Jessie and Vixen lost the tag title match via count out due to Misty’s interference, this week however they had a bigger problem as they were both competing in the Bombshell Battle Royal on the last Climax Control of 2012 against Karina Koji and Amy Marshall, can Jessie win and end 2012 with a bang?
Jessie’s hotel room, San Diego, California
December 21st, 2012, 5:00pm
“Okay, Christmas plans are set in stone!” Jake said as he got off the phone, the reason I’ve been so late with my promo this week was because we were putting our plans in motion for Christmas and New Year’s Eve, otherwise known as my 23rd birthday, so I was relieved to hear that.
“Okay, what are the plans?” I asked him and Jake turned to me.
“We’ll be spending Christmas and New Years at mom and dad’s place in Florida and we’ll be leaving the day after Climax Control.” Jake answered and I nodded. “I know how hard it is but it’ll be a long trip to Miami so try to get an early night on Sunday Jessie.”
“I’ll try but you know from experience how long the shows can run for.” I pointed out and Jake nodded. “Don’t be surprised if I end up falling asleep on the ride over.”
“Good thing I’m driving then.” Katie answered before frowning. “Speaking of Climax Control, I know you’re feeling better Jess but are you sure about stepping into the ring for the second week in a row since your beatdown at Misty’s hands?”
“I am and don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the concern.” I answered confidently. “But it’s obvious that this match is another excuse for Mark to try to drive NXT apart, he tried that last week but pitting Spike and Casey together for the Heavyweight Title and he’s trying it this week by putting me and Vixen in the Battle Royal.”
“Wait, isn’t Mark Ward suspended?” Jake asked and I shrugged.
“He probably booked this match behind Christian’s back like Christian did with Matthew Kennedy and Marty McFarge’s contracts a couple of weeks ago.” I answered and Jake nodded once he realized I had a point. “Christian probably didn’t realize it until it was too late to change it.”
“Maybe, but what matters is that you can team up with Vixen to eliminate Karina and Amy and then the two of you can put on a great match before either of you are eliminated.” Jake answered before checking the time. “Speaking of Christmas, we’d better get that Christmas Shopping done, I know you did yours online Jessie but some of us like doing it the old fashioned way.”
“By old fashioned you mean searching through the city looking for the right gifts for your relatives despite half the shops being sold out so close to Christmas.” I teased him and Jake smirked before leaving the room.
“If you need anything give us a call Jess.” Katie said before grabbing the painkillers and putting them in her purse, I nodded in response and once Katie left the room I turned to the camera.
“You know what would’ve been a killer Christmas Gift this year? Besides tickets to next year’s Bloodstock Festival off course.” I asked rhetorically before frowning. “The SCW Bombshell Tag Team Titles, but no, Misty just had to inject herself in NXT business again and cost us the match, why am I bringing this up?”
Do I really need to answer that?
“Because this week in the Bombshell Battle Royal I am facing Amy again alongside Vixen and Aleksei’s sister Karina, since Karina is the only one to date to tape a promo for the match I’m starting with her but first a little something for Vixen, we may be stablemates but in this match it’s every woman for themselves, I won’t back down from the fight and I know you won’t either.”
And now it’s time for me to address Karina.
“Karina, I don’t know how you know that I’ve been a victim for most of my life because it’s not exactly something that I like to talk about but you know what? I don’t care, if you choose to tell me after the match be my guest but in the meantime I have this to say, you think you can out-wrestle me just because I haven’t been wrestling that long?”
Yeah, I don’t think so.
“That’s not happening, I will defeat you in the Battle Royal and I won’t let my lack of experience get in my way, you may be Aleksei’s sister and I may be friends and stablemates with your brother but I won’t let that stop me when we face off in the Battle Royal.”
Next up is Amy.
“And once again I find myself in a match involving Amy Marshall, you like holding the SCW Bombshell Tag Titles Amy? I hope so because if it weren’t for Misty’s interference last week those belts would be back in NXT and back around my waist, you may be a veteran like the other Bombshells in this match but I won’t let that stop me from giving it my all and defeating the three off you.”
I sighed in annoyance.
“I’m well aware of the fact that it’s the last Climax Control of 2012, in fact it’ll be my last Climax Control as a twenty-two year old wrestler because I’m turning twenty-three at the end of the month, what am I getting at? It’s simple, I have a New Year’s Resolution this year and that is to win the SCW Bombshell Championship, I came close before when I competed in that tournament a couple of months ago but now? I’m making it my goal for the new year.”
And that’s not all.
“What does this have to do with Karina, Vixen and Amy? That’s an easy question for me to answer, my three opponents are all veterans and have held numerous titles in their careers, if I can beat them and end 2012 with a win I can focus on achieving that goal even more because I will have defeated three women with at least twice as much experience as me between them, encase you can’t tell that will give me a lot of momentum going into the new year!”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“Vixen, Karina, Amy, I don’t care if Misty or every member of Mark Ward’s stable tries to interfere and eliminate me and Vixen from the match because as far as I’m concerned nothing will stop me from winning this match, this is the Heavy Metal Bombshell signing off for the last time in 2012.”
I turned to my laptop as the scene fades.
