Sunday May 18th- Cape Town
Cape Town, South AfricaThe scene opens up inside the lobby of the hotel the Seven Deadly Sins are calling home for the week here in Cape Town, South Africa. We find The Sin of Wrath, Rage, and his new valet and fellow stablemate, The Sin of Envy, Kittie, seated in chairs across from one another. Rage has his laptop in hand, while Kittie is browsing on her phone...Well, as best as she could, given the fact that not many of the superstars were having very good luck with the Wi-Fi connections anywhere they went.
Kittie smiles excitedly every once and a while as she searches for something on her phone, but Rage is in a completely different mood. His eyes widen for a moment but they narrow soon afterwards. He makes a low growl and Kittie quickly takes notice.
"What's your problem now?" She looks up at him, placing her cell phone back in her pocket.
Rage slams his laptop closed, tempted to just throw it as far away from him as he can, but he somehow manages to keep his temper in check as well as he can. "I just got done watching Jericho's little promo."
"And?" Kittie asks curiously.
Rage brings his eyes up and glares at Kittie. "He's a fucking idiot."
Kittie laughs and rolls her eyes. "You're just figuring that out?" She asks. "But anyway, what did he do this time? What did he say?"
"A whole lot of nothing really." Rage says, placing his laptop beside him and folding his arms. "What got me is that he mentioned me and Kain in the same fucking sentence. Like Kain is in the same damn league as me? HA! That's fucking hilarious. Completely insane, but hilarious."
"You know," Kittie begins, sounding slightly disappointed. "You're acting all Rage-ish when it comes to Jericho. I know you said he doesn't piss you off, but--"
"Don't even worry about it, Kittie." Rage says, cutting off Kittie. "Jericho may not piss me off as much as others, but I still plan on beating the shit out of him. Especially after watching that piece of shit promo of his."
"It might be a good thing that he mentioned Kain." Kittie says, leaning forward in her seat, still keeping her eyes on Rage. "If he's comparing you to Kain, then he's obviously underestimating you."
"I fucking know he is." Rage growls. "He's got it in his head that he can beat me. He could beat Kain no problem, but me? Fucker is crazy if he thinks he'll take me down. And he thinks he's a monster? Shit, if he's a monster--"
"Then I'm a saint." Kittie chimes in.
Rage rolls his eyes, holding back a laugh. "I don't know about that. The guy is batshit crazy. Who was it that said you two would--"
Kittie holds up her hand, stopping Rage in mid-sentence. "Don't you say it! Don't even go there!" She exclaims. "You'll make me lose my appetite if you so much as finish that thought, and I've got a craving for some sushi."
Rage raises an eyebrow. "Sushi? In Africa?"
Kittie nods. "Oh yeah! I heard about this great place not far from here. It's an awesome nightclub, too. A place called Zar. And guess what? You're taking me there!"
Rage immediately begins shaking his head, adamantly refusing. "Like Hell I am! I'm not going to some shitty nightclub."
"You never want to do anything." Kittie replies, her bottom lip pouting out. "You're so lame! Angry and lame!"
Kittie continues pouting, much like a child would trying to get their way. Rage notices this and he refuses to give in. He keeps shaking his head.
"Call me lame all you want, Kittie. It ain't happening! I hate being around people who could to clubs like that. I hate people in general." He says, putting his foot down on the matter.
"You don't hate me...or the others." She says, referring to the Seven Deadly Sins.
"I tolerate you guys. Fuck if I know how, but I somehow manage to." He says with a shake of his head. A few people passing them glare at Rage as he continues to swear, but he glares right back in a more threatening manner and they scurry off rather quickly. He chuckles a bit before he turns his attention back to Kittie.
"Just admit it, peanut head." Kittie says, grinning wickedly. "You love us!"
Rage shudders at Kittie's use of the infamous L word and he just shakes his head. He looks around, suddenly bored, and when he turns his head for a quick second, Kittie takes the opportunity to strike. She bolts out of her seat, then at Rage and jumps right in his lap. Rage nearly jumps out of his seat, in effect dropping her to the floor. He lets out a loud angry growl, glaring at Kittie as she wraps her arms around his neck.
"Raaaaage! I want sushi damn it!" She says in a begging tone. "Take me to Zar! Pleeeeeaaase!"
Rage doesn't take to kindly to Kittie's way of begging. He tries to break free, but she has a good grip around his neck.
"Come on, Kittie!" He shouts as people turn and stare at them. "Get the hell off of me! If you want to get some disgusting sushi, go find someone else to take you!"
"But no one else can." She says very disappointedly. "Gabriel is spending time with Odette. Synn is with Despayre and Big B. And who knows what Shane and Fantasia are doing. Probably off humping in some new exotic place they never have before."
Kittie keeps her bottom lip out, just waiting for Rage to give in. She knows that sooner or later, he'll get so angry and agitated by her child-like begging that he'll give in. It is her ultimate goal and she knows she'll get her way. Rage keeps his eyes closed, shaking his head. He does his best to fight Kittie and refuse to give in.
"Come on, come on, come on!" She begs. Rage finally has enough and he quickly stands up, holding Kittie in his arms, but he puts her down immediately, glaring down at her. She smiles, knowing this is it.
"Fuck's sake, Kittie!" He yells rather loudly and patrons of the hotel look at them yet again, shaking their heads in disgust. "You're more annoying then Despayre!"
He grabs his laptop from where he was sitting and turns away from Kittie. He begins walking away, heading towards the elevators to head back up to his room, and she watches him, calling out to him first.
"So is that a yes?!" She grins excitedly. Rage can just be heard growling loudly as he slams his hand against the up button for the elevator.
"Yay!!!" Kittie jumps up and down happily before she runs towards him, and the two wait for the elevators. Kittie is obviously more excited than Rage is, and he clenches his fist as the elevator doors open and they step inside.
******************************

Later that night, the scene opens up inside of a popular Cape Town destination, at least for Sushi lovers and people looking for a fun night out on the town. Zar Nightclub is known for being a Sushi Haven so to speak and it doubles as a popular nightclub, and tonight it just so happens to be where Kittie and Rage are at the moment.
After just a couple minutes of begging earlier, Kittie managed to get Rage to agree to bring her here this evening. He didn't exactly say yes, but after realizing there was no way he could continue to tell her no, he had no other choice. So now the big man is forced to watch as Kittie chows down on a variety of sushi.
"I can't believe you eat that shit." Rage says with a disgusted look on his face as Kittie eats another piece of sushi. "It's disgusting."
Kittie chews on the sushi very slowly, savoring every bit of it. One she finishes, she takes a drink and looks at Rage with a smile. "Have you ever even tried it before?"
Rage shakes his head, looking even more disgusted. "Fuck no. You couldn't pay me enough to try it."
"Then don't knock it until you try it." Kittie replies, eating another piece.
Rage shakes his head and grabs his beer, taking a big drink. He looks around the club, not impressed at the style of music nor the crowd that has gathered since they got here. He feels very out of place, even though it's quite obvious he's a tourist.
"Would you hurry up and finish eating." He orders her, taking another drink of his beer. "I just want to get out of this hell hole."
"Just for that, I'm going to take my time! And actually, I think I'll order some more." She replies with a smile. She finishes off the last of the sushi on her plate, sliding the empty plate towards the end of the table and she leans back in her seat.
"You really should try sushi sometime, big man. The good kind. Not the cheap gross kind." She says.
Rage shakes his head. "Like I said, you can't pay me enough to try that shit. You can eat as much as you want, but keep it away from me."
Kittie shrugs her shoulders. "Fine. Your loss." She says. "So...since nothing anybody else wants to do interests you this week, what would
YOU like to do? There has to be
something in Cape Town you want to see."
"You're joking right?" Rage asks with a raised eyebrow. "This whole tour has been one shithole after another. Cape Town might be the most popular on the list, but there is not a damn thing here that interests me. I just want to go into Chaos in Cape Town, finish off Jericho Hill and get back to Vegas. Get back to my car...and my nice quiet house."
"Oh! Speaking of which, I hear Despayre did an awesome job helping you pick that place. I can't wait to see it!" A waiter comes by and takes Kittie's empty plate. She is tempted to order more, but Rage shoots her a look that says 'don't you dare', and she chooses not to.
"Don't expect to see it for a while once we get back to Vegas." Rage says, shooting that idea down immediately. "After this tour, I plan to take full advantage of our week off, and none of you guys better argue with me about it."
"Oh I'm gonna be there
EVER day!" Kittie replies with a grin, but Rage doesn't look too impressed. "Now that all of us Sins are back together, you should have a huge party at your place. Oooh I can help you plan it!"
Rage shakes his head and in one giant gulp, finishes off his beer. He searches around for a waiter and when he spots one, he signals he'd like another and the waiter acknowledges him. Kittie folds her arms, glaring at Rage, but he speaks before she does.
"No. No parties at my place." He declines. "My house is exactly that.
MY house. It's the only place I can get some peace and quiet. If you want to have a party, have it at Synn's place and ask Despayre for help. He'd be jumping for joy to plan another party."
The waiter returns with Rage's fresh beer, taking his empty bottle away. Rage takes a big gulp and Kittie takes in a deep breath, trying to think of something...
anything to have a conversation with the big man about.
"Oookay...So, tell me. Are there any lucky ladies in your life right now?" Kittie tries to stay upbeat, but she has a feeling what Rage's response will be. Rage turns his head slowly, giving Kittie a look that says 'don't even go there' and the feisty and angry side of Kittie finally comes out.
"You've got to be freaking kidding me!" She shouts, throwing her arms up in the air. "You don't really want to talk about Jericho Hill, because you've only spoken two damn words about him. You don't want to plan a Sins get together at your place once we're back in Vegas. Obviously there is no
UNlucky lady in your life, because let's face it, what woman would want to be with a
BORING jackass like you. Tell me, Rage, is there
anything you will talk about? Help me out here."
Rage seems taken back by Kittie's outburst, and he thinks for a moment, but he doesn't have much luck. "Excuse me if I'm not the conversation type." He snaps. "And I'd rather be boring than some happy go lucky annoying freak like you!"
"Being boring won't help you cause any." Kittie replies quickly.
"How the fuck would you know?" Rage bites back.
"Because," she begins. "You're supposed to be this angry monster, but look at you! If you keep acting this way, Jericho won't have a problem beating you. And boy, how would that look losing your first match back in six months to that whack job?" Kittie laughs at the though.
Rage's eyes narrow, and he lets out a vicious snarl. "I'm
NOT going to lose to that jackass. I can promise you that." He turns his head for a moment, ready to get up and leave but he turns his attention back to Kittie, still very frustrated. "And nice of you to be so supportive, Kittie. Insulting me is a really fantastic way to do that."
"I'm just trying to get you prepared is all." Kittie replies, leaning forward. In the background, some upbeat music begins to play, but it must be local music, as it's nothing either of them recognizes. "I just really want you to beat that guy. He's seriously demented!"
Rage lets out a snort as he laughs a bit. "Yeah. That's putting it lightly though. But trust me, I don't plan to lose to him. If there is a reason I don't want to talk about him it's because there are people out there who actually think I'm going to lose to him. Now I got you thinking that shit."
Kittie shakes her head. "Hey, I never said I thought you were going to lose to him. I'm just trying to get you pumped up so you
REFUSE to lose to him! I know you can beat him, and you will as long as you don't just shrug the match off." As Kittie finishes her sentence, she begins bopping her head to the beat of the music and an idea pops into her head.
"You know what," she says, standing up from her seat. "I've got an idea. For tonight, let's just forget about your match and all the other bullshit and have a good time! I'm not familiar with this music, but I kinda like it and I suddenly have the urge to--"
Knowing where this is headed, Rage starts shaking his head. "Oh no...Don't even try and get me out there."
"DANCE!" Kittie shows, grabbing a hold of Rage's arm. She can't pull him out of his seat, though, because he's so much bigger than she is. "Come on, Rage! Lighten up for
ONE night. I won't tell Shane or Gabriel that you actually danced."
"Damn it, no!" He shouts back as Kittie continues to tug on his arm. "I'm not dancing with you. If you want to go out there and dance, have at it, but I'm not doing it."
"Don't make me jump in your arms and beg again." She says, pouting out her bottom lip yet again.
Rage closes his eyes and takes in a deep breath. Why couldn't he just stand his ground refuse to give in? He opens his eyes to see Kittie staring at him with 'puppy dog eyes' and he shakes his head with a growl. "I swear...If Shane or Gabriel hear
ONE word about this..."
Kittie jumps up and down, but then moves her fingers over her heart as if saying 'cross my heart'. "I swear, I won't tell a soul! Now come on!"
Kittie tugs on Rage again, and this time he finally gives in. He gets to his feet and follows Kittie out to the dance floor. She immediately starts dancing to the beat of the music, but Rage stands where he is, reluctant to start dancing. Kittie just stares at him, encouraging him to dance and he finally takes in a deep breath and starts moving, very awkwardly, to the beat of the music. Kittie watches him as she dances and can't help but laugh. Rage immediately stops.
"You know what. Fuck this shit!" He says and he storms away and off the dance floor.
Kittie stays behind for a moment, still amused, but shouts after him. "Oh come on! Get your ass back here! I could teach you some moves!!" She chases after him, but Rage throws his arms up in the air, wanting nothing more to do with Kittie's fun plans tonight.
******************************The scene opens up later that week as every member of the Seven Deadly Sins, along with Odette Stevens, Melody Grace and Ivy Bayley, are filtering their way out of Sahara Park Newlands. If you don't know why, well you'll just have to watch Gabriel's promo to see what went down. Trust me, you won't want to miss it!
As the group is heading off, away from the stadium, SCW's blonde reporter, Pussy Willow, is quickly approaching them. Because Kittie and Rage are leading the pack, so to speak, Pussy Willow approaches them first.
"What the hell do you want?" Rage asks, not thrilled to see her. Then again, when is he ever thrilled to see anyone.
"Well, I heard that Gabriel was at least going to be here and was hoping to get a few words with him." She says, looking directly at Gabriel.
He wraps his arms around Odette and shakes his head. "Piss off. I've got nothing to say to you, but you can speak to peanut head all ya like."
Rage glares at Gabriel, who just grins back at him and waves as they walk past him. "Keep it up and I'll be rooting for that idiot Steve Ramone to whoop your ass on Sunday."
"Not a chance, peanut head!" Gabriel shouts as he and Odette walk off.
Rage looks to Synn, Despayre and Big B. "I'm sure you three have plenty to say..."
Despayre quickly shakes his head and answers before Synn has a chance. "Nope! We're going for some lunch and our plans are super secret!"
Shane walks up behind Rage, patting him on the shoulder. "Guess that leaves you, big fella." He chuckles as Fantasia joins him at his side before they, too, walk away.
Before they know it, Rage and Kittie are the only two left standing by Pussy Willow. She seems disappointed at not getting to speak with Gabriel, but she still has a chance to get an interview in, if Rage will agree to it anyway. Rage clearly doesn't want to, but Kittie encourages him, surprisingly.
"Just get it over with." She says, nudging him in the side with her elbow.
Rage cracks his neck and sighs. "Fine. Make it quick."
"Well, I wasn't exactly prepared to interview you--" She starts, but she is quickly interrupted.
"Perfect, I'll leave then." Rage says, attempting to walk away, but Kittie grabs a hold of his shirt, stopping him.
"I'm more than capable of asking questions on the spot." Pussy Willow replies, defending herself. "It happens to be part of my job."
Rage laughs. "Well look at that. Blondie knows how to do her job. Kittie, give her a cookie." Kittie just shakes her head with a laugh, staying out of this one.
"So, Rage, how are your preparations for your match against Jericho Hill going?" Pussy Willow asks first.
"They're going great. Is that all?" He replies, folding his arms across his chest as he normally does.
Pussy Willow shakes her head. "This grudge match came on rather fast. You two exchanged a lot of heated words on Twitter over the past couple of weeks, but things have been rather quiet over the last week. Why is that?"
Rage shrugs. "I don't know, ask him. Normally you can't get that guy to shut the hell up, but he's the one who has been rather quiet. He's probably figured out it was a huge fucking mistake challenging me and now he's pissing his pants, terrified."
Pussy Willow nods, thinking about it. "That is possible. Or maybe he's just got bigger things planned for you. He might want you to underestimate him."
Rage takes a threatening step forward. "Lady, I don't underestimate
anyone, especially not Jericho Hill. I've studied him. I know what he's like." Kittie listens in attentively, proud of Rage's focus and determination.
"And what is he like, exactly?" Pussy Willow asks, taking a step away from the big man.
Rage rolls his eyes. "You clearly don't pay attention." He says. "Then again, if I weren't facing the guy, I wouldn't be paying attention to him either. He's an attention seeking jackass. He can say all he want that he's the real monster in SCW, but he's not. He's no different than any of the other losers who want to climb the ladder to the top but can't. It's as simple as that."
"That's not what I got from him at all, actually. He doesn't seem like he wants to go after one of the titles. At least not yet. He's more interested in
*air quotes* slaying the beasts in SCW. More specifically, you and Kain." Pussy Willow replies.
Again at the mention of Kain's name, Rage snarls. "Kain is no fucking monster. I've said it before, and I'll say it a thousand times again. I don't know who Jericho Hill has been talking to to put Kain in the same category as me, but they need get their facts straight. Beating Kain wouldn't be a fucking accomplishment. Anyone can beat Kain. Now, if Jericho Hill could beat me, that might say something, but it's not going to happen."
Pussy Willow nods, but before she can get out another question, Rage continues. "And to anyone thinking that I'll underestimate Jericho Hill on Sunday, I've got one thing to say. Go take a look at his promo from last week. For a guy who had quite a bit to say on Twitter over the last few weeks, the little jackass had nothing to say in his promo."
"Maybe he's just waiting until this week. You know, saving the best for last."
"Whatever his plan is, it won't work." Rage replies. "He can try and slay this beast all he wants, but when all is said and done, Jericho Hill will be just another victim of my wrath."
"The Sin of Wrath..." Kittie adds in.
"You know, earlier Gabriel was right about something. It doesn't happen very often, but I'll give him this one." Rage says, unable to hide a grin.
"What's that?" Pussy Willow asks.
"On Sunday, this beast...this demon...Me...I'm going to slay the so-called God that is Jericho Hill and there is not a damn thing he can do about it. The Seven Deadly Sins are back in business and at Chaos in Cape Town, Jericho Hill will be the first casualty of the Seven Deadly Sins. That...is a promise." Rage doesn't give Pussy Willow a chance to respond or ask another question as he brushes past her and walks away. Kittie smiles and nods proudly.
"Yeah. What he said!" She replies before turning her attention to Rage as he walks away. "Hey, peanut head! Can we go back to Zar for more sushi!"
Rage growls and shouts a very angry 'No!' and continues walking away. Kittie pouts and gives chase. "Aww....but it was so yummy! And I want to see you dance again!"
The scene fades away as Rage and Kittie begin arguing over going back to Zar.
