Rocking the wrestling world, one match at a time.

Jessie may have lost, yet again, to Necra but this week she had more pressing issues on her mind as the newly formed tag team the Metal and Punk Connection which consisted of herself and Amy Marshall where teaming up for the first time to take on Marisol Hawkes and Tiami Taylor where the winning team had the chance to challenge the new Bombshell Tag Champions at Into the Void III, this may be Jessie’s first time teaming with Amy but the two Bombshells know each other well as opposed to Marisol and Tiami who were teaming for the first time and didn’t know each other at all but can the Metal and Punk Connection win?

Sometimes, to send a message, you need allies.

That was pretty much my thought process when I approached Amy to propose the tag team to her, she was reluctant at first but she agreed once I went into detail but I guess that leaves one question, what exactly is the message that I’m trying to send by teaming up with Amy Marshall?

The answer is the following “bombshells”, Liz Smalls, Delia Darling and the Mean Girls and Katherine Kensington.

What do they have in common? They are spoiled brats who fucking suck in the ring and somehow they have a contract with Sin City Wrestling, Misty’s pretty much retired, Odette is on her way out, again, after that stunt she pulled on Christian last Sunday night with Gabriel’s help and whilst there are still some bad-ass Bombshells left, me, Amy, our opponents, Electra and Roxi just to name a few, we are getting overshadowed by those talentless whores!

We will be overshadowed no more!

That’s our mission, rid SCW of these so called Bombshells and let the real Bombshell Division shine like it once did, when I posted that tweet about me pining for the days where the only snobby, bitchy bombshell on the roster was Delia Darling I meant every god damn word of it and I’ll be damned if the women’s division that helped me home my skills to what they are today goes the way of a certain other company’s women’s division!

You know the one!

So what am I up too? For one thing we’re planning out the Bloodstock weekend because at one point Jake said “holy shit! We’re two months away from Bloodstock and we have no plans for the festival!” and then Steve approached us because he and his family realized that they had the same problem, especially since Sophie’s birthday is on the Saturday night!

Yeah, we started planning a meeting immediately!

We agreed to meet at a small café in Tempe, Arizona to plan things out and hopefully reach a consensus on what to do over the weekend, that was last week in case you can’t tell and the day’s arrived that we are holding the meeting.

And yeah, I’ll try to squeeze in my promo for the tag team match as well!

“Okay, how about we start with a list of bands that we all want to see?” Jake offered as the waitress handed over our drinks and we thanked her. “Jess, you have the line-up on your laptop right?”

“Yeah, I have it right here.” I responded before turning the screen around so that the others could see it before turning it around again. “Where should we start?”

“How about we start with high priority bands, bands that we must see no matter what!” Steve offered and the others nodded. “And I’ll start by throwing in two names to the hat, Hatebreed and Amon Amarth.”

“I’m going to have to contest Hatebreed.” Shane chimed in and we turned to him. “Amon Amarth, yeah we all pretty much agreed that they were a must see when they were confirmed as the Sunday Night Special Guests but Hatebreed? They are a hardcore band!”

“Yeah, a hardcore band who wrote my second ever SCW theme.” I pointed out and Shane frowned when he realized my point. “Besides, you saw the circle pits that were formed during Hatebreed’s set in 2012.”

“Circle pits that were easily outclassed by Machine Head’s later that night.” Shane pointed out and I rolled my eyes. “And I’m not even a big Machine Head fan!”

“How about we take a vote, all in favor of Hatebreed raise your hand.” Steve offered and everyone at the table except Shane raised their hands immediately. “Sorry Shane, you’ve been outvoted!”

“Damn it!” Shane cursed under his breath as Steve wrote the names down. “Okay, it’s my turn and I’m naming three bands, Bloodshot Dawn, Decapitated and Aborted.”

“I can’t really argue there.” Steve responded with a shrug and we all nodded in agreement, thank god this café is pretty quiet right now because Shane would be getting some dirty looks over the last name.

“Come on Shane, no love for Carcass and Children of Bodom?” I chimed in and Shane frowned when he realized that he had missed those bands. “Also I’m throwing in votes for Saxon and Flotsam and Jetsam.”

“Good choices all around.” Steve nodded as he wrote the names down. “I can’t believe we haven’t touched the headliners yet.”

“Down are out, we tried getting into their music when they were confirmed but they were too boring.” Jake chimed in and I and Shane nodded in agreement. “Emperor are pretty much a must see especially looking at their performances at other festivals.”

“Okay, so we’ll be in the Sophie Lancaster Tent for Friday Night, main stage for Saturday and Sunday night, what about the midday?” Shane asked and we paused.

“I think we should give the new blood stage a look this year, we kept meaning too last year but we kept putting it off until the festival ended.” I pointed out and we all nodded in agreement. “We may discover some kick ass bands whilst we’re in there for all we know.”

“Okay, so New Blood is under maybe, if there’s nothing good on at the other stages then maybe we’ll find something good there.” Steve responded as he wrote down the stage name. “Who’s headlining the Sophie Stage Jessie?”

“Let’s see….” I responded as I scrolled down the line-up. “Phil Campbell’s All Star Band are headlining Thursday Night, they played the Jägermeister Stage right before Slayer last year but we didn’t catch them, Rotting Christ are playing Friday Night, I guess the only way to get them to play at the same festival as Megadeth was that they were on different stages and days, technically Sister Sin are headlining Saturday but Hellyeah are playing right after them.”

“I don’t know about you guys but I’ll be heading back to the hotel if that’s the case.” Shane sighed as he shook his head. “And that’s if Emperor’s set doesn’t end right before Hellyeah’s!”

“We won’t find that out until Bloodstock releases the stage times so let’s not make any plans like that just yet.” Steve pointed out and Shane nodded in agreement. “What about Sunday Night Jess?”

“A New Wave of British Heavy Metal band called Satan are the Sunday Headliners, surprised Megadeth haven’t thrown a fit over that yet.” I responded as I shook my head. “They’ve been around for a while but I’ve still haven’t gotten around to checking out their stuff.”

“I looked up their bio earlier, apparently they’ve had about as many name changes as they had line-up changes but they are pretty influential in the proto-thrash scene.” Steve responded after thinking for a moment. “But like you I haven’t checked out their stuff.”

“How about we play it safe and put the Sophie Stage headliners under maybe?” Jake asked and Steve nodded before putting it down. “Any others you can think off?”

“Not really to be honest, how about we just take it as it comes for the other bands?” I offered and they all nodded. “So, hotel’s booked right?”

“I took care of that last night.” Jake responded with a nod. “Same with air travel and other stuff, we’ll also need to write down a list of Bloodstock Essentials to buy once we’re in England.”

“I’ll take care of that, don’t worry about it.” Steve responded with a nod. “Is there anything else?”

“Yeah, what to do if this year’s Summer XXXTreme is the same week as Bloodstock?” Shane asked with a frown. “We were lucky last year but still.”

“If that happens we’ll sell the tickets and put them towards Bloodstock 2015.” Jake responded with a frown. “But hopefully it won’t come to that.”

“Agreed, and how about we change the subject before we jinx it?” Steve offered and we nodded in agreement, after how much fun we had at Bloodstock last year I don’t even want to think about that possibility.

“Well Jess, you have a match this week and it’s a big one.” Shane eventually chimed in and I grinned knowing what he meant. “If we’re going to change the subject to anything may as well make it that.”

“Agreed, and as far as the Metal and Punk Connection goes the tag titles will be our first priority, the rest can come later.” I added with a grin. “Marisol and Tiami are good, don’t get me wrong but they haven’t been in the company for as long as I have and I knew Amy before forming the team.”

“Well if you want to get technical this is Tiami’s return to Sin City Wrestling.” Steve pointed out as he shifted his weight. “And the last time you faced her was a while back.”

“Yeah, I beat her in a Roulette Rules match that ended up being a Hardcore Bra and Panties match and then I went on to win the Bombshell Roulette Title for about two weeks.” I sighed as I shook my head. “No thanks to the Team Erick fiasco.”

“Yeah I don’t think Erick will be trying something like that again considering how badly it ended for him.” Steve pointed out with a grin. “And besides, if he did his choices of Bombshells would include the Mean Girls and Liz Smalls.”

“Oh good god, I’d give him a week before he decided to call that off because of having to put up with them.” I responded with a laugh as I shook my head. “And even then I might be too generous in saying that!”

“Yeah, just a bit.” Steve responded as he shook his head. “Anyway, Marisol and Tiami are both tough ladies, think you can take them?”

“I beat Tiami during her original SCW run and I’ll beat her again.” I responded with a nod. “Marisol on the other hand may be a bit tougher because, well, she has yet to win a match in SCW and since I was in a similar situation during my first few weeks in SCW I know how desperate she’ll be to get that win.” I added and Steve nodded.

“I was in a similar situation when I debuted in the GWA, only it took me about four months to get my first win.” Steve added with a frown. “A lot of people seem to forget that I didn’t exactly have success right away in the GWA.”

“To be fair you were a nineteen year old rookie at the time.” Jake responded and Steve frowned. “Okay, Bloodstock plans are down, we’ve already had breakfast so what else do we need to do?”

“Well I don’t know about you but I have trash talk to do and two opponents to trash talk.” I commented as I closed my laptop lid and packed it up. “You guys go ahead, I’ll pay for the bill.” I added and they nodded before walking off, I asked the waitress for the bill confident that it wouldn’t come to more than seven dollars since the only thing we ordered were a bunch of drinks, whilst she did that I decided to start on my trash talk.

“The last time I competed in the Bombshell Tag Team Division was a little over two years ago when I teamed up with Becky Jones to form the team Venom and Vice, a team that would end up winning the SCW Bombshell Tag Titles on our first try, now I’m looking to make history repeat itself with my newest tag team with Amy Marshall otherwise known as the Metal and Punk Connection!”

And look at our first match together!

“And what do you know? Our first match as a team is for a chance at the SCW Bombshell Tag Team Titles against Marisol Hawks and the returning Tiami Tyler! I’ll be addressing the girls in a sec but first I have something to say, the reason we formed this team is because it’s obvious to us that the era of badass Bombshells is dying and it will soon be replaced with the era of prima donna, untalented whores who aren’t worthy to even look at the name Bombshell! We are here to put a stop to that!”

And now for the trash talk starting with Tiami.

“Tiami, this is your first match back and you’re facing me again! Granted beforehand we only faced each other once and that match ended up being a Hardcore Bra and Panties match which I won and whilst that won’t be happening this time because this isn’t a Roulette Rules Match what will be happening again is me beating you!”

Next up is Marisol.

“Marisol is someone I haven’t faced but I’ve had a few convos with her on Twitter and we get along! However I’ve never let that stop me from doing my best to win a match if I happen to be in the same ring as a friend of mine and considering that you have not won a match in SCW so far I know that you are desperate to get that win, unfortunately you are facing the Metal and Punk Connection which means that that won’t be happening.”

The waitress came over with the bill and I paid for it, like I said it was exactly seven dollars and I could pay for it with my loose change with some left over for a tip, once she got it I stood up to leave the café and wrap things up.

“Marisol, Tiami, you are two very tough, very talented Bombshells but the same can be said for me and Amy, the difference? We’re going out there not only to win the match and get a shot at the Bombshell Tag Titles but to send a message that nothing will stop us in our goal because when Metal and Punk Collides we are the only ones left standing!”

I left the café as the scene fades.
