Hello SCW.
Well, it seems my wish has been granted. I merely asked for an opportunity to become the Roulette champion. To earn my way to that spot, and low and behold, I guess based on my track record and my reputation, I have a shot now, to become the Roulette champion and complete the Grand Slam! It is a really amazing opportunity and a great honor. I would join the likes of Amy Marshall and Mercedes Vargas. Kind of some elite company too! I must say, I am surprised and humbled by this opportunity. Even if a couple of weeks ago was a wash.
I know I said two weeks ago I didn’t want to beat Keira, and be the person who pretty much robs Keira of a dream. That match was booked for pure spite by Mark Ward, I don’t know what we ever did to him, but, I guess he really didn’t like Keira and I asking to earn title matches, I’m not quite sure. I know I didn’t exactly fight with EVERYTHING I had, but I tried not to hold back. My goal wasn’t to win. I stated in my promo that while chasing the Bombshell’s title again, and becoming only the 2nd 3 time bombshell’s champion would indeed be nice, that’s another accomplishment, for another time. I did not, and do not desire to be Bombshell’s champion right now. Keira wanted to challenge, and what kind of wife would I be if I stood in the way purposely. I feel like Keira is ready for at least a shot. And against 5 of the finest wrestlers, not just bombshells, but wrestlers in the entire company, Keira may be seen as a dark horse, a long shot. But much like playing the lotto, you never know.
My goal changed. It was to teach Keira. To prepare her for what lies ahead. Those 5 other women aren’t going to be pushovers. It’s important to me that Keira knows this. So, a lesson needed to be taught. And hopefully, Keira fully learned that lesson.
But as for me? Boy, do I have a whole lot of catching up to do.
First of all, I haven’t won a match on my own in a long time. I have been totally sucking it up lately. Like, with a straw. I have just not been myself, and it is making me crazy. I’ve been losing left and right, unable to focus, unable to really buckle down and get my butt in gear. It’s been rough. I can’t even remember the last time I won a singles match. I really need to actually get back to work and really find my stride again. This has been my fault. I’ve spent all this time trying to build Keira up, trying to set a good example, and bam, like a punch in the face, it has hit me. I have been completely off my game. Maybe it’s a run of bad luck or something. I dunno, but I plan to shake it off, and bounce back.
I’ve had slumps like this before. Maybe it’s just rust. I have been in tag matches almost exclusively for the past 8 months. I’ve been teaming with Keira and Casey Williams pretty consistently. Maybe I’ve just gotten too used to tag teams. Sure, the last few singles outings didn’t go as planned. I underestimated Natalie being as strong as she was, and well, I already spoke about the match with Keira. But this time, I know I can make it different and come out on top. It’s a goal. A dream. An accomplishment only a chosen few ever get to.
Now, of course, winning the Roulette title means I have to ready for any match. Any match thrown my way is on the table. Ladder, Dumpster, anything. Quite a far cry from the norm, but unfortunately for me, I kind of skipped that whole fighting in matches dictated by a spin of the Roulette wheel. I almost feel now like I missed an opportunity. It sounds exciting and fun. I’ve never been one to back down from a fight, and this being a brand new challenge to me, I just hope I am ready for it. Keira being a former Roulette champion herself, I’m sure can give me a few pointers, but then again, how many pointers can you really give for a random match! I could be in lingere pillow fight for goodness sakes! I’m hoping it’s something a little more competitive, but you never know.
But it is the unpredictability of the match type, and all that surrounds that title that makes it worth going for. The excitement of having to face an unpredictable opponent, in an unpredictable match? The Roulette championship is something else. And winning it means the end of a lot of things. The end of a real struggle for me. Maybe, if I win, I get looked at in a different light.
For as long as I’ve been here, I’m never really tried to claim I was the best. I was never thrust into the role of the “Face” of the company. The head bombshell. For years, it was Misty, and Odette, Vixen and Delia, and now Mikah and Sam. I’ve just been around here, the whole time, just quietly amassing everything. But I don’t brag about. No need. I’ve just pointed things out when they needed to be pointed out. I’ve tried very hard to make the best out of the situations I was given. Sometimes it worked, sometimes I was passed over because it has never really mattered to me. I win this, I complete the grand slam. Check mark down on the bucket list. And then I get put into a situation where right out of the gate, I’ll be put in some kind of crazy match the next time I defend it. It must be difficult to be the Roulette champion. It must change people.
And well, I guess that makes it perfect for Kate Steele.
{The scene opens inside of Roxi and Keira’s condo, a day after Keira’s training accident. Keira moves around gingerly, stretching and and preparing to enter the ring set up in the gym area. Roxi sees her as she enters the room.}
Keira – You ready?
Roxi – Are you ready?
{Keira gives a sly grin and enters the ring, circling in the ring to loosen up.}
Keira – Of course I am!
{Roxi smiles and shakes her head, but cautiously walks up the steps at the base of the ring.}
Roxi – I mean, after yesterday. I am worried you’re not fully healed yet.
Keira – I’ll be fine.
{Keira continues to circle around in the ring, before stretching against the ropes.}
Roxi – I’m being serious Keira. I want you to be 100% before we start any training.
Keira – Roxi, don’t be a worry wart. It’s gonna give you –
Roxi – Don’t. You. Dare.
{Keira giggles as she shakes her head.}
Keira – It’s the truth.
Roxi – I don’t want to hear it. I’m mean it Keira, I don’t want you training unless you are ready.
Keira – Rox, wrestlers are never 100%. Our bodies take a beating.
Roxi – And your body was pinned and nearly crushed by a malfunctioning gravity room.
{Keira throws her hands up and sighs.}
Keira – Okay, I’m a little sore still, but I’m fine. No worse than any normal day.
Roxi – Are you sure? Don’t lie to me.
Keira – Roxi, seriously. Stop. I am fine, and you’re not going to hurt me. It. Is. Fine.
Roxi – Alright, alright. I’m just making sure.
Keira – Rox, listen to me, we’re not going to get anywhere if you don’t quit babying me. I’m not a child. If you want me to actually feel like I’m getting better, you have to let me grow. I can’t have you over my shoulder constantly about the little things. I’ll play through pain. I am fine!
Roxi – And your stubbornness has landed you in hospital beds more times than I care to remember. So you’ll have to forgive me for being a little cautious around my wife’s well-being.
Keira – You are one to talk. You’d run headlong into trouble to save strangers.
Roxi – That’s our job.
Keira – And yet, we’re not training for that fight at all.
Roxi – Because yesterday, you were in the medical bay, and the rejuvenation tank!
{Roxi sighs and rubs her eyes with her index finger and thumb.}
Roxi – Listen, okay, maybe, for the wrestling matches we have, yes, we can be in some pain, obviously, we do that almost weekly. We’re always in the ring in some form or another. But in terms of dealing with Stephanie, and Lady Victory’s mask, we HAVE to be 100% or as close to it as humanly possible. Who knows what will happen between now and then, but that’s a fight we can’t lose.
Keira – Trust me, when the time comes I will be ready for her.
Roxi – No, WE will be ready for her.
Keira – Roxi, you know –
Roxi – That I am a better fighter than you. When it comes to brute force and strength, you may have the edge, but you’re sloppy, hot headed, and at times arrogant about fighting. This translates into all the losses you take.
{Keira brushes her hair back and ties it back in a ponytail.}
Keira – I’m better now. I’m going to learn, but this goes back to my original point. You can’t keep babying me.
Roxi – I won’t. But you are my wife, and you need to know the truth. As harsh as it is, I am telling you what you need to hear. We’re a team! We need to do this together.
{Keira sighs, and throws her hands up in mock surrender.}
Keira – Alright, alright, let’s not fight any more about this. Let’s wrestle. Please. We both have big matches coming up.
Roxi – I know. I know you’ll be ready.
Keira – Let’s not make this all about me. Let’s get you ready too.
Roxi – Right. Right.
{Roxi slowly enters the ring and ties her hair back as well.}
Keira – You have a chance to make history. Let’s prove all the doubters wrong.
Roxi – You got it.
{Roxi and Keira lock up and Roxi instantly takes the side headlock. Keira backs her up into the ropes and shoots her off. Roxi shoulders Keira to the mat on the rebound. Roxi hits the perpendicular ropes and Keira stays down. Roxi goes over the top, and keeps running. Keira stands up and leapfrogs her before dropping back down. Roxi jumps over again, but jumps into a seated headlock. Keira fights up, and tries for a belly to back suplex, but Roxi flips and lands on her feet. Keria hits the ropes and Roxi drops down Keria goes over and then Roxi slides into position for a monkey flip. She flips Keira, but she lands on her feet and keeps running. Roxi stands and Keira runs at her and goes behind. She grabs Roxi is a waist lock and pushes her into the ropes and tries a rolling reverse cradle, but Roxi keeps rolling and reverses. Keira instantly kicks her off and stands up. The two start going for punches, kicks, and other strikes, but each is blocked by the other. Keira attempts a headbutt but Roxi uses her forearm to block. Stunned, Keira takes a step back and Roxi again takes her over with a headlock. Keira uses her legs to pulls Roxi back into a headscissors and Roxi instantly rolls and twists, popping her head out and rolling on top of Keira, who bridges out quickly and turns it into a backslide. Roxi rolls away as more strikes are exchanged, but no one can land anything. The two separate and look at each other.}
Keira – Well, that was a good warm up.
Roxi – I just wanted to be sure you were okay.
{Keira looks confused.}
Keira – You better not be holding back!
Roxi – Not any more.
Keira – Good. You ready to turn it up?
Roxi – Yeah.
{Keira and Roxi lock up again, this time moving faster than before, papers on the nearby table being blown off. The increase in speed and power not effecting them, as they continue to spar.
A short time later, Roxi and Keira rest on the mat. Clothing dirty and both heads of hair matted with sweat. Roxi rolls out first, sitting on the apron, as Keira slowly uses the ropes to get up.}
Roxi – That was pretty good.
Keira – Yeah, kind of worn out. Gonna have to grab a shower before dinner.
Roxi – Hey, what time is it?
Keira – 2.
Roxi- Ah crud.
Keira – What?
Roxi – I need to meet the girls for dress fittings!
Keira – Well, we can shower together.
{Keira winks and rubs Roxi’s shoulder.}
Roxi – No, you go on ahead and shower. Won’t take me long to get down there.
Keira – Alright.
{Keira stands up and kisses Roxi walking towards the exit. Roxi stands up and stretches but as soon as Keira disappears behind the door. Roxi pulls out her phone and dials.}
Roxi – Jenny… it’s me…. I need a favor. Fire up the gravity room for me in about 2 hours. I’m going to need some alone time in there….. Yeah… Thank you.
{Roxi hangs up the phone as the scene fades.}
{The scene opens with Roxi in a fresh set of clothes, standing outside the dress shop. A car pulls into the parking lot and Misty soon exits, with Owen in tow. Misty takes Owen by the hand with her finger and leads him towards Roxi, who is already squatting ready for Owen to come to her. Owen smiles happily and squeals, breaking away from his mother and into Roxi’s arm as she picks him up.}
Roxi – There you are! How is my little man? Hmmm? You are so handsome, look at you!
{Roxi kisses Owen like a mad woman, laughing and snugglng with him as Misty just smiles.}
Misty – Oh, hi by the way.
Roxi – What? Oh? Sorry Misty, didn’t see you there.
{Roxi gives Misty a knowing grin and holds Owen in her arms.}
Roxi – I’m only joking. I missed seeing you in person.
Misty – I’ve missed you guys too.
Roxi – How’s Ireland?
Misty – It was amazing. And obviously, I got a lot more out of it than I ever expected.
Roxi – Please tell me Owen is already being trained for the Celtic Warrior games…
{Misty double takes and shakes her head.}
Misty – No, you crazy woman! O’Malley!
Roxi – Oh, right. Will he be coming?
Misty – Of course.
Roxi – Well, we’ll have to charge you an extra seat now. Being 1 means you are officially a plus 1 Owen! Well, then again, you’re so handsome, you can come for free!
Misty – Wish I could pay for things with my looks.
Roxi – Well, you’re a looker too Misty, But, I think he’s got you beat.
Misty – Yeah, I’ll take 2nd place for now.
Roxi – Hey, O’Malley’s a lucky guy. I’m just glad to see you happy and smiling again. I miss this Misty! I haven’t seen this Misty since Team Super Sprinkles Unicorn Lovers United was around!
Misty – Just rolls right off the tongue, doesn’t it?
Roxi – Well agreed on the name!
Misty – No, It was just two to one.
Roxi – Majority rules, Misty.
Misty – I still think it could be better.
{Roxi looks around, rubbing Owen’s head as Owen pulls on her necklace and yells at it for no cooporating with his hand.}
Roxi – Well…
Misty – He can be bossy.
Roxi – I see… Have you heard from Melly?
Misty – She texted me. She’s been sick a while now. Not feeling well.
{Misty pulls out her phone and looks at the text.}
Misty – And, *Sigh* She also insisted that as “head” bridesmaid that she get her own fitting. I assume this part is a joke, complete with winky-face emoji.
Roxi – Well, so long as she fit enough to go.
{Another car pulls up, and a very pregnant Kahlan Fischer exits the car with help from her husband Chris.}
Roxi – Hi Chris.
{Chris waves before kissing Kahlan who is not exactly the happiest person in the world given her situation. Roxi walks over and gives Kahlan a big hug as she slightly returns the favor.}
Roxi – You look great.
Kahlan – Don’t make me kick you in the shin.
Roxi – I meant it.
Kahlan – I’m a whale Roxi, look at me.
Roxi – Oh stop. You look great and that’s final.
{Roxi helps Kahlan walk a few steps to sit on the bench on the outside.}
Roxi – Easy peasy.
Misty – Hi Kahlan.
Kahlan – Misty.
Misty – I know those faces all too well.
Kahlan – Which, the “kill me now” face? Or the “why haven’t you killed me yet?” face?
Misty – Both.
{The three share a laugh, even though Roxi really isn’t able to relate to the joke.}
Roxi – I’m really glad you could make it Kah.
Kahlan – Yeah, even bloated and knocked up, I wouldn’t miss this for you Rox, you know that. Really pushing it with the timing though.
Owen – Es tha?
{Owen points at Kahlan’s larger belly.}
Kahlan – Did that baby just call me fat?
{Kahlan laughs it off.}
Roxi – I think he said “what’s that?” There’s a baby in there.
Owen – Baaabee?
Roxi – Yes.
{Owen points to himself}
Owen – Baabee.
Roxi – No, you’re not a baby, you’re a big boy now!
Misty – It’s already been a year…. Jesus this went fast.
Kahlan – I sure hope so.
Roxi – Kahlan!
Kahlan – You don’t have a human being inside you placing soccer with your bladder right now.
Roxi – … Touche’.
Misty – This year has been, strangely fun. Being a mother to a baby again… insane.
Roxi – You are a pretty good mommy. Eden and Owen are amazing little kids. I may just kidnap this child right now.
Owen – Annteee Oxy!
Roxi – That is right! You can come live with me and I will spoil you all day!
Misty – You do that already.
Kahlan – You’re going to do it Clark, aren’t you?
Roxi – Maybe. And by maybe, I mean absolutely.
Misty – So, I guess, you’ll be the next mommy, but you didn’t even get pregnant.
Kahlan – Yeah, when you are YOU gonna get pregnant Rox?
Roxi – Um, I’m don’t know. Trust me, there was a long debate about who was gonna carry, I wanted to. So did Keira. We just… had to compromise being we were tag champions and didn’t want to just give up the titles.
Kahlan – A likely story.
Roxi – It’s true.
{Kahlan pats Roxi on the shoulder.}
Kahlan – I’m kidding. I know you are better than to get pregnant in the middle of something important.
Roxi – I wanna have babies one day. I do. I want my own Owen.
{Roxi kisses Owen on the forehead and sets him down where he walks slowly, but gingerly back to Misty’s waiting arms. From behind Roxi, a pair of hands clamp down over her eyes.}
Voice – Guess who!
Roxi – Amy!!
{Roxi stands up and hugs her friend. Amy returns the favor, complete with a boob squeeze at the end.}
Roxi – I’ve missed you so much!
Amy – I missed you too, luv. ‘ow are you?
Roxi – I am much better seeing all of you, and you know I can’t resist that accent.
Amy – Why do you think I do it love. Me accent is the best.
Roxi – I’m sold.
Amy – What’s this then I hear about you ‘aving a baby?
Roxi – Yeah, Christine is carrying for us. But he’s gonna be here soon.
Amy – Him. I love it. And I guess everyone is a mom here, aren’t there.
Kahlan – Soon to be for some.
Amy – ‘Ow are you Kahlan?
Kahlan – I’m okay. Once this kid is out I’ll be even better.
{Kahlan laughs to herself.}
Misty- Well, shall we go in?
Roxi – Well, I mean, are you guys ready?
Kahlan – I waddled my butt down here, I’m sure as heck ready.
Roxi – Are you sure?
Amy – Sure thing darlings.
{Roxi helps Kahlan stand up.}
Roxi – After the handsome one of the group. I’ll help the pregnant lady.
{Kahlan sneers at Roxi. As Owen leads Misty into the dress shop along with Amy smiling and holding the door for Kah and Roxi.}
Roxi – Go one Ames, we’ll be right behind you.
Amy – Kinky. See you haven’t lost your touch old girl.
{Amy winks as she sticks her tongue out and enters.}
Roxi – You got this Kah?
Kahlan – I’m not crippled Rox, I’m pregnant.
Roxi – I’m sorry. You know how I am.
Kahlan – I know.
{Kahlan sighs}
Kahlan – Look, I’m sorry, it’s not me, it’s pregnancy. You know I love you and Ke to death. Just like they do. You and I, we’re tighter than skinny jeans. I hope this dress can hide how –
Roxi – Stop it Kahlan. You’re going to look great. I promise. I need you guys for this.
{Kahlan gives Roxi a hug and rubs her shoulder.}
Kahlan – Thanks for not forgetting about me Rox.
Roxi – Never ever. I get reminded of you every day Kah. You are very important to me. And you always will be.
{Kahlan smiles, as Roxi opens the door and she walks in. Roxi in behind her.}
Roxi – Well, now that we’re all… mostly, in here, I want to thank you guys for doing this for me. It really means a lot.
Misty – No problem.
Amy – You know how I lurves ya Rox.
Kahlan – Ditto.
Roxi – Also, Keira says hello.
Misty – I bet she does.
Kahlan – Same with you guys too?
Amy – Always.
Roxi – That’s Keira. Anyway… Now that we’re here, and the pleasentries are out of the way… Let’s make some bridesmaids!
{The scene fades on the group nodding and agreeing.}
{The scene opens as Roxi determinedly walks towards the gravity room. Jenny standing by the door.}
Jenny – What gives Rox?
Roxi – I need to get myself stronger. Work on a few things.
Jenny – Well, you know, 2 hour limit. I’ll be –
Roxi – Keeping Keira away from here.
{Jenny is caught off guard by Roxi’s blunt tone.}
Roxi – Please do this for me. Two hours, I’ll be fine.
Jenny – Okay, you should still have some –
Roxi – I’ll be fine. I know my limits. Just make sure Keira is happy and distracted. Tell her I’m still at the fitting if need be. Plan your own bridesmaid’s thing. Whatever you need.
Jenny – Roxi, are you okay?
Roxi – Just focusing on keeping myself ready for what lies ahead.
{Jenny’s eyebrows raise, as she slowly nods in agreement.}
Jenny – It’s ready when you are. Again, two hours.
Roxi – Thank you.
{Roxi casually steps inside the gravity room and puts in her settings as te machine whirrs up. The scene fades.}
So, my opponent is Kate Steele. I have never faced her before in a singles match, but I am still, despite not having the best luck right now, confident in my ability to beat her and take the Roulette title from her. I may be rusty, but all that can change in one match. It’s a weird thing now. Kate’s been on a roll lately, and last time we were actually in the ring against one another, she cowardly hit my wife with that Roulette title in order to steal a victory in Japan. So for that, I should rightly want revenge. And I thought long and hard about it this week, and I think I have come up with a better solution to this problem. One of the best ways to enjoy revenge, is simply by being successful. So therefore, I intend simply to beat Kate Steele for the championship she used as a weapon. I should be mad about this whole thing, but from what I know of Kate Steele, as of now, it really isn’t going to change anything.
I mean, Kate Steele is quite the interesting case.
I can only assume that being Roulette champion has worn off on her, and made her behavior as erratic as the match types. How else does one explain how she has done so many changes in the short amount of time she’s been around? I constantly see Kate change her mind, be friendly one day, and a total jerk the next. Or, in some cases, a jerk one minute, and friendly the next. As far as I can tell, Kate will buddy up to everyone, simply to turn on them when it’s convenient. I mean, she turns on the fans, and sides with Crystal Hilton, and then like 3 weeks later, turns on Crystal Hilton. For what reason, I don’t know. But then turns around and wants to be friends with everyone afterward. I almost think, that Kate may have some kind of neurological disorder. Almost like a split personality
Or… no… what do they call it? Dissociative identity disorder. Yeah, that’s it. It’s like Kate is two different people sometimes.
Gasp! Maybe she’s like the Hulk and Bruce Banner! Only smaller, and with red hair.
Or green hair. Or blonde hair, or blue hair.
Okay, maybe it’s the hair dye that does it. I remember her hair being red, And she wants to be my best friend because we have red hair. This seems like an incredibly trivial thing to want to try and befriend someone over, and really, seems really shallow. And seems to cry out for attention. I’m friendly, sure. I’m friendly with everybody, even if they hate me. I have at least, respect for them as a human being. Kate clearly is a little different. She seems to try and find the most basic shared interests and then goes off into varying stages of friendships. I guess we’re like best friends or something because of our red hair and nothing else. But given her track record, and her changing her hair color. I imagine it’s not going to be the friendliest discourse between us.
I say that as a friend. I know that as a wrestler, Kate Steele is good. She has to be, she’s won championships in just about every place she’s ever been. Not everyone is that lucky you know? There must be something that keeps Kate Steele around in on people’s lips. But sadly, I would assume it’s her random drop of a dime mood swings and complete dismissal of logic and facts when they are presented against her. She changes her mind constantly, contradicts herself repeatedly in the same argument. She has put herself as some kind of musician complete with band, but how many Ignorant Discord records has anyone heard? It’s almost like all this is jumbled in her brain as okay to do. I’ve seen this. It’s such a shame, that someone as talented as Kate Steele actually is, is buried under all that hulabaloo.
The real question I guess is, who is the real Kate Steele? Is she some technical genius wrestler? A wizard on the ground and at making people tap? I don’t exactly know when this happened as I have never seen her ever tweet, or mention ever taking any lessons in submission fighting, or Jiu-jitsu. It seems these skills have popped up out of nowhere. Like she was watching MMA or UFC and decided that was cool and she should make the claim of being great at submission. Even though now, she has backed off from that whole “best submissionist in the game” tag. Even still, I must watch for this obviously. I take everything I know about a person into account when facing them.
I also assume that she’s an expert in ladder matches too, since her new nickname, if I’m not mistaken, was the “Siren of Ladder matches” or something. Even though she had previously said she hated ladder matches. It gets really tough to gameplan for someone who, for all intents and purposes, is a jack of all trades and a master of none. Sometimes I begin to wonder from Kate’s behavior if she even knows what she’s good at, or if something comes her way she just assumes she can do it. I guess one needs that kind of confidence going into random matches.
But, maybe I’m wrong about all this, and Kate is pretty much a master troll and is really luring us all into a false sense of security and she is the most dangerous bombshell in SCW. Maybe she’s simply amazing and just plays dumb and completely aloof as a huge troll to everyone in SCW. I mean, she has been Roulette champion closing in on 5 months. She has bested quite a few people along the way. Is Kate Steele secretly like this amazing chameleon-like wrestler, able to adapt to anything? Has she been playing us all for saps this whole time? That would be some amazing acting that even Crystal Millar would be jealous of.
Or, is it just that Kate Steele is a fraud? Is she just trendy and hopping on whatever suits her fancy at the moment and ending up being just able to sneak away with wins as she goes seemingly through a mid-life crisis at 24? At times, I am very concerned for her mental well-being. But even then, it’s taken with a grain of salt. Kate has at times reveled in the fact that she’s like this, basically a human mood ring, complete with hair color to match. Perhaps beating her will be some kind of relief to her. Perhaps I can help her realize that this flip-flopping insanity isn’t healthy.
Though, at this point, I highly doubt it.
And that’s not to mention her husband basically in her corner, almost putting her in no-win situations. I’m amazed that after all the trouble he gets Kate into, that Kate even allows him near her. But then again, it’s almost like Kate wears the pants anyway in that relationship. How else would a man tolerate his wife basically admitting on social media she’s hooked up with other women and whatnot? Again, I think someone needs to sit Kate down and explain to her how things work in the real world. What Kate Steele does would not and should not be seen by anyone as acceptable or normal behavior. I am unsure how both family and friends can look at her and thing there isn’t someone crying out for help, and confusing it for attention. Because it certainly seems that way to me.
None the less, I take this match with Kate Steele, and I intend to defeat her, and complete the grand slam. It’s not going to be easy, I never expected it to be. I know that probably after hearing this, Kate and Teddy will probably be very angry with me, and say some pretty mean things about superheroes and stuff, but I hope that they understand that, despite being an opponent, I do really want Kate to get some help after all these troubling issues I see. I am not the only one, and I hate to almost pile on the problems, but I am dead set on beating Kate Steele for the Roulette title. Call it greedy if you must, it’s something I want. I asked for this chance, and I need to make it count.
Grand Slam, Triple Crown, however many wins it is, I want that this week. I am almost sorry it has to come at Kate’s expense. Almost.
I can’t help but feel like even beating her, will not solve her problem or bring her back to reality. Goodness if she starts saying she’s a superhero, you’ll know that’s she’s off the deep end.
I wish Kate luck. The decent part of her anyway. I will see her, and all of you, Sunday.
