, that’s—

Jack has to immediately quiet her as she gets overly excited, way too soon.

Jack: What?! No! That’s not...Bobbie, I’m talk about…

He says the last part too quiet and she can’t hear him.

Bobbie: Huh? What was that? I couldn’t hear you?!

Jack: Oh for crying out loud. I’m talking about sex!

All eyes dart in their direction and Jack lowers his head, embarrassed. Bobbie lets out a bit of a laugh, but Jack does not share her amusement.

Bobbie: Thinking of finally cashing in that V-Card, huh? Well, I hate to break it to ya, Jack, but the first time is never all that great. It’s not supposed to be!

Jack: What? You can’t be serious. I don’t want it to ve terrible. I don’t want to scare her off.

Bobbie smiles and pats Jack on the back. He had a hard exterior at times, but he was well intentioned and she respected the hell out of him for it.

Bobbie: Look...The truth is that you’ll blow it in like two minutes the first time. You'll probably apologize to Jericho a million times but you'll feel a little dirty until things rise up again. After like, the third or fourth time, it will be so much better. I promise.

Jack stares at her, and raises an eyebrow.

Jack: So you didn’t save yourself for Artie, huh?!

Bobbie’s smile fades and she looks down, her eyes turning sad. Jack immediately regrets what he said.

Jack: Crap. I’m sorry. I didn’t mean…

Bobbie: No worries, Jack! I mean...I wish I had. Things might have turned out different if I had…

Before Bobbie knows it, her mind goes back to that time. It was years ago, but she’d never forget it. And oh, how she wishes she could go back and change it all.

Many Years Ago…

That was it? That was the earth shattering feeling that everyone had talked about experiencing their “first time”? Well wasn’t THAT disappointing. Maybe? Truth be told, Bobbie had no idea how she was really supposed to feel. She had waited for this moment for longer than others, but this certainly didn’t live up to the hype it was given.

“Are...you okay? You haven’t said anything..”

She didn’t know what to say, really. She liked Drew. She really did, but she was suddenly feeling a little...strange.

Bobbie: Huh? Oh...I’m good! That was...great!

Drew: Really? I mean...Sorry it didn’t last long. I just got overly excited, I think. But practice makes perfect, you know.

He winks at her, and she can’t help but crack a smile. That grin of his was what was so attractive to her, and many others.

Bobbie: Tempting, but...maybe not tonight?!

Drew: Hey, that’s cool with me. You’re in control, babe.

Keeping herself covered with the sheet, Bobbie sits up and searches for her clothes. Drew has already found his boxer shorts and slipped them on, jumping out of the bed. Bobbie couldn’t understand how a guy like Drew could ever go for a girl like her. Not that she was complaining, but she still had trouble understanding.

Once the two were fully dressed, Drew walked around the bed. They were in Bobbie’s room, as her parents had gone away for the week so she had the entire house to herself.

Drew: I better get going. I have to work in the morning. I’ll see you tomorrow night?

Bobbie: It’s a date! I know where to find you if that cute butt of yours isn’t back here tomorrow.

Drew grins as Bobbie winks at him. He walks up to her and kisses her on the forehead.

Drew: Don’t worry. I’ll be here right on schedule.

Bobbie smiles and as Drew heads out of her room, she spins around and gets a quick squeeze of his ass. He laughs and she walks him out of the house and watches him drive off. After he is out of sight, Bobbie looks across the street to Artie’s house. He, too, had watched as Drew drove away, coming to the conclusion of what had happened earlier. Bobbie simply waves to her best friend before disappearing back inside the house.

Drew would be in and out of the house over the course of the next few days, and Artie would say nothing, as it was her life to live as she saw fit. That is, until the day before her parents were set to return home, and as her best friend, he would need to be there for her.

Bobbie was sitting out on her front porch, her changed from the happy smile she had just the night before. Now, however, she had her head buried into her knees that were clutched close to her chest. Drew wasn’t there, and as Artie had looked across the street, noticing Bobbie all alone and in such a sad frame of mind, he immediately headed towards her.

Artie: W-what’s wrong? What happened?

Bobbie just shakes her head, refusing to look at him. She couldn’t. At least not until she felt like she could at least pretend to smile and be on.

Bobbie: Huh? Nothing, Artie. I’m...I’m good.

Artie: No, you’re not. I saw you wiping at your eyes from across the street.

She lets out a sigh and finally gives in, looking up at him. Indeed she was crying.

Bobbie: I’ll be fine, Artie. Promise.

Artie shakes his head and sits down next to her.

Artie: Lies. This has to do with Drew, doesn’t it?

Bobbie laughs, but the anger behind it is apparent.

Bobbie: It doesn’t matter, Artie. I don’t give a crap about Drew.

Artie: Could have fooled me with him being in and out of the house all week. You two...didn’t you?

Artie can’t even say the words. Bobbie just looks at him for a moment and nods slowly.

Bobbie: Yeah, we did. But it apparently meant more to me than it did to him! He was just using me for practice so he didn’t look the fool when he finally hooked up with Ashley Dayton.

Artie: Ashley Dayton? Wasn’t she…

Bobbie nods.

Bobbie: Yep. She hooked up with every guy she dated in high school, but has apparently changed her ways. Poor Drew didn’t want her to know he still had his V-Card, so he used me knowing I had a thing for him.

Artie: D-dang...I’m sorry…

Bobbie shakes her head and in a quick instant, she jumps up from the porch and looks down at him. She is now smiling and putting on a better front.

Bobbie: You know what. Don’t be. To hell with Drew. Ashley’s gonna find out he wasn’t that great in the sack anyway!

Artie: Uhh...ook. But you were just…

Bobbie: I’m hungry. What about you? Let’s go inside and I’ll order a pizza!

Bobbie took Artie by the hand and yanked him up off the stairs, dragging him inside the house.

Jack stares at Bobbie, shock written all over his face.

Jack: Geez, Bobs...I’m…

Bobbie: Don’t even say you’re sorry! It’s all in the past! I could care less about it! Besides, word back home is that after Drew and Ashley got married, she cheated on him their entire marriage and her kid ain’t his. Karma is quite the bitch!

Jack lets out a brief laugh and shakes his head.

Jack: Well...at least you got over it. And that memory should prove at least one thing to you…

Bobbie raises a questioning eyebrow, without even asking the question.

Jack: Artie clearly had a thing for you back then, despite you hooking up with someone else.

Bobbie quickly waves it off and stands up from her chair.

Bobbie: I’m gonna go and dance some more. You should join us!!

Jack: No, thanks. I’ll just sit here and watch. You go and have fun.

Bobbie shrugs before grabbing her drink from off the table and finishing it off in one gulp.

Bobbie: Your loss!

Bobbie then heads back out onto the dance floor as Jack just watches from afar. More importantly, he keeps an eye on his tag team partner, Emmie.

Later that night…

Bobbie is stumbles back into her hotel room, more than a little intoxicated. She has her phone in hand and she squints as she is texting away, giggling with a smile.

Bobbie- Arrrrrtttiiiee! I misss youuu! I knoww i’ma baaad person n shudda tod u hooww I feel, but plleeasee dnt hte me!

She hits the send button and then crashes down onto the bed, closing her eyes. The room was starting to spin, and all she wanted to do was sleep, but she had to wait for response from Artie. Just when she was thinking he wasn’t going to respond, her phone dings loudly and she holds it up to read the response. Only, it’s not from Artie. Because he was not the one she had texted. She had mistakenly sent the message to Ronnie…

Ronnie- WHY THE HELL ARE YOU TEXTING ME THIS LATE?! AND DON’T EVEN THINK OF TEXTING THAT TO ARTIE FOR REAL! HE WANTS NOTHING MORE TO DO WITH YOU! HE’S TOO GOOD FOR YOU AND HE’LL NEVER LOVE YOU!

Bobbie squints again and reads the message. After getting through the entire thing, she drops her phone onto the bedside table and holds her head.

Bobbie: Geez, twinkle tits! You didn’t need to yell!

She gets more comfortable in the bed and before too long she’s passed out and snoring away.

After Climax Control
Jack Asks for Help...And Bobbie asks??
**OFF CAMERA**

After Climax Control had ended, Jack Asher wasted little time in tweeting Bobbie about needing her help in regards to Emmie Ward. Bobbie was sure he was overreacting and assuming there was a problem when there was none, but she decided to give him the time to express his concerns and see if there was any way she could help.

Bobbie: You’re sure, Jack? I mean, she’s so young! Maybe she’s just living life and doing what most everyone her age does. Hell, I know I did the same!

Jack frowns but he nods. Bobbie had stepped away from Fenris and Ty for a little while so she could have a conversation with Jack.

Jack: I’m positive, Bobbie. All the signs are there. This isn’t just a phase. This isn’t just having fun. She has a real problem and she needs help. She needs our help.

Bobbie leans back in her seat. She folds her arms and thinks about everything he has just said to her. She hadn’t seen it. Hell, she still couldn’t, but Jack seemed to know what he was talking about. He seemed genuinely concerned and she wasn’t about to shrug it off and not do anything.

Bobbie: Well, if you’re absolutely sure. I just don’t want to accuse her of something if it ain’t true. I don’t want her mad at me.

Jack: It’s not accusing her of anything. It’s pointing out a problem. And if she gets mad, I’ll deal with it. I wouldn’t be saying any of this if I hadn’t gotten enough proof recently.

Bobbie nods and half shrugs.

Bobbie: Well alright then. You just let me know the time and the place and I’ll help in any way that I can.

Jack: Thank you. Really. And it will be soon, I just need to figure out the details

Bobbie nods and she looks behind her. Fenris and Ty are trying to get her attention back to them. She raises up her index finger signaling she’ll be just another moment, before she turns back to Jack.

Bobbie: Before I get back to my two favorite lover boys bac there, I have something I wanted to run by you.

Jack: Ok. Color me intrigued. What’s on your mind?

She wasn’t quite sure how she should say this, or even if she should, but she was going to anyway. The fact was, both were in a bit of a situation when it came to their love lives(or lack of in Bobbie’s case) and she might have a solution to that problem.

Bobbie: Well, I think I might have a way to help you with Jericho. And it might help me with Artie in the long run.

Jack arches his eyebrow, confused.

Jack: Interesting. How is that?

Bobbie: You don’t want to look like you’re clueless your first time with Jericho, so...why don’t you use me?

His jaw drops.

Jack: I’m sorry, what?

Bobbie: You heard me. Use me. Like Drew did. I won’t hold it against you. And no one has to know about it but us…

Jack laughs. He actually laughs and shakes his head, and when he realized Bobbie is being serious, his jaw drops again.

Jack: Bobbie, have you lost your mind? Look, I know you offered a while back, and I’m pretty sure you were just joking about that, but this? Wanting me to actually use you for practice?

He shakes his head.

Jack: I won’t do it. I have more respect for women than that, and I wouldn’t do that to Jericho. I’m strictly monogamous. You know that.

She nods, but she’s still hurt, judging by the look on her face.

Bobbie: So what if you were with Jericho? Would you still turn me down?

Jack: Bobs, what is this about? You said your idea would help you with Artie. How would that help you with Artie at all?

Bobbie: I don’t know. Just forget I even asked, all right?

She goes to stand up angrily, and head back to Fenris and Ty, but Jack stops her.

Jack: Now wait a minute. Sit down and tell me what is going on in that head of yours.

Bobbie: What’s the point? I don’t deserve any happiness. I’m not worthy of succeeding at anything, so just forget it.

Jack: Where the hell is that coming from?

Realizing he’s not giving up, she plops back down in her seat, folding her arms once again. A loud grunt is heard in the background and Bobbie just holds up her hand.

Bobbie: I can’t do any of this without Artie, Jack! I mean, I got lucky against Kate and Sierra. How the hell am I expected to go up against Sam at High Stakes and actually win if he’s not there? How am I gonna beat this new chick without him there? All I’ve heard is how good this chick is, even after two matches.

Jack sighs and shakes his head.

Jack: Not this stuff again, Bobbie. I thought you were past that.

Bobbie: I thought I was, too! And then I went and did something stupid…

Before Jack could ask, Bobbie pulls out her cell phone, bringing up her text history with Ronnie. She shows it to Jack and after shaking his head yet again, he frowns.

Jack: First off...learn to stay away from your phone when you’ve been drinking. Second, to hell with what Ronnie thinks. She doesn’t know the bond that you and Artie have.

Bobbie: Had. He won’t even talk to me!

Jack: And you’ve got several people offering to help with that situation. Look, I know you think you can’t do it without him, but you can, and you will. Get out of your own head already.

Bobbie takes in a deep breath and then lets out a long frustrated sigh.

Bobbie: I just keep screwing shit up, Jack! And if I lose to this chick next week, I know they’ll probably decide to put her in my match at High Stakes!

Jack: Why don’t you go out there and look into the crowd and imagine Artie is there? He might not be speaking to you, but I can almost guarantee he’ll be watching at home. Pretend he’s there. If you really think you need his support.

Fenris shouts at Bobbie from behind her, following by something in Icelandic. Bobbie was sure he had cussed at her, but she didn’t care.

Bobbie: I’ll have to figure something out. I just don’t know what I’ll do if I let myself get beat next week.

Jack: You’ll be fine. I’m sure Artie will come around soon enough.

Bobbie: I hope so. Well...I better get back to Fen and Ty. You can join us if you want.

Jack politely shakes his head.

Jack: Thanks, but I’ll pass. I’m going to start getting plans made for what we talked about earlier. I’ll let you know soon.

Bobbie nods and stands up, as does Jack. He pats her on the shoulder and she turns around to head back to Fenris and Ty, waiting for her.

“Ya know, I’ve got a BIG BONE to pick with a certain someone! Before I get down to business and address little miss Andrea Hernandez, I need to send a little message to the writer behind the scenes that gets out little show cards written up!

Look! I KNOW I’m fat! I KNOW I’m the biggest Bombshell on the roster! I get it! I’m not denying that, nor do I have a problem with that! What I DO have a problem with is it being used as the butt of a damn joke every single week! Is Jessie Salco writing the match previews or something?! Cut it out and start taking me seriously already! SHEESH!

Anyway! Where was I?  Oh...right! Climax Control Numero Two Hundred and Forty Nine! We’re another week closer to High Stakes IX and that much closer to my ONE ON ONE shot against Sam Marlowe! But before annnnnny of that happens, I’ve been given someone the bosses think is already a threat just two matches into her SCW career!

I’m talking about YOU Andrea Hernandez!

Look at that! Already making waves just two matches in! Betcha think you’re something special, huh?! So you beat Iron Maiden! Biiiiig whoop! Who hasn’t?! And you defeated Mercedes Vargas?! Yeahhh, several women have recently, yet she still thinks she’s got what it takes to beat Melody Grace at High Stakes.

I know what the bosses are doing putting you in a match against me. I know their plan and it’s not gonna work!! They’ve got you all sorted out for Roulette Title contention and IF by some chance you manage to beat me, they could very well change up that match at High Stakes and make it a triple threat! They won’t admit it, but I’m not stupid!

I’m also not gonna let that plan come to fruition! I don’t have a problem with a good challenge, but when I say I’m ready for a one on one opportunity for the Roulette Championship, I mean it!

I’m not denying you’re damn good, Andrea. I can see that much, but you need to stand back for a moment and let me do my thing, because I’ve had a whole hell of a lot of shit happen over the last month, and I’ve gotta turn it around! Climax Control Two Hundred and Fifty is a BIG milestone for SCW, and I don’t know if I have a match just yet, but if I don’t...well that means I NEED to win against you because I gotta head into High Stakes with a win!

Don’t get me wrong, Andrea. I like what I’ve seen of you so far, but I’m sure you understand where I’m coming from here. You understand why I’ve gotta beat you this week, right? I’ve had a lot of doubts in my own mind recently and it’s time to prove all the doubts WRONG, because it’s MY time, honey.

I’ve been a newbie before. Twice actually. I started out rough in my first go around in SCW, but when I made my return earlier this year, I came in like a damn wrecking ball! I was on an undefeated streak of four wins when Sam Marlowe finally ended that before Summer XXXtreme, but sorry to say you’re gonna come up just a liiiiiiiiitle short when it comes to that streak!

Don’t worry, though. I’m sure after this match, they’ll give you a decent opponent for High Stakes IX. I mean, I’d hope they wouldn’t degrade you down to the likes of Jessie Salco, but I could be wrong! For your sake, I hope I’m not wrong! Even though ANYONE can beat her, facing her is...well...just ask Alicia Lukas after this week. She’ll tell ya!

Anyway, I’m sorry I gotta hand you your first loss, Andrea! Maybe a little. Okay...maybe I’m not! Don’t blame me, okay! Blame the bosses! But don’t worry, I’m not gonna embarrass you! I mean...I can’t guarantee I won’t hit you with a stink face, because those are just too fun and hearing the fans laugh...GOD I LOVE IT!

I have no doubt you’ll move on and have some success in SCW. Hell, we’ll probably end up facing each other again real soon, but I’ve got bigger fish to fry and once I beat you, I’ve got a title match to focus on! You’re just the calm before the storm honey!

I extend you the best of luck and may the better woman win! And I plan on doing just that, honey!

But I’ll be sure to shake your hand afterwards!!

See you Sunday!!
