 Steve’s quest to win the World Heavyweight Championship after it was vacated by J2H failed as he ended up being the third person eliminated from the match which was ultimately won by Calvin Harris, not only that but during the week Steve had gotten into it with the recently signed Griffin Hawkins feeling that the new signee was stealing his spotlight but this week he had a chance to win the other title J2H just vacated in another multi-man match.

His opponents? James Tuscini, Eyesane and Ryan Keys, that’s right, two men from the Battle Royal and one man who Steve has had a storied rivalry with since Ryan ended his second Roulette Title reign just before Christmas, with all this and the budding rivalry with Griffin Hawkins on his mind can Steve overcome this and win the Internet Championship?

Why am I going hiking just a few days short of my match for the other title J2H vacated two weeks ago and one week before Bloodstock? Because fuck you, that’s why!

In all seriousness I felt like changing up my promo locations for this week since my match is for the Internet Championship and will be my last match for a couple of weeks because of the music festival in England that I’m making my yearly trip too on Monday and it will be a hell of a weekend for sure but you know what would make this weekend even better? Winning the Internet Championship AKA, the other title J2H vacated two weeks ago and become one step closer to being a Grand Slam Champion.

And that’s if that punk Griffin Hawkins can mind his own business!

Last week was supposed to be my glory moment but I was so distracted by the thought of Griffin Hawkins stealing my spotlight that it allowed Calvin to knock me off the apron with that stupid looking punch eliminating me from a match that was mine to win!

I was literally sitting in the back waiting for Matt Spears to charge out and cash in the Golden Briefcase because that would’ve been more tolerable than some upstart punk holding onto the title that I should’ve won!

But I at least get a chance at redemption in this Fatal Four Way Match against two of my opponents from the Battle Royal in James Tuscini and Eyesane and my old enemy in Ryan Keys, the only reason why I haven’t pitched a fit on Twitter as the preview has predicted is because quite frankly my rants about Ryan getting yet another undeserving title shot would take up about a hundred tweets alone and that’s just the first paragraph! Instead I’m focusing all my effort into this promo.

Well that and how many ways I’ll kick Griffin’s ass if he even thinks about interfering in this match!

“So, are you regretting the decision to hike up this summit yet?” Andreas asked us as we trailed behind him, a review om Yelp strongly recommended that we not scale the summit without an experienced hiker with us and fortunately for us Andreas had plenty of experience hiking up places like this but yeah, we’re pretty far up the summit at the moment. “It’s not to late to go back down you know.”

“Yeah, yeah, I know.” I responded as I rolled my eyes before taking a sip from the water bottle. “Besides, this is Spooner Summit and Kaylee never complains when I spoon her!”

“You dragged us up that summit just so you could make that bad pun, didn’t you?” Cyrus asked and I hesitated for a second before nodding. “I’d say stick to your day job but professional wrestling isn’t really a traditional day job, is it?”

“In the sense that my sister still badgers me to get a real job? Yes.” I responded before we found a good place to stop for a rest and did just that. “But it was worth it for that pun.”

“Speak for yourself.” Andreas muttered under his breath as he, Kaylee and Cyrus sat down next to me.

“So, what’s the plan regarding the cameramen?” Cyrus asked as he glanced towards the cameraman. “I’m pretty sure that he wasn’t expecting to be going on a hiking trip today.”

“I’ll escort him down the hill once Steve is done with his promo and join you guys back up here.” Andreas responded before glancing up the mountain that we still had to climb to get the full experience, yep, regretting my choice now. “From there, we have two choices, rest up and continue the hike up the mountain or call it quits and just grab a bite to eat on the way back.”

“I say we call it quits.” Kaylee responded as she glanced up at the mountain. “I don’t think we’re dressed for a mountain climb, mostly because Steve made this decision on the spur of the moment just so he could make that damn pun but still!”

“Kaylee brings up some good points that I agree with.” Cyrus nodded in agreement and as much as I wanted to disagree, well, they’ve got a point. “Either you’ve come to your senses or you’re outvoted, all up to you Steve.”

“For the record, I vote we head back down.” Andreas added and that pretty much sealed the deal for me.

“Okay, I’ll do my promo, admire the scenery for a bit because for once Kaylee isn’t the most beautiful thing around and then head down, sound good to you?” I asked them and they nodded in response with Kaylee laughing at my little joke, after a few minutes I stood up and walked over to a different part of the area with the cameraman following me so that I could do my promo.

“First, Griffin Hawkins’ debut overshadows my ascension to greatness so much that I get eliminated from the Battle Royal that was mine to win and then? Not only is Griffin Hawkins booked in yet another match but I’ve got another title match lines up and I’ll be damned if I let that punk distract me from beating James Tuscini, Eyesane and Ryan fucking Kays for the Internet Championship later on this week at Climax Control!”

And I’m starting with Ryan.

“At this point I wouldn’t be surprised if Christian just dropped all pretenses, and maybe his trousers, and just gave Ryan a World Title Shot next week at Climax Control just because he knows for a fact that I’m not going to be there because of my yearly trip to Bloodstock in England! Well Ryan, I’m going to have to disappoint the little boytoy that could by denying him the chance to win the Internet Championship this week on Climax Control!”

Next up is James.

“Now onto the guys I actually faced in last week’s Battle Royal starting with the guy who was the second to last one eliminated from the match, that’s right James it’s you and this time around you’re not getting so close to a title because I’m going to eliminate you from the match personally, why? Because you share something in common with Ryan in that you are nothing but a dirty thief who keeps stealing victories from me and this is one match that you’re not going to steal from me because I am going to win this damn title!”

And finally, Eyesane.

“First Matt wins the Golden Briefcase and then you get not one but two title shots in a row Eyesane, I’m beginning to wonder just what blackmail material the Elders have recently required off the bosses, I mean personally? The only reason Kaylee is still employed is because I have that one photograph with the bosses dressed up as fireman with the water hose and trust me, you don’t want to know the details, but in the end, it won’t matter because I’m eliminating you from this match Eyesane!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

“You can consider this match take two of my attempts to win a title other than the Roulette Championship and it won’t matter what Griffin Hawkins does on Sunday because I’m walking out the Internet Champion and there’s nothing that Ryan Keys, James Tuscini or Eyesane can do about it because they are not as good as I am! Simple as that! This message has been paid for and delivered by “The Fearless Champion” Steve Ramone, the champion the fans deserve!”

I returned to the others so that Andreas could take the cameraman back down as the scene fades.
