Welcome back
Las Vegas, Nevada
[Off Camera]
It was a bittersweet. The last Climax control show was supposed to be this fun, it was on Easter, he was in a referee attire and he was looking forward to seeing a match up close. But just like that all that was changed last minute. Anything happens on a live show he supposed. Driving away from the Las Vegas airport Ryan had gone back for the week to rest up. He could never feel comfortable staying somewhere else before a big match. But there was another reason as to why he came back. His best friend, James called and said that their other friend was back at her house unharmed, though she doesn’t want to talk about what happened. What she did say was that Ryan shouldn't come back to Vegas if he knew what’s good for him. Little did his crazed uncle know that Ryan didn’t actually do what he’s told.
An incoming call got him out of his thinking time as he casually answered by the press of a button on his touch screen stereo. James is on the other line expressing his concerns as usual, something that Ryan never really had for himself.
“If this is about me going home I’m hanging up right now.†He said out loud so the phone could pick it up. His eyes stayed on the road as he rested his head on the palm of his hand.
Rolling his eyes at James's words about how crazy he is and that his uncle is still out there, etc. This was exactly what his friend has been telling him the entire plane ride back to his home state, and it wasn’t getting him anywhere.
“I’m being serious. You shouldn’t be there. Melissa keeps looking over her shoulder at every second she’s alone. She’s scared out of her mind and…â€
â€And what?â€Ryan interrupted. With a deep sigh he pulled his car over to the familiar block, only a few minutes away from his place. â€We got her back, she’s safe. If my uncle is looking for me then he’s not going to stop no matter where I am.â€[color]Persistence apparently ran in the family. “ I’m not going to get scared out of my own fuckin’ home.â€
Ryan tried his best to hear what the other was saying, but his mind was made up. He was going to stay him, then prepare for his match like he’s always done. Looking at his place from a distance he drove quickly past the park until he eventually got to the parking lot of the building.
â€James, I’m losing you. You're cutting off, I’m…†He ended the call on purpose before switching the engine off his black SUV and got out. Grabbing his suitcase he locked everything up before heading inside. Little did he know that when he went up the elevator to his loft that there was a rather ominous letter taped to his door.
Furrowing his brows Ryan immediately pulled off the letter to open it. After that he felt anger slowly rise over him at the taunting use of his real name. This could only be from one person.
â€Guess he found me.â€
Corruption
Las Vegas, NV
[On Camera]
Despite the events that happened last week, Ryan remains training for his up coming match. But if there is something that he’s learned from all his referee training it's that only those well oriented, well educated and well qualified can pull off the job. Being a referee holds a lot of power. Power that can easily be taken advantage of by the sick and corrupted. And this falls especially on this week special guest referee, Steve Ramone.
And this couldn't go so well for the reigning SCW Roulette Champion.
Ryan is seen running through town. Bare chested with a pair of athletic shorts, shoes as his eyes are covered by dark shades. His powerful body worked in excess before he soon stops at a corner. Catching his breath he walks around to prevent any injury as he flashes a white smile to the camera.
â€You know, I did change my training to be a ref at all. I still had to stay fit to do what they do and do pretty well at that. Goes to show that between a ref and a wrestler there isn't that much of a difference. But there are a few rules to follow.â€
He wipes the sweat off his brow as he stands still. His chest his raising and falling as he gets his breath.
â€One of those is very simple. And that's to never have corrupted judgement. Easy, right? Anyone can do that. Except Steve. No one can blame me for not trusting in Steve. He’s a snake of a wrestler that gets by one what he’s learned to do over the years. And I have no reason to believe that he’s going to be fair in this upcoming match.â€
He says in all honestly as Steve has had a record in the past. Ryan rests his hand on his hip and looks straight at the camera.
â€Just take a look at his own match stipulation on the roulette. Not once has Steve played by the rules in these matches where he’s supposed to be a professional. And this week I doubt that it'll be any different. Steve is pissed, Steve is humiliated and best of all, Steve is hurt from an apparent blowjob accident. I can't say that it could have happen to a better guy, but this is Steve we’re talking about. Only him can get screw himself out of a match while trying to screw. So this week he’s not happy. The only saving grace that I have of keeping my title is that this is a non-title match, I'm physically ready to go head to head with James Tuscini and lastly, I know Steve's tricks. I won't be fooled so easily.â€
Nodding his head he watches as the people go by while he starts to walk down an empty alleyway that leads to the parking lot of his loft.
â€in this upcoming match I finally get my hands on James and I won't let anyone ruin this moment for me. This is my chance to show him once and for all that I can and will beat him. Corruption or not from Steve, I will show everyone how much I've grown so I can finally get the respect I deserve, the respect I thought I had. I'm still a bit unsure of that. I dress up like I'm asked, I dance around and I put on a show for everyone, but they still see the same guy they saw back on my debut on Blaze of Glory. And I will change that.â€
Walking over to the elevator he stops to take off his sunglasses and push the button to go up. Though nothing is happening.
â€Corruption still follows me but I'm not going to let that stop me. This week I will show everyone that I can beat James Tuscini, and that I can be a respectable champion. Because in the end that's all we want. Despayre was a respectable champion, so was J2H and Rage in a way. And I want to go up to the same ranks. So it all starts here. There is no messing up this time. Both James and Steve better be ready.I’ll have no problems in stepping back from the spot like to do some real damage. Because in the end, we’re all corrupted.â€
Ryan kicks in the button with force causing it to work properly. With a smile on his face the elevator doors open and close for him as the scene ends.
