Brittany honestly couldn’t handle it anymore. To say that her mother was a shell of her former self was an understatement. Brittany wanted to change the circumstances of how her mother felt and now she had only one thought on her mind. She was going to change the events of the past. It was no secret that her mother was a lost soul and on top of that the way things have been unfolding as of lately Brittany really needed a mother she could depend on. Not one that would always get overly emotional and not one that was changing her perspective on life every other week. Brittany was sick and tired of everything. She was sick and tired of being blamed for everybody’s futures to be in jeopardy. It was enough hearing that she would become a cold hearted Bitch in the future but to hear that she would be the cause for her best friend’s death was enough to piss her off. She didn’t want to touch or see the events of the future but what she was focused on was the events of the past. Brittany seemed really focused as she stormed her way towards her hotel but she was stopped in her tracks by the likes of her best friend Ryleigh Knite.
“Brittany what do you think you are doing?! This is crazy you heard what your Auntie Jennifer told you when you first got the time machine. You can go back and view the events of the past but to change an event would change everything. You have no idea about the consequences that might result from your actions!”
Brittany however turns her attention to Brittany as she just grins in return.
“To be honest Ryleigh does it even look like I care right now?! The only thing that is on my mind right now is saving my grandfather from dying. Three years ago he died in his burning apartment. I know it really hurt my mother and there were so many questions that were left unanswered. It doesn’t sit well with me and every single Father’s Day my mother is left in tears. I can’t live through another one while seeing any of that… I have to fix this error, I have to perhaps save him….”
Ryleigh shakes her head as she looks back at her best friend.
“I know that sounds like an amazing idea but just think of what might happen by you changing one single effect. It is bound to have a major ripple effect. It could change everything and that’s not really a good thing. We don’t even know what might happen to our future because of it or what might happen to your mother or those in our own timeline… It’s really bad you saw what happened when Max used her power to rewind time to change the past in Life Is Strange. It’s just not a good thing and perhaps you should reconsider!”
Brittany looks back at Ryleigh as she shrugs her shoulders again.
“I can’t Ryleigh. This is something I have to do, and we wouldn’t be effected because we are the ones to change history… As a matter of fact what would happen if we not only saved him but we bring my grandfather with us?!”
Ryleigh thinks about it as she offers a very long drawn out sigh and continues to speak.
“Wait a minute you mean you want to just pull him out the timeline and take him with us?!”
“Yes Ryleigh… Technically it could be a loop hole in the system. The events would carry on as normal people would think he died and nothing will have changed as much. It could be an awesome thing to do…”
Ryleigh smiles as she looks back at her best friend.
“I honestly never thought of that. That is a loophole but what do you think your Grandfather is going to say when he sees you? You will have looked much different in three years how will even take you?”
“I really don’t know but this is what my mother wants! I know she hasn’t mentioned it outright but she is going to get married in two weeks. She could have her father walk her down the aisle and having Grandpa Pedro back in her life would do so much for her. It would do a lot for me and at the end of the day that is all that matters!”
Ryleigh stands there dumbfounded. She takes a long deep breath just sighing again as she begins to speak some more.
“If you say so but just hear me out… Are you sure you want to go through all of this. We have no idea at what exactly happened in the past. You might unfold some hidden dirty truth about your grandfather’s death. Something you really don’t want to know. Are you sure you can handle it and do you even want to know?!”
Brittany thinks about it for a few moments before she just nods her head in agreement.
“Of course I want to know. I didn’t come all this way just to leave those questions unanswered and we could focus on maybe getting even for everything. I just want things to run smoothly from here on out and I don’t want there to be any stones unturned. We have put a lot into everything and this is it… This is what I have been waiting for. My question is are you going to be with me Ryleigh?!”
Ryleigh looks at her best friend as she smiles in return.
“What kind of question is that?! You already know the answer to that question. Of course I am going to be right by your side. I am here with you in everything. Even if you are the cause for my death!”
Brittany just shakes her head in utter disgust as she glances over at Ryleigh.
“Totally not funny but anyway are you ready to do this?!”
“As ready as I am ever going to be…”
Brittany smiles warmly.
“It’s simple… We go in we save my grandfather and bring him back to the present. Everybody goes through life thinking he is dead and we surprise my mom and go from there. It seems a lot to take in but we will make this work. If we fuck up we could ruin the entire timeline between then all the way to the present.”
Ryleigh nods her head in agreement.
“Sounds good… Onward we go…”
With that the two ladies make their way throughout the hotel. They go into the basement and find the time machine. They both smile at one another as Brittany sets the date to 3 years ago. The machine begins to rumble. The two girls let out a very howling scream and the machine finally comes to a halt. The girls step out the machine and they are taken to a different part in Los Angeles, California. They are at an apartment complex and Brittany smiles as she looks at her best friend.
“Ryleigh I think we are here…”
“And where is here exactly?!”
“We are at the apartment complex where my grandfather lives or at least where he used to live. It was on this day that he passed away when his apartment went into flames so it’s up to us to figure out what happened…”
Both of them nod as they quickly look at the surroundings. Ryleigh looks over in the distance as she sees something she recognizes. It’s a car and one that belongs to that of Todd Williams. Ryleigh touches Brittany as she points at it.
“Isn’t that your dad’s car?! What is he doing here?!”
Brittany looks at it as she could see her father waiting patiently in the driver’s seat.
“No fucking way don’t tell me…. No…”
“What’s wrong Brittany…”
“This is when my father was the most evil man in wrestling… He had used me as a human shield he had done things to my auntie Jenny and my mom… Auntie Stephanie was trying to be a part of his Williams Dynasty and…”
Brittany thinks about it as she seems to be in shocked.
“Shortly after my grandfather died Stephanie was brought into the Dynasty and…. GRANDPA!!!”
With that Brittany and Ryleigh quickly make their way to her grandfather’s apartment. They hide behind a door as they could see smoke and flames starting to emerge from behind the door. The door swings open and that is when we could see Stephanie Sullivan emerging from behind the door. She has an evil grin on her face as she picks up the phone and begins to dial some numbers.
“Hello Todd… The deed has been done. He’s going to burn and by the time the cops come it will be too late…”
With that Stephanie starts to head down the stairs as she hangs up the phone and starts heading in the direction of his car. Brittany however looks at Ryleigh as she screams at her.
“We have to save my grandfather!”
“Brittany wait you just can’t run in there… The place is burning!”
Brittany pushes the door as she could see her grandfather unconscious on the ground. Brittany seems to be in a panic as she grabs her grandfather and tries to drag him out.
“We have to get him outta here! Come on Ryleigh give me some help!”
Ryleigh however just shakes her head as she looks back at her.
“Brittany I know it’s important to save your grandfather but if you don’t get out of there now you won’t even be around! You won’t make it!”
Brittany however ignores it as she tries her best to drag her grandfather out of the burning apartment. Ryleigh just offers a long drawn out sigh as she jumps into the apartment. She lifts Grandpa Lopez by the arms as she tries her best to help the man get out of the building. Brittany smiles as she passes through the door.
“Good job Ryleigh we are almost there! Just a little further and Grandpa will be out as well!”
Both girls do their absolute best and with some combined effort they both manage to get the man out of the apartment. The only problem is however as soon as they bring Pedro out of the building a piece of the ceiling and other structures fall and the entrance to the apartment becomes completely blocked. Brittany begins to scream as she sees Ryleigh stuck in the apartment.
“Ryleigh get the fuck out of there! You have to get out!”
“I can’t there’s nowhere to go… Brittany I… I….”
Brittany shakes her head as she looks at her surroundings trying to find the best way to get her free but there doesn’t seem to be anyway to do so. Brittany just let’s the tears overwhelm her.
“I’m so sorry Ryleigh… I am so sorry…”
Before she could say anything else the entire apartment went up into flames. Brittany seemed to be in shock as her friend screamed for her life and there wasn’t anything that Brittany could do about it. Instead of listening to the screams Brittany lifted her grandfather up and she helped the man down the stairs all the way to the time machine. Brittany had tears rolling down her cheek as she set the destination for the present day. The machine made the trip successfully to the present but as soon as they got to the present the machine broke down. Brittany shook her head in disgust as she looked at the machine with tears in her eyes. This time the machine brought her to Rose Productions
“No… No… Don’t do this to me!”
Brittany kicked the machine as hard as she can but it was no used. The machine was officially broken. She slowly turned her attention to her grandfather who she had brought back with her. The man started to stir as he looked up into the eyes of his granddaughter.
“Brittany is that you?! Why do you look different… What happened?!”
Brittany just shrugs her shoulders as she doesn’t even know what to say.
“I… I…. Grandpa it feels so good to see you again!”
She says in tears as her grandfather hugs her as tightly as she could. There was so much to discuss with a man who had been dead for the past three years. Brittany wipes the tears from her eyes as she squeezes him tighter than before.
“Why are you crying?! LAst thing I remembered I answered the door for Stephanie and everything went black after then…”
“You have been dead for the past three years. I went back in time and pulled you out of the timeline. I know you probably don’t believe me but…”
Before Brittany could say another word she could see what appeared to be a ghost of ehr best friend Ryleigh.
“And of course everything has officially come true. Your selfish desires were the causes of my death… You never cared Brittany. Despite the warnings of staying back to not change the past you went against the wishes of everyone who warned you, and you did what you wanted to do anyway and it cost me my life. You didn’t change a thing. Just like your future self you got me killed and it’s all your fault!”
“It’s not my fault! I never wanted you to come in the first place!”
“Yet you were also the one who told me to go into that burning apartment just so you could have your grandfather back! How are you going to explain this to everyone Brittany?! How are you going to feel about it…”
Brittany shakes her head as she shakes her head in disgust.
“I DON’T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THIS BULLSHIT! I DID WHAT I COULD! YOU SHOULD HAVE NEVER WENT!!!”
Pedo looks up as he glances into the eyes of her his granddaughter.
“I really don’t understand... “ Before he could say anything else the loud noise of the machine breaking down was enough to get the attention of people in the studio. At least the people who had clearance to get to the secret area of the studio. That person being none other than Christina Rose herself. She walks into the secret area it is there where she is able to spot her daughter. She runs over to her as she glances at her.
“Brittany is everything okay?!”
“I...I...I…”
Before Brittany could say anything else she looks over at her grandfather who seems befuddled. Crystal takes a long glance at the man as he begins to speak.
“Can somebody tell me what’s going on?!”
Crystal looks at her father and she faints. Brittany stands dumbfounded as she really didn’t know what to say. Her phone started to ring. She looked at the caller id and it was Ryleigh’s parents calling her. She didn’t bother picking up. There was so much to explain but instead she chose to hit the ignore button. Brittany knew she would be getting in a lot of trouble but for now she was going to just take everything in, and sit on it…”
On Camera
The scene comes into focus and as it does we are treated to the likes of Brittany Williams in a bikini. She is all grins as she is sitting down in a tube as she gets carried along slowly on the Atchafalaya Run ride at Bayou Blue. As she slowly drifts down the manmade river ride, she chuckles as she has the Roulette Championship draped in her lap. She is wearing a pair of designer sunglasses and she cracks a wide grin as she smirks in return as some camera men begin to shoot her.
“That’s right now is the time for my close up. Can I just say that it feels good to be in the water right now?! I am one of the best athletes in SCW today and the last time I was on television I was beating the unholy hell out of the likes of Mercedes Vargas. It’s a damn shame how much she loves to run her fucking mouth only to get placed in check by the YOUNGEST ROULETTE CHAMPION of all time! You see I am sitting proudly on my throne and I know for a fact that I am the most fighting champion in the company today especially when it comes to the likes of the bombshell division. You have women such as my mother and Mikah who only compete once or twice during a cycle and then moving onwards towards the super card….”
Brittany shakes her head in utter disgust as she giggles.
“And that’s utter bullshit in itself. These are the women that represent the company as being the best of the best?! These are the women we look upon as being better than everybody else?! Yet while we wait to see them actually get booked you have a princess like myself who has been making an impact since day one. Granted I had that small hiccup when I didn’t beat Cat Riley but other than that and of course wrestling in a tag team match my career in this company has practically been flawless. I destroyed Sam Marlowe, Mercedes Vargas, and even pinned the likes of Lucy Seraphina. I have beaten three former World Champions in this company and I just feel like none of you are showing me the proper respect. Within a three week span this is my second title defense but it’s all good…”
Brittany giggles once again as she slowly holds her belt high into the air.
“It just showcases to you all what kind of champion I am. It showcases the fact that I am among the top tier of talent in this company and I don’t plan to stop being the woman that I know I am. The only way I will ever stop being at the top is when I decide to put this division behind me so I can grab a hold of that World Bombshell Championship. Once I get my hands on that nothing else even matters and the reality is I will gain a hold of it one day, and it might be sooner than you think. Especially when your current number one contender Courtney isn’t even that strong of a wrestler. She’s been dropping matches and wrestling to a draw. Who wrestles to a fucking draw?! I know who does that someone who isn’t even fit to be in the main event to begin with! But I know my day will come it’s merely a waiting game. I have bigger fish to fry and it comes in the form of Kira Phoenix. “
Brittany offers a wicked grin as she continues to speak.
“Kira how is it going?! Guess what babe, this is your chance to be in the big dance. This is your path to fame and you get to face me. My question is what are you going to do with this opportunity?! Are you actually going to make something of it?! Are you going to showcase that you have the ability to win matches when it really matters or are you going to drop the ball and be just like everybody else?! The reality of the situation is I am a legend destroyer. You can line up the biggest of names and I have a habit of knocking them right back to nothing. I was meant to break records, and meant to be better than the rest. Compared to the level of talent I have been wrestling as of lately I would say you are clearly a step below the rest. How could anybody possibly take you serious? What have you done that could make people be afraid of you. I have done my research on you Kira and let me just say I am not that impressed! I mean since I have seen you wrestle all you have done is wrestle Courtney to a draw which is dumb. When you face the number one contender for a title you need to get a definitive victory. You need to showcase you want it and yet that wasn’t the case…”
Brittany shakes her head in utter disgust as she continues to speak.
“And just like me you tapped out like a little bitch to Cat Riley. Your biggest claim to fame that I have seen so far is beating Mercedes Vargas but I just retained against her. That isn’t something that is impressive anymore. Maybe if it was like three years ago it might have meant something but lately it’s just a useless stat which doesn’t mean anything. You couldn’t even beat Lucy but yet here you are. You somehow get one of these bullshit title defenses and I am supposed to take you seriously?! Let’s be honest why should I even give two shits about facing you?! Why should I even care or take you seriously?!”
Brittany nods her head as she speaks some more.
“I know why because I made a promise to the likes of Evie Baang. I told her that the challenge was on the table to face her at Summer XXXtreme. I want all of the cards on the table. I want to face her in a high profile match with the championship on the line and this could be her path to being something. This is her way to be much more than what she already was and to seriously go out with a BAANG! I came into this company to face the best of the very best. I didn’t come here to get caught up in losing to a scrub such as you! It may not mean much to you but do you even know my namesake. Do you even know the bloodlines that are flowing within me? I was born into wrestling and am destined for greatness. You my dear are merely an afterthought, and are clearly unfit to be in anyplace with me. Your place in this match is to serve as an example to Evie. I want her to know what she is in store for when she faces me on that cruise ship and I can’t afford to lose to someone like you especially when I have all of this momentum flowing in my direction!”
Brittany sits up in her tube as she slowly walks to the side and jumps out of the water.
“So you are a Phoenix? You know what a Phoenix is right? A stupid bird who burns itself out at the end of its life cycle and reignites into something better. You simply need to die before you get reborn and I guess I am going to help with the process. I am going to flat out destroy you. I am going to do you a favour and personally hurry this process up for you. I am going to bury you and I won’t have any second thoughts about doing it either. I know SCW is running out of competition for me to face because I keep on stomping them all right into the ground. But I guess you get to be next and it’s a shame that you are going to be faced with your funeral. It’s a real damn shame if I am honest. I have all of the makings to be the best damn bombshell in the company. It’s no secret I am your rookie of the year but I want a lot more than just that. I am hungry to be the very best. Hungry to meet Evie and the only true way for me to get what I want is to beat you. My quest to become much more than just a Roulette Champion continues through you. It’s time to live up to my potential and hopefully you can keep up. Don’t let me down… Get on my Level or at least LEVEL UP!!! SEE YOU SOON NOOB…Evie I hope you are watching because it won’t be long until it’s your turn.”
With that Brittany grins evilly as she raises her championship high into the air as we fade out on this image.
