Matthew sent a clear and effective message this past Sunday Night when he viciously attacked Tom Dudely before the match between him and Casey Williams could even begin, now Mark has teamed him up with Rage to take on Nick Jones and Jordan Williams in retaliation for the attack, can Matthew beat the all-star team?
Matthew’s Hotel Room

“Matthew, my phone has been ringing off the hook since Climax Control.” Marty told me as he hung up the phone. “I’ll give you one guess as to who’s calling me?”
“That women you slept with last night who’s upset that you forgot to leave her flowers?” I asked and Marty grinned.
“Yes! I mean no……actually that’s right too!” Marty said before shaking his head. “My lawyers have been calling us! They’re pissed that we even put this plan into motion!”
“Tell them to do their damn jobs and only worry about fighting off any lawsuits from Tom Dudely’s family!” I responded and Marty shook his head. “Besides I’d say that that attack got the job done! It forced Mark to take notice of me and has put me in a prime position to eliminate two of his top superstars.”
“Yeah well, if you want me to find some hookers to distract his posse just say the word.” Marty responded as he checked his phone again. “Okay, it seems that the lawyers have taken the hint and have stopped calling me.”
“Good, I was getting tired of your damn ringtone!” I grunted in annoyance and Marty rolled his eyes at that. “Are the press still outside or will I have to put up with the hotel food for another night?”
“I’ll check.” Marty responded before standing up and peering out the window. “I think I see some tents out there.”
“Typical.” I said as I rolled my eyes. “Is there a statement you can release that will get them to leave us alone?”
“Well the lawyers did say not to talk to the press…..” Marty trailed off before shaking his head. “Ah fuck it! I’m as sick of the hotel food as you are! I’m going to try to get them to leave!” Marty said before leaving the hotel room, now that I have some time alone it’s time I addressed my opponents.
“It’s been barely three days and people still don’t know what to call my attack on Tom Dudely.” I started as I listed off the names. “The first shot off the war between Matthew Kennedy and Mark Ward, the end of Tom Dudely’s career, Matthew Kennedy committing career suicide…..” I listed off the names rolling my eyes at the last one. “It’s worth mentioning that people still call it that after I revealed that me and Marty now have iron clad contracts and yet Mark Ward sees this as an opportunity to make my life a living hell.”
I said before shaking my head with a laugh.
“My life? MY LIFE? Mark there’s only one life you should be concerned with and that’s your own, you see I had Marty negotiate those contracts in anticipation of you announcing a match like this, I knew you’d send at least one of your cronies to eliminate me but two? And in a tag team match no less? But not only that did you send two of them but you sent two of your top cronies against me? Mark Ward, you are a bloody idiot!”
There, I said it.
“You saw what I did to Tom, you know how far I’ll go in my quest to win the SCW Heavyweight Title but you still went through with this idea? Let me tell you a little secret Mark, I waited until I saw you running down the ramp before launching myself and Tom off the apron and through the table with the Prime Time Special, I wanted to make my message to you actually mean something and obviously it did, otherwise you’d have someone else against me, I’ll address Jordan Williams in a moment but first I have an old enemy to address.”
That’s right, it’s Nick Jones.
“Nick, you didn’t deserve to lose the title at High Stakes II, you didn’t even deserve to hold onto it for as long as you did because we both know that if it weren’t for those idiots you drag around everywhere you go I would’ve successfully defended the SCW Heavyweight Championship at High Stakes II but no, you had to go and show the world how truly incompetent you are.”
Honestly I’m surprised that people didn’t catch on sooner.
“You relied on those idiots so much and yet when it came time for the big match at High Stakes II you couldn’t cut it, and who is honestly surprised? NO-ONE! Not me, not Marty, bloody hell Stevie Wonder could have seen that coming! Nick, you where nothing but a fluke champion during both of your reigns and I will personally make sure that everyone sees you for the fluke you are this Sunday at Climax Control because like it or not it should’ve been me in your place at High Stakes II.”
It’s really that simple.
“And another thing Nick, the moment you try to counteract these claims using some bloody nonsense that you had made up off the top of your head I will crack open a wine bottle with Marty so that we can celebrate my victory, why? Because at that point I’ll know that I have gotten to you and I will use that knowledge to eliminate you!”
Next up is Jordan Williams.
“Now to move onto the man who many consider to be a legend, Jordan Williams, I say many because I personally don’t include myself in a group of Nostalgic Morons who fail to see Jordan for what he truly is! A Has-Been, what has he done of note since Summer XXXTreme several months ago? Nothing, all he’s done is ride of Mark Ward’s, and by extension the rest of Mark Ward’s little group, coattails in the hope that he remains relevant, well guess what Jordan? You’re as relevant as a floppy disk!”
And there’s a reference that’s bound to be lost on most of SCW’S fanbase!
“Why Mark Ward chose you over a dozen or so wrestlers who are not only better than him but more relevant is beyond me! Actually I know why he did that, so that he could surround himself with legends so that he could feel important in spite of being SCW’s co-owner, that’s right, this whole group is nothing but a giant ego trip for Mark Ward!”
I’m going to let you process that for a minute.
“Yes, you heard me correctly, quite possibly the man with the biggest ego in wrestling has called Mark Ward egotistical, what’s that old saying again? Pot calling the Kettle black? I don’t care, my point still stands, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the only reason Mark Ward took so long to get to the ring whilst I was attacking Tom Dudely is because he was stroking his ego! I hope for their sakes that Jordan and Nick Jones realize this and break off from the stable but considering that the collective intelligence in that stable seems to be that off goldfish I find that unlikely.”
And with that I decided to wrap things up.
“Nick, Jordan, what I did to Tom at the last Climax Control was just the beginning, I’m coming after each and every other member of Mark Ward’s little stable and after I single handedly take them out I will focus on my true goal, the SCW Heavyweight Championship! In the meantime however……my name is “Prime Time” Matthew Kennedy and Nick Jones and Jordan Williams are about to be cancelled.”
I turned to my laptop as the scene fades.
