"Sun, Sea, Sand and Matches!"

(Gabriel was used with permission)

The Bombshell Roster was rocked by the sudden change in attitude by Krystal Wolfe but none more so than her supposed friend Ariana who was attacked from behind by the Aussie in the middle of trying to save Cassie Wolfe from further harm! This attack had a serious knock on effect later in the night as well as Ariana would end up taking the pin in the Bombshell Internet Title Match allowing Melissa to dethrone Kayla Richards!

At the following Climax Control Ariana all but declared war on Krystal for her actions but first Ariana had her Blast from the Past debut to worry about! Ariana’s partner was a newcomer to SCW and a graduate from Jet City in Oliver Zahn and the young team had a daunting task ahead of them in round one as they were facing a team of veterans! SCW Hall of Famer and multiple time champion Sam Marlowe and the talented yet controversial Teddy Warren! Can Ariana’s team make it past round one?

Backstage at Blaze of Glory XI, Las Vegas, Nevada
Sunday the 12th of March 2023, 21:00pm

To say that tonight had been a disaster for Team Go was putting it mildly.

In hindsight the fact that Krystal had been so distant in the weeks leading up to Blaze of Glory XI should’ve been a red flag, but when that Saviours promo opened the show and it was announced that Krystal had joined them? Yeah, it left me and Carter shell-shocked and at a loss for words.

And that was before Krystal went out to explain why she had joined The Saviours before everything went to hell in a handbasket.

I’m not usually one to make excuses for my defeats but if there was one thing I could point too as the root cause of my defeat in the Bombshell Internet Title Match tonight, it would be Krystal’s attack on me after I came to Cassie’s aid! I tried to fight through the pain but eventually even my Go Gym Training gave out.

Speaking off? If I have anything to say about it Krystal just earned herself a lifetime ban from the Go Gym for that attack but as Jenny Tuck found out a few months ago, I don’t run the Go Gym, that school’s run by Gabriel and Odette Stevens, then again I strongly doubt Gabriel will disagree with my stance.

As for Krystal? She hasn’t been seen since she got the win over Chelsea Le Clair tonight ironically the only member of Team Go who won their match tonight was the one who had cut all ties with me and Carter in the worse way possible! If I were to get my revenge it would likely have to wait until the next Climax Control at the earliest since Krystal was unlikely to remain in Las Vegas when the rest of the Go Gym Graduates live here.

”Carter’s hospitalized, Krystal’s betrayed us and I’m not the Bombshell Internet Champion.” I muttered to myself as I walked through the corridors looking for any sign of the Aussie Bombshell, I didn’t even care about the main event between Amber and Roxi at this point, I needed to make Krystal pay for what she had done. ”What the hell got into her tonight? I thought we were friends?” I wondered to myself before I heard a young woman sobbing just around the corner.

When I turned that corner my heart melted, Cassie was curled up in a foetal position on the floor crying her eyes out! She had been Krystal’s first victim, all for the crime of trying to reason with her older cousin. ”Damn it! Damn it!” Cassie cussed herself in between sobs and I wasn’t even sure if she had registered my presence yet, or how no one else had stumbled upon the crying teenage girl in a packed arena for that matter. ”How could I be so god damn stupid?!”

”Cassie?” I asked in a low voice as I walked up to the youngster and she glanced up at me, her brown eyes nearly completely bloodshot thanks to all the crying she had done. ”Hey, hey, it’s okay! I’m here!” I comforted the nineteen-year-old as I sat down next to her and hugged her from the side. ”I know for a fact that Krystal couldn’t be farther from the truth when she called you a spoiled brat.”

”That’s not the point! I thought Krystal loved me like the little sister she never had!” Cassie sobbed and I just lowered my head, I didn’t need to be a psychiatrist to be able to tell that the girl was going to need some serious counselling to get over this, if she ever did. ”And instead? I got kicked in the jaw by her before she threatened to attack my bad leg with a chair! Thanks for coming to my aid I guess, even if it did cost you the title.”

”Never thought I’d say this about one of SCW’s titles, never mind one as prestigious as the Bombshell Internet Title.” I sighed as I put a comforting hand on Cassie’s shoulder and Cassie slowly started to ease up as I used my other hand to give her a handkerchief from my jeans pocket. ”But right now your mental health is more important than that, I’ll help you get through this Cassie, I promise.”

“Ari, there you are.” I looked up and saw Ms. Rocky Mountains who had been looking for me to interview me over everything that transpired tonight, however when she saw the scene in front of her she quickly dropped her professional posture. “Oh.”

”Rocky, if you’ve got any tissues handy Cassie could use them.” I explained to the interviewer who quickly nodded before she ran off to get some tissues for Cassie. ”I’ll take you to your mom’s house when you’re ready Ari, just take your time, okay?”

”Thanks Ari.” Cassie sighed before I helped her up, by that point the Main Event was over and Roxi was the new World Bombshell Champion and with Blast from the Past just around the corner? It was going to be a turbulent time for the new champ.

Not to mention a turbulent time for Team Go in general.

Go Gym, Las Vegas, Nevada
Monday the 27th of March 2023, 14:00pm

Remember when I said that the Go Gym hadn’t felt the same without Krystal? Well, you can officially magnify that by a thousand.

Krystal hadn’t officially been banned from the Go Gym but for all intents and purposes? She may as well have been! Despayre had been instructed to not let Krystal in if she showed up but that ended up being a moot point because Krystal had moved herself, Makayla, Rachel alongside her two dogs to Grand Junction, Colorado not long after she joined The Saviours, how she managed to get someone like Makayla to stay with her after she attacked me and Cass was beyond me but frankly? That wasn’t the main thing that was on my mind.

Technically there’s several things on my mind after last night’s Climax Control, just how far Krystal had gone off the deep end, Carter being attacked by Austin again (and no matter what The Troll says, I wasn’t too self-absorbed to help, the situation had resolved itself by the time I was ready to rush out there), the new Internet Champion Jack Washington and what that meant for Alexander Raven and off course, the four teams who had advanced to the next round.

Goth and Kim Pain, Jack Washington and Bobbie Dahl, Calvin Harris and Dawn Warren and Ken Davison and Courtney Pierce made up the teams that were in round two so far, any one of those teams would be a tough test for me and Oliver if we made it past the opening round but there was just one problem, our opposition was Sam Marlowe and Teddy Warren.

Don’t get me wrong, Sam is a fantastic wrestler and someone who I’ve wanted to wrestle since I signed that SCW contract but she’s also someone with a very good BFTP track record, heck she beat Krystal’s team to get past the opening round last year! And Teddy is someone who is as controversial as he is talented, I don’t know how good Oliver is in the ring because this is his debut match but we’ll see.

Wonder if we could look back at last year’s Blaze of Glory cycle and point to it as the moment where it all went wrong? Her start of darkness as it were? In any case, I had a meeting with Gabriel to attend, my first one since Blaze of Glory.

”So, is it safe to call Blaze of Glory XI a shitshow for the Go Gym?” I asked Gabriel as I stepped into his office and Gabriel raised his  eyebrow at my comment. ”It only went well for two graduates, Devona who wasn’t even scheduled to compete originally and that’s without even getting into Teddy’s antics with J2H and Krystal, do I even need to say anything about her?”

”This school’s students will have their good and their bad days, they may have had excellent training but they are still wrestlers all the same, it’s just that you had an especially bad night.” Gabriel nodded in response as he leaned forward on his desk. ”What surprises me most is that you are swearing so openly about it, it’s hardly a secret that you dislike using swear words.”

”Unless a person or situation has angered me enough, Krystal managed the rare feet of both!” I responded with a frown before I sat down in front of Gabriel’s desk. ”You’ve known Charlotte longer than I have Gabriel, do you have any insight as to why she committed those actions against me and Cass?”

”She’s always been a difficult woman to get a read on, possibly a side effect of her horrific upbringing.” Gabriel admitted as he shook his head and I nodded as I got the idea, I knew she was having the time of her life as the Bombshell Roulette Champion but so much has changed since then. ”With Cass, I can see her thinking that she was doing the right thing, you told me yourself that her title loss had sent Cass over the deep end.”

”I’ve seen footage of the title match between her and Rowen, I can’t really blame her for being angry but her threats were way out of line.” I responded with a frown as I brushed some hair over my shoulder. ”But that doesn’t excuse being ready to attack Cassie’s bad leg in such a vicious manner or turning that chair on me for the crime of stepping in!” I responded as I shook my head and let out a sad sigh. ”It’s like the woman I thought I knew died that night in Las Vegas.”

”It’s a developing situation but since Krystal has moved her family and training to Colorado I can’t be certain.” Gabriel sighed as he shifted his weight. ”It pains me to say this because she was one of the Go Gym’s best representatives when she was champion, but I fear that with her recent actions a permanent ban from the Go Gym might be in order.”

”Which is a moot point because Krystal’s moved to Colorado with her family and seems to have adopted Hell’s Gate as her new gym of choice.” I responded with a sigh as I leaned back. ”I’m sure Hell’s Gate is a fine gym and all, they’ve been helping Harper train for her graduation match for the past few weeks and based on everything I’ve heard? She’s going to be a great wrestler when she graduates, but the Go Gym won’t feel the same without Krystal.”

”Indeed, but you have more pressing matters.” Gabriel responded and it didn’t take me long to figure out what he meant. ”Your Blast from the Past Match is opening this week’s Climax Control, ironically against the same woman who eliminated Krystal from last year’s Tournament.”

”Luck of the draw I guess? I was hoping Sam would come up as a challenger during my Roulette Title Reign, but it didn’t last long enough for that potential match to happen.” I responded as I shifted my weight and Gabriel nodded. ”And what can I say about Teddy that hasn’t been said a thousand times? This is me and Oliver’s first tournament but stranger things have happened and I built my early career on the foundation of the Pride Tag Team Title reigns I had with Carter and Alex.”

”Yes, before you signed with SCW last year, you were considered a tag team specialist.” Gabriel nodded and I grinned as I thought back to that day in Corfu, and then it hit me. ”Something on your mind Ariana?”

”Just the realization that next Monday will be the first-year anniversary of my debut.” I admitted as I thought back to that night in Corfu, it was a wild night to be sure, my debut match was also Kaiju Rainbow’s last match with SCW, the Roulette Title Match between Bill Barnhart and Lachlan Kaine was one that would both go down in history and haunt Ms. Rocky Mountains’ nightmares for years to come and it was the night that Andrea Hernandez’s Bombshell Internet Title Reign and undefeated streak ended, but for me? My debut definitely stuck out in my mind. ”So much has changed since that tour of Greece, both good and bad.”

”The question remains though, would you change anything about the last year?” Gabriel asked and I thought back over the past twelve or so months for a moment.

”Only major one is not sticking with SCU until the end, at the time I thought I was stagnating in that promotion and needed a change of scenery but that was the fed that gave me my start and I felt terrible leaving Carter alone down there.” I admitted as I brushed some hair over my shoulder and Gabriel nodded in response. ”It worked out well for his career in the end, but still! Aside from that? I do wish I had won that qualifier against Melissa for the Ultimate X Match, maybe then I would’ve won it and enjoyed an even longer reign.”

”Sadly we’ll never know the answer to that what if scenario, but what we do know is that your future is still bright.” Gabriel assured me and I grinned in response. ”And one bad night won’t change that.” Gabriel added and after the conversation went on a bit longer I returned to the gym to resume my training, I knew Sam and Teddy were tough first round opponents but I was sure that I could win.

Then again, Oliver was an unknown commodity, only thing I knew about him was that he was a Jet City graduate! The last time Jet City and the Go Gym teamed up for Blast from the Past was when Fenris and Courtney Pierce won the 2018 tournament, off course this year’s incarnation of the GO/JC Connection has the genders of the graduates flipped around.

Who knows? Maybe I’ll win my first tournament?

A beach in Barbados
Tuesday the 28th of March 2023, 16:00pm

*promo time*

Yes, I’ve taken the white board with me to a beach for a promo, no I’m not doing it in a bikini, it’s not hot enough! And yes, Francisco was disappointed when he heard that!

”Sun, sea, sand and matches! Oh and one Greek American woman in front of a white board being held up by her fiancé, yep, it’s Blast from the Past Season and I’m one of this year’s participants!” I stated as I held up the pointer ready to point to the relevant areas. ”Now, the first batch of matches have taken place seeing Goth and Kim Pain, Ken Davison and Courtney Pierce, Jack Washington and Bobbie Dahl and Calvin Harris through to the second round! However there are still four other matches left in the first round and I’m in the first one!” I added as I pointed to the pictures of me, Oliver, Sam, and Teddy. ”And Krystal’s match is immediately after mine.”

Yep.

”Win or lose, I’ll watch Krystal’s match closely but I have my own match to worry about first, ironically against the same woman who eliminated Krystal from last year’s tournament, I bet your hoping that your run of luck against Go Gym Graduates will continue but don’t count on it!” I said as I moved the pointer back to the tag team match. It was at that point that a strong gust of wind blew my long back hair all over the place. ”I just had to pick a windy day to do an outdoors promo! Anyway, Sam you’ve got quite the controversial figure for a tag team partner in Teddy Warren but as controversial as he is? He’s talented in equal measure!”

But my partner?

”And he’ll be tangling with my partner! No, I don’t mean Francisco, he’s not that ready yet! I’m talking about my Blast from the Past Partner Oliver Zahn!” I stated as I moved the pointer to the picture of Oliver. ”He’s the wildcard in this match, he’s the only one in this match who can say that no one has ever seen him wrestle before! But he is a graduate of Jet City and the last time someone from Jet City teamed up with a graduate of the Go Gym was when Fenris teamed with Courtney Pierce five years ago, how did that end again?”

Oh yeah!

”That’s right! Fenris and Courtney won the whole tournament! Jet City and the Go Gym may be rival schools but their graduates go together like peanut butter and jelly! Which I guess makes this team a sandwich of me and Oliver and this took a weird turn very quickly!” I admitted with a hard facepalm before running my hand down my face. ”You know what? Let’s just jump into the meat and potatoes of this promo! The part where I talk about Sam and Teddy in more detail.”

At that point I noticed a local walking by in a Sam Marlowe t-shirt and waved him over.

“Holy crap! You’re Ariana Angelos!” The local fan exclaimed happily upon recognising me and I grinned broadly. “Your my second favourite Bombshell after Sam Marlowe!”

Well, that dampened my spirits a bit!  ”And I’m sure it breaks your heart that I’m facing her in the opening round of Blast from the Past.” I added as I tried to stay professional and the fan nodded. ”What are your predictions for the match?”

“Oh man, that’s a tough question, your both so hot!” The fan responded at which point Francisco cleared his throat. “And talented!”

”Much better!” Francisco responded before another fan, this time wearing a Teddy Warren shirt, came up to us and agreed to take part. ”Now, please answer my fiancé’s question!”

“Well, Sam has the experience but you’ve got youth on your side.” The fan explained and I nodded along in response. “It’s honestly pretty hard to call.”

”Good answer! Because Sam? That’s what this match basically boils down too for the two of us, youth vs. experience!” I stated as I pointed to the pictures of me and Sam. ”Sam, you debuted for SCW when I was fourteen, if that made you feel old then I apologise, really! But I can say that you were one of my favourite Bombshells when I was first getting into wresting and ever since I signed my SCW contract last year? Your name was at the top of the list of women I wanted to face!” It was at that point that I turned to the fan again. ”Okay, pop quiz! How far did Sam make it in last year’s tournament?”

“Err, she made it to round two before being eliminated by Goth and Candy.” The fan remembered with a nod as the other fan nodded along. “And that team was eliminated in the Semi-Finals by Mikah and Mac Bane.”

”I’ll give you bonus points for that bonus fact.” I nodded in approval before letting the fan go. ”Sam your goals are pretty clear to me, you want to one up your performance in last year’s tournament by making the semi-finals, maybe even the finals! However as much of a fan of you I was growing up? I can’t let that happen, I have my own goals for this tournament and I’m not about to let a dream match of mine distract me from my ultimate goal, winning Blast from the Past!” I said before turning to the Teddy Warren fan. ”Now, you seem to be a pretty big fan of Teddy Warren, how has he done so far?”

“Well, he’s had his ups and downs but I just like him for the personality he brings to his matches.” The fan explained and I gave him an odd look. ”Who can forget his matches with J2H? Or the rock battles with Caleb Storms!”

I bit my lip on joking about people who’d rather forget about the latter. ”Memorable moments for sure but can you remember anything he’s done in the ring? I know he was the Internet Champion a couple of years ago.” I added and the Teddy fan paused before shaking his head. ”Even your fans remember you mor for your antics outside of the ring Teddy, that’s kinda sad isn’t it? And yet you want a rematch with J2H! Even as one of the nicer Bombshells on the roster, I have to question just what you’re thinking making such a decision! But I can’t deny your talent all the same, which reminds me.” I said before turning to the Teddy fan. ”How do you think Teddy will do against Oliver Zahn?”

“Oh jeez, I don’t know!” The fan responded as he shook his head. ”Oliver Zahn is a complete newcomer, no one’s seen him wrestle!”

”That’s exactly the point I wanted to make.” I admitted before sending the Teddy Warren fan on his way. ”Oliver is such a wildcard in this match that even I don’t know a lot about him and I’m his partner in this match! How do you think you’ll do against him Teddy? I don’t even know the answer to that question myself because the only thing I know about him is that he’s a Jet City Graduate but it’s like I said, the Go Gym and Jet City have great chemistry together when it comes to their graduates as tag team partners and I don’t see this ending any differently!”

It's that simple.

”This is my first Blast from the Past Tournament and I plan to make this a memorable one for all the right reasons!” I said as I pointed to the pictures of me, Oliver, Sam and Teddy in that order. ”Getting to wrestle someone as legendary as Sam Marlowe and watch my partner deal with someone as controversial as Teddy is definitely a good way to kick off a memorable tournament but you know what would be even better than that? Go on, Guess!”

And with that I decided to wrap things up.

”That’s right! Winning my Blast from the Past debut match! I may be facing stiff competition in Sam Marlowe but nothing’s impossible and I’m sure Oliver is more than capable of handling Teddy!” I added as I flipped some hair over my shoulder. ”After that? Who knows, I need to win this match first before I think that far ahead but if all goes to plan? Then Sam Marlowe and Teddy Warren will soon bask in the glow of the Greek Angel’s Light, see you on Sunday guys!”

I left the scene with Francisco and the board as the scene fades.
