Chapter 1: After it
UWF’s British Massacre had come and pass with the Clan being victorious against the Band. The whole gang went out and currently planned to party all night long including Lucy and Lucien believe it or not. Yes our famous anti-social Clan members were actually doing something socialable. But don’t count your chickens that’ll happen again. Lucien was playing with lighter as Lucy was buried reading “The Hobbit†in Russian.
Lucien: Why did I agree to be here again?
Lucy didn’t answer him. She didn’t feel like having to put up with her brother right now. Another snap of Lucien’s lighter though caught Lucy’s attention. Lucien had noticed and Lucy promptly put her book down, marking the page she was on.
Lucy: I’m not okay. I came because I figured it would take my mind off of him.
Lucien: Which him? Claude or Father?
Lucy sighed and took a sip of her drink.
Lucy: Take a guess.
Lucien: Both I’d say. Claude for Rachel’s sake and our Father for humanity’s sake.
Lucy only nodded. She knew Lucien felt really out of place here and secretly Lucy felt so too. For the Seraphina twins they knew this was going to be a long night. Lucien was already getting annoyed and Lucy wanted to leave but at the same time wanted to stay.
Lucien: Lucy?
Lucy: Yeah?
Lucien: Do you ever think we’ll find Dad?
Lucy wasn’t sure, for years the whole entire clan has been trying Anisim Seraphina, Lucy and Lucien’s Father to answer for his crimes. Lucy didn’t feel like she could answer her younger twin’s question. She knew that he knew the answer already. Lucy went to look Lucien in the eyes and when she did she could see his pain.
Lucy: I dunno Luce. Honestly I don’t know. Melanie believes she has found him and that’s the only hope we have for us. I know I want to find him just as bad as everyone else. He has gotten away with some much for so long! Lucien how many days have we woken up screaming from his terror of the past? How many more hunts do we have to go on? How much longer do we have? We’re all so tired and we want this to end. It’s not easy on any of us and it’s making Mel work more to the bone. It doesn’t help that both Niko and Gabe are in the hospital and with Rachel…well you can see the Mistress state is in play. She wants her man back and she’s going to walk through Hell in order to get him back. Stefan did promise that we’d find him and he said that Claude could handle Father. I remember when Claude ended up saving my life when Anisim stabbed me. He’s powerful but he did fall to Father before when you were under his control.
Lucien nodded.
Lucy: Lucien we’re strong and we have to keep being strong.
Lucien: I’ll try my best sister.
Lucy: I know that’s all I ask for.
Lucien: Have you fed?
Lucy blinked in shock and nodded.
Lucy: Earlier I did no worries.
Lucien started to laugh. Lucy looked at him like he lost his mind.
Lucien: I’m sorry, just I’ve heard things. Something I find funny though.
Lucy: Spill it Lucien.
Lucien: I think this guy we work with might have a crush on you.
Lucy: Oh really? Know the name?
Lucien: Nah, I didn’t catch it.
Lucy: Oh…okay.
Lucien: What? Don’t tell me you’re thinking about it.
Lucy: What are you talking about?
Lucien: Going to find this guy.
Lucy blushed.
Lucy: I won’t, I always let the man make the first move…or well woman if I was a lesbian.
Lucien patted her head.
Lucien: So what about your match?
Lucy: I’m going up against Nurse Warren; her husband was in UWF for a short time. They’re interesting for sure but I’m confident that I’ll end up winning against her. It’s not me being arrogant at all it’s me being honest. I hear in the back that she’s not up to par. Pity on that honestly. I bet the girl does have talent just isn’t using it to her full potential. Look at us though, look at our family…we have and I plan on taking a win home from us. I wish the Nurse luck but she’s going to have to call for a doctor after this. Ladies and gents, I’m “the wisdom angel†and “Night’s assassin†at Climax Control I take down my target. I’m Lucy Seraphina and I’m coming at you.
