~I am definitely not the worse for wear after High Stakes VI. I entered and exited Hell In A Cell in the matters I said I would. Was I changed? Yes. I’ve become even more dangerous, because now, everybody knows what I’m capable of when I want something done. Amy Marshall needed more than just a wakeup call, but I don’t feel like she got it in the Cell. It’s already showing. Sadly, I’ve done what I can for her. She is imprisoning herself. She is holding herself back. Nobody else is responsible for that.~
~My hands are washed clean, as I honestly and truly did my best to help her. But I know a lost cause when I see one, as I’ve dealt with and defeated many of them in my 21 years alive. And so I leave her to resuscitate her own career, or if anyone else has the patience to help her do it for her. From what I’ve heard out of Jessie Salco, it probably won’t be her. Maybe it’ll be Jamie Dean. That’s a wait and see. All I know is, I’m moving on, away from someone who is just resting on her successful past, despite clearly not having had to face the level of competition that I and some others here in Sin City Wrestling have to offer.~
~Speaking of which, my next opponent, the Bombshell Internet Champion, Kate Steele. In the short time I’ve been active here, I have to say I’m impressed. I thought I’d be getting a shot at a one-on-one match for the Bombshell Roulette Championshipfirst, but honestly, as I’ve thought about it these past few days, the Bombshell Internet Championship is even more worth saving.~
~Why does it need to be saved? Well, it asked me, and I’m not going to say no…~

Panguitch, Utah
Garfield Memorial Hospital
~I find myself going down the hallway of the local hospital at a pretty rapid pace, right behind a hospital bed that from a far-off eye view would look to be empty. But there’s something on it. Not someone, but something. It’s being rushed to the operating room… STAT!~
~The doctor that’s near me pulls a white robe off a hook on the wall close to the operating room and tosses it at me.~
Doctor: “Quick, put this on Polly. Normally we don’t allow non-hospital staff in the O.R., but you have a dire need here, so we’ll make an exception. We need to hurry! Doesn’t have much time clearly.”
~I don’t argue with him, even though it is going to cover up my cute baby blue v-neck sweater. That’s minor though. This is urgent! Once it’s on me as I’m hastily walking with him and those that are rolling the hospital bed, the double doors burst open and the bed is rolled right in. The doctor allows me to stand at his side as we both survey the situation. I see the pictures on the bed, one of Amy Marshall, one of Kate Steele, and a third of the SCW Bombshell Internet Championship.~
Polly: “Doctor, will any of them live? Will they make it?”
~It’s a genuine worry coming out of me. It’s like I said, when it comes time to be an actress, I’d be golden at it, because I make it all seem so real.~
Doctor: “We’re going to try our hardest, but already we’re not getting a pulse or a heartbeat from the first picture. We’ll try to resuscitate it, but no guarantees Miss Pingotti. As for the second, looks to have a fighting chance, but major work needs to be done. As for the third…”
Polly: “The third? How is he? Please tell me he’ll be okay Doctor. Please!”
~He sighs before telling me what I need to hear, the truth.~
Doctor: “His life hangs in the balance. He needs to be saved by the end of the weekend or…”
Polly: “Or what?”
~He looks just down to the bed, his head down, not even looking at me. I look at him and then down towards that third and final picture.~
Doctor: “Things will probably end up quite grim. Not saying he’ll die, but it won’t look good at all. He’s our best chance for a prognosis right now… STAT!”
Polly: “I think I know what he needs Doctor! He needs an extremely healthy dose of playtime and he needs to feel normal again by getting rid of all the excess garbage he’s had to deal with over the past decade or so. He needs me… STAT!”
~The Doctor and the entire Operating Room team look at me, and one by one they all seem to agree. The picture of the SCW Bombshell Internet Championship is passed to me by the Doctor. I gently touch its edges and talk to it. Don’t worry, I’m not crazy, but it needs to come to me, for real. It knows it’s for its own good.~
Polly: “Don’t worry, I’ve got you. I’m gonna save you and make things right. We’ll get you back to what you should be, no extra additives needed. Just hang in there, okay?”
~I close my eyes as I hear the beeping of the operating room machines going at a consistent clip. I clutch the picture of the Championship up to my heart and then open my eyes. They’ve begun to look now at the picture of my opponent for Climax Control, the one that the Championship must be saved from. Oh I know she’ll offer me a fight, but I’m going to make sure that it’s just not good enough. As I glance over at the picture of Amy Marshall, the one that tried to ruin and end my wrestling career before it could ever take off, they’ve lost her. I smile some as the heart monitor just flatlines. The Doctor goes to put the sheet on the bed over that picture, but I stop him.~
Polly: “Allow me sir.”
~I do the honors before turning my attention back to the picture that I clutch in my grasp. I thank the Doctor for taking the time to help me out, before taking the picture I hold out of the Operating Room, heading back out to the hospital’s waiting area.~

Pingotti Household
Mr. Pingotti: “It’s been GREAT having you home pumpkin the past couple of days. I just wish I had known sooner that you were coming so I could have scheduled you against one of the contestants on tonight’s show.”
Polly: “Hey, it’s okay dad. I got my first one-on-one championship match this Sunday over in Reno. I don’t mind just being there at the show with you tonight and just relaxing until then. Besides, I’m pretty sure the contestants need a bit of a break, don’t you think?”
~I haven’t stopped looking in his direction while telling him this. He smiles and nods, looking like he has an idea. I’ll say this, I’ve always liked my dad’s ideas, so this one should be good.~
Mr. Pingotti: “Heh Polly, I guess. But I’ve got it. Co-host with me. You’ve shown me so many times that you’re outspoken, so why not?”
Polly: “Do you think Mr. Compton will agree with it?”
Mr. Pingotti: “Yes. I’m sure you even have a lovely dress you can wear as you help me out at the host stand.”
Polly: “Oh I’ve got that covered dad. I guess I better get changed.”
Mr. Pingotti: “Alright, we’ll leave in about a half hour.”
Polly: “Good enough for me. And dad?”
~He was about to turn to leave me to go get ready himself, but my prompt has got him to forget about that for a moment.~
Polly: “It’s always great to be home. Being I’m only wrestling over in Reno, I’ll be back home early next week, this time with some shiny gold that represents something that seriously needs to be saved, the Internet.”
Mr. Pingotti: “I’ve realized you’ve never been much for computers.”
Polly: “I’ve heard too many horror stories. Anyways, I’ll get ready. We’ll have time to talk more in the car dad.”
Mr. Pingotti: “Yes we will.”
~He heads his way and I head mine, which is up the stairs and into my room. I close and softly lock the door before stepping up to my closet and examining all the good dresses that I have in my apparel. I can’t help but to think about it for a couple of minutes before I finally reach my left hand forward and pull out the hanger that holds a cute but actually quite sophisticated and somewhat sparkly black dress.~
Polly: “Perfect.”
~I toss the hanger aside and right as I’m about to begin to change I begin to admire its sparkles. Reminds me of gold and of what awaits me this Sunday night. I can already hear the Sin City Wrestling Bombshell Internet Championship crying out to me…~
“Save me Polly. Save me! I want to be in the hands of someone who knows what the Internet SHOULD be for!”
~Don’t worry Championship. Unlike how Amy didn’t want to be saved, I hear you, and I’ll save you. You hold the key to a message that needs to be sent out to the whole world. The Internet is so much better than cyber sex and hackers trying to gain all of your personal information. It was meant so businesses could process things faster, and also store important information in a safe place. It’s all long since gone wrong, but maybe, just maybe, it can all be corrected, starting on December 11, 2016!~
~With this feeling oh so right in my mind I quickly change and straighten up. Trust me, it doesn’t take long for me to look my best. It just comes naturally. Being I’m done with some time to spare though, time to begin getting that message across. May as well record…~
Polly: “I’m just gonna start out by saying that I told Amy so! She thought I was just some little Barbie doll daddy’s girl that didn’t know what she was doing. She was proven oh so wrong, almost DEAD wrong. However I kept to my word. I let her live, just so she’d have to live out whatever’s left of her disintegrating wrestling career. I can see the news bulletin hasn’t hit her yet though. That news being that her days where she believed she was the greatest and a Hall of Famer to boot are LONG OVER. Active hall of famers to me means that you should still be at your best, defeating whomever you’re up against, and turning back any newcomer’s challenge. But she just couldn’t do it. Now she has egg on her face, egg that she won’t be able to ever remove.”
“She did it to herself though. And now, what’s next for me? What’s the next big playtime? In just a couple of nights I will do something for MY own self, and that’s winning and strapping championship gold around my waist for the first time. Last time I only didn’t get to do that because I was taken advantage of by two women, both of them clearly can’t cut it on their own in this day and age. This time there is nothing or no one that will be around to stop me from saving… yes, that’s right… saving the Bombshell Internet Championship, thus beginning the return to what the Internet SHOULD be. You know, not the scary, dangerous place it’s become. There’s a reason why I’m not on it often, and when I am, it’s usually on my cell downloading a free app that I want. That’s it.”
~I pause, but very briefly, just to catch a breath of fresh air.~
Polly: “Anyways, that’s why it has to be taken away from you Kate Steele. Yes, I heard you out in the lead-up to High Stakes VI, for your title defense against Evie Baang. While you’re right that the Internet needs a movement, you’re wrong about it being a movement that’s designed to be all about you. You see Kate, the Internet needs a renaissance. People need to wake up, smell the coffee, and realize that what the Internet is mostly used for today is not what it was originally intended to be used for. It shouldn’t be all about Instagram, Twitter, Youtube, and chat sites. Look, I like to relax too and take time to put up my feet, but I don’t do it in front of a computer screen. There are other more productive and safe ways to have fun, if you know what I mean. Just look at High Stakes VI. Me punishing Amy Marshall, and deservedly so, inside Hell In A Cell, that was productive and inside a safe structure. No one could hack their way in. No one asking me for my a/s/l. And no guy showing me his nasty… uh… pecker. I definitely got my exercise in and even though Amy did push me some, it just wasn’t even close enough to the limit that I can handle. The same thing can be said for you and this Sunday night. Based on what I’ve seen, you can go, but I’m not completely impressed. I know you’re standing there thinking that you defeated the most vile woman in this place, but if you even think that Evie is the most vile, or even that Twister Sister is the most vile, you don’t know a THING about me. I’m nasty, honest, competitive, and cruel. When the cards are laid out Kate, everyone gets to see what I can do and how far I’m willing to go to get what I want, and that is ALL THE WAY!”
“Right now, I want the Internet’s renaissance to begin, an Internet that will actually be useful, instead of a detriment to our world. It can be saved, and I’m going to do whatever I can to breathe the correct life back into it. People will see me and hear me out too. If High Stakes VI wasn’t enough to show it, me as the new Sin City Wrestling Bombshell Internet Champion will definitely change everyone’s opinion. Perhaps everyone will begin to really see the caring young woman that I am. I may seem like a bad, naughty little girl that just likes humiliating everyone, but that’s not all of me. My main goal is to positively change the world. Humiliation, embarrassment and degradation are just three ways of getting people to that point. No they aren’t good feelings to have, but I love offering them up and dishing them out because it gives me joy to know that maybe, just maybe, the victims will be more aware of what they need to do next time around.”
“You Kate, you know what you need to do out there in Reno. You need to find a way to continue this movement that you want to do that clearly won’t bring anything good to the Internet, and the only way to do that is by once again successfully defending the Bombshell Internet Championship. Easier said than done I assure you. Just based on your mindset prior to High Stakes VI I can tell that you aren’t as determined as I am. You’re just falling back on and probably will continue to fall back on your thought that you’re unbeatable when it comes to wrestling on supershows.”
~I shake my head and sigh before moving on.~
Polly: “Listen Kate, I know the memo didn’t get to Amy Marshall, but hopefully it’ll by chance get to you. Anyone can beat anyone else on any given night, especially when they want to accomplish far more than their opponent is thinking about. The movement you’ve just begun to rant and rave about only benefits you. From what I last heard from you, you’re already drunk with power after becoming the Bombshell Internet Champion. I’m all for female empowerment Kate, but not in the means that you’re doing it. That’s what’s going to take center stage in just two nights time as we battle over who is going to carry the Bombshell Internet Championship into the new year. 2017, I’m going to make sure that’s a year where things get improved, and not just for my own benefit! I’ve already tried to help some. I’VE ONLY TRIED TO HELP!”
“Apparently sometimes that assistance just goes in one ear and right out the other. But I’ve heard the Bombshell Internet Championship calling my name Kate. It wants to be saved. It wants to feel safe. With me it will have that luxury. It will be able to breathe, just like how eventually all Internet users in the near future will be able to breathe a sigh of relief, knowing the Internet will be back to its intended purpose, and not all the unnecessary junk that has been added to it. As far as Instagram is concerned, it’s called a cell phone or a camera. As far as Twitter and Facebook are concerned, it’s called a cell phone or a landline or just plain out actually stepping outside of your house and talking to the person you want to talk to, especially if they’re within a close distance to you.”
“Now I know I’m no friend to you, and you’re not one to me either, but none of those apps will be needed this Sunday when we’re squaring off inside that ring. And know this, you won’t be able to “like” what happens once we’re both in there either. If you think for one second that you’re just going to say that I don’t deserve this opportunity and that you’re just going to steamroll me at Climax Control, you’re going to realize that both things are just not true.”
“As far as what I’m looking to do, I’m not looking to humiliate you this Sunday Kate. This time around it’s not about that. It’s about me becoming SCW’s newest Bombshell Internet Champion. It’s about continuing to show that I’ve arrived and that I’m going to do whatever it takes to both be successful and make our world a better place. If you feel embarrassed after I beat you this Sunday, that’s your own problem. You have your chance to stop me. You have your chance to successfully defend that championship and move closer towards 2017 as a champion. But that’s all that it is… a chance. A chance that will end with two infamous words ringing through your mind. Those two words are, of course, YOU LOST.”
~I don’t expect her to believe me. I don’t expect anyone to believe me. Seeing is believing and well, High Stakes VI, they saw. They all know that I’m a threat. And this Sunday I am MORE than just a threat to the current Bombshell Internet Champion. I’m the one that’s going to perform the necessary emergency operation, which is the removal of that championship belt from the possession of SCW’s siren, Kate Steele. She will be the one wailing when it’s all said and done, and the Internet will begin to come to be the place it was meant to be once again.~
~I happily sigh and stop the recording I’ve done, and just in the nick of time too. My dad is just now knocking on my door.~
Polly: “I’m ready dad. Coming!”
~I unlock the door, open it, and step right out into the hallway to join him.~
Mr. Pingotti: “Stunning. I don’t know how you do it pumpkin, but you always look great.”
Polly: “Thanks dad. Let’s go.”
~With my purse slung over my left shoulder the two of us head back downstairs, getting ready to go out and take care of business.~
