In a classic encounter on the last episode of Climax Control, Nick Jones battled the masked Lucian Frost, in what could only be described as a travesty as the referee had clear sight of countless infringements and chose to ignore it. Lucian could have achieved a memorable victory if it wasn’t for Drew Patton. Nick’s entourage aided the former champion to the ropes, Nick using the ropes for an illegal elevated pin, Drew’s clear breach of his professional conduct as a referee thrown out of the window. Lucian Frost has a bitter taste left in his mouth after last week. His partner Kain felt the injustice a week previously, Drew Patton declaring the match a no-contest despite it being sanctioned as an ‘Anything Goes’ match, Kain was left seething as he didn’t get to do what he wanted against Goth. Blood Omen are on the warpath this week when they step into the ring against The Forgotten.

The teachings of his mentors have been returning to him in his dreams. The vision of his reflection telling him to remember has caused Lucian to recollect, thinking about what he did in the very beginning as opposed to now, he had grown a reputation of being mysterious in the beginning but does he truly come across like that now? Most of the roster knows of the injuries he has suffered during two thousand thirteen, that hasn’t stopped him getting to the semi-finals of the Super J tournament and retaining the SCW Tag Titles, but he hasn’t been creating waves within the promotion like he did at the very beginning. Lucian is known as the injured man who is a part of Blood Omen. His visions and dreams where getting more prominent, he has taken to try and repair his damaged neck, although medically he needs surgery and time away from the sport, Lucian’s mentors have been showing him his teachings to perhaps heal his wounds.
Returning back to the SCW in December the regeneration process healed his wounded soul and healed his body, a bright light shone from his head and hands as his body healed in a blaze of bright light, in order for him to return he needed to regenerate so a new stage could begin. The healing teachings he had envisioned where not working, his neck destroying the simplest of movements with his hands or legs, he is only half a man that he used to be before or after the renewal process. It had taken losing to Misty and Nick Jones in successive weeks to realise that if he was to become SCW Tag Team Champions once more, against the strong outfit representing Team Erik at Hostile Takeover, the man they face is the man everyone knows and loves. No excuses. No regrets. Lucian Frost needs to regenerate.

Lucian’s mentors had told him that the renewal process was only to be used in dire circumstances, the death of his unborn child and downward spiral last year was a clear indication that he needed to regenerate, although an injured neck isn’t a dire situation like he was previously, Lucian needed to regenerate for his own sake as well as the sake of Kain.
’ You do not have many regeneration cycles, Lucian, after the first time you may find that your body will change and a somewhat different personality could surface. Be careful with this power’
Lucian had taken his wrestling attire off, placing his skulled mask to the side in his hotel room, standing in just his boxers with his long hair draped over his scared face. He breathes in and exhales out at a faster rate than normal; the emotion in his body is coming out as tears roll down his face through the pain and agony, his body begins to glow as he begins to regenerate. Lucian looks at his hands to see them glowing a bright orange, the brightness running down his forearms and around his body as his whole body begins to glow, continuing to breath at an excelled rate with his heart rapidly beating like a drum. Lucian felt that this regeneration is going to be different compared to his last one. A little hesitant to let go but the regeneration power takes over as his head is flung back, a bright light shines from his entire body as the healing process begins. The entire room is just filled from bright light as Lucian screams out in pain, the healing entities travelling around his body causes him great stress, as the regeneration process reaches its climax the bright light dims and his body returns to normal before he collapses on the floor. Lucian’s eyes close with the whole process taking it out of the cruiserweight, his whole world goes dark with his mind going completely blank, the process was different than before but Lucian won’t know to what extent until he awakens.

Many days have passed since the renewal process of Lucian Frost. For the first time in a long while he was able to do things he took for granted, running up and down stairs, moving his neck around with ease, able to train properly without the discomfort and fear of collapsing through the injured neck. Lucian wondered why it had taken so long for him to come to this conclusion. He felt on top of the world. Although his body was still recovering from the process this doesn’t stop the masked enigma from doing what he had to do in preparation for this coming Climax Control against the debuting team in the Forgotten. Sitting in the darkness of his hotel room, his hands resting on his thighs, his wrestling attire glistening in the sunlight with his bright white skulled mask prominent as the camera begins to roll.

“Battle lines have been drawn in the sand, Drew Patton, with the men and women decided where there best alliances are come Hostile Takeover, I wasn’t going to get involved but you drew my hand Patton. You’re a referee yet your incompetence is clear for all to see, you being involved with Team Erik will only see you fall from grace, you cost Kain and Myself matches that we both had a chance of winning and I will not let this injustice go unheard”
Lucian grabs a striped t-shirt from the hotel floor, unfolding it to show it as an official SCW Referee’s shirt, Lucian looks upon it and then back into the camera.
“When people become referees, either on a professional or guest bases, the officiating isn’t the most complex thing in the world. In an anything goes match you allow anything and everything to happen! If a wrestler has outside influences by an entourage or stop an illegal pin. You have cost Blood Omen greatly over the past few weeks and I will not let this lie! I, like my partner Kain, have aligned us with the Loyalists of thee SCW! We will help defeat Erik and his sympathisers, which in turn will prove to be your undoing, since you’re Team Erik’s official referee after all. I do hope you’re not our official when we face the forgotten, I don’t make threats, but if you are our official then I hope you call it down the line, otherwise…”
The bottom of the referee begins to smoke and a flame ignites, slowly the shirt begins to burn with dark smoke propelled into the air, Lucian lets the flaming shirt fall to the ground.
“…Do I really need to spell it out?”
Lucian waves his gloved hand to clear some of the air before continuing.
“Climax Control me and kain step into the ring, together, for the first time since we lost our tag team championships. With the whole hostile takeover I’m guessing people have forgotten our rematch, like the young lions where forgotten with their rematch after new year rising, if people need to be reminded why Blood Omen are ranked second in the world in the National Wrestling Alliance then we’re going to have to do it all again against Johnny Sykes and Darren Xavier Christensen, better known as the forgotten.”
“You see this as a good opportunity to show SCW what you’re capable off, for that I commend you since you haven’t dismissed us, you see this as a chance to prove to people that you’re not a joke and you mean what you say. I don’t think being defeated by us as being a joke, look at the young lions, they got beaten by us but they came back bigger and better each time. Look at Sinful Obsession, we defeated them and they became World Tag Team Champions in the NWA, so if you think being beaten by Blood Omen is a joke then you might have to think again. Being beaten by us could be the reality check that you need to ground yourself here in the SCW.”
“Johnny Sykes seems to be of the opinion that he is a part of the coolest tag team in the SCW, I’m sure the surf boys will care to differ there, that you’re not a regular tag team… Johnny me and kain are the product of the lethal lottery, just like Ace and Kevin where, you see normal or regular tag teams aren’t exactly successful when it comes to the SCW. Our development and tag unity came with time once we claimed the tag titles! Sinful Obsession is possibly the exception to the rule but they aren’t into the equation in the SCW tag scene right now, with their global domination in the NWA, however Blood Omen is up there ready to challenge for those World Tag Straps and I look forward to that opportunity once it falls upon us!”
Lucian picks up the WCCW Texas Heavyweight Championship from the side and places it over his shoulder.
“You see, Forgotten, defeating Blood Omen could be your ticket to gaining a tag team title shot, defeating us would put you on the map if you will, but with everything that has happened to myself and kain in recent weeks, the anger and injustice from a certain referee… do you really think we’re taken this lightly. With the chance of regaining our Tag Team Championships and possibly progression in the capture of the World Tag Team Championships? I think you’re going to see the blood omen most remember, not the performance against Team Erik’s Carter and Baldwin, but the Blood Omen that captured the championships and retained them over and over again! We may be just like you say, Johnny and Darren, we should of defeated Carter and Baldwin and we should still be champions, but just like your ideology about having to win, things don’t necessarily go to plan and the unthinkable actually becomes reality.”
“You say we will never forget you… how can we forget the forgotten? I remember most of my matches, like our title defences and everything inbetween, you won’t be forgotten, if you are what you say then we’ll be seeing each other on a regular basis. But you must understand that we’re not stepping stones in your progression within this promotion, that you need to beat us, that you need to do this because you cannot be seen as a joke, we’re not going to allow you to have that honour with everything we’ve done in this promotion. We’ve had one hick up in all those months and it cost us our belts, it’s time for Blood Omen to return back to the top of the pile in the SCW! By the end of the year there will only be one team that is remembered through their title reign and dominance in this division, it won’t be Sinful Obsession and it won’t be The Forgotten, It will be Lucian Frost and Kain.. Blood Omen!
“Our quest to become Tag Team Champions starts this Sunday at Climax Control, Ace Baldwin and Kevin Carter maybe in the mix of things with Team Erik, they may not be a functioning tag team, but they’re the champions non-the-less and we’re going to put right our wrong doings. We’ll be the first team to be two time Tag Team Champions, understandable that statement is bold since we haven’t defeated our opponents this week, but the simple truth is we’ve gelled and become a good team. Kain deserves success after his countless encounters for the Heavyweight Championship, he may not have held the top prize but his name will forever be remembered here in the SCW. I am honoured to have him as my partner and this Sunday, The Forgotten, you’ll see that we’re back to do what we do best and that’s defeat whomever stands before us. See you this Sunday!”

Lucian stands up with the ember championship reflecting the natural sunlight, he may be proud to be a champion in WCCW but it isn’t as prestigious as holding SCW, knowing his and kain’s development in the Alliance hasn’t gone unnoticed with them situated as the second ranked team in the world. Blood Omen look to gain the top contendership spot by defeating the young blooded team in The Forgotten, then progressing to Hostile Takeover and re-capture the Tag Team Championship. The rematch of all rematches is on the horizon in Lucian’s mind, Sinful Obsession versus Blood Omen, NWA World Tag Team Champions versus SCW Tag Team Champions, the winners takes it all in the battle of the world best tag teams. For that to happen Lucian and Kain need to be victorious this Sunday, with the desire and hunger his partner bestows and Frosts newly healed body. Blood Omen are most definitely back!
