Is anyone out there ready to shout!!!!!!!!

And is anyone out there ready to blow the roof off of the building because this week on an exciting edition of Climax Control the Siren walks into her biggest challenge yet in an SCW ring. She gets to step into the ring with the likes of Alexis Edwards for the special honour of being called the Internet Champion and it’s something that truly brings a smile to my face because this championship could be the small start of bigger and better things. A Championship that came into existence a little less than a year ago, and on it’s one year anniversary I can walk into Reno and actually become the champion, and that’s something that really brings a smile to my face.

Only the best of the best have held this championship starting with Joanne Canelli who held this championship after holding the Tag Team and Roulette Championship. You have Roxi Johnson who is the nicest bombshell on the entire roster and even she held this championship after holding the Bombshell Championship multiple times. You have Amy Marshall who is a grandslam champion, Lucy who is now going towards tag contention and it has found it’s way to Alexis.

Alexis a woman who brings a sense of youthfulness to the championship but as good as she might be or as good as she “thinks” she might be I am not going to let her stand in the way of what should be mine because an opportunity like this was exactly the one that I was looking for. Ever since I came to this company my eyes were locked on getting into a title contention some time and here it is staring me down and I don’t want to be the woman that was too afraid to chase the moment when the chance arose.

I have had other opportunities in the past such as the chance to become the Queen for a day or even that first round match when a contender was trying to be determined for Mikah’s belt, and both of those matches ended in ways that really didn’t sit too well with me.

I was the first one thrown out of that battle royal and as far as that opening round triple threat match goes. It’s kind of funny to me that I lost that match by being pinned by the likes of Alexis, and normally I would be one to take my losses in stride. Accept them with a bit of humility and move on but how in the hell am I supposed to move on when Alexis didn’t even win that match?

Everyone saw what was going down in the middle of that ring. I had my triangle choke locked tightly on Alexis. She was mere inches from tapping out like a little girl in the middle of the ring but Celeste was there to save Alexis from doing so.

In fact it was Celeste who caught me with her homicidal move and she laid me out simply placing Alexis on top of me for her to pick up the win.

Alexis won because somebody else won that match for her, but I knew going into that match it was going to be two nobodies versusing me. I knew that the chance of actually winning was a lost cause and despite what the finish was.

The whole world saw what was going to happen. Alexis Edwards was going to tap out and she can say whatever she wants about it, as a matter of fact I believe I did approach her on Twitter after that match and told her good job on that win, and she told me flat out she couldn’t even consider it a win.

And the reasoning is simple… It’s because she DIDN’T win that match. Celeste won it for her. So while the record books will show that Alexis did physically pin me to move on in the tournament the truth is it’s not like she would remember it because I had choked her out. She was out like a light, and that’s when Celeste came in and picked me apart.

But it’s fine because a match like that didn’t make me, and it damn sure didn’t break me. There was one shining gem from that triple threat match though and in the long run when push came to shove people saw that I had what it took to take the Internet Champion to her limit, and now here we are like two months removed from that match.

I am not looking down at another clusterfuck of a match. Oh no Alexis it’s simply going to be you and I in that ring. One on one, and there won’t be anyone to save you this time around. I have beaten the likes of the number one Roulette contender. I have taken other various women to their limit and at Climax Control I plan to do the same thing to you, and this time I don’t plan to walk away empty handed.

It had been a while since Kate had returned to the house that she grew up in since moving to America. A while as in a few months but hey who is keeping track?! Anyway Kate has a suitcase locked tightly in her hands as she made her way up the stairs. Her father always wanted her to announce her presence but Kate didn’t bother with any of that as in her eyes this was her home and nothing would ever change that. She stuck the key in the door and she turned it slightly before pushing the door open. It had been a while since Kate had seen her father or her sister for that matter but Kate was eager to see the both of them. Not to mention that being in New York meant that she could also take a short trip to time square the following night if she chose to see the ball drop.

“I’d make a snarky comment but you don’t listen anyway.” Came a stern voice not too far off, a fit young woman with long brown hair tied back in a tight ponytail. Morgan, Lucius Steele’s housekeeper. The young woman didn’t just look after the house, she was literally its keeper, so when Kate made herself at home (like she usually did) it always bugged the woman. Wearing a tidy button up top and slacks Morgan stood, arms crossed as she stared at Kate. “You honestly have zero respect for other people’s things don’t you.”

“Are we going to start this again?” The Siren growled back in return as she looked outside the door staring at her suitcases in her doorway. “Although if you really want to start… I do believe that a guest has some suitcases out in the doorway. Why don’t you be a good housekeeper and
bring them in…” Kate smiled in return, but Morgan wasn’t laughing. Kate however walks outside the house as she grabs the two bags in her hand and brings them inside. Her eyes met with the fit housekeeper.

“Look Morgan” Kate’s voice cracks. “A new year is approaching us… Why don’t we just settle whatever issues we have and leave them in 2015. I know I haven’t been the easiest person to be around. Coming home drunk to the point you often felt more like a babysitter than an actual housekeeper but let’s just come to an understanding. Friends and to a fresh start?” Kate stuck her hand out as she glared directly into Morgan’s eyes.

Morgan’s cold gaze didn’t waver for a second as she shook Kate’s hand. “This means from now on you knock or use the doorbell like a normal human being. This is not your house, nor is it ever go-” Morgan stopped as the sound of someone clearing their throat could be heard. Morgan sighed as Lucius Steele made his way down the steps.

“She gets the message, Morgan. Knock or use the buzzer, I am sure it’s not that complicated. Right Kath-Lyn?” Said the Patriarch of the Steele family, holding out his arms for a hug from his daughter.

Kate however looked back at Morgan before she continues to shake Morgan’s hand before turning it into her hug. Her eyes meet with that of her father and she immediately runs over to him and gives him a long passionate hug. She squeezes the life out of him as her eyes meet with his.

“Hey daddy… Long time no see… Did Samara get here yet?! I have to tell you both something!” She said with a huge grin on her lips as she refused to let go of him.

“Samara was here, but she’s off making preparations and such for the IceDog show, sadly you’ll only have me until tonight. Must be big, the last time you come home with bags and everything and...did you and Todd?” He raised a brow. “What did he do?”

Kate’s eyes meet with her father as she slowly backs away from him before she waves his hands. “OH no! It’s not like that… Yes I know the last time it was because we both were going through a separation process but I just wanted to spend some time with you. Every time we come to this area he ends up spending some time with his family on Long Island and that’s when you get the pleasure of seeing me. I was hoping that Samara could be here so I could break the news to both of you at the same time but I guess she’ll have to kill me later…”

Kate smiles as her eyes meet with Morgan’s before she slowly turns her attention back to her father.

“Well you know how last month I was in the Toronto area? Well during me and Todd’s trip there it really opened our eyes about a few things, and no it’s not about my best friend’s mother. What caught us is that we were just walking through the downtown area and an orphanage caught Todd and I. They were in dire need for a Santa Claus because the one that was supposed to come there got a flat tire somewhere. So Todd filled in as a Santa and I got to dressed up as an elf. It was just so awesome to be there for all of those underprivileged children. We used some of my inherited fortune to give the kids toys, clothes, bicycles and everything else. It was just fun to really give back to them…”

“Well that’s really sweet of you, sounds like you and Todd are finally starting to rebuild your relationship.”

Kate smiles wider than before. “Well it’s a start that’s for sure but something caught our attention and it came in the form of a little girl that we met named Julia. The past couple of weeks Todd’s been pushing really hard for us to have children and I told him that I wasn’t ready to walk away for my wrestling career for nine months to have one. I am nearing the prime of my career and I just don’t want to derail what I been doing by having to sit out. You of everyone know how passionate I am when it comes to doing something. It get’s to the point where I try to do like 10 things at once….”

Kate says with a giggle looking back at her dad.

“Yeah… I become SUPER passionate but the big thing is this little girl is exactly like the one I fantasized at having. She’s four years old. She has red hair and her name is Juliet. That’s exactly what I wanted. So instead of getting pregnant we are considering adoption… No we ARE going to adopt that little girl and we are going to try to give her the best home that we could give her. So while she might not be of our blood I just wanted to let you know that you will be a grandfather and that Samara will be an Auntie, and I hope you are going to be proud for me taking this next step in life…”

Lucius just stared at Kate, not a single word or expression just a deadpan stare. Morgan cleared her throat and slinked away. “I’ll...um...go get...things...or stuff...” She mumbled before hightailing it out of the discussion. Lucius took off his glasses and pulled out a kerchief from his pocket to clean them, letting out a long sigh.

“Not a few months ago you weren’t even living with Todd. And now over the course of, what a few weeks? You’ve decided that you’re going to adopt a child who is just like your fantasies. Luv, a child is a job in and of itself. Trust me, I may not have been there I but I sure as hell know what I missed.” He still just looked at her, the way only her father could.

“I know dad…” Kate says back as she tries to plead with him. “I know it’s going to take a lot of work but I know I can do it… I know me and Todd can do it, and I want your support every step of the way. I was told I would never be a good musician and I went from being just a rhythm guitarist of a band to being the front woman and having my own band. I was always told I was too small for wrestling and I won multiple championships in my short 3 year career, and now I can take those same principles and apply it to motherhood. Why do you feel I can’t do it?”

“Did I say you can’t do it?” He replied rather short. “I don’t recall stating anything of the sort. My concern is if you are simply ready. I was not the best father, by far, and I know that. But ...” He sighed. “This is a life changing event. Wrestling you could quit, music you could quit, but a child? Once you adopt you can never, ever stop being that parent. It’s entirely different. Am I making sense?”

“I have done some stupid things in my life but one thing I would never do is quit on my daughter. After all I would be taking her out of that orphanage and I wouldn’t be doing that if I didn’t think I could give her a better life. She deserves that much from us, and Todd isn’t really doing much. I have it all mapped out. When we are wrestling and have to travel we have mom to look after her. She has no intention of leaving the Tampa area so she would be willing to do that. Plus Dawn & Cindy would be willing to help. We could make this work. It will be a long process but we can actually do it dad. It’s not something that will happen overnight. As it’s an international adoption but I want this badly and I am willing to work for it…”

Kate begins to slightly cry as her eyes never lose sight of her father. “Do you believe in me dad? Do you think I can do this?”

“....stop crying.” He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “You cannot jump off the bloody handle with a single question, Kath-Lyn. People are going to question this, and I do not just mean peers or family. You are going to be under the radar of children’s services as well, as you know several parents who have had their children come to harm way, or are not home enough to even be a parent. I trust that’s not you, I know that’s not you, but they don’t. And if asking questions or poking you for answers results in...this every time?” He motioned to her teary nature. “Not good.”

Lucius stepped away from Kate to run a hand through his hair. “If you’re dead set on then I won’t stop you, and I’ll support you as best I can. And only use your mother, myself, Cindy or whoever when you can’t be home. And that’s not a want, that’s CAN’T. I chose to put work over my family and I regret it every moment. Do not do the same.”

“ I won’t you taught me better than that daddy, and the time that we did spend together was precious and it was worth it. Like how you bought me that Joan Jett autographed guitar even to taking me to see her get inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame. It was all worth it and I cherish it all. The great times that we had I want to extend that my future daughter. It would be a blessing if you did, and as far Sam… Well I expect her to spoil Juliet just like an aunt should….”

Kate wipes the tears out of her eyes as she cracks a simple grin.

“But in all seriousness though this just seems right to me… Todd himself is a product of adoption so why can’t there be another successful story featuring the Warrens. It seems fitting right?”

“Never questioned that. Hell your sister is godmother to an adopted girl and there are many other adopted children about, it’s not unheard of. Though please...do not use your husband as an example of the byproduct of adoption. It’s not a selling point.” He chuckled.

“Hey the Warrens did a great job and just look at their actual children. Dawn is a lovely girl, and Jimmy well… He’s such a douc…. He’s a doctor… Yes an actual doctor granted he drives Cindy up a wall often but they are good people, and my Todd is truly my big fat teddy bear. Such a sweetie and I know he will be an awesome dad. Just because YOU don’t feel he’s a proper son in law has nothing to do with how he will be as a father dad. Cut him some slack… He’s motivated if that helps… I mean he gets owned every time he tries to debate with that Gabby Camacho girl but that still doesn’t stop him from trying right… Same thing when he argues with Sam…”

“My point still stands. But this is your decision, you are a woman now. Not a girl. You are an adult and if you feel you are ready to be a mother, then who am I to stand in your way. Heck, I’m sure Emma could give you pointers.” He smiled.

Kate rolled her eyes.

“Yeah I am sure she would just soooooooo be ready to give me some advice...But on a serious note thank you so much for just really believing in me and thank you for being a dad. I knew you would come around and give me your blessing. I love you so much dad…”

Kate gets up as she runs over to her father and embraces him into a tight passionate hug as she looks back into his eyes. He hugs her back.

“But...I was serious...”

“Oh… Well I am not going to pay any attention to that, and on a side note… You are totally going to wait for hours upon hours in the cold tomorrow with me to see the ball drop right? You can’t say no… After all isn’t that what being a father is all about. Trying to do your best to be there for your child’s needs? Will this child NEEDS to see the ball drop in person. Something I have never done before!” Kate says with a wicked grin.






So it looks like on the night of Climax Control I am really stuck in a predicament. Do I try do the impossible and not only put myself in the battle royal to get a shot at Mikah and then go on to fight Alexis in the same night to potentially win the Internet Championship? While it would definitely be a great feat and I know almost everyone will want to throw themselves into the fray of the battle royal. I am personally going on the record that I am going to decline the opportunity for the simple reason that I don’t want to burn myself out before my match with Alexis.

I want to be at my absolute best when I step in the ring and challenge her for the championship and I don’t want anything to deter away from that moment. While everyone else might have their eyes on what that battle royal represents. For me the big thing to do is winning a championship and letting the rest of my journey in SCW create the path for me. When the time comes that I am ready to fight for the SCW Bombshell Championship it will come in it’s time. I don’t need to force anything.

The only thing I have my sight on at Climax Control is Alexis and I am locking my sight on her and ONLY her. Everything else that happens during the course of the night is irrelevant to me. The thing about the Internet Championship is that it’s a title that my sister in law Cindy had her eyes on but she was never able to win it. Going back to that Ultimate X Assault match Cindy was one of the original eight that competed for it but she fell short in winning it, and while it would be a personal matter to enter that battle royal and personal get rid of Mikah as she has said some means things about my family in Cindy.

What means the most to the Warren name is walking out of Climax Control as the Internet Champion and prying it from Alexis hands would leave me with a smirk on her face..

Last week Twisted Sister softened up Alexis for me and I am forever grateful for what she did but I don’t want to beat Alexis because she was a little banged up. I want to beat her because I am simply the better wrestler and I can showcase by beating her in the center of the ring. I can do that by making her tap out for all the world to see and when it happens I will be crowned as your new champion.

So Alexis here’s some advice for you. I know you are 19 years old and on the verge of becoming 20 in a few weeks but please don’t enter that battle royal. Don’t try to put your eggs in too many baskets because if you do that I will infact beat you. It’s not something I stating might happen. It’s something that WILL happen! I am the first one who knows what it feels like to want to try to do much.

It’s pretty much been the story of my entire life. I go through life trying to balance between being the best musician I possibly can while being a wrestler while trying to dye my hair a different colour every single week. I try to balance being friends with just about everyone and for me personally it just doesn’t work. I don’t want to ever be in a position when someone thinks I am doing too much and while I do love singing and playing a music instrument, and I love the small simple things in life.

My passion, my lively hood is competing in that center of that ring, and nothing else can come in front of my love of wrestling.

Well maybe my family, and my husband, but you all get what I am trying to get it.

Wrestling is what I live and die for and I will be damn if I let some nobody beat on someone who is willing to become a somebody. The biggest way to get some respect in this business is to win a championship and I know I have all the tools that it takes to actually win one. Now it’s just a matter of actually doing it and I proved to everyone I have what it takes to beat you.

If Celeste was never a part of the equation who knows what would have happened. You were mighty close to tapping out, but I can’t sit here and dwell in the past because right now. Right now it’s you and I one on one in that ring, and what happened in this past stays in the past. The only thing that matters right now is what is going to go down in that ring when it’s the two of us.

I am ready for whatever you throw at me Alexis… The real question is are you ready in return? Are you ready for a woman so determined to beat you in that center of that ring?

You may have gotten a defense over Lyah but I am ready for you… I live and die for the moment and at Climax Control you will be stepping into the ring with a Siren.

All it takes is one Siren’s Song. One Siren’s Song to lure you right in.

To lure you right into the trap. I know this match is something that might entice you. A chance to defend your belt. A chance to move forward in your title reign and perhaps break Roxi Johnson’s reign as champion.

It all does sound good and it even looks good on paper but the thing about Siren’s is that sweet sound that you hear. That’s not necessarily a good thing. It’s the song that’s going to lead to your demise. It’s the tune of your death sentence and once that sweet song comes to an end you will find yourself SHIPWRECKED!

Brace yourself because by the end of the night I will have my hands raised in victory and  I will be your new Internet Champion…

Kate Steele was resting on her bed. Her eyes on the ceiling as she was clad in a pair of Chelsea FC pajama bottoms and despite it being the a few days before her big title match her husband couldn’t help but go on and on about his Jets from last Sunday’s game.

“I can’t believe those sorry ass “BLEEPING” Jets… How in the hell do you let the Buffalo Bills just beat us. How do you let yourself not get into the playoffs because of Rex Ryan… It just doesn’t make sense, and out of the blue you have Pittsburgh just sneaking into the playoffs. It’s just so stupid to me. All we had to do was win and we were in and we couldn’t do that…”

Kate sighed as she rolled her eyes as she just wanted it to stop. She was as big of a fan… Well no not really after all she was only a fan because HE was a major fan. She tried to cover her ears but that didn’t stop him from whining so much.

“Look Todd it’s just a bloody game. Chelsea has been sucking it up but you don’t see me crying about it do you?!”

Todd shook his head in return gazing back into his wife’s eyes. “Yeah but that’s soccer… No one watches that crap except for you obsessed English people… We were talking about football a real sport…”

“...” Kate is speechless as she just rolls her eyes at him as she tries her best to soothe him. “Look it’s only a game it’s going to blow over…”

“BLOW OVER?! It’s just torment. It’s just tormenting my soul. My Mets lost in the World Series and does anyone appreciate the Mets on their miracle run?! Of course not because they are still salty that the stupid Cubs didn’t make it...Eff the Cubbies and their pretentious fans… I refuse to even talk about Basketball…”

“And what exactly is wrong with basketball?”

“For starters the Nets are trash but there is a saving grace Kate… We still got Uconn for college basketball and I swear the Devils better not let me down… And another thing…”

Before he could even finish his sentence there is a knock at the door. Kate immediately jumps up as she rushes over to the door. She swings it open and that’s when she is able to see Todd’s brother Jimmy and his wife Cindy standing in the hallway. Jimmy smiles as he comes into the room wearing a Cam Newton jersey and he can’t help but start  dabbing. As he walks over to his brother. Todd just stands there speechless looking at the two Charlotte natives.

“Ok you can cut that out Jimmy…”

“Look at my Dab! Show em Cyn…”

Cindy looks at the both of them as she begins to shake her head.

“Yeah… No we didn’t come all the way just for you two to get in some brother rivalry over sports… After all Instead of worrying about sports what we should have her eyes on is Kate over here. She can do something I never managed to do in SCW and actually win a championship…”

Cindy smiles back at everyone in the room. Kate however shrugs her shoulders as she hugs Cindy in return.

“You sure you aren’t upset about everything Cyn?!”

Cindy quickly shakes her head staring directly into Crystal’s eyes.

“Why would I be upset?! Look I had my chance at glory in the company. I had like four opportunities at winning a championship and I failed in every single one but you… You this is what you live for my mind was always too much on those patients I was leaving behind in the hospital but you are in the position to do something I couldn’t. It really pained me to see Joanne reach up and grab that championship and how I was forced to be out of the loop for the months following but that’s not you Kate because when you are passionate about something you actually do it…”

“I guess you do have a point but this whole thing with the adoption and…”

“Sweetie adopting internationally is a long process in itself and you have your whole life to think about being a mother. Don’t try to rush too fast into things. I think that was my downfall in the end not that I am saying I don’t love Terra. Because trust me to Jimmy and I she is our whole life, but we were focused on growing up so fast that when we reached our young adult life we couldn’t focus on anything but her...but you Kate. You aren’t in that position right now…”

Jimmy smiles as he nods his head in agreement.

“You know she’s right. I mean you are only 24 but my brother here is about to hit 30 this year. His old ass doesn’t have his whole life ahead of you but at least you do…”

“Jimmy just get out of my room, who even invited you in here in the first place?!”

The two brother continue to argue with one another as Cindy yells.

“Would you two stop arguing?! After all sports, your arguments, all of that can wait. It’s all about Kate, and we need to be here for her… I know you have a lot on your mind. If you are good enough. Do you have what it takes? So many thoughts running through your mind. Just keep it all locked away because none of it even matters. Everything that’s going through your head just clear it… The only thing that matters is you fighting Alexis and giving her the best that you have… Everything else doesn’t matter… Don’t try to be better than me… Because you honestly have been way better than I ever could be. Just focus on you, and accomplishing things for yourself… Don’t get caught up in doing this for the Warrens and as a way to redeem what was my career. Fight to make yourself better and the rest will come…”

Cindy smiles as she grins at everyone.

“Who knows all of us might be dabbing for you… Once you win that Internet Championship and bring it around your waist…”

“Thank you Cyn… I needed to hear that.. It’s much better than hearing Todd vent about the Jets over and over again…”

“Oh you too? At least you don’t have to deal with Jimmy being a sore winner over how his team is doing…”

The two wives of the Warrens can’t help but grin at one another as they leave the room leaving Todd and Jimmy to stare at one another. They quickly follow them out of the room as we leave this moment.
