This past week at PRA’S Lords of the Ring event Aleksei Koji defeated Casey Williams for the Roulette Championship in a brutal match, however with SCW’s revolutionary Summer XXXTreme event on the horizon he would not have to wait long for his first defense.
And he didn’t have an easy match for his first defense, Casey was in the match as was former Roulette Champion “Prime Time” Matthew Kennedy who was unsuccessful in the Cruiserweight Showcase match……which featured a surprise appearance by Kurt Angle of all people, “Blaque Hart” Bruce Evans, Lucian Frost and “Hangman” Chett Hawkins who had recently lost the WCCW Brass Knuckles Championship to “The Heavy Metal Messiah” Ronnie Rocker and was obviously looking to win the title to make up for that, who will win? Let’s find out.
Matthew’s apartment

Well, well, well, it seems my old foe has lost the title that we’ve been feuding over to the man who cost me the title in the first place.
But no matter, not long after he’s won the title he will lose it again to me, I am among the five challengers in his upcoming Roulette Championship defense alongside Casey Williams, Hangman, Lucian Frost and “Blaque Hart” Bruce Evans in a Battle Royal for the Roulette Championship, that’s next week but right now? I’m packing for this bloody cruise and setting up promo time for next week with Marty.
“Okay Matt, just to recap, you want promo time scheduled for two separate dates next week.” Marty said as he looked over the schedule. “One for Monday so that you can hype the Roulette Championship match and another on Wednesday for the other championship your competing for over at ACW.”
“Yes and to be frank I’m surprised that that joke of a federation is still running after that disaster of a first show.” I reply as I finish zipping up my bag, “Okay, I’m packed for the cruise, what about you?”
“I packed my stuff away yesterday over at my place, provided my porn stash doesn’t get damaged during the transport to the ship we should be all set.” Marty replies and I rolled my eyes, who honestly uses a porn stash now that we’ve got every kind of sick fetish available on the Internet? “So you’re facing Aleksei, Casey, Lucian, Hangman and Bruce again?”
“Yes, this match may as well be titled “Matthew Kennedy battles five of his foes at once” but I digress, Aleksei may have beaten Williams for the Roulette Championship at Lords of the Ring last week but he and Casey are still hurt from that Ring of Fire match and I intend to take advantage of that fact.” I answered with a frown. “As for the others, I battled Lucian Frost in that Cruiserweight Showcase match on the same event that Casey lost the Roulette Championship, if you ask me it’s about bloody time we have another champion who won’t dodge challengers left right and center.”
“Yeah and I’m still trying to figure out how the hell they got Kurt Angle to appear at a small wrestling event in Puerto Rico! I know his career’s gone to shit since he joined TNA but I would’ve thought that his fees were still too high for that!” Marty adds and I roll my eyes again.
“It matters not, what does matter is that I eliminated not one but two former world champions and as a result my momentum is off the charts.” I pointed out with an arrogant smirk. “Hangman recently lost the WCCW Brass Knuckles Championship to Ronnie Rocker at WCCW’S Death Toll event, obviously he’s looking to make up for his failure at Death Toll but what’s even more obvious is the fact that that defeat is hanging over him like the sword of Damocles.”
“Yeah, I saw that, Ronnie may be a headbanging idiot but he can go.” Marty said with a nod. “Then there’s the champ himself……”
“His reign will be the shortest of all the Roulette Champions so far, I can guarantee it.” I said simply as I folded my arms. “As for that fool known as “Blaque Hart” Bruce Evans, he only recently became relevant again and as a result he has gotten the idea that he is somehow championship material, believe me, he’s not.”
“If you say so, well your packing’s done so I’m heading back to my place for some shuteye, I’ll bring the car over in the morning so that we can get to the airport and from where we’ll take off we’ll get to the cruise liner.” Marty said before he went to leave, however he stopped at the door and turned to me, it didn’t take me long to notice that his facial expression had darkened. “Matthew, have you heard the rumors?”
“What rumors?” I asked and Marty shook his head.
“There’s a rumor going around that Jason Burnside is planning to appear at Summer XXXTreme.” Marty answered and I frowned. “Personally I think its bullshit, Jason may be a lunatic but he’s not stupid enough to risk capture like this.”
“He obviously was stupid enough to not flee the country after his last on screen appearance so I wouldn’t put it past him.” I responded with a frown. “Believe me, I used my brother’s connections to ensure that he would be safely transported to the US with no hassle from the authorities, I know the man, and the only thing he knows is crime.”
“If you say so Matthew, see you tomorrow.” Marty said before leaving the apartment and closing the door behind him, I shook my head before sitting down on the bed.
“Burnside, that man’s name has haunted me ever since he pulled that stunt after my unsuccessful attempt to win back the Roulette Championship at Into The Void.” I said with a look of disgust on my face. “Now I learn that there’s rumors going around that he plans to appear at Summer XXXTreme, if he does I will be there to confront him but in the meantime I can focus on winning back the title that started this whole mess even if it means going through five other men to do it, five men who I have faced in the past.”
I smirked.
“I shall start with the big fish himself Aleksei Koji, Koji you may have beaten Williams for the Roulette Championship at Lords of the Ring in that brutal Ring of Fire match but as long as I’m around I will make sure that your title reign is as short and forgettable as Vanilla Ice’s acting career, if you can call it that, because I intend to take back what’s mine.”
I grinned as I started to talk about the next guy.
“Casey, Casey, Casey, you are a man of your word as you did give me a shot at the Roulette Championship in exchange for the info I gave you on Burnside, but I kept my end of the bargain as well, I said that I wouldn’t challenge for the Roulette Championship as long as you remained champion and now that you’ve lost the title to Koji I intend to sweep in like a vulture and pick the remains before flying off with my Roulette Championship!”
Next up is another recent foe, Lucian Frost.
“It seems our rivalry continues to this day Lucian, when we last faced off it was in the Cruiserweight Showcase match at Lord of the Rings where you were eliminated last by the eventual winner PRA’S Limp and whilst I am still perplexed by how PRA got Kurt Angle to appear at the event that doesn’t matter, what does matter is the fact that I will win this match and you won’t stop me.”
No-one will, especially not Hangman.
“It seems that people who I have faced in the past are coming out of the woodwork for this match, Hangman you may not realize it but I know why you signed up for this match, you lost the Brass Knuckles Championship on your first defense of the bloody title against Ronnie Rocker and your hoping to make up for that fact with this match, unfortunately I cannot and will not let that happen as I will personally see to it that that title comes home with me!”
That just leaves one person.
“Normally I save the best for last but this time I saved the one who I couldn’t care less about for last, “Blaque Hart” Bruce Evans, you’ve floundered for months on end but now that you’ve suddenly become relevant again you think that your championship material? That’s like saying that Jersey Shore is Emmy Worthy because it is relevant in today’s culture but Jersey Shore will eventually die and be forgotten about, just like you.”
I shook my head whilst deciding to wrap things up.
“This match may feature five of my oldest foes but that means nothing in the long run, I intend to do one thing at Summer XXXTreme and that is to win the SCW Roulette Championship and no-one is this match will stop me! My name is “Prime Time” Matthew Kennedy and Aleksei Koji’s championship reign will be cancelled when I walk out with the championship in hand!
I turned to my laptop as the scene fades.
