Harper was about to enter her first title defence at Violent Conduct but before she could do that? She and Cassie had unresolved issues with Mercedes and Crystal at the Go Home Show.
”Everyone wants to be a champion in wrestling, that goes without saying, your name on the title plate, your face up in lights, hell, in some rare instances? Getting to be the last ever champion because a company closed while you were champion and let you keep the belt, the fact that that happened to me during my rookie year wasn’t a great feeling!” Harper stated as she shook her head. ”But then there’s the flipside, because those facts that I just mentioned also make you a target, and guess what? I’m already feeling it.
I’ll deal with Alicia at Violent Conduct, trust me, I have a few things to say there, but as a champion the last thing you want is to appear weak, that’s exactly what happened when I faced Mercedes in that Clash of the Champions Match in Mykonos a fortnight ago where she scored a fluke win.” Harper added as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”And if that was the end of it? I would’ve be cutting this promo, because after the match Crystal attacked Josh and I found myself double teams by the Not So Golden Girls.”
Harper let out a deep, annoyed breath.
”Cassie saved me from a worse beating and to give credit where it’s due to Evelynn, the new GM? She wasted no time in fining Crystal for that attack! But this is wrestling, and since when has anything been resolved without trading blows in the middle of the ring?!” Harper asked sarcastically as she ran a hand through her hair. ”And thus, this tag match was made, Young Justice vs. Ancient Villainy in the opening contest of the Go Home Show! And just to make things that much more complicated?
Crystal and Cass are also in the main event to determine Kayla’s new challenger after Andrea’s family emergency forced her to step away.” Harper shakes her head. ”Look, that VIP Battle Royal is Cassie’s department, I’d say I’d probably be joining her and Crystal in that match if not for the Bombshell Roulette Title but let’s face facts: this title is the only reason I’m in this mess!”
Harper added as she held up her title to the webcam.
”And to a lesser extent? The same can be said for Mercedes! Crystal and Cassie are basically along for the ride at this point.” Harper added as she folded her arms. ”But unlike Mercedes? I don’t need a sidekick’s help to win or retain my title, the one-time Mercedes tried to retain the title on her own? She lost it to Lilith in short order and only won it back with Crystal’s help.
Me? Controversy about the timing of my foot being under the bottom rope right as Drew counted three aside? When I beat Victoria at Summer XXXTreme I did it on my own, no outside help at all.” Harper added before grinning. ”And this Sunday? Me and Cass will do it all over again!”

With the big match looming Harper had a lot on her mind heading into the last two shows of the Violent Conduct Cycle, but she wasn’t backing down.
”Gotta say Jess, my first month as Bombshell Roulette Champion has been crazy.” Harper commented as she patted her title and her older cousin/SCW Hall of Famer Jessie Salco nodded as she sat across from her. ”And now I’m one match away from my first defence, was your first reign this crazy?”
”Harp, my first reign ended after two weeks, happened in the middle of that Team Erick bullshit and literally ended with me being thrown in a dumpster! What you’ve been through is tame compared to that and your reign has already lasted longer than my first, so in other words?” Jessie stated with a pointed look and Harper waited for what Jessie was about to say. ”Count your fucking blessings!”
”Yeah, I guess you have a point there.” Harper laughed before taking a sip from my drink. ”At least no one else has tried something like that since but with Mark stepping down and Jason leaving as well? I wouldn’t exactly want to be the one who picks the Holy Shit/WTF nominees next cycle because even before all that there was a lot to choose from this year, mostly by Logan Hunter’s hands, but at the same time it feels like the end of an era.”
”It does, doesn’t it? Almost feels like I set this in motion when I stepped away from SCW in late 2023!” Jessie admitted with a grin. ”But yeah, High Stakes and the build too it will be interesting as hell to say the least, we just need to get past Violent Conduct first.”
”And I’ll bet good money that Christian is saving his most creative party themed match ideas for last.” Harper commented as she shook her head and Jessie nodded. ”You gotta admit Jess, that does seem right up Christian’s alley.”
”I’ve known the man for over a decade Harp, how he manages to stay as young as he does while running a company that has Logan Hunter on the roster I have no idea but Christian knows what he’s doing.” Jessie sighed as she brushed some hair over her shoulder. ”As for this Evelynn that he’s brought in? I haven’t met her yet but based on what Josh told me about dealing with her after Crystal’s attack? It sounds like she has a no bs attitude and a good head on her shoulders.”
”Almost sounds like you’re describing yourself.” Harper teased and Jessie shook her head. ”Only tall and British.”
”Laugh it up! I’ll make sure to order you some real spice next time we meet for a meal out.” Jessie teased and Harper laughed. ”But seriously, I’m not used to dealing with women who are over a foot taller than me, I’m already short for a female wrestler at 5ft 2 as it is, the likes of her and Tempest don’t help matters!”
”At least we have Cass to take up the short girl on the Bombshell Roster spot.” Harper pointed out and Jessie nodded in agreement before the conversation drifted off.

As Harper prepares for her second vlog for the tag match we see the young champion walking around Cancun with the title around her waist and Jessie filming.
”When they booked that Clash of the Campions match two weeks ago? The intent couldn’t be more clear, they wanted to see who, out of the two recently crowned champions in myself and Mercedes was the stronger champion, and despite what the history books will tell you?” Harper stated as she shook her head. ”That match didn’t resolve shit!”
You heard her.
”I’m not saying that because I lost, or even because Crystal attacked Josh and me to set up the tag match, it’s because the numbers don’t add up.” Harper added as she held up two fingers. ”I’m only holding up two fingers because that match where you got yourself disqualified? Doesn’t count because you took the cowards way out Mercedes, but I beat you in our return match a few weeks after that and now? You somehow squeak out a win?”
Nuh uh.
”And Crystal? How does it feel to be Mercedes’s sidekick? Honestly?” Harper asked as she shook her head. ”Oh wait! I forgot, you latch onto anyone with the slightest bit of relevance in desperate bids to not be forgotten! And honestly? Some may look at this as two SCW Hall of Famers joining forces to teach the youngsters a lesson, in what exactly?”
It's that simple.
”A lesson in taking advantage of fluke wins? Sorry, me and Cass don’t need that lesson.” Harper added as she shook her head. ”What I need is momentum heading into my first defence, what Cass needs is a big win to get her out of the rut she’s in, but you two? The only thing that The Not So Golden Girls need is a reality check.”
And with that Harper decided to wrap things up.
”And Young Justice will be just the team to hand it out!” Harper added as she flipped some hair over her shoulder. ”Mercedes suddenly thinks she’s queen of the world because she took advantage of a fluke win and Crystal needs to realize that no one buys her nice girl persona, but more importantly? They need to learn that the world needs a new hero and her name is Harper Mason! And when Young Justice delivers on it’s name? Justice will be served and it’s a dish best served cold, see you in the ring.””
Jessie turned off her camera as the scene fades.
